Lookin good, no more herms so far as I’ve tightened things up hopefully that’s the last of them for good. I installed a 4Inch AC infinity fan and filter as an intake so I have been able to close all of the vents. At this point the leaf strip has proven to be a solid method, I have nothing to compare bud size at this point but just the extra space it opened up is a plus. I’m sure the lowers will be a little more firm and the plants obviously haven’t had to be fed as often as usual so its saving time, water and nutrients. The added microbes have also allowed me to keep my ppm around 1000 instead of 1080ish without any sign of deficiencies. The Mandarin cookies x Dionysus has a little cal-mag issue but that was a trait from the mother which out of 10+ grows all had a cal-mag deficency. Days 92 - 98 (from sprout) 8/23/24 - 8/29/24 Loompa's Headband x TK fading hard this week - checking trichome color through a 15x loupe, needs more time The Good Shit drinking a gallon of water a day but slowly backed off near end of week - my guess would be a 14-week flowering period for this genotype before harvest quality I'm pretty much watering daily a 1/4 gallon to Blue Nose Pit or less to keep mulch layer from drying out Sweet 16 S1 takes the win for most trichome coverage out of the garden, has the most up-front aroma out of the geno hunt PAR is all over the place on this one and totally messed up, after this week I'll raise the light and focus on the appropriate PAR for canopy of The Good Shit Pest Management slipping too, fungus gnats are repopulating and it seems the ecosystem has encountered a serious imbalance of beneficials and predators that normally kept soil/mulch in-check Plan on short-term remedying this with a top-dress of remaining compost + em bokashi and a moderate drench of EM5 following with repeated treatments of enzymes (tweetmint) Long term solution may need a predator/beneficials kit and/or higher quality vermicompost after knocking them back with enzymes

I started germination of 4 Gelat.Og beans on 29/12/2020. I pre moistened my rockwool cubes with ph balanced water to 6.4. Made sure the plugs were just damp and not soaked. Using a small wooden dowel I increased the size of the plugs pre made holes. Than I sowed my beans into the holes. Ripped off a small piece of rockwool and mulched it up. Lightly filled the holes in with the mulched rockwool. Than stuck the plugs into a misted humidity dome, to complete germination. Shouldn't take anymore than 4-5 days to see some sprouts. Once I see some cotlydon leaves bursting to the surface. I will get the plugs planted into some 1 gallon pots. Plus get these ladies situated into their home. Cant wait! Some background information on my experience with Gelat.Og. I've grown this one out several times and I'm just absolutely in love with these genetics. One of the best terp pallets I've came across. Extremely creamy and rich aroma with a kush kick... majestic! She packs amazing bud structure and is a real branchy hauler. She packs a pretty large stretch, about 200% on average. Plus she has a bit longer of a flower time for a indica dominant... in my experience about 11 weeks. She gets a strong demand for more phosphorus mid flower. A good spike with the pk booster and shes happy as Larry! Another Seedsman masterpiece right her! Amped to dive In to this grow.

Wow well she has absolutely shot up this week! She's grown 45cm!!!! But what I do notice is she has massive internodal spacing. Not sure if it's something I did wrong or what... She is growing well after her flush. All the new leaves do not have the spots on. They are solid green! Again, thanks for the heads up @BigDaddyK on that one!

- 3rd round of veg nutes; doubling last weeks and upping cal mag from 2.5 to 3 - Bucket has 3.75 gal of water in it - First defoliation. Learned I should have cut more bottom leaves since I ended up doing that down the line anyway - Trying to keep humidity between 55-65%

They are all putting on weight quickly and taking shape very impressed with all of them and they prob have another week or so before flush/harvest. This week the humidity and temperature are better now than last week. We flushed and the water at pH 6.6. The flowers have also gained weight and the trichomes are becoming cloudy and it is already possible to find some amber. In the mornings we are trying to let her receive sunlight every day.

They look very healthy and the trichomes are looking to become great! Hope some good big buds time will tell. Its my first grow, any tip or advice is welcome!

I have hid the diary at this point. I think the plant is diseased. I am gonna start a new one. Gonna keep track of this one till it dies or snaps out of it. Week 7 begins and things are finally settling after a tough pest battle. I’ve been hitting spider mites with Bioneem + Neudosan sprays regularly (lights off), and the difference is clear — far fewer webs now. Ants were crawling up stems a while back, but a dish soap rinse handled them well and I’m barely seeing any now. Bud sites are fattening up, trichomes are mostly cloudy, and the smell is classic Blue Cheese funk — sharp and sweet. Harvest Plan: Going for a split harvest: Top colas around day 63–66 (week 9), depending on trichome progress. Lower buds/popcorn will stay on for 5–7 days more for extra ripening. Trichomes: Mostly cloudy, pistils ~60% browned and starting to pull back. Feeding Notes: Still finishing up bloom feed — Ripener starts week 8. Final stretch ahead. Just managing airflow, keeping a close eye on trichomes, and prepping for flush. Let’s finish strong baby!
