GREAT GROW OVERALL! More to come!

So the grow cycle was pretty easy. I work away from home and I sometimes have to leave for 4 days in a row. Before I'd leave for the four days I'd just add 4-6 cups of RO water with some Cal-Mag. When I can back she was always bigger and didn't have any problems. I was lazy this time and never checked the PH of the water. This strain is pretty resilient so props to sweet seeds. I decided not to LST this plant, it was a little taller than I wanted but grew in a nice shape. I still cant believe how purple this strain is. I started to get foxtailing on the top bud not sure what would cause that. Once again sorry for the lack of pictures. I'll let you know the smoke report later.

Runtz Punch is growing nicely. I have topped her today and removed the first node. Everything is looking good and she is growing well. Hello Diary. It ended the fourth week of flowering on my small farm. When I open the box, I am overwhelmed by the strong fruity scent. I have never had such a scented farm before. 😋 The plant looks really impressive, it is a little over a meter high, it is full of flowers that literally cover the whole branch, especially the main cola. 😎 Along with two Haze Berries on the farm, there is also one Fat Banana Auto, on which brown spots have started to appear. For now, Haze Berry looks healthy which gives him a rating more for resilience. Watering is every 2-3 days, with BioBizz being added every other time. Maybe it’s too much for Fat Banana after all. Preventively I add CalMg 1.5 ml / lit. Let’s take a look at what happened last week. 07/11/2020 - Day 44. Watering. I preventively added 1ml / l CalMg and regulated p.H. at 6.3 with Plagron’s Lemon Kick. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.4 degrees and 44% humidity. 09/11/2020 - Day 46. Watering. Since I noticed leaf decay, I watered like two days earlier just by adding CalMg and I regulated p.H. at 6.4 Temp / Humidity on the farm - 25.7 degrees and 44% humidity. 12/11/2020 - Day 49. Photographing and watering. This time I added BioBizz as scheduled for the current flowering week. Temp / Humidity on the farm - 24.8 degrees and 44% humidity. Overall, I am pleased with how the plants look and how well they are progressing. Now that the intense smell is there, I somehow see a light at the end of the tunnel. Two to three weeks and the harvest is coming. See you soon. 🙌

Tag 29: 🌱: Beginn Woche 5. Da ich denke, dass wir mittlerweile in der Vorblüte sind, trage ich diese als erste Blütewoche ein. Es gab ganz leichte Anpassungen am LST, ich werde die Lady jedoch vermutlich von nun an in die Höhe wachsen lassen. Desweiteren wurden einige der untersten Fächerblätter, die bereits vollständig verschattet waren, entfernt. Auch 1-2 kleinere Blätter, die nach innen wuchsen und den Blüten die Sonne nahmen, wurden entfernt. Leider ist mir auch eines der größeren Fächerblätter abgebrochen, das ich noch behalten wollte, aber ich denke sie wird es verkraften. 💧: Die Erde ist immernoch feucht. 💡: Die Beleuchtung ist unverändert (DLI ~40, Abstand zur Pflanze ca. 35cm) Tag 31: 🌱: Bisher lasse ich sie einfach erst mal wachsen, ich denke jedoch darüber nach die nach innen wachsenden Fächerblätter morgen doch noch mal zu entfernen. 💧: Die Erde ist immernoch feucht. 💡: Die Beleuchtung ist unverändert (DLI ~40, Abstand zur Pflanze ca. 35cm) Tag 32: 🌱: Heute wurde erneut die Schere angesetzt und ein paar der nach innen wachsenden Blätter sowie ein paar kleinere Triebe im Inneren entfernt. Das LST wurde nur minimal angepasst, um eine einheitlichere Höhe zu erreichen. 💧: Die Lady wird so langsam etwas durstiger und so gab es heute wieder ca. 3 Liter Nährstofflösung. Diese wurde jetzt etwas erweitert und entspricht nun ca. 50% Bio Bizz Düngerschema. Zusätzlich dazu gab es dieses mal auch CalMag+Bittersalz. 💡: Die Lampe wurde ein paar klicks nach oben gehangen um die Werte in etwa konstant zu halten (DLI ~40, Abstand zur Pflanze ca. 35cm) Tag 34: 🌱: Heute wurden nur die Blätte etwas sortiert, um den Blüten mehr Licht zu geben. Mittlerweile haben die höchsten Triebe etwa 20cm (vom Boden aus) erreicht. 💧: Die Erde ist noch feucht. 💡: Die Lampe wurde noch ein Stück weiter nach oben gehangen, um die Beleuchtung in etwa konstant zu halten (DLI ~40, Abstand zur Pflanze ca. 35cm) Tag 35: 🌱: Ein paar der untersten, im Schatten liegenden, Blätter wurde entfernt, sowie 2-3 kleine Nachzügler Triebe aus dem Inneren. Das LST wurde ein wenig angepasst. Ich denke darüber nach noch ein paar mehr kleine Nebentriebe (vor allem aus der Mitte) zu entfernen, damit der vorhandene Platz besser für die größeren Triebe genutzt werden kann. Über Gedanken/Meinungen/Ideen dazu würde ich mich freuen 😉 💧: Zu Tagesbeginn ließ sie ihre Blätter ganz schön hängen und die Erde war ziemlich trocken, also gab es auch heute wieder etwa 3 Liter Nährstofflösung. 💡: Die Beleuchtung ist unverändert.

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Welcome to my Fast Buds sponsored shootout and living organic soil v coco side by side. I also plan to use this grow to my full advantage regarding a few age old nagging questions about methods. I have had a keen interest in L.O.S ( supersoil) since reading a few threads a while back on how amazing and productive it can be. After too much research and procrastinating I had to give it a go. I have been a decades coco/nft grower and recently threw my hat in the rdwc ring too. I have avoided soil due to the overwatering worry ( heavy handed chimp brain !) and the best potting soil/feeds. Catching up on the advances in indoor soil gardening and organics led me too subcools supersoil recipes to name a few but being a town dweller with farms everywhere around me still drew blanks on a lot of the ingredients needed and where the hell I could even begin to get them from. Thankfully , commercial savvy has now made buying it in ready to use and with a full range of beneficial bacteria ect available in amendments from a grow shop here in the uk. ecothrive have realised the potential for us to dive into this medium with all the mixing , measuring and resourcing. I bit the bullet and £150 later I now have 4 x37Litre pots that will be used for as long as I want to feed the soil for without EVER needing nutrients again potentially. The coco has also had charge mixed in to encourage the bennies to colonize there too. I will be using the shogun nutes that I know do the business with coco to compare with for yield , growth and taste. I have 3 seeds each of 4 Fast Buds Strains to use as a control for the grow and am journaling each strain in their own diaries. This statement will be used to start each one as the information is identical at this point but following this I will do them individually. I am now starting their second week since opening the seed packets , straight into soaked and shook root riot cubes and into the heated propagator. They had all showed their heads by end of day 3 and a couple needed helmet surgery to open up without being hindered . I have has them in the prop for a few days but they needed to get settled as they were popping roots out all over the cubes. They have now been in their final pots for 2 days complete and starting their 3rd today at day 8 since planting in cubes. I am impressed with the speed and success of these girls already (12 of 13 germinated) . Well done fast buds. So here we go folks , any comments , ideas ,questions , advice are always welcome and I hope we can have some fun experimenting with defol v non defol , topping v fimming v bending and any other curiosities along the way. Day11 Today I did some defoliating. It took me quite some time laying on my stomach😅 I also like a clean growing space as u can see😁

Day 7 of flowering: Now we are moving. The Mimosa lemon is getting her groove on without doubt. She has taken to the l.s.t training perfectly now andnher many tips are all in a good position for the stretching period now. She has a lot of really vibrant looking budlets forming on each tip now and providing I can keep them where they are as they try to go vertical, it should lead to a good stem filled structure of long colas. Below decks is looking nice and healthy too with some airflow already . If I can keep them in good light and air then I will avoid the defoliation with this happy girl. So far they have still only had water as feed and there is no sign of any hunger or deficiency to concern me. I am very impressed with this strain and as a Christmas bonus to the purchase too. 16 seeds of it free. So far a great grower. The fact she is so well laid out also gives me hope of a good yield. Being a 9 week flowering hybrid of Auto Tangie and Purple punch , we have 8 more weeks to get her to show her beauty and produce that cocktail of citrus and berries. Working her to this point has been very simple and she has met the l.s.t challenges without trying. A very easy to grow and work with strain so far. Glueberry is looking very odd at present. She isnt looking overfed or deficient but something is amiss. She is in flower but still very bunched up looking with a few curled tips to the fan leaves. She isn't stretching out like the Lemon has at all and looks like she doesn't like something. !. I am holding back on her waterings for the next few feeds to see if she is too damp maybe. I am not too worried about her yet but I am also moving her to a better lighting position to hopefully help her get stretching out properly. So there we have it growmies. Both doing OK and hopefully a lot bigger for the next update. be safe and well.

The ladies are coming along very nice. I had to defoiliate them once cause they blew up and I needed the lower branches to get the light. Now it's time to start training these girls. Some but not all will be trained. I'm so pleased with the outcome so far. The banana blaze is super easy to grow as well as the Colorado Cookies. They are on their stretch mode now. Let's see what next brings me. 🌿💚🍌🍪💭

No bug or disease problems. I even took her off veg nutes way too soon and she recovered like a fucking champ. I’m popping two more this week. Unfortunately i didn’t weigh it because Of some very unfortunate circumstances that I was dealing with at the time. I essentially had to vacate my premise within 24 hours. A few days after harvest. Anyways. I ended up smoking the whole thing with my friends and it was straight fire. The terps were crazy also. Super sweet. After curing she had a very sweet smell like bubblegum / grape. This was only my second harvest ever.
