This past week has been rainy and overcast from a tropical storm with temperatures mostly in the upper 80s. We have Hurricane Erin approaching and ate under a tropical storm warning with wind gusts of 30-40 MPH. While we wonโt be directly hit by the storm, we will get the outer bands of heavy winds and rain. To protect my plants, I brought all the girls inside on Tuesday 19th in preps for the storm. I inspected each one for bugs, rot or anything unusual. I found what might be the start of bud rot in one spot and cut it off.
8/19 Auto Purple Hulk is 59 days from germination. MSNL says 60-75 days to harvest so it needs a week more. Next week with the hurricane approaching, we are expecting rain for most of the week. Given the bud rot I found and the pending weather conditions for the next couple of weeks, the remainder of the grow will be in the tent where I can control the environment. I also will be using the air conditioner to drop nighttime temperature. She is already purple but maybe the colors will intensify.

Sheโs a lovely girl just rewatched her growth sport zone and hoping in a few days she starts her pre stretch! I had to shuffle these girls around in order to suit lighting raises Iโll have to do for the purple punch! Lucky I have 3 adjustable lights ;) I think next week will be assured to be a sea of green so looking forward to training through the scrog! She hermied on us so this may be the last time we plant an unknown seed indoors, this set us back about 3 weeks. ..we plan on putting all of this plant towards edibles ..This wasn't a total waste imo..we learned a valuable lesson on taking unnecessary risks :)

Back on track today is Day 35. In the past I have fed lightly I dont like burnt tips but with the variety of strains in this grow with the co2 I bumped it up a little. Some strains like the Polar Vortex 6 are much more sensitive than some others so it was unavoidable. Other than the tips they are all doing pretty well. The Cherry kush mints in the 4x8 in my eyes is clearly a beast it had the shortest veg time and caught up to most of the big girls. Also its development has been impressive with a unique terp profile at this stage. The sleeper is the garlicane 5. I've grown most of these once or twice before but with the upgrades and the co2 that one has developed nicely and looks like it will put on some serious weight. The leaves continue to turn yellow from the bottom.
It seems that I started fertilizing too quickly and the tips of the leaves burned a little

This weeks focus is balancing ph of my homemade Texas Tea nutrient and creating the perfect โTropicalโ environment for my babies to thrive in. Incorporated Advanced nutrients up/down to assist with ph also helped lower the PPM. They are loving the vegetation box I built!

Business has been on fire lately so we haven't had any spare time for social media..a good problem to have but not so much for the plants. Thankfully these girls have been completely self-sufficient until now. We just started showing signs of magnesium defiency and will be giving both plants a full dose (5ml/gal) later this afternoon...they're not getting as much sun as we'd like but its the best we can do with our property layout..this will prob hurt our yield but it is what it is.. not too much else to report, we've been straight out with work for weeks lol..thanks as always for dropping by and happy harvests everyone!! โค๏ธ๐ฑ

She's looking gorgeous on her 3rd week it's just a wonderful strain to grow,let's see how she performs,I prepare a super soil mix using guanokalong organic dry amendments so I can't tell you about mililiters exactly because that's just not the way I like growing,I also add lactobacillus which are an awesome bacteria,every time I add lactobacillus to their water they just love it,the next day they get suuper green,obviously all the bacteria and humic acids from batguano worm castings and all of that helps,so I recomend if you're growing organic investigate a little about lactobacillus and how to prepare the lactobacillus liquid. She continued to do very well this week ๐.
On June 28th she was placed in the flowering tent, where she now has a light duration of 12/12 h.
I am very curious to see how it develops in bloom, and what a smell will end up blowing through the tent ๐.
She still has enough nutrients left, so I will probably only give Green House Powder Feeding again in 2-3 weeks :-). I wish you all a lot of fun with the diary, stay healthy ๐๐ป and let it grow ๐ฑ๐

Aug 24: biggest of the four plants this year, and seems to be doing fine.
Donโt take flash pics of photoperiods unless youโre immediately using a 730 nm light to put them into dark mode.
Aug 26: have been watering in the morning with warmed water and that seems to help. Small kettle takes a while to boil but 2 L in a 5 gallon pail will warm up pretty cold water left out overnight.
Lazy compost tea again today. Iโve held off for a couple weeks on the tea thinking that I didnโt want to over do N, but nowโs the time for a little tea tuneup.
Aug 27: all four plants look happier the day after another lazy compost tea. The yellow on the new growth has been pretty persistent on the Gelato throughout this grow, but sheโs notably greener today.
Now down to 14 h daylight, and still using the 730 nm far red light every night at dusk.
Aug 28: still growing taller.
Aug 30: this plant is get quite big for her intentionally smallish 5 gallon pot which will hopefully encourage her to finish faster.

2 of them got cut on day 66 the last one on day 69 but overall I couldnโt be happier with these babies they all put off some amazing buds & didnโt give me much trouble at all! This is by far my favorite auto of this grow & I will be doing another run with them! If you havnt already go get you some seeds from seedsman you wonโt be disappointed! Day 39 and all is well ๐
Except for some watering it's been pretty smooth I've done a little maintenance and manipulation of the canopy ๐
