Application in the early morning or late evening can improve absorption and prevent leaf burn. The plant was getting a little limey yellow in the centre. Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. One more week of veg and we will be flipping the lights to 12/12. The blueberry pie is starting to put out a nice smell. I've topped this plant along with a bunch of defoliation. The structure for this plant is perfect. I was thinking about putting up a trellis but I decided not to in the end. It would make it very difficult for me to get to the 2 back plants. I need more room in my basement! Haha we will flip next week and start increasing nutrient solution for flower. Can't wait to see the bud structure on these nts.

They are growing coots fast! I moved the smaller non-viable plants outside since it’s warm, but they haven’t done much. Think it’s time to say goodbye to those :( I’m just happy with the 5 plants I have now. I’m sure they will all yield nicely!

Maintains moisture with spray bottle and watering less than a 1/4 cup every few days starting 12/18. Cream Cheese with humidity dome germinated but didn’t root, reburied and now have 100% direct sow sprouts.

De groeiperiode heeft ze doorgebracht op de vensterbank in de volle zon achter het raam(vegetation). Toen ze wat groter werd en de bloemetjes uitkwamen heb ik haar in de tent geplaatst onder een ledlamp van 600 watt van aliexpress, omdat het de laatste weken voornamelijk bewolkt was. De LST heeft haar geen kwaad gedaan, ze reageerde goed op het buigen en trekken. Ik heb haar verwend met de producten van Plagron en Spa Reine mineraalwater (PH6). Omdat ik haar in een air-pot van 38 liter heb geplant had ik verwacht dat ze een veel groter wortelstelsel zou hebben, maar dit is niet het geval zoals je kan zien in het filmpje. Dit was mijn eerste grow en ben super tevreden met het eindresultaat. Heb haar geknipt en opgehangen en wanneer alles droog is zal ik dit verslag voltooien. Ben zeer benieuwd naar de smaak. Wordt vervolgd... tot snel. 18 juli | de ganja van de lijn afgehaald, dikke takken weggeknipt en gewogen. 61 gram ben ik zeer tevreden mee🙂 Zojuist de eerste joint gerookt, de smaak is zoals je van Northern Light mag verwachten echt klassiek old school, kruidig, aardeachtig en het effect is op de bank hangend voor je uit staren. Day 64. Ph water to the finish now. They ain’t the prettiest looking that’s for sure. Trichomes slowly to turn cloudy. Orange haze will be first to chop, I’m thinking another 3-5 days Berry cotton & cheese still white pistils, let them buds swell a little more. 7-10 days left I would imagine. Finish line in sight Day 66. Orange haze has now had its last feed of ph water. Will chop once pot is dry around day 68/69.

Another week down and things just keep getting better and better with this one. Big fat buds laced in resin and the smell is soooo good and strong! Very strawberry-like with a ton of gas that my carbon filter is doing a poor job of covering up. Oh well, smells good. :) I will start flushing about mid way through its growing week and then chop shortly after. It’s getting so close to finished I’m just waiting for more amber. I’m mostly cloudy right now.
