GMO Cookies — Week 11 (Flower) “Served with Extra Curiosity” This week wasn’t about doing more. It was about seeing more. And sometimes… that changes everything. ⸻ 🔬 Photo Stacking — What it is & why now This update goes deeper than usual. We explored focus stacking (photo stacking) — a technique where multiple images, each focused at a different depth, are merged into one ultra-detailed image. * 20–25 frames → standard macro depth * 80–100+ → high detail * 200+ frames → extreme resolution, full structure visibility Why now? Because this is the phase where: ➡️ Structure is set ➡️ Growth slows down ➡️ Detail becomes everything There’s less to do… and more to observe, understand, and appreciate. We’re no longer just growing. We’re studying. ⸻ 🌱 Quick Recap — How did we get here 12/12 from seed. No traditional veg phase. Plants shaped themselves under flowering conditions from day one. What we see now is the result of: * Early root establishment * Stable environment * Consistent feeding * Minimal interference No chasing. No forcing. Just letting the plant express. ⸻ 🌿 The Room — Stability over control Conditions remain intentionally consistent: * Temp: ~26°C day / 18°C night * RH: ~60% * pH: ~6.5 * EC: ~2.0 * CO₂: ~1000 ppm Everything is guided by plant feedback (leaf EPD) — not by rigid charts. At this stage, stability matters more than perfection. ⸻ 💧 Nutrition — Supporting, not pushing Current feeding: * Terra Bloom * Pure Zym * Sugar Royal * Power Buds * Green Sensation * CalMag Pro Balanced, consistent, predictable. We’re not trying to “boost” anymore — we’re maintaining the conditions for proper finishing. ⸻ ❄️ Trichomes — The real story This is where the stacking work pays off. With the naked eye, we see frost. With macro stacking, we see architecture. * Trichome heads forming and swelling * Density across sugar leaves and calyxes * Early signs of maturity variation within the same bud Not all trichomes develop at the same speed — and now we can actually see that clearly. This is where observation becomes knowledge. ⸻ 🌸 Bud Development & Stacking The plants are doing exactly what they should now: * Vertical growth has stopped * Bud stacking continues steadily * Density increasing day by day No explosive changes — just refinement and consolidation. This is the quiet phase… but it’s one of the most important ones. ⸻ 🎥 Studio Work & Branch Sacrifice We took a branch to the studio for detailed work. Was it a sacrifice? Yes. Was it worth it? Absolutely. That branch gave us: * High-level macro insight * Controlled lighting shots * Focus-stacked visuals that reveal what’s usually hidden Sometimes, giving a little… gives a lot back. ⸻ 🧠 Why macro now? Because this is the phase where: ➡️ Doing less = doing more ➡️ Interference can do more harm than good ➡️ Observation becomes the main tool Macro photography allows us to: * Study ripening progression * Understand resin development * Train the eye for future harvest timing It’s not just content. It’s education. ⸻ 🔮 What to expect next week * Continued trichome swelling * Increased bud density * More visible ripening signals (pistil changes, trichome shifts) * Subtle but important daily progress We’re entering the decision-making window soon. ⸻ ⚠️ What NOT to expect * No more vertical growth * No drastic structural changes * No need for heavy intervention At this point, less input = better outcome. ⸻ 🙏 Final Words To everyone walking this journey with us: * The OGs who’ve been here since day one * The new eyes just discovering the process * The skeptics — always part of the balance * The silent supporters * The platform hosting this space * The sponsors and partners * The genetics behind these expressions And the plants themselves… This week wasn’t about growing bigger. It was about seeing deeper. As always, this is shared for educational purposes, aiming to spread understanding and appreciation for this plant. Let’s celebrate it responsibly and continue to learn and grow together. With true love comes happiness. Always believe in yourself, and always do things expecting nothing and with an open heart. Be a giver, and the universe will give back in ways you could never imagine. 💚 Growers love to all 💚 📸 P.S. – The Eye Behind the Lens All photos in this diary (for now — except for the ones showing the camera, which I took with an iPhone) are taken with a Sony A6700 paired with a Sony full-frame macro lens and a few more. Photography is part of the story — it’s how we share the fine textures, the glow, and the quiet details that words can’t always capture. I’ve also started experimenting with photo stacking — a technique where multiple images, each taken at a slightly different focus point, are layered together to create one perfectly sharp image from front to back. It’s not digital enhancement or AI; it’s pure photography — a way to reveal the plant’s beauty in microscopic depth, from trichome to petal. You’ll even see a few shots of "ghost me" capturing the shots — camera, lens, setup — because every grow deserves not just to be cultivated, but documented like art. - Day 38 Another watering day today! Gave her 1.25L of water containing bio-bloom, top-max, bio-heaven, acti-vera & alg-a-mic. I skipped bio-grow this time as some of the lower plant tips have become darker green and the tips starting twisting downards. I will stick to just 1ml/L next feedings. I'm religiously moving the LST stakes and adding new clips to allow more and more nodes to receive direct light in hopes that they as many as possible nodes become strong flowering sites. I'm not sure if constant adjustments like that will stunt the plant, but she seems to be doing good for now 🙏 Day 39 She still looking happy for now! I am loving see all the new nodes popup from the intensive LST'ing that I am doing, it's becoming an addiction almost 😝. I catch myself wanting to just check for 5 minutes how she's doing and I'll end up adjusting the stakes and clips for almost an hour every day. Day 41 Starting to really smell her now, so yummy! starting to get to the point that I barely have to adjust the LST'ing now as the branches are settling. Today was also another watering day. I upped the volume to 2 liters now (silica force, calmag, bio-grow, bio-bloom, top-max, alg-a-mic, acti-vera & bio-heaven) Day 42 Just letting her go now and doing minimal leaf tucking when needed. Loving the way she looks so bushy from the top. Day 43 Not much to report, she seems to be doing very good for now, just doing minor defoliation and leaf tucking for airflow and node lighting.

Day 35 flowering: Hi all , I hope we are all healthy , sane , and loved in our worlds. It has been another productive week for the two ladies sat basking in the Viparspectra sunshine. The temps in the UK have been low the last few weeks so they can settle into a less hostile heat zone. They are continuing to use those reds and infrared to their advantage with building some.nice long colas among both plants. The lights penetration is really good so they are having no issues with lower bud growth at all so far. The Northern lights has really begun to cola stack now with approx 8 mains that ade swelling by the day. She looks like she could be a very nice yield based on those alone. Fingers crossed she keeps swelling. Her buds and pistils are crystal white at the moment with no signs of ageing so she is in her freshest state of flowering right now . This is a good sign of a longer possible flowering period than the 8 weeks usual. The Grandaddys mimosa is more advanced on her ripening with quite a few orange pistils ( dying off) being replaced by fresh ,white , vibrant ones ( new pollen catchers). She has a good covering of orange hairs already for her flowering stage and could be a very early 7 week harvest possibly. She is nowhere near as big as the Northern lights and is being elevated to keep her in the canopy but she has approx 10 mains that are looking shaggy and with a high leaf ratio too. She is starting to have a nice fruity tang to her smell now when watered or handled. She could ⁹ me by swelling up huge in the next couple of weeks but I wont be too worried if not. The light is performing really well and has done Viparspectra justice too. I am genuinely shocked at how capable it is for its size. The other strains are doing very well too with the Gorilla cookies looking very bud productive and big. They got an amazing start into flowering from the xs1500 and I wish they were under the new offering from their range but I am hoping to twist their arms into letting me try a couple of xs 4000's from showing how well we can use this light. Lol we can but hope..... Be safe well growmies

A settimana prossima. Grazie dei commenti e like ❤️👊

Been another smooth week. A few of the plants are starting to show signs that they are moving towards to finish line. Seeing some swelling, pistils starting to brown, and some beautiful purples coming out in some of the buds. Been debating on giving them a dose of dry koolbloom, but I will probably just keep them running on the maxibloom until flush since they look pretty happy. Thos candy cane is popping up a lot of deep purple tones but I'm not really liking the lack of swelling in the calyxes at this point. She has a nice sweet candy aroma, but I am thinking she will be the loser of this grow when judging bag appeal alone. Hoping she puffs up over the next week or so.
