This a cutting from the same line of Gelato Cake. Its in its 2nd week, and has been pollinated in 3 places with Gelato cake, dosi punch and an unnamed Sativa so expecting seeds.by abundance

Graduated, and am off from work for a few weeks, so went overboard on photos. Plant is doing well, leaves are starting to turn yellow (strain trait). Can't wait for the harvest and being able legally gift my xmas ornaments to my cousins during our "cousins walk" at our family xmas party.

End of week 4 of flower and plants are looking good except for the one plant #2 which still has the copper coloured spots on quite a few leaves and purple stems as well, going to bump up the cal mag on next watering, was worried about fungus nats, only seeing a few now on yellow stickies, but thought maybe the larvae got to plant 2 so I added nematodes to all plants 2 days ago, can’t hurt right ? I WOuld really like to hear your thoughts and recommendations.

Lemon pie chose to pop up later than the others (2days) I won’t be topping any autos this run! I will be only low stress training until scrog and then I’ll high stress train if necessary! I’ve given the first feed today of biobizz (doing fastbuds organic the other 3 synthetic) my aim is to keep the veg period vigorous! As a great veg equals great bloom!

The plant started off good. Unfortunately the environment wasn't the best to begin with but overall I think with the deficiencies still present. It turned out okay. This was grown with just the standard grow micro bloom. Due to covid, I was unable to order additional macro nutrients. Yeilds suffered as a result but overall happy for my first grow.

4 Purple Push Pops PPP (grew 2023 outside). Clones from my clone guy. 1000w LED, 4G Autopots, coco/perlite 65/35, RO water, Jacks RO, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension. Garage grow SoCal We concluded the ripening this week with AC and dehumidification at 70° 40% relative humidity lights on and 65° and 45% relative humidity lights off. We’re feeding Jacks RO and silica to the end, hence the fan leaves are still relatively healthy. This is a no flush grow. I’ve n been growing at 80% lights (800w) for most of the Grow. During ripening, I pushed it to 90% or 900 W. On the final day, I run the lights 24 hours and I run 15 minute cycles of 900 W and 1000 W. Just following the science; No more flushing and push the lights higher and higher at the end. We started a slow chop to fine tune the quality and get more light deeper into the canopy. After 4 more days of testing and monitoring they were ready, it all came down and we filled the 6-tier drying rack. We’re curing At 70° and 55% relative humidity for two days and then bumping that humidity to 62%. The test round (top colas) is already in jars and beginning the burping stage. Fiancé is happy, the hard work is coming to an end, and it’s time to start enjoying the fruits of our labor. Best of luck on your grow.

I will be growing her again, as I feel like I let her down, by letting her PH drift so low.. Other than that, she grew beautifully, and fumes of potency as you gaze at her! She yielded more than I expected! She's not that far below my previously lowest yielding plant! :)

Finishing off the first week of flowering and watching the buds grow :) All strains seem to be happy with with 1L water with 12ml nutes 25/75 veg/bloom each, every other day. Missed the defoliating deadline in veg mode but have done some very light defoliation this week, I should do more I know and will once flowering is a bit more established. A bit more LST, again on the careful side. The next grow will get the full treatment :) Of course things were going too well, a couple of hours ago while I was working on climate stabilization contra running costs (I got my first power bill since grow start) I noticed 100's of very small ants all carrying eggs exiting the base of my Gorilla Glue's airpot. I had been trying to work out why she in general seemed a bit laggy. Now I might have the reason, grabbed the Neem as 1st defense and gave what I could see a good spray. For those that I couldn't see and were probably munching on the root system and tunneling through the medium I added 4 tablespoons of fresh coffee grounds and 6ml of Wood Vinegar (pyroligneous acid) to 1L water and gave the Glue a soaking. This all happened just before lights out so now hopefully by lights on the ants will be gone and the Glue will start to perk up. Yesterday I flipped the switches on the LEDS to include deep and IR light to the spectrum. All in all a good week I think, any tips and advice always welcome :) *Update Gorilla Glue is looking much better 12h after the treatment for the ant infestation. Coffee grounds and wood vinegar, natural, safe, effective and cheap as well. I have Cinnamon as well now, so I'm well prepared for any future ant invasions :)

Alright I've updated this postmortem and cure just to give an idea of what I was up to during the dry and cure weeks. This grow was a ton of work and I'm very please with the results. I learned a ton about soil and environment control and really feel like I'm gaining confidence and coming into my own as a cultivator. I've been playing a lot with ice water hash and rosin and have set some neat goals for the future like hunting ice water hash cultivars, going perpetual and expanding the amount of canopy I can work with by building a network of remote-operated satellite flower tents in friends' and family's abodes . Semana 8: La Grease Monkey está en modo bestia esta semana. Los cogollos han seguido engordando con fuerza y cada vez se ven más densos y cubiertos de resina. Las flores principales ya empiezan a tener ese aspecto compacto y brillante que promete potencia, mientras que las hojas cercanas están totalmente salpicadas de tricomas, como si las hubieran rociado con azúcar glas. La alimentación sigue basada en XpertNutrients, sin cambios drásticos. Solo he ajustado mínimamente las proporciones para no frenar el ritmo que lleva. El riego sigue afinado al detalle: lo justo para mantener activa la microbiota del sustrato y evitar saturaciones. Los Adlite continúan haciendo un trabajo brutal. La penetración lumínica está ayudando a que incluso los cogollos de las zonas medias e inferiores mantengan una buena densidad. Todo el dosel está funcionando como una unidad, lo que se traduce en una floración muy equilibrada. Las condiciones ambientales siguen bajo control: 22-25 °C de temperatura, y humedad en torno al 55%. Estoy reforzando la ventilación para prevenir cualquier susto ahora que los cogollos empiezan a cerrarse más. El aroma se está volviendo todavía más intenso: una mezcla cremosa, dulce y con ese fondo diésel que le da el toque agresivo típico de esta genética. Los tricomas siguen lechosos en su mayoría, con alguna señal de maduración incipiente, pero aún no es momento de pensar en tijeras. Crecimiento firme, flores con presencia y resina a punta pala… ¡Seguimos creciendo fuerte! 💪

Gave more Sucranat frying leaves and light burn. Finishing up Forbidden Runtz soon as she is chucky. Hoping she'll put on more weight, if not oh well. Sour Stomper is catching up and feeding more now. She's starting to fill out a bit. She's still 6 days behind her sis but doing alright.

At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. So this is the Tear Down week. The timing of it makes it so i will need to the harvest flag in a few days when I can weight and test the plants. I have included the Cleaning, and Cutting and some Root Porn. I will make the harvest post in about 4-5 days, when I can trim these plants. There is a lot of Plant here. I got way more than I was expecting. I don't have a scale that measure this amount of plant, without taking like 10 measurements and then adding them together. So I will just be posting the dry weight. I will post the wet weight as dry weight * 1.65. Autopots: Wow, what a great product. I have been blown away by how well and how easy it was to work with them. They really did solve the watering issues. Excellent product. If you are a beginner, start with Autopots. -= Lessons Learnt =- - Overdrive the air to your Autopots. In my control plant, I used a small rectangle air stone (instead of a standard air dome). This lead to root rot and some other issues, it also put significantly less air into the water. The root rot, give the material for the Brown Algae to grow. Using a huge Air-disc-Air-Stone would be an excellent combo to mix in with the air dome itself. Something like this: https://www.amazon.ca/Pawfly-Diffuser-Suction-Hydroponics-Aquarium/dp/B01MY3AQ33 at the bottom and the air-dome on top of it, will be what I do with my next experiment. - Air stone in the reservoir. I had two instances where algae grew into the res. An air stone would have helped. It would have also helped my control plant get less root rot. Given the amount that the air-domes and air sources got engulfed, having the water have more o2 in it would have only been beneficial. - Don't grow 6 plants in a 4x4. Since my control plant was about 1/8th the size of the others, I think I could have grown 5 in the shape of a 5 (on a 6 sided dice)⚄ This placement would give a much more spaced canopy for airflow and more importantly light. The sides of some of the plants were lighter green and produced larf due to lack of light penetration. - This tent was on 19-5 schedule. This worked out very well for this strain. After every lights on, they were in the praying position, so this strain was able to recover in that 5hrs off. If I had more seeds, I would run these again, and try 20-4. I think this strain could handle it. All for all, I think I'm going to 19-5 as my default timing. This kept up a solid DLI. - Staring at .9EC (really .7 EC cause my water here is .2 EC) Then bumping up at .1 a week, until 1.6EC worked out VERY well. I experimented on this crop all the way up to 1.9EC, which burnt the tips of this plant. I think if I did this strain again, I would do 1.6EC until 3-4 weeks left then crank it to 1.9. It did plump them up when I went to 1.9, however it left them looking rough. Bulk was added though. - Sticking to 6.0PH for all of veg, and 2 weeks into flower worked great. The plant had solid and consistent color and leaf shape . The plant's did get hurt, due to some issues (as noted on the weeks). I switched to 6.5 PH in the last 3-4 weeks and it helped them recover, and plump up noticeably. -VPD. The #1 thing I focused on was VPD. I keep it .9kpa range, as best as humanly possible. It was honestly, HUGELY noticeable compared to my other grows. I know truly understand the value of properly dialed in VPD. This is the one lesson that will stick with me forever. - Super-cropping: On the plants I give the chiropractic treatment too, had much thicker stems as much larger channel internally. I did this treatment to 4 of the 6, and the 4 that had it done has larger buds and recovered from defoliation faster. TLDR; VPD is king. Super-cropping is worth the time. Keeping PH and EC dialed in were all wins. Autopots kick ass.

Clones got transplanted into my organic recycled soil in solo cups and under the dome. Under 300w LED QB dimmed at 50% Watering with tap water. My live soil is packed with nutrient's and minerals so there’s no need to add nutes for now.
