Another great week for the Apple Betty girls. I have not seen a single deficiency, other than the odd yellowed or withered leaf under the canopy, typically due to lack of light. I will come through soon and do a defoliation of both tents to allow for more light to penetrate, and perhaps get a good push for some girthy colas 😋. I have lowered the temps a bit in the tents by controlling my lung room temps, and they are maxing out at 77 degrees and hitting a night time cool of about 70. I have also lowered the humidity to hover between 47 and 52 %. Hopefully will start to get some nice colours as they finish. As I mentioned before, when I water is when I like to get under the canopy and check the stems and leaves for anything that shouldn’t be… and typically once a week after watering I’ll wipe down the tent and sanitize any surface I can. There is no reason to get lazy, that’s how you get Pests, Mold, and PM. Happy Gardening 🇨🇦👊❤️

(11/18-11/24) ***All feeds with nutes use either a whole ratio or combination of "Veg Mix" and "Bloom Mix"concentrates DILUTED in water until a total ppm of add-in is reached using a (Total Dissolved Solids) TDS Meter measured in PPM (parts per million). The "Veg Mix" concentrate will eventually be added in smaller ratios and "Bloom Mix" concentrate will eventually replace the "Veg Mix" concentrate entirely. The ppm and ratios of each feed will be listed when I feed. Veg mix recipe is on week 2. Bloom Mix recipe will be noted in this top message of the week that I make it.*** Week 2 Notes & Observations: As mentioned last week, Plant 1 really liked the nute feed and gave excellent growth surpassing plant 2 in height. However plant 2 is actually ahead of plant one by number of nodes even if she's shorter overall. And since I topped this week, that became important. I topped plant 1 at the third node of 5 and plant 2 at the 4th node of 6. I also cleared all other leaves and growth tips leaving only 2 fan leaves and the growth tips under the topping nodes. Hope to see a full recovery in 5 to 7 days when, if all is still good, I plan to top again on each side to set my mainline base. VPD and PPFD: This week I will hold the humidity in the tent to about 70-75% and temps will be monitored for 75- 78F daytime and 68-70F overnight. Lights should adjusted to provide 350max, but will try to hold the 300 setting as long as I can this week. Meaning slight increase over last week other than growth. Feed & Monitor: Day 22 (last feed was day 16) Tested and Calibrated my ph pens. Starting weight from each pot was 18 lbs and 8 oz, P1 weighed 15lbs 13oz and P2 was 14lbs 15oz before feed. Each plant got 1 gallon of purified water with 150ppm Veg Mix (recipe on week 2 and makes 1 gallon at about 3600 to 4000ppm concentrate to dilute each feed, i.e. I only fed 150ppm above the purified water ppm this feed) The ph on this feed was balanced to 6.05ph to combat the higher runoff ph from the last feed. After feed P1 weighed 21lbs 2oz (21even after last feed) and P2 weighed 20lbs 14oz (21lbs 5oz after last feed). I got about 9 cups of runoff on P1 and 7 cups on P2. Runoff for P1 ph was 6.45 with 980ppm and P2 was 6.45 with 1130ppm. Top soil tested at: P1 (6.51,6.48,6.43,6.57) avg 6.497 and P2 (6.41,6.39,6.57,6.47) avg 6.46 - next feed will be 6.1ph, Im liking where the ph is so I dont see any issues, but will continue this course for a bit longer. Observaciones: el día 19 aprecio que algunas plantas muestran carencias y algunas algún posible bloqueo, por miedo a no haber echo las cosas bien desde el principio, decido dar un lavado de encimas a las raíces con Sensizym y dar descanso de nutrientes hasta finalizar la semana 3. Day 14 for the frozen diesel and she is doing her thing. Topped her on day 11 and she's branching out. Upped the maxigro a little.

Day 65 : This lady started to make amber some of the trichomes. So today i flushed this mature lady with around 50L+ . Runout before flush was 1300ppm. After flush the runout was 400ppm. I decided to stop there. The plan is the next watering to be with pure water and when she drinks it chop chop. I goal for 15%-20% of amber. Now lets say that we are between 5%-10%. She has big heavy nuggs, not long but fat enough. LST was perfect on this lady, almost all colas are in the same height and growth. Edit Day 69 : The nuggs are very thick, Stills i don't see the number of them that i want. So i watered with pure water and continue till is ready. Leaves started to getting yellowish, so flush was successful.

420Fastbuds FBT2305/Week11 These lovely ladies are getting super close to being done. Getting excited when opening the tent as these two just draw your attention straight to them. Flowers are super dense and smell mesmerizing. Looked at trichs this past week and noticed some amber showing up so I'll wait until I see about 10% until they get chipped and trimmed up to start drying on the rack. All in all Happy Growing

Well this week I had to give the girls a fairly big trim they were beautifully bushy but they were struggling for space so I cut back the heavy shade leaves that were covering bud sites I am also adding bloom to there feed from now but they are doing really well and the smell in the tent is devine. 💚🙏🌱🙏💚🙏🌱🙏💚

Both were fed on day 43 3.5 liters of full strength nutes. Both ladies are growing nicely, every time I open the tent I’m blessed with that fruity dank smell. Their flowers are bulking up little by little and both are throwing out trichomes in there main colas. Can’t wait for harvest!!! Day 47- both are looking good, maybe a little heavy on the nitrogen so I’m going to dial back a bit on the nutes. Forum stomper is really taking her time, I hope she fills out!

Estoy muy contento de haber elegido esta depa, tuve un pequeño percance con la alimentación ya que no asimila tantos fertilizantes pero lo pide corregir a tiempo. Me ha encantado los colores en sus últimas semanas de floración, sus flores tienen un potente olor y sabor.. estoy muy contento con el resultado, no me pensaría en tenerla otra vez.

I harvested Dorel and will soon do #4 as well. I had to as I don’t have the space to dry all 3 at once. Tbh Dorel didn’t look so good today, although I couldn’t see much amber trichromes she looks a bit overdone. Will probably do #4 this weekend, and Ozz the 2 following wees

FBT2402 had a ph issue, and I got some spots on the leaves. I did not have her solution strong enough, and it jumped up on me. It's fixed now, and stable. Beside that she is starting to stack her colas. Hopefully I get a few ounces from her. Our Buddy Buddha from the start to the end lived its life next to Powell, they were close! Now that the final curtain has been drawn.. or tent flap, it is with a sad heart that we at the "In the Closet with Two Strains" Studio will be saying goodbye. She was never the most impressive plant, kept feeling like she would bloom more but the conditions were never truly right for her. Both plants had their branches sliced at the stem and large leaves removed, this purposely slowed drying down to maximise end flavour. They were both washed in cleaning pools to prepare them for their final journey in the tent. With a sad heart we wish you farewell Buddy, we will see you and Powell soon... IN OUR SMOKE REPORT!
