The 3 THE PURPS plants from BC-BUD-DEPOT grew very nice and healthy. One of the plant turned totally purple in the leaves and in the bud during flowering, she was A BEAUTY! The buds were of average size and are not too dense, but sparkling with trichomes. The FLAVOR is OUTSTANDING...she is DELICIOUS! Her grape- jolly-rancher (=hard-candy) aroma transcends directly into her flavor when smoked. VERY SMOOTH and an ABSOLUTELY DELIGHT on the inhale and the exhale. The 3 plants harvested 156,2 gram dried bud, which is a nice average yield of 52 grams per plant.

Two low branch broke off due to wind and stem wasnt stong enough for weight of the buds....other than that just a handful or two of defoliation every two day or so....makes trimming ez lol

Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. D65: Tried taking some pictures with the macro lens. I'd say the majority of the trichromes are cloudy with some still clear and the occasional amber ones. Will keep track of the evolution. D70: Buds keep getting bigger, the main cola is starting to look like one big, consolidated bud. Trichromes remain mainly cloudy, with some still transparent and some amber ones. Also gave her a flush (10l), since I think she'll be ready for harvest in at most 2 weeks. Next watering, I might add molasses a last time. Smell is strong and really sweet, reminds me of vanilla a little.

The plant is thriving and has grown 50% larger compared to last week. Some of its leaves are now the size of a hand, which is surprising for me as it's my first experience growing a plant. I am hoping that it will start flowering next week. The main stem is thick and resembles a finger. The pH level is still high, but I have purchased a fan to improve ventilation during flowering. I am planning to support the next stage with easy boom, vitamins, and amino acids. There is a smell in the room, but I'm not sure if it's the expected smell or a mix with the box's fabric. I named the plant Gaza because I planted it on the day of the escalation of violence in occupied Palestinian territories, which then led to the recent developments of the conflict in the area.

All doing perfect not alot to say, defoliated on 18/1/21 and tied a few branches where I could to make a little more room. Maybe 3weeks then ripen +flush Daily updates

got hermies in flower week 2...tried to remove most but it seems they spread their love already....found seeds on all other plants :( plant still looked great and got a great yield!

Exciting first few days setting up everything in and around the propagator. I think I'll start counting the vegging days when the seedlings are 7-10 days old.

Beginning of week.. Still waiting on these damn pistils to finish up.. Trichomes are still looking pretty clear for the most part.. Plenty of milky but Id rather have a little amber starting and still seeing mostly milky/cloudy.. Not in it for the clear trichomes lol.. I prefer the couchlock effect more anyway. I have read that i stead of counting flower as the day of flipping to 12-12 because outdoor growers have to wait till they see flower starting.. Which can take up to 2 weeks after flipping to 12-12.. So I guess adding 2 more weeks to what I thought.. So.. Expert Seeds say the longest she could take is 64 days.. We are beginning week 7 of flower if we look at it that way then.. Which would mean that today is only day 49 or so... 63 days will be about 9 weeks of flower... Some shit like that.. Ugh. I should keep better track of the days lol. I could just do it by the weeks.. But I feel like this strain is already going way longer than she should have. I can tell the end product is WORTH THE WAIT for sure!!! .. Later that day.. Ok so I went ahead and mixed a batch of pH'd water with some General Hydroponics FloraNectar Fruit-N-Fusion.. 1qt of water with 2ml of the mix... I'm hoping to stop the yellowing from spreading to the buds at this point since I need to push her another 2 weeks, at least! Hopefully it will help the terpene profile also.. It smells like it should lol.. This stuff smells delicious.. I cant wait to see what it does when used throughout an entire flower cycle.. Not all stupid like I did this time lolol.. Just not trying to add anymore salt nutes.. Or any nitrogen I guess since its getting closer to harvest.. I wish I would have been using it the last 2 weeks at least.. Oh well.. Live and learn!.. Mid week.. Ive been still watering with Flora Nectar FruitNFusion in pH'd to 6.1 tap water during the day.. And just pH'd to 6.2 tap water that is left in the fridge to be able to water with cold water at lights out.. Not doing much to this strain.. But my other strain is turning super purple! Its so pretty! Im actually trying to create some feminized pollen from a cut from this plant. Its such a heavy yielder and super dank asf.. These nugs could break rocks lol.. Rock fucking hard.. Anyways.. Just waiting till she's ready to be harvested! End of week.. She has fattened up some this week. I should have never flushed so early lol. Live and learn tho.. Smells are lingering alot longer than they were before.. Now the whole house smells everytime I pic her up for watering and daily inspections lol.. She is slightly turning colors.. Reds.. Pinks.. Some purple.. Done with this week.. On to the next!...

Over all growth was outstanding on this plant. Huge props to Mephisto on a wonderful strain. Caked in frost. Super stinky! I had to pop more seeds of this strain of course! Terps exploding, even the lower larf is dense with superb resin production

Week 10! Because of the extreme heat of the last days the temps in my tent were peaking at around 38°C, so I decided to turn off the 200W CFL and keep the two 50W LEDs running. She is still doing well and will soon reach the end of her journey :)
