Day 22: Drain EC 3 feet high and risin'😅( average 3.3 to be exact...) dunno how much whatever-salt is building up in that pots, but it obviuosly doesn't bother the ladies. Dark green colour, very few 'claws', no signs of tipp-burn, new foliage appears in a juicy green and turns dark in an instant, leafs point upwards....... looks like they're happy😊. Planns for this week: - Install the scrog-net - Obsereve plants/soil ( when do i have to feed nutrients again?) otherwise there will be no changes...... Thoughts: These bushy babies will be kind of a challlenge to create this scrog the way i'm used to (basically bending the 4 main main colas to the corners of the tent, upper branches to the walls and spaces between the pants, lower branches to the very center). Now these ladies make so many branches, so close togehter and so equal in length, underneath huge fanleafs..... i'd love to have them in a 100 square meter canna-crib....but in a tent...????? I really hate doin' things without having them planned - but in this case i guess i will have to install the net, start weaving and see what's happening😯 Day 23 Let's keep it positive...... indoor-climate of 64% rh is perfect for my health💪😁!!! ......but in my tent it's killing the vpd😖. at a lousy 24 degrees C, i'm readin' about 60-64 % rh wich results in about 0.7 to 0.8 kPa.* More figures? Here come the crazyones👻!: pH 5.5; EC 4.2😨 but thats only drain from plant 3....... average was 6.1/3.6 The girls busy produce roots, shoots and leafs....... still very green, still not unhealthy.......few claws, no tipp-burn. Basically a comfortable place to be: It's not bad yet - no work but watering - and it can only get better!!!😁 *VPD issue solved: The sensor hung too close to a fanleaf - didn‘t expect this thing beeing so sensitive 😅. Day 24 Climbed new hights this morning: Plant 1 had an EC of 3.8 - the others didn't climb any higher than yesterday. So maybe we've reached the climax..... 😇 Visible growth now - so i installed the scrog-net and will start bending and weaving these days:-) Thoughts: Did beeing out of VPD-range for one day harm my plants? How exact can my sensor measure VPD? after a bit of research i found out: Whatever you buy for less than 200 bucks is far from beeing exact! Even professional sensors have a margin of about +/- 1% in relative humidity. Thermometers at least +/- 0.5 degrees C. This could give some a good guess of the actual VPD BUT: Leaf-temperature-offset is absolute key! Many of our trusted homegrow-equippment isn't even able to measure it (some offer default temp-offset) ....don't wanna go further here - but there's no way to achieve something like a precise VPD-measurement in homegrowing. So why caring for VPD? Even with those less accurate instruments, you may be able to keep your plants in something like a comfort-zone. Way better than only guessing 👆!!! In case i ran a much higher VPD than planned, yesterday (due to a missplaced sensor) , it will not harm or kill my plants. they might have had a bit of stress from dry air - but nothing to worry about! Day 24: Decreasing salt-levels in the drain - excepting plant 4, wich had an EC of 4.0 - so i guess i'm slowly draining exess-salts from top to bottom and might have collected some build-up. The girls seem to be quite okay. Root-growth is vigorous (there are thick, white roots penetrating through the pots, everywhere), the stems are relatively thin. removed the LST-lines. the Sc.r.o.g: only materiels needed, were a climbing-net for gardening (HDPE) cut to 90x90 for my 1x1 tent, 4 cable-ties and 2 meters of strong rubber-cord. Pre-installed the net with the cable-ties, then weaved the cord around the outter cords of the net, led it aroud the posts and pulled tight. Then brought the net into it's final position. Not as sturdy as with a wooden frame - but i had less than half the work and a bit of freedom to move things if necessary. Any shoot will now be put to the next outter square (relative to the center of each plant) as soon as can be held by the net, without harming the top. Once i moved all of the dominant colas to the next square, i'll have to take 10-15cm steps (vertical growth), to reach the next square. As soon as i have about 70 of my 81 squares filled, i'm going to flip to 12/12. Since i'm plannin' to have them full of sugar when flippin', i don't expect too much of a stretch. This way i hopefully have the longest and strongest shoots framing the shorter ones in the center - so the canopy shapes like a bowl, in order to achieve the most even light distribution possible. Day 25: The main colas visibly reached out for the light - but yet i only moved 1 single shoot to the next square. Girls look good, EC is dropping slowly, climate fine. Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great weekend and happy father's day to all the dads. The Strawberry Banana is almost done stacking and almost heading to the ripening phase. I did raise her up on a 10 inch milk crate last week to ensure all plants have an even canopy. She is really starting to smell very strong, I definitely smell both strawberry and banana's on my fingers after working with her. currently have the Spectrum X running at 100% power and have upped the time on the UV/IR bars to 90 minutes just prior to lights off. I am super happy with this light so far, she puts out impressive PAR, and runs fairly cool. The only thing I would change is to have individual timers for the different spectrums. I did hear they sell a timer that does this but it does cost 0. Not much to do this week other than keep the reservoir full and in the correct PH range. The tomatoes outside are absolutely loving the runoff from these autos, as that is all they have had to drink since they were about 3 weeks old. The heat wave has just passed, after 15 days of hell no serious problems to report just some critter bites. Very high tolerance of heat. She's doing very well, in full stretching and according to RQS's data sheet now is the tallest among sisters. What a smell! Stay safe Bros

Still waiting for trichomes to turn all cloudy. Seems to be taking forever! Many leaves are yellowing now so she is close to the end for sure.

Last week I removed several leaves that dried out. Overall the plant is suffering from light exposure and now I have reached the maximum height for the lamp in the tent. The plant did not grow this week staying around 62cm. I found some roots on the surface and covered them with more soil. I have noticed no substantial changes in the buds and I am not sure whether the general dryness is affecting them. I have purchased a ph solution to tackle that issue hope not too late. I am still confident I to get a decent outcome in a couple of weeks.

Es wurde Zeit, das Wetter wurde ungemütlich, kalt und regnerisch. Die anderen Pflanzen hatten bereits Schimmel entwickelt und es war auch kein weiteres Blütenwachstum festzustellen. die Trichome sahen auch leicht angebräunt aus, Deshalb wurde geerntet und verarbeitet. Die Ernte der zweiten späten Pflanze war wesentlich geringer aber noch passabel.

Day 43 (Second Grow, Flowering Phase): Hey everyone! We’re well into day 43 of our second grow and deep into the flowering phase. 🌸 The transition has been amazing to witness, with our plants showing significant bud development. The plants are producing beautiful, dense buds, and it’s incredible to see the daily changes and the rapid development. We’ve been maintaining the humidity between 50-60%, but we’re keeping a close eye on it to prevent any issues. We’re considering whether to get a dehumidifier to bring it down to the ideal 40-50%. The SCROG net continues to work wonders, ensuring even light distribution and supporting the heavy buds. Our Timor shield mantis is still patrolling the garden, keeping pests at bay naturally. This week I bought some other plants to make sure my neighbourhood doesn't smell like weed when people walk by LOL. I would really recommend to buy plants like these. When I open the door to my balcony it now smells different, i don't know for how long since they are not in flowering stage yet, we shall see. Did some LST and defoliation like I do every week. Changed plant spots. This time I had to add more water to my feeding since it is getting hotter outside and my plants take up more because of having more roots and needs.

Vegetative Woche 3: Tag 29 gab es das erste LST nach dem Umtopfen für die Ladys, damit sie das Zelt bald schön ausfüllen zu viert 😊 Hierfür einfach bodenhaken für die Triebe und am Hauptstamm nutze ich gerne die roten Clips. Tag 30+31 gab es nichts besonderes zu tun 😊 Tag 32 wurde das erste Mal gegossen nach dem Umtopfen mit 2l ph 6.2 Wasser mit 0,8g/l Enhancer, das Wasser habe ich zum ersten Mal mit meiner neuen Akkugießlanze verteilt und ich hoffe so noch gleichmäßiger gießen zu können 😊 Tag 33 wurden wieder mit LST gearbeitet und die Triebe mit den Bodenhaken weiter nach außen gebogen, damit ich möglichst bald ein relativ gleichmäßiges Blätterdach habe welches die gesamte Grundfläche des Zeltes ausfüllt. Tag 34 war wieder Ruhetag Tag 35 wurde wieder gegossen und zwar wieder mit 2l pro Pflanze mit ph Wert von 6.2 und 1ml/l Calmag und auch hier wurde zum Gießen di Akkulanze verwendet. Hi Gromie's & a Happy New Year to all in advance👍 A BIG shout out & thanks to Fast Buds as I just received my prize for November diary of the month competition. Great customer service in both my dealings with fast buds their products have arrived on day 13 to 14 through air freight & customs to Oz! The girls are going great buds really stacking on size, smell getting very strong, super sticky. Gave them a good defoliation last night removing all the bigger shade leaves covering bud sites & touching. They were quite bushy & needed it , lolliepoped any sucker buds all the smaller secondary side shoots I've removed everything except top buds so to they get all the energy. Some trichomes all ready going cloudy & a couple of amber's as well. Since I'm only using 1 side of the new 4x8 at the moment, I've hung some myar sheet up in th e middle to stop light loss to the other side & shin back onto plants.👍

Them issues with the haze xl really upset me wate of tome effort and money so im not impressed with 1st impressions of sweetseeds im sorry but we have to be honest im this community would you not agree but on the plus all my fastbuds 100% success

Nothing new to report she's building her flowers , nice and steady do far seems u just need to take things slowly with autos compared to photoperiod. Being the first try at this its been a good learning experience with hopefully some nice buds at the end of the grow as we all hope .. Real curious to see how they fill out in the next coming weeks/days ..

She grows up fast and eats well. I think she's probably starting to lack micronutrients tip that starts to yellow. 😐

The strain is a easily maintained but yet very durable plant to grow from nutrient deficiency, climate to even pests. A recommended strain if you are looking for a nice smooth smoke that's a hard hitter and a lasting effect

10/24/24 Short facts: - Continued with LST - Watered: 1 x 1.2L, 1 x 1L, 1 x 0.8L — 3L - VPD @ 1.0 — raised by 0.1 - Light @ 70% ~580 to 720 PPFD - Defoliation - Nutrients increased and added: BioBizz Top-Max and Bio-Bloom - No Root-Juice anymore --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don’t know what happened, but my pictures are not very good this week. It’s probably time to buy a good camera, maybe a used one with a decent lens. I defoliated the Lemon Cherry Cookies this week. I had to remove some leaves so that the branches and their tops could get direct light. But honestly, she looked pretty bad afterward. I really don’t like cutting off branches or leaves; it hurts me to see them like that. Sadly, I accidentally cut one of the better branches in half, which was really devastating. On that occasion, I also did a bit more LST, but that was the only session this week. There probably won’t be much more LST to do in the upcoming weeks. I increased the light intensity and also upped the nutrients. The LCC (short for Lemon Cherry Cookies) is the smallest plant in the tent and has fewer branches than the others. She also doesn’t use much water. But it was incredible to see how fast she went into flower, it basically happened from one day to the next. Her buds are the biggest and prettiest in the tent. Because she was the smallest plant, I put something under her pot on Day 28 to ensure she had the same distance to the light as the other two plants.
