🌱 Amnesia Skunk — Grow Recap (from seed to now) Strain: Amnesia Skunk Auto-Flower: 12/12 from seed Current age: Week 7 from seed Flowering reference: Week 3 of flower (by morphology, not calendar) How we got here • From day one, this run was intentional: 12/12 from seed, no veg phase. • Plants established quickly with strong root development and steady internodal spacing. • Early structure showed vigorous lateral branching, typical of Amnesia-leaning genetics. • Transition into flower was smooth — no stall, no stress signals. • By early flower, canopy density increased fast, especially in a full 8×8 room (~27 plants). This is where room logic started to matter more than single-plant logic. ⸻ 🌡️ Environment Snapshot (current) • Day temp: ~28 °C • RH: ~65% • EC: ~2.4 • pH: ~6.5 • Height: ~40–80 cm • Lighting: LED (multi-layer canopy + under-canopy) On paper? Some growers panic at 28 °C in flower. In practice? This is where understanding beats numbers. ⸻ 🍃 LED, Leaf Temperature & VPD (the part most skip) Under LED lighting, room temperature ≠ what the plant feels. Unlike HPS, LEDs: • Don’t dump infrared heat • Keep leaf surface temperature 2–4 °C cooler than ambient So when: • Room temp ≈ 28 °C • Leaf temp ≈ 24–26 °C • RH ≈ 65% 👉 Leaf VPD lands right in the comfort zone for early–mid flower. And the plants confirm it: • Deep, relaxed green • No tacoing • No stress-praying • Strong internodes • Uniform nutrient uptake across phenotypes That’s real data. We’re not ignoring numbers — we’re letting plant behavior be the final authority. Stability fixing something that isn’t broken. ⸻ ✂️ Defoliation — why it was heavier this week Let’s be very clear: This was not aesthetic defoliation. This was functional, room-driven defoliation. Context matters • 🏠 8×8 room • 🌱 ~27 plants • 🌬️ Airflow, humidity pockets, and light penetration scale very differently at this density A single plant might not ask for it — but the room did. Why we defoliated • Improve airflow through a dense canopy • Reduce micro-humidity pockets • Let photons travel into the canopy, not just hit the top • Reset apical dominance • Refocus energy toward flowering sites Yes — it was heavier than initially planned. But: • Genetics are strong • Roots are dialed • Feed is stable • Plants are healthy Healthy plants recover fast. Stressed plants don’t. Day 63 Fiona handled the defoliation really well so I LSTd her one (last?) time. I think the intense stretching is over and from now on all that will grow are her many (!) flower sites 🌸 First pistels showing and you can already smell her. Day 66 Fed her 2l with half the recommended dose of nutes. She is so happy with life right now, she started praying 🙏😍 She is not growing in size anymore so the daily LST sessions are over. Day 67 Just when I thought Fiona couldn‘t make me any prouder, I found a calyx that seems to indicate she is going to develop the red/purple optics promised for 60% of the strain‘s plants 🤞

The growth on this girl last week 🔥🔥🔥 & she's healthy AF(excuse my French🤣) She's been praying🙏 24/7 to my Geeklight Geekbeast Pro. Everything looking good so far, they stretched quite a bit already. Been about 2 weeks since 12/12 one week since I considered flowering. I am going to defoliate again in a few days before I have to leave them alone for a few days/week. So it'll be about 2.5-3 weeks from 12/12 when I do another defoliation. They seem to be drinking more, I added 2 more minutes run time to my watering schedule for next week so it works out to be 7.5 liters a plant instead of 6.5. I'll keep adjusting as needed. Haven't really got run off this past week

This is the final week of this girl. She has done well, the colas are big and juicy. Nothing much to say, I'll harvest her this friday. I'll update with my impressions.

Starting the third Week with no issues. Temperatures outside are high, so also indoors in the tent its a bit warmer. Started with the first nutrients in the water.

Day 36 1/13/25 I think she is taking to the location okay so far and after the first cut I did I’m not sure what I’m doing I’m just doing my own little mainline thing experimenting I guess I’m using APSU super soil and a little bit of build of soil 3.0 left from last grow and it’s a 7 gal pot als 1/14 day 37 Did second and final topping going allow about two weeks to bounce back and allow more growth and LST then flower

Day 35 - All still growing very strong, both plants that aren’t being mainlined are very short & bushy but have a lot of bud sights! This strain has taken very well to mainlining as well, the double mainline is up to 8 tops now and doing great! Thank you to everyone for following & make sure to check back for daily updates! I split the stem at the top cola’s and trimmed off all the excess leaves. Swapped out a light to one that barely fits my tent and running at 50% and below.

High, Pics from FD36 were taken shortly before the light went on. 😏 As you can see the buds from the Moby Dick in the BioBizz Light Mix soil aren't as big as those in the Canna Terra Professional Plus soil. They all get the same nutrient solution. EC in the soil is around 3,5 and the pH is 6,4. I checked the drain yesterday. 👌 "This stain needs a very high EC between 1.5 and 2.0. Also the breeder recommends to control the pH." - Source: Dinafem I can sign on that without thinking twice. It's just crazy what the Moby's drink. 😅👍 On FD37 they got PK 13/14 for the first time (EC 1,8 / pH 6,3). On FD40 same as on FD37. Stay green. 😉

The weather is going crazy at the moment, so I decided to take the plant outside. The leaves start turning in color. I already ordered a digital microscope looking for trichomes.
