Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. The week is starting werry nicely. They keep growing, I think I didn't over or under water them. 9th day I'm starting to get the little conclusion, all the plants which are watered with Green Planet nutrients are looking a little bit bigger than their RQS rivals (when they were in the same day) Well anyways I think it's way to fast to make any conclusions. 2 days ago BlackBerry was bigger than Gg now I think it's the opposite so I won't make any conclusions before I'll smoke from both sides ;) Well its Thursday today, this Saturday I'll go to a local growshop to buy some more coco and 2 more pots so they have to wait 2 days more :) /edit. I decided to count only the days of first 3 ladies, other plants are like 4 or 5 or 6 days behind the first ones.

Experimenting with extended light source after sun down…solar powered lights. The goal is to prolong the veg and so far it’s working no signs of pre flowering.

:) Day 88: took some buds from her today actually! I have no smoke 😆 but she tasted decent even from a microwave fast dry, not even a little bit of hay just like weed with some undertones. Very wei😂😂😂😂

Week 9 is here and we are looking at harvesting! After checking the trichomes of just the top colas, I decided this week I was going to harvest. I am updating this post after I have dried and harvested the plant so do not have much more details. I flushed the plant this week with Flora Kleen along with terpinator and microbes. I cut down the plants and hung them up in the tent to dry using a clothes hanger with clips I got off of Amazon. It took 10 days to dry the bud and my temps and humidity would fluctuate throughout the day and night. I stayed in the mid to low 70s for temperature and humidity was at 50% at first. Then I added a humidifier and had it dry in 60% humidity. Will update the rest in the harvest update.

I believe my plants are finally getting acclimated to the medium and recovering from transplant shock. New growth is looking much healthier. Just as a preventative measure, I picked up some Botanicare Hydroguard to use in an attempt to supplement the roots and bring the pH of the soil down to where I want it. Personally, the pH remains just a tad too high for my liking this week. I would like it more in the range of 5.7-6.5 but I'll give it a week or so to see the reaction to the Hydroguard. I've continued with more LST on all but the Glookies #2. On this plant I simply did a topping. It was a risk, considering the plants isn't vibrantly healthy, but I need to maintain it's height. I also did a second topping to the American Pie #1. As can be observed from the photos, not all of the plants were shaped the same way. I got creative with the fabric pots and I decided to LST a few plants a little bit differently just to see which technique/style I liked the most. So far, I am digging the way the Jelly Bananen #1/#2 and American Pie #2 are shaping up. They are going to have a beautiful, wide canopy when they head into flower. I'm considering transplanting into 5 gallon fabric pots within the next week or two so I can flip them to flower two weeks later. My intuition is telling me this has been a pretty lengthy vegetative stage, thus far. I'm expecting all of my plants to double in size during the flowering stage, which should be anywhere between 65-70 days long. I made sure to select strains with similar flowering times (60-70 days). This was my first outdoor autoflower experience. Very happy with the results. Buds could have had a better taste in my opinion but that is just preference.

Have had some challenges this week. In my lack of experience, I have struggle to discern whether my plant is deficient in nutrients, suffering lockout or approaching harvest. Symptoms were yellowing leaves... The cause of which can be, of course, many different things. I decided to flush last week, thinking that a nutrient lockout was most likely. Leaves less yellow this week so think it may have done the trick. I have spent some time researching and considering flushing as a technique to improve final bud quality. I have decided that there simply isn't enough evidence to deny my girl of nutrients at a critical phase of her growth. I am therefore continuing a reduced feeding schedule of - 1mls topmax - 2mls BioBloom - 1 scoop biosys ecothrive - 2.5mls Cannazym. And, unless indicated otherwise, will continue with this schedule up until harvest. Today I have tested PPM of the run off and measure it to be approx 1050ppm. I will measure again in 24 hours to monitor change after a feed. Purchased a 60x microscope and am able to see that 90% of trichomes are still clear. I am therefore anticipating at least another couple of weeks before harvest. Buds look fluffier than I'd like, but resin and trichome production haven't disappointed. I'm hoping that over the next few weeks the buds will continue to fatten. 19/11/2021 - Day 79. Have a few days off so have managed to catch some photos in day light. Have also uploaded a video. Feel that she isn't particularly happy... But on the other hand, she is showing the resistance and ability to adapt to less than ideal growing conditions; as promised by the strain genetics. Plenty of trichs, plenty of resin, plenty of buds. Just need them to fatten and fill out for maximum yield and quality. 23/11/21 - Day 83 - Still some deficiencies but she doesn't seem to be using much water so reluctant to feed at risk of overwatering. Noticing lots of new pistil formation. Looking frosty, but all trichomes still clear. Temperatures dropping to around 2°c overnight here. Managing to maintain temperatures around 10°c in the shed. Appreciate that this is too cold for growth but she seems to be coping with it well. I think that a gradual reduction in temperature has been tolerated better than fluctuant or sudden drops would be. Fingers crossed that her hardy nature keeps her strong. Fed today: 1mls BioBloom 2mls Topmax Half scoop Biosys Ecothrive Filtered water - pH 6.5, TDS 320 Run off 953 TDS 29/11/21 - Day 90 - no sign of any amber yet. Still mostly clear with a splattering of cloudy. Really worrying about the night time temps now and holding out hope that it doesn't die off before the trichomes mature.

When I started the week of drying, I smelled the intense sheet cake and cherry from the flowers, it didn't surprise that he named it the je cheesecake.

18/06: Week 5 – early bloom stage confirmed! 🌱➡️🌸 We're entering week 5 with EC 1.6 and pH 5.8. The very first white pistils have emerged, confirming the transition into early flowering. The recent vertical surge was likely boosted by Far-Red and IR spectrum effects, along with enhanced metabolism from the CO₂ generator. From here, the plants will start shifting energy from stretch to flower production. Environmental control (especially RH and VPD) is now crucial to avoid early bloom issues. LST is being finalized as structure sets in. 21/06: We're now at day 31 since germination, and the flowering phase is clearly underway. Based on the canopy photo, the plants are thriving: a lush, uniform green with no signs of nutrient stress. Buds are starting to stack up nicely, and the foliage remains sturdy and intact. EC has been bumped up to 1.8 this week to support early bloom demands — especially for phosphorus and potassium — and the plants are handling it smoothly. No burnt tips or discoloration, indicating stable nutrient uptake. With environmental parameters dialed in through the GGS controller, everything's in sync. Onward to some serious bud building. 22/06: Stretch is in full swing — the girls are reaching hard, and I’ve had to raise the lights multiple times over the last few days. They’re now hovering just 10 cm above the canopy, delivering 1200 PPFD at 38 °C. We're truly pushing the physiological limit here. Dropping the lights any closer isn’t an option — cooling is maxed out, and more intensity = more heat. The only adjustable variable left would be CO₂ reduction, which I’d rather avoid at this stage. So far, no visible stress signs, but I’m watching them closely. Water uptake is intense — 100L in just 5 days. I refilled today (rather than a full res change) to prevent air pocket formation. Slightly bumped up the EC to temper the stretch. If things keep going vertical, some LST may soon be necessary — a few tops are practically kissing the diodes.

I'm back! Almost gave up on these ladies but the genetics from Speedrun Seeds pulled through. They just patiently waited until I got the root issues figured out then proceeded to blow up. Floraflex Rootdrip saved roots without a doubt. I'll never run DWC without it again. Today was day 110. No idea what to expect for a dry weight just glad to be at my first harvest!

4 weeks in and all is looking stellar! The stacking on the BHB is stunning, while the Cheese is producing some respectable clusters and the OJ is defining up top and needs a bit of a clean underneath. All the others are producing from top to bottom so as long as light penetration is adequate, I'll let them go. BHB#1 has a most interesting aroma and I'm impatient to see her develop!
