Second run with these genetics, I ran her last time in a 5.4 gallon container, I got the grape pheno, higher yield with the first run, but much tighter nugs with this run. This one smells much more earthy/gassey and less grapey. I ended up with just under 26 zips of nugs, 2 zips of Larf which I will turn into canna sugar, and my buddy made a 35 gram brick of bubble from the trim. It should be dry in the next few days and I'll post a video of the squeeze, hoping to get around a zip of rosin which I will split with him since he turned the bubble...Super excited to squeeze some nugs once the cure is done, Ill post vids of them as wel. Next run I'm planning to try and cram 2 plants inside a 5X5, build mainlines, and flip by week 6 or 7....Switching to two 315 W CMH bulbs up top, and LED's on 2 of the sidewalls for supplemental lighting. Day 43: Watered at 6.5 today. Girls looking pretty good other than a small amount of clawing on some leaves. Thinking I have the fan blasted on them too much. Backed it off a touch and we shall see. Also, my rust spots are starting to come back barely and I think I may up the nutes next go as they are hungry. Stacking up nicely though. Day 44: Busy, no update. Day 45: Girls looking frosty! Think I may have screwed the pooch on one of the girls. Got a little rough picking up the pots and may have snapped a main cola. In the uploaded video notice where its zoomed. Praying! 🙏 Day 46: Letting the girls dry out today. Will give em a thorough watering tomorrow. Not able to upload pics/vids currently. Day 47: No new updates. Day 48: The girls look great! 💪 Gave them a cleanse and just fed with CalMag and Sensizym. Looks like they are finished with the stretch and starting to build mass. Hoping for at least a couple huge colas! Day 49: Looking good. No new updates. I have been keeping a very close eye on the runoff PPM's as I am starting to have some rusty splotches on the leaves again. I have upped the CalMag to see if this helps as that is what it is looking like.

Day 71 I didn't label the plants so I don't know which is Sheryl or Candace anymore. I'm also not sure what I did different to have such varying results. One is thick, the other is not worth trimming. Based on camera zoom photos it looks like we're at 10% amber trichomes, which means it's likely the last week. Lesson: Label each plant, take better notes. I bottom watered 6.5ph 1tsp of Terp Tea Bloom in 15oz each. Possibly the last watering. I ordered a digital microscope so I can be sure on the trichomes. Day 72 Microscope came in. It's not great but it was $15 so... anyhow I could see that the chunky girl is ready with high amber trich count (30%) upper plant and about 10% in the lower buds. I put her in dark and will chop tomorrow. The skinny girl that pissed me off last week has about 5% amber trichomes so she got fed and watered. Additionally, she stacked up and put on some weight. Nothing too crazy but it's noticeable. I'll give her another week or two. By the time the chunky plant is done drying (HerbsNOW dryer) and in a jar, the skinny plant won't be skinny anymore and she'll be ready to come down.

12/06/2020 Pistils popping out every where! Looking like Spears

Welcome back all, following a week that has been a fairly straight forward seven days or so in Fat Yappa's Garden, as the older Bruce Banners reach day 51, day 44 for the runt of the sisters, planted on the same day but that took a week longer to germinate, and day 42 for the two Wedding Cheesecake's, one growing in Coco Coir, the other in the same living soil as her Bruce Banner Fastbuds cousins. The week began with last weeks humidity issues brought well and truly into hand with the addition of the new 20L dehumidifier from Meaco, specifically designed for the UK weather. However a shift in the aforementioned from the falls dawn of an early spring, to a return to more usual climate conditions for this time of year through things off kilter once again. Despite pulling around 6L of water out the air a day, she was struggling to keep the RH down to around 50% with my central heating returned to its usual position of 18c, but an increase to 20c has taken things back in line, and the humidity has returned to the mid 40's I was aiming for. Humidity concerns during this off period however, and a subsequent inspection below the top layer of the canopy, which resulted in the discovery of quite a lot of whitish, moist growth, prompted a mass defoliation, mostly of the Bruce Banners. I had been performing very light defoliation up until this point, only removing dead/almost dead leaves, and very select leaves from the top of the canopy that were blocking what looked like bud sites, but the lack of light and air getting through past the top layer, together with the fact that now bud sites are far clearer to a novice such as I, lead me to the conclusion that the time was right. Besides the runt, all these plants have not even skipped a beat. The runt has been a bit droopier in her leaves than the others all in all, but I have looked in on them and seen her with leaves pointing up and praying a few times since so I trust all is well. Following the defoliaton on day 47, the plants stuck to their two day watering schedule, but di threatened to need an increase to daily, as day 50 saw waterings a mere 24hrs after the previous day, but feeling the weight of the pots yesterday I elected to wait til 48 hours to water again. The water amounts per plant has also become more erratic than previously, so I have been watering more carefully. Other than that the week has been pretty much plain sailing, and what look like to be some big looking flowers coming up all over the canopy, as all bar the Wedding Cheesecake in living soil are now fully in flower, but she will be there by next week. The Bruce banner I accidentally snapped the top off from the second node down doing LST a few weeks ago seems to be about half a week ahead of the other two of the same age, and trichomes have began to appear on the leaves around the buds. The biggest plant in the tent is still the wedding Cheesecake in Coco coir, as she now stand a metre tall and her top is the same level as the light now. Her size is a concern because it has caused me to neglect her in favour of the other plants, certainly in terms of light, but she doesn't seem to have any more bud sites than the other plants, and for the time being at least, her older cousins are leaving her to shame in this department, but she still has a week to catch up. Lastly, day 39 saw another compost tea feeding, the same recipe as last time. Happy growing everyone, and I will catch you all again next week.

Three phenos are vigorous; one remains a smaller but healthy runt. Increased PPFD from 300 to 435 has improved leaf posture, node spacing, and overall vegetative growth. Humidity reduced to 65% to match increasing canopy density and airflow needs. I tied down branches on 3 of the 4 plants on 11/20 to open their structure and prepare them for the upcoming stretch. The smallest pheno—the runt—was left untouched to continue growing vertically. It’s still healthy, just not meeting the overall standard of the garden. I’m giving it one more week to show improvement before deciding whether it stays in the run or gets culled. Flip Decision After monitoring growth, root establishment, and canopy development, the decision has been made to flip to flower on 11/26. This will give the plants enough time to fully settle into their 5-gallon pots while still maintaining a 4–5 week vegetative cycle.

We moved her to another grow tent because the other strains were harvested but now she has her own personal light and she's doing well in her new room ☺️ a little frost on the leaves started

7/19: Started new nutrients today. Filled gallon jug with new nutes. Poured half of new nute mix in half gallon jug. Poured the entire half gallon jug into reservoir. 7/20: Bumped light intensity to 50% 7/21: Filled reservoir to the 2nd line today. Added a total of 1 gallon to res to get it to that line. Poured the rest of the mixed nutes for this week (half gallon) and then another half gallon of just plain water. 7/24: Bumped light intensity to 55% 7/25: Sadness today 😞.. While in the process of doing more LST today I accidentally snapped the main stem. I Panicked! Moved plant back in opposite direction to counteract the split. Will be monitoring very closely! 🙏🏾 ***** For this Grow****** “Day Air Temperature” will be the max temp of tent for the week. “Substrate Temperature” will be the average temp of tent for the week. “Night Air Temperature” will be the lowest temp of the tent for the week.

Very big plant, growing very well, nothing negative to report. Responding well to training. Responding well to fertilization too.

Updating of the diary was put on hold as had had some personal issues come up, still having to deal with them, so my priorities had been delegated but I will try to upload as regularly as poss.. How has everybody been!? Hope everyone is keeping well! Barry is doing fine. My diary says it's in one stage but if you took the time out to read this then, that simply wouldn't be true. Gelato #25 is in flush at the minute. Going to flush week by week and see how we get on. Looking frosty and the smell is amazeballs! :)

Buds are really coming on now. Stretch is slowing. Very happy with the new lights and fan. Not sure I'll do scrog next time as its hard to keep up with all the grow and pruning/defoliation required. Adjusted my lights to get everyone even coverage. Light meter would be nice at some point!
