Cut the little Canuck on day 75 before dawn and placed in tub of clean water for 4 hours to remove debris. Then hung under a shady tree to dry excess water. Very dry breezy day. By evening I weigh it at 168 grams stem and all. Then hung upside down bag open to dry. It was beginning to wilt after 48 hours... hopefully long enough to break down some carbs. I’ll be checking every day an if rain threatens I’ll put in shed. Hope to trim and bag in shed after 7 days to finish drying. Pyramid is ready to cut. It will get the same treatment. I know this is a little unorthodox and a bit risky getting the plant so wet before drying. I feel like it just gives the plant an extra day to use up any nutrients and break down those starches.

Hi guys, so I chopped the little gelatocake 3 days ago and its hanging in 55% humidity and 15°f, I have taken a sample bud, you no how it is lol. Sherbert mimosa are struggling along and going purple 💜 bit cold here lately, starting to fatten up a bit now, the baby photos are growing fast but need repoting. Happy growing guys 💜💚💪

📆 Harvest Week, 19-25 August 2024 19-22 Aug - Observed and let the plant grow. 23-24 Aug - Flushed with RO water, turned lights down to 40% power. 25 Aug - Harvested the plant, began the curing process. 💚 Thank you Divine Seeds for this sponsored grow! 📑 The final week of flowering for Pablo Escobar! I gave her a good 71 days as recommended by the breeder. She grew using every one of them until the end. Another genetic hit by all means. A pleasure to grow. This is a sativa dominate variety so expect a longer flower time. You will be rewarded with thick dense buds, covered with resins and trichomes, with a sweet herb, earthy smell, nice and danky. Began the curing process in a climate controlled closet with a RH of 53% and temp of 71deg F. The main leaves are removed before the branches are hung upside down for 7-10 days for drying. From there the buds are removed from the branches, separated, and are trimmed to remove as much leaf as possible. Then placed in quart mason jars with a 62% Boveda TerpShield packet, burped daily for about a week or until 62% RH is maintained. Then labeled and placed in a cool, dark closet for long term storage for up to about 8 months or so. 🔥 Smoke Report: It took Pablo 10 days to slowly dry out. I cut all the buds off the branches and used my 19” Bud Trimmer for a quick finished product! I’m really impressed just how fast this trimmer works. It can take about 1/2oz or 14g at a time and with 4 or 5 turns of the handle it’s finished. Nice beautiful manicured buds in about 10 seconds. No more trim jail for me. As for the smoke. The taste definitely is the same as the smell. Lemony or citrus. The high is definitely that of a sativa. Comes on slow, then creeps up on you hard. Stays with you for a couple of hours, needing only a hit or two to recharge the high afterwards. No doubt this strain is very high in THC, and should be taken into account for the beginner. Day 132 - 22.09.2020 - Pic updates. Now that my other plant got the boot, this lady has more space. I put up the trellis net to move the branches slightly and get better light penetration. Day 134 - 24.09.2020 - Pic updates. Her lower leaves are starting to yellow which is concerning. I am keeping an eye on her. Day 138 - 28.09.2020 - Pic updates. So definitely concerned. I went out and got the items I needed to start brewing a compost tea as she was yellowing more and looking a bit sad. Even though all my nutes have been given and the PH is right, I do not know why she is having these issues, but I am hoping a nice compost tea will get her back. Other than that she needs to put on more weight. But of the little buds that are there, they are dense as can be. So I am happy with what I see quality wise so far. I will be checking her in more detail later to see what the trichomes are doing, but when I checked quickly we were still very clear.

2/12/25 top dressed with 2 tsp grow 1 tsp microbe and 2 tsp bloom. this genetic is always sooo freaking frosty. shes already starting to frost up on the fan leaves. finally looking like shes in flower. it took her awhile to get started i feel like compared to past grows/ other Cultivars. 2/18/25 she has a very nice and even structure to her. a bunch of tops that are 3-5 node top colas with a nice disconnected set of buds after an inch two space between the nodes. frosty gassy and fairly large considering pot size.

Week 4 of flowering, time to switch to the Bloom nutrients. All the ladies have been cleaned/trimmed last week, I will go for another unexpected buds hunt, the plants are gonna make some few shoots, usually on the nodes, I will pinch off those lil new growth under the canopy to avoid any waste of energy. And I will keep on plugging off any big fan leaves if it starts to recover a lower bud. Last week using the humidifier, I will swap it versus the dehumidifier next week. Unfortunately the 2 Afghan Hash Plants were males and have been pulled down.
