At the beginning of this week, I have been fighting the gnats, which are less and less now. Just some watering and gradually lowering the light and going to full power. The Orange Hill Special has been filling out great and I must say, she is a pretty plant. With some manual bending and super cropping, I'm bending the longer stalks sideways and we are off. What I actually do is more of an intuitive hybrid between mainlining (where I bend the whole plant 90 degrees at the third week), LST (where I bend branches outward slightly, without tying), HST / Super crop (where I bend the stems 90 degrees with the clips or manually), after which I keep bending outward to SOG and, put the net over to end in SCROG. This same method gave me the canopy in my prize-winning Gelato 33 grow. Check it out if you haven't seen it, it was my first experimental accident that led to beta test of Super Soil mixture 0.7, now we are at Alpha version 1.00 and testing great so far if I say so myself. I haven't seen such lush greens in my own grows, only outdoor. They seem uber-healthy and resilient, with very sturdy stems and leaves. Way more resilient than previous strains I tested in the beta soil. The light is performing, the natural color of it makes everything pop. Mars Hydro has a winner with the SP-3000. Halfway through this week, I took the clips out, AND...... we switched them to go into flowering. After a day the stretch is already visible. I had to bend them again after a couple of days. Now we have almost a tent filling foundation for a maximum result canopy of buds. I was wanting to amend the soil with flowering additions (see recipe in yellow image), but I'm holding it off for two reasons. A/ The leaves are still so green and lush, I think there is an abundance of nutes. B/ @Haoss mentions his suspicions on his OHS grow (@#CannapediaProGrowersCup Orange Hill that very sadly went hermie on him) that nutrition in this phase could have had an influence, after asking what happened to him. I would have loved to see that grow to full harvest. But it makes me a bit cautious. if Haoss (whom I consider to be one of the star growers here) couldn't prevent this, what chance have I? I'm waiting until the girls start asking for nutrients. They'll show me what they need in their own time. For now this soil is the shizzle (also quite literally) and Im happy with how everything is going. I remember much more hassle and steering in the last grow. This grow, even the Gorilla runt seems happy. I now water them 3 liters of water / Perma tea mixture every 4 days, every 3rd watering I don't do the tea. This makes for fewer gnats and this soil seems to hold water nicely, also due to the hydro corn. What I like is there is always some unforeseen circumstance, a tilt of the tables, some battle to be fought which delivers in big harvests or, in worst case, no harvest at all. It makes it more exciting, when your heart is at stake, we pour a lot of love and attention in the ladies. So with hopes, but not too high, we go into flowering. Weekly update on these beautiful ladies. Did another defoliating this week as well as lollipopped them up another node. I feel it helps mature the lower flower sites and allows plenty of airflow though the leafs. I introduced bloom nutes as well as P&K. All in all Happy Growing

I have been checking them every other day now and this is the week they'll be 'going dark' before I chop and hang them to dry. 12/5- I'm continuing to flush all three with 2g of straight well water with NPK Yucca Extract added, which I then ph to 6.5 @ 68℉, twice daily for a total of 4g each day. The two purple pheno's are just breathtaking in looks and their aroma's! The #2 plant is a beautiful cultivar as well, just not purple, with several huge cola's having formed due to her being topped! 12/7- Today at 'lights out' I placed all three Tropicana Cookies in the dark for 72hrs. I moved them to a dedicated room that is totally dark and which I can keep control of the temperature, humidity and air circulation (same room I use for drying). For the 72hr dark period I keep the temp's between 60-65℉ at a RH of 40-45% with decent air circulation. 12/11- Today, all three of the FastBuds Tropicana Cookies were released from 'Dark Jail'. I actually let them go an additional day, for a total of 96hrs in the dark, and from the looks of them it didn't hurt them one bit! All three look absolutely fantastic and the aroma coming off of them is just incredible! 🤪🔥 Every plant is heavily frosted up and all have tightly stacked, dense flowers. After chopping, I'm going to hang each of them whole to try to extend their drying time as much as possible. My dedicated 'Drying Room' has no outside light and is maintained at 58-60℉ with a RH of 50-60%. I use a de-humidifier, humidifier and two fans in the room. One fan is for air circulation, the other brings in cold outside air and the humidifier/de-humidifier handle the RH. I'm shooting for a 10-12 day dry, but that can always change because we all know 'shit happens'! 😁 My next diary entry will be after these fine ladies are done drying, get trimmed up, weighed and jarred. This was just a temporary stage where I put the plants on a wilma to keep em watered n growing nicely while I built my table for them, not much went wrong this week.. the other little ens are in the little veg tent as well waiting to be potted up into there final home

Haven’t touched them much besides to look and check them out… fed them lotus nutrients for the last time today… (Week 7 of flowering). Both plants are Royal Runtz from RQS and have been grown and fed the same exact thing throughout the whole process…. The buds look crystally and healthy.. plant 1 has been having some issue which I’ve noticed the extremely light leaves but other than that she’s fed and buds are healthy so I don’t know… just gonna let her ride out..

Flowers are starting to stack, all at different rates due to different phenotypes. I've given up trying to feed them all according to their different needs, they react unpredictably. Some are hungry and eating their bottom leaves while others look to be overdosing on nitrogen. I am now applying standard doses of dilute fish mix and normal dose bio-bloom to all plants. I think it will probably be a staggered harvest. The sativa pheno is likely to take the longest, with the hybrid pheno being the quickest. Indica pheno somewhere in the middle.

Tuesday 30th . Flushing started today.

02.08.20 - Starts week 7 according to Seedsman this is a 75-day seed to maturity grow right at 11 weeks, I think we are on track but feel it will push 12 weeks, the stems are loaded with flowers and I am confident they will fell in to produce some very large nugs - exciting to say the least! So tomorrow I pick up my items needed to start brewing compost tea - will shoot a quick video of the process / then will feed with compost tea on Monday / this should carry the plants through harvest. 02.09.20 - Started up my Compost Tea today - Recipe: 2 Cups Worm Castings (Used a Paint Strainer Bag), 1 Tablespoon Kelp Extract, 1 Tablespoon Fish Extract, 2 Table Spoons Molasses, brew for 24/36 hours. 02.10.20 - Today just watered the plants with my first compost tea, it looked amazing, had a beautiful white protein foam on the top - I will have a look at the plant's first thing in the morning and see if they are dancing! 02.11.20 - Just a quick update - plants continue to grow big great genetics! 02.12.20 - Keeping it simple, light watering - temps are good - buds are getting larger - all in all thinngs are looking great!
