Day 100 | 03/04/2022:💧 I am back from my holiday today but I will only be able to harvest them at the end of the week, so I watered them today. but with a reduced 1L each because I still want them to be more on the dry side when I am taking them off Day 105 | 08/04/2022: Today was harvest day and the girls look sooooo dry and yellow omg.. 😅 Maybe that 1L was not enough, but still it's better that they are on the dry side. They just all went so yellow in the last few weeks, obviously they werent getting any nutrients but also I harvested them a bit late

Much appreciate all your likes, follows and comments. 🙏💚❤️💜 Week 14 Jan 15- Jan 21 Flushing and preparation for harvest 😁 on Jan 15 feed girls for the last time with nutrients. It was reduced dose by 60% 5ltr no runoff. Following morning topped up with 6ltr of ph down and only fish shit. Runoffs PH 6.2. Second watering Jan 18 6tr and 7ltr on Jan 21. It was last watering. Week went very well. No white pistils hairs on Athena for a good while and barely few left on Xena. Many buds have different shapes and colours but all of them are equally hard as rocks, sticky and smelling so deliciously. This week trichomes development was just like I wish for. Just milky and amber in play Status on Jan 22. Mostly of buds 20-50% amber. It's just perfect for my needs🤤 On Jan 21 lights were on for the last time and girls will be harvested after 48 or 72h of darkness. Stay tuned for the final week update! Video quality is so so for closeups with GoPro. Both phenos are super fire 2 more watering and will be flushing for about two weeks should take me near harvest at week 9-10. Mars Hydro FC4800 dimmed at 300w, will help lower temps and bring out those colours.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Hi Growmies, Luckily she has made full recovery, in the tank below and up top :). OST of the root growth I. Observing, I would attribute to the combination of orca, rhizotonic and cannazym. Mainly the orca though ;). I will minimum give her 1–2 more weeks max until I flip her, as it feels like she should have a fairly short flowering phase. Started flushing about three days ago. I think I have about a week left on these and it’s going to be time to get them out and start the drying process but the Pacific seed bank. The chronic strand is not even started to bud yet and the 42 fast bud plants are almost done, so there’s a huge difference there

Hola gente! Hermosa semana para esta planta, esta genética es muy fuerte, algo con lo que da gusto trabajar y ver crecer. Se la ve muy bien en el sustrato nuevo, un alto contenido de materia orgánica calculado más o menos para aprovechar la línea de Big Bud que nos dió Plagron. Esta genética tiene un aspecto bastante Índico, buen follaje y poco espacio entre nudos, por lo que alejamos la luz para que se estire un poco y aplicamos LST acercando otra vez la luz para aprovecharla todo lo posible. Apenas fue necesario quitar una hoja antes del entrenamiento. El tallo es muy flexible y resistente a la vez, no quisimos hacer una poda apical para buscar un mega bud en el ápice. Ahora tiene un nivel de humedad más óptimo gracias a el nuevo humidificador, algo de lo que estoy realmente orgulloso 😂 El riego se hace cada 3 días y se realiza con pequeñas aplicaciones para evitar escurrir nutrientes. El pH del agua de riego es 6.5 y la salida es de 7. Un pequeño rastrillado a la zona de alrededor del tallo para mantener el sustrato y no más que eso. Grand Daddy Purple auto is doing good. She is stretching a lot. Her colas are starting to develop. She is looking really good. She does have the slightest burn on her tips. Being it has no curl up, this would be a potassium deficiency. I recently increased her blooming nutrition. She is growing really well in asmall potter. Nothing more to report.
