Week two of the vegetative phase, and the Banana Purple Punch is growing like crazy!🌱🌿 The Banana Purple Punch is growing fast and looks super healthy. The leaves are a vibrant green, and the plant is definitely thriving. I’m sticking to the BioBizz nutrient schedule for the vegetative phase, and I’ve also added some Root Juice to support strong root development. 🌱 So far, everything seems to be going perfectly. The growth has been steady, and I’m excited to see how much more progress the plant will make in the coming weeks. This is shaping up to be a great grow! 😁✨

Outdoor temperature up 15C. Indoors, in grow room, 5C up on last week. Epic week of growth - lush, green canopy. Finally understand the bouncing PH issue. Weird that no-one talks about it for the beginners. Your DWC needs daily attention. In any 24hr period, the PH rises from 5.5 to 6.5, and must be brought down again with PH Down. Thus in any one day the roots span PH=5.5-6.5 and are capable of absorbing a range of nutrients, which are absorbed into the plant at various different PH levels. Currently feeding 13l pot with 5-10ml of Ionic Hydro Bloom daily (EC=1050-1150), 5-10ml of Liquid Oxygen daily, 1l of water daily. On Sundays, they also get 15ml of Liquid Silicon. PH adjusted daily. No sign of buds developing yet.

Day 22- She stopped putting on height due to one night of a dramatic temperature drop. It's a cooler fall this year plus a freeze came through the night before. That night, I was up doing some studying when I noticed the reading on the remote display. N o telling how long it had been in the very low 60's. The problem was fixed simply by adding a heater to the room. Now, the temp is only in the 68 degree range for the final 2 1/2 hrs. before the lights are cut back on. Day 26- Her bud branches hav grown at least 2 -5 innches in length and have at least 2-4 bud sites already. Instead of Defoliation, I decided to actual two different types of LST. The first is simply bending to fan leaf branches under to expose the bud branches to more light. The main benefit is that you still keep the ability to absorb more of the light energy with them. I look at the fan leaves as your plant's " Personal Sun Panels". Since they store energy in the day and use that reserve to grow at night, why would you take something away for her that is meant to help her? Also, the second method I used is something I like to call" wind thickening". The technique is using wind resistance to train your plant's stem and branches to become more rigid by growing thicker to stablize itself. So, instead of a gentle breeze, I use a three speed box fan at varies distance. I started doing this on Day 22 and the results are definitely showing. The main stem went from 1/16 in. to a nice 3/8 in.

This week went fast, she is flowering at a nice rate, leaves not too damaged, just the tip drying of under hot super hps and fans, so just removed all the old damaged fan leaves, cut in half those shading under growth and tucked those healthy one when possible. She looks greyish in strong light compare to the other strains, a true grey back gorilla lol, trichomes all over buds, smell is so interesting, pine, lavenders and citrus with some other terpines blend I cannot identify yet. Fed her some Epsom salt only this week.

WEEK 3 of flower, A lot went on this week. The watering's in between feeding were made up of CAL MAG and SILICA and I boosted the P & K in the feeding, another round of defoliation and a deep watering after the feeding dried up from last week. I have seen a minuscule amount of nutrient burn only on a few leaves, 1 or 2 at most. It looks like the increase in canopy can handle the extra food, If you see the time lapse it was in 8 days and the stretch is very apparent a super speed version at the end ala Gary Numan,

This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grows First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. Donde vivo hay muchas variaciones de temperatura pero generalmente el grow se mantiene entre 23° y 29°, la humedad también varía bastante pero no baja de 50% ni sube de 78%. 9/7 Day 7 Things are ok watching Jen closely and dropping PH slowly from 6.8 to 6.0 by the gauge (no more dye... yea) to see if its a lockout. Lowered lights to 24 inches as I am seeing a bit of stretch. Day 8: All settled in and game for the grow now. Six shooter is a lanky looking lady with longer leaves than the other two girls. She has a sativa look to her already !. lol shebis on her 3rd set and possibly 4th at a pinch Strawberry pie is the smaller of the group in overall size so far with her leaves resembling the six shooter. onher 4th set of nodes Mexican Airlines is a broad leaved girl indeed. lots of area to power those growth spurts hopefully . All around 2 inches tall and now directly under the sp3000 with the room fan keeping them dancing. Lets hope they are thick stemmed ,multi noded ,monsters next week!!!. With their position in the room , they will be trained but not to keep their height down as they are next to a tall lady and need to keep the light up. Be safe Growmies.
