After upping the nutrients last week and starting to use bloombastic i noticed my ec in the run off starting to rise. Was feeding at 1.8 but getting 2.0 out of two plants and 2.2 from another. Some of the tips have burnt but is very minor. also the slower growing cheese plant had some tips clawing down. so for the next feed i dropped the nutrients completely and just gave 5ml of bloombastic per 10 litres in phd water it had ec of 0.5. plants seem fine and back on feeding intake being 1.5 and run off around the same. i think the sweet spot for these is around 1.5/1.6 ec. Buds are fattening up nicely but the blue cheese is no where near as frosty as the cheese and the cheese has so many buds growing on it its amazing me especially after snapping the top half around week 4 defiantly my favourite baby

Lilly x White Widow is doing good. She has finished, and is ripening well. I am just a little past when I would like to cut her. I am waiting on space in Cannatrol. So I have to cycle them in to it in 8 day gaps. Her next update will be her Harvest. I did reduce the light strength on the Spider Farmer G5000/UVR40 lights to 60 percent. She is just riding out her time flushing to her cut date. La temperatura está entorno al 22/24 grados y la humedad anda sobre el 50%. Las plantas en si ya están bien sanas , la que está más verde es la que me cortó un poco en alimentar , pero por lo demás genial todo perfecto aquí. I didn't bother updating the diary last week as there was nothing going on really, just finished the 1st week of flushing and another week till harvest. Only big change going on is the hps and little viparspectra LEDs have been taken out and replaced by 2x invisible sun ISH265 quantum boards.

Advanced nutrients base grow a and b ARE NOT REAL because they are in grams and i cant put it that way in here. week 2 of veg was really when it was really touching the water with the roots, so the typical hydro explosive growth started. This week i runned out of silicio after using the last bit of the bottle. Soon as the plant reached over 10cm or so, i started training her with the "420autoflower bent coat hanger" method. Since i cutted the rockwool like a pacman (without removing volume but rather cutting that way to separate it and put the seedling.) i was able to almost lay over the whole plant from the beggining. This was a huge advantage and it gave me exactly a bushy structure i was looking for later on later weeks of veg. Only thing to worry is the plant not touching the rockwool but after that i try and bend it as much as posible.

So welcome to Week 9 of the Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl XL Autoflowering grow! Unfortunately after two years of due diligence- I was finally infected with Covid 19 so I have gotten really behind with this diary. In Week 7, I switched from the Grow to the Bloom fertilizer at a rate of 2.5 mls per gallon. I am still watering every 4th day at 3 litres per plant or 0.75 of a litre per day per plant. This strain seems particularly hungry/greedy so by the end of Week 7, I’ve decided to fertilize with every watering instead of every other. I’m not increasing the dosage of the fertilizer but the frequency in which it’s being given. Other than that the plants are doing fine through Weeks 7, 8 & 9 with the buds fattening up nicely, loads of wet to the touch resin and a super strong smell emanating from the tent even when it’s closed! That’s it for the past three weeks, Covid sucks and thank goodness harvest is just around the corner! Apologies for not offering up any further "mom’s tip of the week" but I’m just finishing up this diary for kicks at this point. Thanks.

Here we are with another exciting new product from Zamnesia, Gush Mintz. Remember that we are growing one plant worked with the techniques indicated and another left to grow without pruning to preserve its speed; in the previous/next diary you will find the other plant of the same strain. In this diary we find a plant worked with slightly different techniques, this time for a change and to be honest because I was doing a main lining and having broken a brunch I turned it into a plant with LST applied aggressively and the plant responded well, I also made a small break but it worked as an HST, to continue stressing I put some paper tape. Comparison is the salt of the experience, so the plant in the other diary will be treated very differently, go and see it to make a comparison. We started the Plagron fertilization program, we are in 100% organic configuration, the soil is made up of recycled Promix + 1/3 fresh soil + 10% Perlite + RQS Mycorrhizae Mix (4 g in the mix, 1 g under the small fiber pot). Nothing much to report, some tight buds are starting to form Week 4 day 4, the buds are definitely starting to take shape, and the trichomes are forming on the sugar leaves, pistils are still mostly light colored. I cant wait to watch these buds chunk up over the next few weeks.

Buds fattening up and pistols turning orange. Some floral, skunky, diesel smell but nothing crazy, which is nice. Looking at the trichomes at Day 45, 4 weeks before planned harvest, they are looking milky. Which is weird. Maybe I’m wrong?

Chopped day 75 one week earlier than i want because some problems. Easy for trimming, only few hours 😁

Hello everyone! I promised to track this grow very closely this time and ufortunately life got in the way. Here is a quick sumup of the grow. First of all- One of the sour stomper plants unfortunately didn't make it. It died at about week 4. The main stem somehow had rubbed/broken down. That's why it was falling down. It was almost like a mini beaver had chewed it off at the point where the stem touches the riot rooter. At first I thought nothing much of it, maybe it hasn't been rooted in quite well yet or something. And I was constantly touiching it when watering, that made it worse. Soo the leaves were dropping and the plant looked very weak. Then I decided cut thr rapid rooters top layer and found out the severity of the problem. Tried to tape it up and other things, but it was too late. At the end it appeared all good as the remaing plants got so big the I had some space issue so I wouldn't have been able to fit another plant in anyway. At that time I finally made my self-draining saucers. I took me a while and a lot of effort, but finally they were ready and working well. I also installed the self watering system and flowering was starting. Pretty soon I started noticing weird leaf symtoms. Brown spots, different kind. Some plants had it more, some less. Sour Stomper looked pretty good throughout the grow. Mango smiles seemed sensitive and Strawberry Nuggs were pretty strong until the end. The grow was basically me experimenting with the setup- changing watering schedules , changing ppm, ph and all that stuff to keep the leaves looking healthy and it was very hard I have to admit. Probably my hardest grow in that regard. But somehow, the bud leaves remained healthy and the buds really fattened up good. I got away with an amzing 700G dry bud harvest which was def a new record from one grow. And the bud quality is very good too! Next time definetly no more than 4 plants as they got pretty big and I thought it was a little overcrowded. I was doing some good defoliation too. I should have defolited strawberry nugs more tho. Sour Stomper got some amazing bud development from top to bottom because it was was growing next to strawberry nuggets which were really small most of the grow. They actually took the most time to harvest even longer than Mango smile. Mango smiles were ready quite early. Sour Stomper was just in time! I topped sour stomper and both Mangoi smiles, left SNs both normal. Looking back at it, the way I grow them, Should have topped SNs too. Would probably have more space in the middle and longer side branches. Probably wouldn't have been as bushy! I followed the full Terra aquatica feed chart until the end. I was supplementing with CalMag a lot as I thought the symptoms could have been from a CalMag deficiency as this was my first grow with RO water. Overall a very challenging but good grow at the end. First time no mold problems. A record breaking yield for me. Basically surpassed the upper limit for all plant probable harvest sizes. Got good smelling quality bud. Very happy overall and will continue experimenting with Mephisto beans in the future for sure! I guess what I like the most about Mephisto is how close to description the plant is, very stable genes in that regard. Next time I will also have to start feeding plants higher PPM feed faster at the very start. and during flowering. But still not 100% sure what caused the leaf symptoms.
