Germination 07/09/2022 Hi to all the old and new growers out there. Spring has barely started but I'm so AMPED to start again. My first grow attempt was a disaster. I started to early for the season. I wasted some good seeds and those Blasted 🐌 🐌 snails messed up everything. Got up started again and took it as a learning curve. I had 1 seed left from the previous attempt and this had to be the golden ticket. The first important thing I learned was getting to the correct pH. Used a 1 liter jug not knowing that the pH down was very concentrated substance. Added 1ml of pH down to tap water with a base of 8.5+ pH and brought it down all the way to less than 4.5 pH. I probably tried like 5 times and realized that a single drop made a difference of about 2 pH. I got the feel of it and had to source a better water supply. I had the option of using tap water but didn't have the time to do a 24 hour airstone run ever time I wanted to water the plants. The local water supply shop was a better option. I got a consistent 6 pH and the price was decent. The Snail 🐌 Problem... I have a plan for those F**kers. We have 2 very nice hydroponic shops in my city. Way to start the week more photos to come. Flushed using sledge hammer this week stretch has come to a complete stop and budding is in full force. The smell oh how can I describe but a sweet berry funk. They have taken very well to the fox farm nutes that I’ve been giving. Definitely some differences in 2 of four, DD1 and DD2 much more weight and little to no purple except for main stem and veins on existing leaves compared to DD3 and the runt DD4 buds are not as dense but man are they flying this deep lavender and purple. The smell from this girls is so sweet . Bud structure is different on the DD I’m guessing the sativa vs indica genetics are showing which are dominating the plants either way there is a wonderfully sweet aroma from all the plants. 4/19 I feed them more nutrients in a small attempt to see if I can push the nutes slightly past recommended levels, to date no signs of burn or build up ever so slight clawing of the fans but nothing I’m concerned about plants looking good.

July 18: recovering from the hail storm 7 days ago. Will start force flowering tonight. In dark garage at 9 pm, a few seconds of 730 nm far red light, and then out of garage at 7 am. That is 10 h of darkness plus 2 h from the far red light at the right time. That is 12 h of darkness in a ‘26 h’ day. Great trick if you have daily access to your flowering plants. After about two weeks I’ll stop with garage but continue with the bloom booster red light every night at Civil Twilight until harvest. Time is from timeanddate.com for my location. Easy trick but you need to do it at the right time each night. and is based on your latitude. July 19: added second layer to scrog net. Watered with compost tea this morning.

I'm so sad just because I cannot get a lot of jars full of this wonderful haze man! Damn I love her aroma to pieces her terps are just awesome suuper sweet but you still can feel the sativa haze smell,but it's got a lot of berry and fruity smell tho,thank god I have this wonderful strain in Photoperiod version and I'll be able to grow her,definitely love this strain,I'll add her to my Photoperiod abd automatics list,AWESOME STRAIN! can't wait to smoke this,100% organic pure and clean free of any chemical sh%t thank you guys hope you like my work 💚✌️🌱💛❤️

I finally harvested all of my photo plants. So my 2 auto plants are getting an outage for the rest of their lives I have moved them both into my larger tent with more light and more room. I’m sure 100%h sure why both of these plants are alot light green. I think it’s I got a little behind on the nutrients but the green is slowly comeing back. It’s been hot lately I have the lights running at night now

Mes petit bébés commence leurs 5ème semaine (je me suis trompé d’une semaine 😕 désolé 😉) trop pressé!!! 😂 de mettre de nouvelles photos 😜. 2/17: I spent a little time rearranging today. I bought some 32" x 14" plastic ventilated storage shelves and cut the legs down on two of them so I have some different-height platforms for the shorties in the garden. I should also be able to easily flush 6 plants in 5 gallon pots, or 9 plants in 3 gallon pots at a time now, that's a win!👈 2/18: I debated whether to feed or not, and settled on watering them with about 1/2 gallon each. including bembe, cal-mag, signal, humic acid, and a little beastie bloomz. The new dehumidifier is pulling about a gallon and a half per day from the air, so I should be able to feed them in a couple of days. I've reached the ceiling again with my lights. Both plants are budding up now. 2/19: Rainy day outside, so I'm pulling in 99% humidity, plus the pots are still petty saturated, but the new dehumidifier is keeping up. RH is holding at about 45% today.👍 2/20: Day 31 of flower...the tall one grew another couple of inches overnight! Damnit!😟 After emptying the closet (again) today and supercropping more branches (and some of the same branches again), a semi-solution occurred to me that allowed me to raise the lights another 3-4 inches! Now I'm truly maxxed out... Not a very stable strain..just look at the difference in the two I grew... I really needed everybody to finish in the same week so I could get my Spring autos going...😶 I'm still hoping that they will get their groove-on and finish by the EHD(3/11), but it's not looking possible for the taller one at this point... The shorter one is starting to smell really nice...faint, but funky. I took photos and videos of all the plants today since I had to empty the closet and it wasn't a feeding day. 2/21: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including beastie bloomz, tiger bloom, big bloom, signal, bembe, and cal-mag...no grow big this time. 2/22: The short one continues to pack on the pistils, but the taller one is slow as hell....😟 2/23: I ordered some Terpinator because I'm not so sure about Signal's efficacy at this point....I'm usually dealing with odors more by now..😕

Week 3 update and all systems go for launch. We’re flipping to flower exactly 21 days from seed and so far, the mix looks to be impressive. Counting about 4 males (one that won’t make the cut), 2 indica leaning phenos and the rest are sativa leaning. Side branching has also been impressive so we should be able to pull some rootable cuts within the next week or two. If we got the sexes right (it is a little early to be certain), then the dutchy cabinet will be full up for bud testing👍. Next week will tell the tale🤟. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. they grow very fast this weeks no problem at all whit the Remo nutrients theys drink 12 liters a week crazy the last watering of the week 3 liters each i give them 9ml mix whit 4 liter of waterthe week 4 is going to be 10 ml mix whit 4 liters of water hi give for 7 plants 72 liters this weeks

Woche 4 Die Laughing Buddha entwickelt sich weiterhin stabil und kompakt. Sattes Grün, gesunde Blattstruktur und ein schöner, gleichmäßiger Wuchs. Ich lasse sie aktuell bewusst in Ruhe wachsen, damit sie Kraft für die nächsten Schritte sammelt. Toppen ist in etwa 8–10 Tagen geplant – danach wird strukturiert trainiert. Wasser gibt’s weiterhin kontrolliert im Ring, sobald der Topf deutlich leichter wird.

Going into the final week of flower, will be harvesting the next week. Buds are super dense and frosty! Purple Queen is sweet and sticky while the Girl Scout Crack is more pungent and stinky.

Back on track! Giving them some nitrogen has them drinking water at a much quicker rate and the flowers are adding some new growth in all direction. I think they’ll be a week or two behind the original forecasted finish date and while the leaves may not be the prettiest these little northern lights autos are going to have that great smell and taste we’ve all come to love.
