Day 22 and there have been significant changes in the size of the fan leaves. The stems are looking much fatter and more sturdy as well. Cheech has her 5 nodes, perfect and ready for topping. I am going to put off topping her though until Venezia is ready and that should be in the coming couple of days. Other than that, changed water and adjusted the lights about 3cm higher to keep them at 60cm from the plant. Again I left the Milwaukee PH controller to run for about an hour to get the PH down to 6.0 Day 25 and ladies have been topped at node 4, keeping node 3 and cleaning node 1 & 2. Light LST on Cheech’s axillary buds which are already well developed Day 27 - following up with gentle LST twice daily, tightening up the formation of the mainline. I’ve noticed what seems to be a bit of stress on the leaves of Cheech (see photos) which is affecting both plants under the same light. So I’ve moved the light up a few centimetres and rechecked and adjusted the PH which was at around 6.4.

Unfortunately I had to harvest the BADAZZ-CHEESE (=BADAZZ-KUSH x CHEESE) from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS early, because of looking bud-rot. The plant needed at least another 10 days to finish, she still had plenty of white pistils and would have gained in harvest weight and also produced more trichomes, if given more time. The final harvest weight of 31 gram dried bud, was still a VERY GOOD RESULT seen the circumstances. The buds are dank and have lots of trichomes, all in all a VERY NICE KUSH/CHEESE VARIETY!

Had major struggles with humidity due to cold front, but got it in somewhat better ranges. My planet of the grapes started wilted/ drooping mid week [other strains were fine]. Did some research and it turned out they needed more water.[ I normally water every other day, feed every second feed and I top dressed before flipping].I fed them, got the humidity back in acceptable ranges. I also gave them some tea [molasses, banana peels, Gaia green bloom,all purpose and worm castings] They seem to be happier. Very eager to defoliate at end of this week been taking few leaves here and there but nothing crazy. Decided to build a suspended 2ply scrog net seems to be working great. Buenas gente, vienen tomando buena formita los cocos! muy contento con su aroma como ya he mencionado, y ahora que estamos arrancando las 6ta semana se empieza a ver la parte mas linda (a mi parecer) que es el engorde.. es esa semana crítica donde uno piensa que los cogollos se estancaron, que algo le pasó, y ahí es cuando aguantas 2 o 3 días más, y te das cuenta que empezó a engordar 😍😍😍😍 Veremos estas semanas como sigue!

Large 2x4 tent: Pineapple Express far back left corner, white widow front left corner; berry-white middle and purple trainwreck far right. Small 2x3 tent- purple trainwreck on week 7-8 of flower and white widow on week 3-4. Male-separated in a dark non-aerated room All the girls are growing well. Berry white suspected plant is still looking indica. Purple trainwreck is budding well and stretching too. Much more than I’ve seen other PT plants do, I don’t think the nodes are too spaced out though. White widow is starting to frost up. This particular plant is a clone, the mother developed buds on the leaves and the fan leaves were covered in trichomes giving me lots of good trim for edibles. The leaves are already beginning to frost up. The Pineapple Express is a bit out of control, I had to put a second net up to control her. I went ahead and super cropped her as well, I did snap a few branches but she doesn’t appear to be phased by the damage. I selectively pollinated specific branches on each female in the larger tent. The male was removed before the pods opened. I think one pod may have already split but I tried to minimize his natural pollination. He was moved into a different room with no air flow and no light. Pods opened in a few days and I used tips to collect pollen and then dab onto buds. Pollinated branches are marked with a green tie around them. I’m hoping that by spraying the tents with water after pollinating that I didn’t pollinate the entire tent. Here’s to hoping for neat seeds for in the future whenever I am able to grow again and for good bud 👩‍🌾🏼🌱

Ok another week closer.... The girls are stacking and blowing up, everything is perfect.... The room smells like a chocolate store, love it. They are making good progress, they complain a little about this heat (rainbow has been complaining about both the heat and the cold since the beginning), but it started raining today and there will be rain and storms in the next few days, and it is expected to cool down and much more normal weather in the next 10 days. The temperature is 38 C, that's what the forecast says, the thermometer in the shade says 45, in the sun 60+ Stay High and Keep Growing!!!
