Hello world! Another week of growing season in my garden. The dark phoenix feels great, I continue to train it on the minelineinig system, as you can see I left 3 processes from each branch that will bloom in the future. Plants love the training and the food that the GHS team provided. I make defoliation every 3rd day. I will go the vegetation until this Friday, then 12/12.

Week 8 has gone well and she is chugging along. She is still putting out new pistils with some turning orange. Calyx's are growing longer and buds are still soft. I'm thinking a min of 10 weeks flowering for her. I removed some leaves on inner canopy to bring some air and light deeper. She is so bushy its hard to even defoliate maybe next time i will remove some more lateral branches... afterremoving the leaves I must have come incontact with a pollen sack as where I defoliated all seemed to be polinated over night and are making seeds :( I will cut my losses and harvest while seeds are still small.

I finally named her... Sarah Lee. 😁 I moved her upstairs where I can control the environment better. Michigan weather is a beast and my basement was a bad idea for a summer tent grow. The AC upstairs is making her happy and helps with humidity. So boom. She is flowering nicely! 😍 Water (pH 6.58) about 1.25 gal every 2 days now. She's thirsty. Still not full strength on Nutes, next water maybe more Tiger Bloom. I still use vinegar for pHing. No issues at this time, except humidity. Oh, and my cat is obsessed. I'm not wanting to smoke cat hair, so I put up curtains. I'm also not upset I didn't do any LST. This plant is thriving. Next time I will try LST. I just want to get good bud off an inside grow. 😊 Going into week six and I'm super excited. 😎👍🏼🌱 One last thing. I changed her light schedule to 18-6. I was 19-5 and read a blog where the grower increased dark an hour at flower and it really bulked the buds. We'll see. GL y'all.

Increased nutrients to 11ml/gal each. Trichomes still mostly clear. Several weeks of flower left yet.

I guess the main takeaway from this week is to always have runoff when feeding with nutes and 12 inches should probably be the closest the light gets to the canopy on max power 75% strength bloom boost is probably too concentrated a dose. I fed her about 5 days ago then plain water then a molasses water. Probably getting a bit more molasses tonight then plain water til harvest which could be as soon as Monday the 22nd but will probably be a bit later. Happy growing friends 😶‍🌫️

However, I'm happy to share that everything is looking great so far! 🎉 First off, let me express my relief that I haven't encountered any hermaphroditism issues like some unfortunate growers have experienced. I've been extra vigilant in checking my plants for any signs of bananas or seeds, and thankfully, all is going smoothly on that front. Fingers crossed, and let's hope it stays that way. 🤞 Now, let's talk about the progress of these beauties. The plants are thriving, exhibiting vigorous growth and magnificent stretching. 🌱✨ Maintaining the well-being of my plants remains my top priority. They're displaying a healthy thirst, as each plant continues to drink around 2 liters of water every two days. I've been closely monitoring the pH level of the nutrient solution, which has been steady at 6.11. This ensures optimal nutrient uptake and keeps the plants in their prime condition. Moreover, the TDS range is consistently between 1050 and 1150, providing them with the ideal nutrient balance. ⚖️💧 Speaking of the plants, I must mention how amazing they smell! The aroma is becoming more intense with each passing day. Today, I conducted a smell test for the OG and Oreo strains. The OG emitted a super strong smell of OG/Skywalker, while the Oreo strain has a unique and captivating scent that is difficult to describe but absolutely amazing. I can't wait to smoke that one! Tomorrow, I'll do a smell test for the Queen strain as well. 🌿👃🔥 As we progress through this crucial stage, I'll continue to provide the best care possible to ensure a successful harvest. Today (Day 22) marks the last day of foliar feeding with Bud Factor X, an essential step to maximize THC development and quality. Had a calcium toxicity from trying out a couple Nectar For The Gods supplements I got in a free sample kit from them. I looked then up and their whole lineup is calcium based so that makes sense. I flushed the pots out really well and then I brewed a compost tea with earthworm castings, green compost, humus, seaweed extract, humic acid, fulvic acid, kelp powder, some malted barley, NFTG Zeus Juice, Primordial Solutions Sea Green, a little Hyshield, some Europonic Nitrozyme, Europonic Fossil Fuel, and then some blackstrap molasses and brown sugar. I brewed it for 40 hours and then I added 1 cup per gallon of water and fed all my plants with it. They all perked right up. They seemed to love it.
