Dec. 6- Finally got them into a tent! Theyre looking really good after defoliation. Lush green, still has some burnt tips but the new growth is looking ok and its growing fine so i wont stress. Waited to 6 days to water again and she seems to be liking less water and less nutes. Same amount as last time When i had the tent at around 45-50% power the temp was 69-70 and ive turned the lights up about 80% and temp is bouncing around a from 78-79. 48-52% humidity during the day 42-46% at night i should be able to maintain that in the next few days. Ive read that you dont really want them to get higher than 70 when theyre in flower but but they havent showing any pistols yet so im assuming i have some more time. Theyre looking great so i high hopes! Dec. 7- Loving the tent. Shes filling in nice already Lush green, she looks taller but my tape measure says she isnt. Shes showing some bud sites so im relieved shes showing some progress Opened a window and put the drivers out the tent to help with the heat issue. Seemed to help Temp avg. is around 73-75 during day time 67 steady at night. Hopefully i can maintain that because its the close im gonna get to perfect temps until i get the inline.

DAY 49 Ive runned into some problems with different deficiencies but im trying to correct it.. otherwise the buds are becoming bigger and alot more crystals are beginning to come.. i think most of them have atleast 4 weeks before harvest, but maybe i will take some down before that.. Its really crowded, but im hoping to get a week with big buds now, cause they are not that big all of them. Day52 Switched LED lights to a more red spectrum and switched from dualspectrum on the HPS to Superbloom hps instead for the last weeks.. I started flushing two of them so i can give more room to the others Peace out and remember to see the video :D

Another week for this SOG of Auto's from our friends fastbuds, at the moment they are doing great, i do notice that some genetics required less food than others (they all got the same amount but some showed signs of N toxicity last weeks) At the moment we noticed the stretch and we needed to put the lamp higher, we are growing with a TS1000 at the moment and things are looking good 😊

1/20/2023- So much to do pre grow and over the next 16 days, absolute first order of business is that I have to take down my current Grow---TIMBER-- Then I have a list of things I have to get done in order to be ready to start this grow 1 Feb. With that said T - 2 days until start 48 hour Flush T - 2 days until Start 48 hours of Light T - 4 days until TIMBER!!! Items that need to be done before 1 Feb 2023 1. I need to clean the tent out 2. I need to clean the equipment- Proper Sanitization between grows in Hydro is a must!!! 3. I need to get the hole in the ceiling above my tent repaired- For my last grow I had a deep sink installed in my grow room, to make Hydroponics a little bit easier and have a water source in the same room. The seals on the pipes they were installing broke and leaked through the ceiling causing some damage all the way across my grow room, I was already weeks into my grow and couldn't risk them working above my tent and it would have been very awkward positon for them to be working in as well, so have to get this done quickly between chop and germination. 4. I have to install my new light- I was using a Vivosun 4000 and for this grow I am switching up to a Spider-farmer SF 7000. 1/20/23- For this upcoming grow I am working with M/F photo seeds so I ordered 4 Sex determination kits. I recieved my my 4 Sex determination testing kits from Rimrock Analytics today. I will be using these to test my plants at week 2 of Veg so that when/if I take clones I know I am taking them off females. As well as I don't want to accidently pollinate my tent during this grow I am looking for big beautiful buds not seeded buds. :-) 1/24/2023- Harvest of current grow- Started at 2:00pm and finshed wet trim and firt batch into the freeze dryer. 1/25/2023- Next batch into the freeze dryer and cleaning all my equipment for this Grow. T-1 Day until the workers are supposed to be here to fix the hole in the Grow Room. T-3 days until I instll my new Gorilla Grow Tent and my New Light Spider Farmer SE-7000 for this grow. T-7 Days until Start of Germination 1/26/2023- Harvest is done ran through the Freeze dryer and dry tim completed. 1/27/2023- Grow Room repairs completed. Hole is gone Letting the paint dry before I install the new tent. T-2 days until Install the New Gorilla Grow tent and the new Light T-3 days until I put the hydro equipment in the new tent T-5 days until Germination 1/29/2023- Day 0- Final Pre Germination activities Germination Start T-3 days The paint on the ceiling was dry and it was time to finish prepping for Germination. I got the following items knocked off my list. New 4X4 Gorilla Grow Tent is up and ready New Spider Farmer SE-7000 Light is installed- Thanks Moony Grows for the suggestion and for the Code that got me some money off and free shipping (Moonygrows)!! I turned the lights all the way up to max and set the timer to 18/6 0600-0000. I will keep an eye on the temperature and humidity without my plants and see how hot it gets with the new light. I put my Hydro system back together and put in 40 gallons of water into it, time to monitor for leaks the next few days. I Setup my cloning machine for Germination Days 3-11 1/30/2023 let me break down the situation, ROOM in the TENT.. Enough said.. No really I tried putting my exhaust system up in the new tent with my new light, The light is so big corner to corner that it really didn't give me enough room for the lights be be raised, with the exahust hanging the buckets my plants are Starting in are 2 and 1/2 feet off the ground, great for plenty of room for roots but not so great for upwards space for the plant to grow. In a 6' 11 tent with the exauhst in side and hanging that only gave me a little over 4 feet of grow room to play with. My last grow if you saw my diary, anyone could tell I was struggling to keep the buds off the lights. No good, Since space was such an issue I was running my carbon filter inside on the ground but It really needed to be up sucking the heat out not shooting the cool out. With that setup I was sucking air through the filter and pushing it out the tent at a bottom exhaust hole cold out. Wasn't doing me any good for my heat. I was hitting temps of up to 85 degrees. I bought a portable AC unit and have been running it in the grow room to try and keep temps below 85 and I have had to lower the power on my lights during grow also not ideal.. With that said a friend of mine MoonyGrows (Check out his diary) took the time to look at my issue send me a picture of my grow tent setup with detailed instructions on how to suck the air out from the top but putting my filter and fan on top of my tent so no room issue and I am sucking the air out from the top where the heat is instead of pushing the air out from the bottom where the cool is... THANK YOU MoonyGrows For taking the time to help me get this straightened out.. Now I have room and I have the exhausts working right and now my temps with everything at 100% are topping out at 80 this dropped the temp by 5 + degrees at 100% max. T-2 days until Start of Germination Prepped my seed tray with humidity dome Prepped my Rapid Rooter plugs. I Used RO water, and I added a few drops of Hydrogen peroxide to Oxygenate the water. I then PH balanced between 5.7-6.0 the same that they will be getting in the Cloning Machine and when they get to thier final grow pod. I perfere the 5.8x range and I hit 5.84 for these rapid rooters. Have my seed tray warming up tonight. Tomorrow morning right into the Rapid Rooter then strait into the tray. I will spray the dome to start the humidity in there. 2/1/2023 Germination Day!! Let the games begin! 0600am Put the seeds into the Root Riots. And then put the seeded Root Riots into their first home the Seed tray. I have them under the light 24/7. Sprayed the dome 7:30pm Sprayed the Dome to keep humidity going on the dome. 2/2/2023 Day 1 of Germination Sprayed the Dome in the morning Sprayed the Dome in the evening 2/3/2023 Day 2 of Germination Roots are starting to come out the bottom of the root riot plugs and the heads are slowly popping out of Number 4 just below the surface. Afternoon- Number 4 has popped up Evening- Number 3 has popped up as well. Happy Dance!! 2/4/2023 Day 3 - Germination Surprise Surprise Surprise- all 4 have now poked their heads up.. Happy day!! 100% Germination succeeded. Now major milestone to track is how many are female and how many are male. I will take look at the roots this afternoon/evening and see if they have enough root to go into the cloning machine for the next 7 days before they go into their Hydro Pods. Day 3 - Germination - Evening.. Roots looked good and they were tall enough to make it into the cloning machine. Now that they are all in the cloning machine I have switched the lighting to veg state 18 on 6 off. 2/5/2023 Day 4 - Germination - Morning All the Ladies (fingers crossed) looking great stretching nicely and look nice and green, Photo synthesis underway.... UPDATE!! After a very interesting POD cast on FSTS by Dr. Bruce Bugsbee from Utah University, I have shifted my lighting to 24 hours on through seedling and then I am going to shift to 20 hours on the rest of Veg. 2/6/2023 Day 5 - Germination While Checking on my conditions inside the new tent last night, I found that the Humidity was down to 39 Percent. I added an AquaOasis Cool Mist Humidifier, the reason I selected this humidifier is that I needed one that could be turned on and off utilizing my Inkbird Humidity Controller IHC200 that I have my Pro Breeze Dehumidifier currently running with. Root structures are starting to get there about 1/4 of an inch. 2/7/2023 Day 6 - Germination Everything seems on track more roots poking out of each today. They are each getting a little taller as well. Checked in the evening and number 3 was drooping the Root riot plug on the bottome was dry and the roots were not in the water yet. I raised the water just enough that the longest root that was sticking out is now hitting the water. 2/8/2023 Day 7 - Germination Everything looked good while checking in on them this morning number 3 is now full up and no droop again. 2/9/2023 Day 8 - Germination T-2 days until Plant into Forever Pods and we start week 1 of Veg .. :-) Surprising thing to me is that number 1 and 2 were later in popping then 3 and 4 but the roots are growing longer in 1 and 2. 2/10/2023 Day 9 - Germination Number 1 and Number 2 are definitely ready for transplant today.. Based on how they were yesterday and where they are today I am hoping by tomorrow 3 and 4 are ready. Today they look to me where 1 and 2 did yesterday.. I really hope 3 and 4 catch up by tomorrow since.. T-1 day until transplant to new/ final home for grow. Need the roots long enough to have some clay down in the basket to keep the root riot out of the water and only roots in the water.. 2/11/2023 Day 10 - Germination Today they got placed in thier forever Home, 7 days from Sprout and 7 days until Week 1 Start. PPM- 180 this is water out of the Tap Temp Water: 70.7 Temp Tent: 77 Humidity: 40% I have a humidifier going 24/7 to try and bring this up.. I also have Humidity Domes on each plant. 2/12/2023 Day 11 - Germination Sprayed the domes, all are looking good.. Nothing much to do at this phase but Keep monitoring the PH level in the system and making sure they have a comfortable home. T-6 days until Week 1 start 2/13/2023 Day 12 - Germination Sprayed the domes, They were looking a little yellow today so I moved the light down to assist. Nothing much to do at this phase but Keep monitoring the PH level in the system and making sure they have a comfortable home. T-5 days until Week 1 start 2/14/2023 Day 13 - Germination Sprayed the domes, They were looking a little Florissant yellow today, with what looks like slight burn on the tips, I talked with a fellow grower and we agreed that It was probably that I was drowning them, Yes you can drown you plants even in Hydro, but only early on.. :-) It usually happens with the water being too high, which soaks not only the roots but the medium (root Riot plug in this case). I lowered the water from touching the bottom of the pot to about 1" away. This will probably take 3-4 days to resolve. I will continue my daily monitoring. T-4 days until Week 1 start 2/15/2023 Day 14 - Germination Sprayed the domes, continue my daily monitoring they look a little darker green instead of lime green now that I lowered the water levels in the system, so I think that I might have resolved the issue but it will take a few days for recovery to happen. T-3 days until Week 1 start 2/16/2023 Day 15 - Germination I looked in on them this morning, 3 and 4 look like they are doing well and recovering nicely. Number 1 not so much it has brown spots on the leaves, this very well can still be a side effect of the overwatering but I decide to go ahead and add Nutes earlier than I was planning just incase. I was going to wait until Saturday but I think intervention is necessary now especially after drowning them early on. I added 1/2 what I am planning on adding for week 1 start. I also think I am going to adjust my chart to add 1/2 2 days after plant from now on. I don't think it would hurt it to have some Nutes to pull from. .25ml/Gal Calmag = 12.5ml 1ml/gal GH FloraMicro= 50ml 1ml/gal GH FloraGro = 50ml 1ml/gal GH FloraBloom = 50ml T-2 days until Week 1 start = I will drain the system and start it over on Saturday with Week 1 Nutes. 2/17/2023 Day 16- Germination I didn't even want to post today after looking in on them this morning, 3 of the 4 are now showing signs of dronwing.. Brown spots on the leaves, the water levels were still too high.. I drained about another inch out of the tanks.. Will see how quick they recover.. I start week 1 tomorrow and will have to ensure my water levels are at least 1" away from the basket on this round.

AK-47 Goxuak Autoflower by Genehtik is a truly awesome plant and really really fun to grow! My 1st thought was I wish I had know more when I ordered the seeds. I only bought 1 from the single seed centre .com 🤦‍♂️ Of all the plants our house sitters watched for us back in week 7, this is the only one they regularly ask about and want to know when its finished. Even they loved growing it! And they only spent a week with her and aren't gardeners 😄 Ashoka started in a Jiffy tomato pod and was transplanted almost as an afterthought. In fact we ran out of containers and had to improvise with the water pitcher. (We didn't have high hopes) Oops. The pitcher turned out to be a big benefit in that I could see the roots and diagnose and potential issues. She has been in the same Fox Farms; Happy Frog soil ever since planting the pod into the pitcher. The soil held up good too. Ashoka didn't start showing any deficiencies until the end of week 6, around the middle of her stretch. Correcting this was very easy, we added the recharge at first but it didn't quite do it. We had to feed her Advanced Nutrients Bloom and Grow for about 2.5 weeks. But this Goxuak really never complained : 1:😎 Low Stress Training (LST) for Ashoka was a breeze! At 14 days she was 4" tall and too short to train. She doubled in height in a week and we started training around day 24. Just in the nick of time too! She entered flower about a week after that and stretched like crazy!🤪 the AK-47 gave us about 3 full weeks of nice flexible branches to train before hardening up. We ended up with a pretty even canopy and some solid colas too I wanted to touch on the lighting as there isn't a lot of options on this platform. Ashoka spent her life under 2 different lights. 1st, she sprouted and spent the first 4 weeks vegging under 2x Viparspectra 600w(250 true watts) LEDs at an 18/6 light cycle. She finished her flower and fade under A Optic 8 (500 true watts) LED. At 18/6 At around day 60 I started flushing her.(well my house sitter Sam did the first time) We used Cyco Kleanse and flushed 5 Gallons thru her until the ppm was down to 350ish, I did the next 2 flushes. The 2nd I used Kleanse again getting the runoff ppm to ~120. Her final week I stopped ph-ing the water and just watered tap. I also gave her the 3rd and final flush with straight Ice cold tap water. She really showed a great fade!! Some buds definitely colored up too!! Finally the Harevst: I put her in a 5Gal bucket of ice in complete darkness for 4 days.😈 This was done with the intent to help her produce more resin and frost up. I can't say if it truly worked. She absolutely doubled the trichome production in those 4 days, but idk if it was the time or the darkness and ice. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️ I kept her in a sealed closet with a oscillating fan and humidifier at 75°and 63%RH. On the 3rd day I lowered the RH to 50%. She got trimmed and put into jars on the 5th day after harvest. I am monitoring the humidity and burping regularly (8-10x a day) Smoke Report: Creamy pepper with a cherry syrup aftertaste.🤣🤪 I've only smoked a bowl so haven't tested the ashes. But she is curing nice. A bit harsh yet I expect will go away after a couple more days. The high is perfect tho! Just what we wanted. It creeps up on u. But you will be confused by the time you finish the bowl. A very cerebral high(I chopped her whole trichomes were only 10% amber) that was great with good company. My girl andI are both veteran smokers, but this bud still made us both giggly(a rarity). It's a good social smoke and was fun to be on around others. The only downsides were it caused a mild confusion and paranoia. Like I would forget what I was talking about then worry ppl were laughing at me for it(they were though) 🤣🤣 I plan to report more feedback after it had cured a couple weeks. I'll invite others people's opinions as well. Right now I can definitely say the AK-47 Goxuak from Genehtik it an autoflower I would recommend to anyone, but especially new auto growers. I will be ordering more next season if they ate available. Genehtik has won me over. They genetics were extremely stable and safe. No herms no deficiencies nothing but greatness! 🌱🌱🌱 I had to share! I was looking on the breeder Instagram page( @Genehtik_chile) and they used a few of my pictures of Ashoka to represent their AK-47 Goxuak auto. I really feel honored by this. I have only been growing for 5 months and know I'm not good, but it's inspiring and motivating when the breeder of the strain give you an attaboy like this. Thanks Genehtik! It's been a pretty good week. I did quite a big defoliation, as things were getting crowded. She has a nice flowery smell! I switched to a more flowering dominant feeding, I decreased the Nitrogen and pumped up the phosphorus and potassium. I will soon do a flush, as it looks like the nuts are starting to accumulate at the roots.

At the end of week 8 the blackberry cake feminised is doing well as the bud formation tightens and the stigmas fade, leaves paled it’s looking like the end is nigh. All of her energy is being used to complete the bloom. The try chromes glistening over the flowers are mostly milky. The blackberry cake feminised stalk is beginning to dull/decay. In the last stage of defoliation she will be flushed thoroughly for the last two weeks. She stands at 67cm tall.

The girls got some calmag deficiency and the last few times I didn't adjust PH. As a result u can see the leafs of Cookies Kush turned light green or yellow. This happens when u neglect ur ladies 🤣🤣🤣. I guess in a week the ladies lookin' vital again. So stay tuned guys.

March 15, 2024 Day 29 I didn't end up doing a lot today. I watered in a full liter of the new nutrient regimen per plant. They seem to have taken well to it. No signs of stress yet. Took some pictures and measured the plants. I forgot to measure the light distance, which I will do at some point today. I also didn't activate the bottom feed system today. I'll do that tomorrow morning. I wanted to see if there was any stress. Nothing, so tomorrow it is. So over the last week, I had to start training and the plants grew a good 5" through the week. They are about 8" tall now, after the training, which I might add went swimmingly. The side branches took off immediately and I'll be tying those down in the next day or 2. They are both a lush green color with Banana Purple Punch B being super tight. It will definitely need a defoliation. Banana Purple Punch A is really different in stature. Not so compact, but the same leaf structure. So far I'm happy with this run. The environment is still doing quite well. I will keep the temps around 77° and the humidity down a bit lower to around 55%, if I can get it there. I'll update lighting tomorrow. Currently the PAR is 550 ppfd. However, they aren't out of veg yet. I may keep the lights as they are for the time being. Maybe til the middle of the week and then I'll increase the DLI to around 40 mol/m²/d for the rest of the week. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.7° RH: 60.9% VPD: 1.08 kPa March 16, 2024 Today was a busy day. Finished up everything I didn't do yesterday. Both plants got their bottom feed system activated. The roots aren't quite out far enough, but that should t be a problem. The containers should start absorbing through the wicks in no time. Then the concentration of water will be on the bottom half bringing the roots all the way down and spread out. It should be quite successful. They also got fully trained. All taller branches tied down. The tops were readjusted a smidge. But the main branches were tied down. Banana Purple Punch B is still really bushy and compact. Training helped quite a bit, but there still massive leaves and short nodes. Banana Purple Punch A is perfect. She has beautiful internodal spacing that helped keep the canopy opened and ready to fill in. Her leaves are massive, but were easily moved around. Both plants have beautiful colors and are the same height. So far so good. Let's hope I can keep up through the stretch. The lighting is staying the same for now. The distance is now 24" and the PAR is 600 ppfd. I may peek at 80% power today to see what the reading is. If it's around 650, I'll keep it there. If higher, I'll drop it back down. Then I'll increase it next week. Next week should be pre-flower or at some point this week. The environment is also good. It's been a bit cold the past couple of days, so the temp is hovering around 75° instead of 77° and the humidity is a little high at 61%. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.3° RH: 59.9% VPD: 1.09 kPa March 17, 2024 Not much to do today. The bottom feeding systems are running perfectly. The soil moisture level is now at 30% and that's where I'm keeping it for now. I made 2 training adjustments today on Banana Purple Punch A just a couple branches pulled back down. However, Banana Purple Punch B is too bushy already. I'm going to have to defoliate in a couple days I think. Also, the main top tie down was useless. The plant just grew more and completely knocked off the tie down. I can't do it again for now. Not until there's a bit of stretch. However, the side branches I pulled down are looking good, but still super dense. I'll most likely cut the main stalk fan leaves off. That should do the trick. The light was raised 2" today. Hopefully it helps with praying. There isn't any and I'm wondering if the light needs to be brighter. It's kind of counterintuitive, but if the lack of light doesn't induce praying, then maybe it's not bright enough. The sweet spot needs to be somewhere for this strain. I'll figure it out. Other than that, some pictures today and monitoring the water intake. Update: I decided to increase the power to 80%. That should help with the temp and humidity. The DLI is 41.5 mol/m²/d. This should be perfect for this stage in the grow. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.0° RH: 59.2% VPD: 1.14 kPa March 18, 2024 Looking great today! The bottom feed systems are fully active and the soil moisture is at 36% throughout. It's a tiny bit wetter on the bottom where the feed system is, but nothing crazy. There's about a half gallon left from the initial activation. That should last the rest of the week. Then I can add new water and nutes. Because this is a bottom feed system and the soil is more like coco coir, I will have to run a constant feeding regimen. Maybe every few waterings I'll run a half gallon of plain PHed water to 6.0. everything else with watering is fantastic. I couldn't ask for a better outcome with the startup. The ending result is a nice crust on the top soil to help lock moisture in and prevent bugs from laying eggs. Both ladies got a full training adjustment. As well as a few branches that finally got long enough to tie down. Banana Purple Punch A is looking great! The main top is doubled over like a horseshoe. But no breaks or anything. Banana Purple Punch B is also looking great. Super lunch full leaves. Still extremely short nodes, but I can deal with that in a week or so when I defoliate. These two plants are very different. Definitely different phenomes where Banana Purple Punch A is more on the hybrid side while Banana Purple Punch B is definitely a solid indica. We'll see what happens in the end. I feel I'm going to have to train Banana Purple Punch B differently. The top won't stay down, so I'm either going to top it or just defoliate and tie down the branches for light and air circulation. Hopefully because of her tight stature, she won't stretch past the other plants in the tent and the canopy stays level. We shall see. Lighting is spot on with the plants praying slightly. I guess my theory made sense. It's not the lack of light that causes praying, not too much light. I now understand the "sweet spot". I'll have to ensure it stays in the sweet spot for the rest of the grow. It should with my lighting schedule. The environment is finally adjusting back to normal, with the temp being around 76° and the humidity at 56%. Nothing to complain about here. Grow System Environment: Temp: 74.8° RH: 59.8 VPD: 1.16 kPa March 19, 2024 Not much going on today. I did some minor adjustments to the plants tied downs. Rotated them slightly for a better fit in the tent. I also separated the basins and now they are in their own quadrants. No sense in watering today. The basins are still about 1/4 full. They will definitely need to be refilled in a couple days. Perfect timing. The plants themselves are looking great. Banana Purple Punch A has a bit of nitrogen toxicity. I'll have to drop the nutrients down next refill a bit. Maybe 10 ml instead of 12 ml. Banana Purple Punch B is still super bushy and tight. I might have to top her if she takes off and starts getting taller than the other plants in the canopy. I did make adjustments to the tie downs and pulled two top branches down. The plant is seriously compact, but the same size as her sister plant. When she takes off, I will be expecting a robust and strong plant. Also, I'd like to mention the stem is super thick on both plants, especially with Banana Purple Punch B. Very promising for a heavy yield. So based on my last run, if everything goes as it's going currently, I should expect 36" plants. At that size and the density this strain has, I may be expecting a good 9 oz from each plant. Unless I can get slightly bigger plants, then maybe 12 oz. Who knows. My last grow had one plant yield 21.5 oz. This run is better so far in every aspect. No accidents with topping or light issues, or environmental factors. Feeding has been really good. With the current exception having a slight nitrogen toxicity, which I will fix ASAP. Lighting is looking great! I may have to raise it an inch or so later today, if not tomorrow. I'll leave it at this power level for the next couple weeks until we are in full swing flower, then I'll increase the power again and adjust accordingly. I may not even get to 100% power. Wouldn't that be nice. The environment is looking really good. The temp is around 76° and the humidity is at a solid 57% during the day. Maybe even perfect for this week in the grow. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.8° RH: 56.5% VPD: 1.21 kPa March 20, 2024 Today was a bit busy. So far I tied down some new branches that were finally long enough to tie down. Only on Banana Purple Punch A. She needed adjustments for the whole plant. Very happy with the growth so far. Banana Purple Punch B had her branches adjusted, but now I'm really concerned with her taking off and getting taller than the rest of the canopy. I'm thinking she needs to be topped. Just in case. I may ask a question and see what the community thinks. Roots aren't showing totally yet, so I can only imagine what the root balls look like. Maybe they will get big, following big plants. Banana Purple Punch B hasn't shown any roots yet, but I expect roots to pop out any day now. We aren't in pre-flower yet, so there's still plenty of room to grow and plenty of time for me to shape my ladies. So far, the way things are going promises a bountiful yield and a full tent. The reservoirs are nearly empty. Banana Purple Punch A is actually at the bottom and just about dried up. This time around, I can let the basins dry out. In regards to nutrients, funnily enough, Banana Purple Punch A has nitrogen toxicity. It's definitely from the huge boost in nutrients. I'll drop the nutes back down to around 8 ml instead of 12 ml. This next watering will have to be with Cal/Mag. Just to get rid of the toxicity. Then back to 8 ml of base nutrients. As for lighting, I raised the light an inch to keep it at 24" from the canopy. The PAR is around 625 ppfd. I don't need to increase the power level yet, but soon I think. The environment is back to being spot on. The temp is back around 76° to 77° and the humidity is hovering around 56%. The VPD is right where it needs to be. I'm quite happy. Update: I decided to try tying down the top of Banana Purple Punch B one last time. If it doesn't take and it's standing straight up tomorrow, I'll have to top her. It should take this time. The bend is a perfect 90 degree angle. And this time I made sure to secure the tie straight down and tied it to a side branch. The side branches are super thick, so it will definitely hold. Grow System Environment: Temp: 73.7° RH: 56.6% VPD: 1.20 kPa March 21, 2024 Not much going on today. Both basins were refilled today with 10 ml instead of 12 ml. I probably should have run the plain water as I originally thought, but then I don't want to lose out on precious nutrients. The nitrogen toxicity should go away. Hell, it might even go away when the plant gets bigger. Speaking of getting bigger, they are taking off now. Banana Purple Punch A is kind of a tangled mess. It's beautiful. Great color huge leaves. Some 7 finger leaves coming out. The training is working quite well with the side branches sticking out past the boundaries of the container by a good few inches all around. Banana Purple Punch B is the most well rounded plant in shape and structure. The top tie down took swimmingly. A perfect 90° bend. Each branch has its own space. Because the plants is so compact, this was the only way I could train her. The difference is that I like to tie down the whole plant at first. This plant was a no go, so it has quite a uniform shape going on. Still it's different. So the plant will turn out different than her sister plant. The light needed to be raised a half inches today. Just to get that DLI at 40 mol/m²/d. Tomorrow I'll probably increase the power to 90%. The goal is to bring the DLI to 42 mol/m²/d and gradually let the plants grow into a DLI of 45 mol/m²/d. I will try to keep the light at 24" for the whole grow. As I said weeks ago, I'll go as low as 22", but any lower than that and my footprint gets too small. I may have to increase the power to 100% in 2 weeks. And keep the light at 24" or higher. Unless of course I run out of height space, then I have to remove the exhaust fan and left the light to the ceiling of the tent.etd hope it doesn't get to that point. Plants that tall are really difficult to manage in a 3x3 tent. The environment. The effing environment. It's freezing today. Around 21° f. My room has trouble getting over 72° in turn the temp of the tent is suffering at 74°. However, the humidity is still great at 56% to 57% all day. Sometimes it pops up to 58%, but that will change when it gets warmer and I can get my heater to work properly. I like to keep the bedroom at 74° during the day, so the tent hovers around 76° to 77°.
