So I have spider mites. I screwed up so much i think this is going 15 weeks. Lost coast to the rescue! time to finish these buggers off

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. We've reached the 4th week of flowering, and I'm thrilled to share some fantastic progress. First off, I'm pleased to report there's no mold in the tent, an achievement owed to persistent care. Our plants have experienced a growth spurt in height, adorned with a burst of new leaves. The balanced growth has resulted in a uniform canopy across the tent, ensuring equal access to light and airflow for all plants. Now, onto the buds. They have started to form, signifying the onset of the flowering phase. The intensifying fragrance is a constant reminder of the approaching harvest. 4/1/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Veg (Day 59 overall) Water Change Day!!! Water was really low it was just above the hump in the Res cutting it close to not having enough water in the system to keep it going. They drank a lot making it close going the full 14 days. I am still going with the previous grows and adding 36 Gallons but even looking at the root I think the SILICA is working and the roots are further along at this point than in previous grows. This next two weeks will watch how much they drink and how low my Res starts getting, and will make a decision on changing the water weekly from here on out or still keep on the plan of every other week until Week 4 of Flower. Might have to take my clones during the week this week, I am trying to wait until Saturday to hit week 8 but again they are getting all over the place and I need to trim some of the sides and lower areas. 4/4/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Veg (Day 62 overall) I decided to take my clones and clean up the lower half of the plants. I took 2 clones from each plant to go into the cloning machine. 4/5/2023 Week 7- Day 5 of Veg (Day 63 overall) Water Temp is sitting at 73. Right in my ideal range for my setup. Ideal range 70-74 My Temp Tent is my ideal zone75.6 Ideal for this grow 70-78 The lights are still waiting the switch to flower to get maxed out... The Humidity is coming in right at 60% I love it.. I took so much off yesterday I figure it was a good day to let them rest. 4/6/2023 Week 7- Day 6 of Veg (Day 64 overall) I needed to Defoliate some and I topped a little. The plants might force me to flip them soon. Next Wed is the 10 week mark half way through the 20 weeks. The net is Bingo... Which means that If/when the plants hit the net I will have to flip them. The Net is set to the max height that I can let them get based on the Breeders Stretch report 75%. 4/7/2023 Week 7- Day 7 of Veg (Day 65 overall) #3 is 22 inches Tall, #2 is 19 Inches Tall. Net is set at 24 inches. Net is also set as my Bingo point, if they hit the net then I have to flip no matter what to account for the Breeders recommended 75% Stretch allowance. I think I am going to have to flip right at the 10 week mark of the Competition which is Wed 12 Apr. I topped a little, I de-foliated a lot to start getting it ready for the anticipated Flip.

Morgens lasse ich das Wasser ab und lasse sie mit der Pfütze zurecht kommen, die noch drin bleibt, um etwas Trockenstress zu erzeugen. Die Wasserpumpen mit den Aeroponik-Düsen sind bereits aus, aber die Airpumps laufen noch. Ich warte noch ein wenig auf die Trichome, aber es wird vermutlich nicht mehr all zu lange dauern, bis ich sie ernte 😁👍 An Tag 78 habe ich angefangen zu ernten, wird wohl etwas dauern 😇 ... Tag 82... selbst die Schere hat zwischendurch versagt, aber davon lässt man sich ja nicht aufhalten. Es wird wohl noch ein paar Tage dauert, bis ich fertig bin.

Hey Cannafam, My gals had another wet week, each day has had showers although its not been solid and she has had time to dry out in between assisted by me going out to shake off water after each rainfall. However at the beginning of the week i found what suspect to be start of rot in one of her lower braches as a sugar leaf had died for no reason amoungst a bunch of healthy ones, so that bits had the chop. I also found a cocoon of some sort glueing to leaves together at the top of the plant and had to cut that out, the consistancy was of latex and i think it was a moths or buterfly. Needless to say ive been inspecting her dayly closley for any more issues. On the positive side of things shes holding up quite well currently, all bud sites are building even the bottom branches which were exposed last week are starting to fill out. Smell has increased again and this gal is absolutely honkin now. In terms of feeding shes just had one dose this week, there is a tiny bit of burn on some of her leaf tips and shes a light feeder. The weathers looking drier for next week so she should be catchin more rays and lovin life again. Thats all from me, thanx for stoppin by 😊💜💜💜

This plant is finally over. This was my very first plant in general and I went with DWC. The learning and experience I have got has been bountiful. This was not as easy as I figured to be but I have a huge appreciation now. --------Mistakes------------ I topped the plant twice super stunted snapped a main branch. Put it back together with tape it survived Took me 1 full month to figure out the nutrient ratio to provide got discouraged from the mistakes and neglected the plant for 3 weeks Had light burn while trying to figure out what light it can handle ---------Overall Results------- With this being my first run in a DWC I am happy with the results. I got 50grams overall of very sticky covered with trichomes larf that has a beautiful fruit loops aroma to her She smokes really good for what it is. She has small buds that aren't very dense and burns pretty fast because how leafy Taste great, gives a great high, smooth smoke through a Volcano With the grow and the overall way the plant has came out with this harvest I give myself a grade A lot of room to improve but with it being my first grow and the amount I learned overall I give myself a GRADE: C+ Was a great experience and I can't wait for what the future holds with my homegrown experience!! I've been a bit hands off this week again. The Black Jack and NYC started to get a little yellow at the bottom, so I could have probably started feeding more a couple of days earlier, but I didn't notice until I was ready to turn on the AutoPots. The reservoir was filled with 20l, and I can already see a growth spike starting. I'll probably top them all in the next few days and flip to flower shortly after.

Finally back to it!

Shes blowing up and is really throwing the trichomes! I'm super happy with the odor and shes very vigorous. She seems to be taking a little longer then her friend strawbwery gorilla. I expect to see her swell!!!! My apologies that I was late this week will double up on Thursday for you guys as these photos I took last Wednesday to put things into perspective. Chopped and I'll hang them in the he dry tent and keep it around 60rh/17c for as long as I can. 🤑 Update: got the tent at 15c/61rh and wow the buds have a different type of firmness than before. I can't wait... So far my best grow of the 3
