NYD#3 The pony tail backfired. The main is mangled. Despite small nodes, I started LST and watered at 6.3 including Fish Sh!t. Day 33 From Seed Did some research and found out the ponytail should only be used during the light cycle and removed for the dark period. I left it on, which caused the ugly. Lesson learned! Day34 Adjusted and added LST. Watered #2 at 6.5. #3 was still heavy, no water needed. Day 37 Watered, adjusted LST Day 39 From Seed Watered, adjusted LST. Found a bug that isn't a fungus gnats (NYD#3). Inspected both plants for more. Did a neem oil top drench and added Vicks Vapor Rub to the pot rims (bug deterrent). So raised light roughly 4 inches. Day 41 Light watering, adjusted LST ties, top drenched with Neem Oil. Added a few ounces of peroxide to the humidifier. They'll both need a top dress soon.

Beginning of week.. Wow she is stacking fast! Stretch has slowed.. may have even stopped.. I'm attepmting to water/feed daily instead of skipping a day every 2 days. After waiting 1 whole day without watering and the pot feels super light.. like if I waited too late into the second day that she would start showing stress.. rather keep her from even getting close to stress right now.. but she is fairly happy and doing magical things! I love this stuff! Next day... Just wanted to take a pic lol... she is doing INCREDIBLE things with these pistils, calyxes and trichomes and not showing any signs of slowing down.. amazing genetics for sure!... Almost mid week... I cant stop taking pics of this girl! So beautiful.. gonna be some FAT colas for sure.. she is still stacking.. but stacking very nicely! The smell, which is a bit too early to judge what the end product will be like, but smells very fruity with just a hint of skunk.. I can really smell the skunk when I first open the tent.. but rubbing the trichomes, I can smell alot of delicious fruity scents.. hard to pinpoint just one.. citrusy of course.. but man.. love this plant so far! A few banches I could hve lollipopped a couple nodes higher.. but even the bottom nugs I left are getting nice and fat! About halfway thru flower at this point.. very impressed with these genetics! Still have been able to water/feed daily now.. there may be some days that I may have to skip a day.. which SHOULDN'T be too stressful on her.. maybe more stressful on me if anything lol. Other than the overfeeding, she is loving life and doing magical things.. ive went down on some nutes already.. but as I mix nutes, they end up at 950 PPM.. so I have concluded that I should go ahead and just drop the micro down from 4 ml per gallon down to 3 ml per gallon.. leaving everything else rOuGhLy the same.. hoping it drops from 950 PPM to 850 or 900 PPM.. and thats with using 75% rainwater and 25% Brita filtered tap water.. which automatically brings the TDS of the water at 75 - 80 PPM.. just a little detail on how I water/feed... and also I use water, feed, water, feed, etc... not flushing.. just running 1 gallon of water/nutrients a day. I love growing in coco coir/perlite.. and fabric pots are awesome too!.. love love LOVE this shit!!! Mid week (1 day late.. whoops)... So I fed yesterday, just forgot to get some pics. She smells absolutely delicious at this point.. skunky but also very fruity, sweet.. citrusy.. such amazing genetics. It almost seems as if this pheno will look exactly like the pic ETHOS has for the Member Berry RBx1.. which he says all of his strains are +90% stable with pheno variations, for the most part.. but man.. beautiful plant.. these flowers are stacking hard and fast (that's what she said) but just.. wow.. now that Ive been using my PAR meter and have a better understanding of uMols and th footprint, and not overfeeding (not like I have been at 1000+ PPM.. but she is still showing some nute burn so that tells me that I WAS still overfeeding this girl.. but I believe I have cut back enough because the burnage isn't spreading much, if anymore at all.. I'm happy with the way things are going with this grow.. perfect runoff.. perfect PPFD.. shouldn't be anything short of fucking spectacular! End of week.. Went ahead and skipped watering today. Didnt want to.. had to.. but she should be fine by the AM.. I'll have to use 1 gal + 1 liter to make up for the lack of water in the medium.. other than that.. she is doing great! On to the next week!...

This week all the plants started to take off in flower. Buds swelling up by the day. Stopped feeding flower burst and added Pk9-18 and advanced meta boost to aid with flowering. Smell has started to increase but not to potent as of yet. EC also increased to 1.6 for increased demand in flower. Also stopped spraying IPM this week as it don't want it to effect the bud smell or taste come harvest.

This grow will be a very humbling experience being this is my first full grow from seedling to harvest and figured I would bring others along for this journey with me, hopefully some of you viewers may even have insight to any future problems I should have or run into. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song.
