๐Ÿš‚ 8ร—8 Adventure โ€” Cash Express by Zamnesia | Pheno B | Harvest โ€” Part 2 ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿ‘‘ The Compact Beast Delivers! Dense, Beautiful Flowers and a Final Dry Weight Worth Celebrating! โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ“ธ Welcome back to another chapter of the 8ร—8 Adventure, my friends! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š And here we are again! It's time to continue the harvest story of our beautiful Cash Express Pheno B. ๐Ÿš‚๐ŸŒธ Last week, we shared Part 1 of her harvest report, documenting the beginning of the harvest, her beautiful flowers, the whole-plant drying process, and some first impressions from the studio. Now it's time to move forward! The drying is complete, the scissors are ready, the TrimBin is waiting, and this compact girl is about to show us what she's been working on all these weeks. And I have to sayโ€ฆ SHE HAS SOME BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ’š Before we get started, I strongly recommend checking out her previous diary weeks and Part 1 of the harvest report. There you'll find the complete journey, from her early development through flowering and all the way to harvest. We'll keep a quick recap here so everyone can follow along, but there's plenty more to discover in the previous updates! โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒฑ A QUICK RECAP โ€” THE 8ร—8 ADVENTURE For anyone joining us for the first time, welcome! The 8ร—8 Adventure follows twelve individual plants sharing the same general growing environment. Same room. Same general conditions. Same lighting ecosystem. Same overall nutritional approach. Same 12/12 light schedule from seed. Different genetics, different phenotypes, and different expressions. That's the heart of this project: observing how individual plants develop when they share the same overall environment. Cash Express Pheno B has been one of our more compact girls. She never needed to become the tallest plant in the room to get our attention. Instead, she developed a beautiful structure with some seriously dense flowers. And unlike her sister, Pheno A, we didn't encounter bud rot during this plant's journey. Two phenotypes from the same cultivar, sharing the same room, but each with her own story. That's exactly why we document them separately! ๐Ÿ’š โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โ„๏ธ DRYING COMPLETE โ€” FROM WHOLE PLANT TO FINISHED FLOWERS As explained in Part 1, Cash Express Pheno B was dried as a whole plant. We didn't use the DryFerm bags for this particular phenotype, and there was no side-by-side drying comparison here. This was simply a whole-plant drying process, followed by trimming once the flowers were ready. The drying environment was shared with the other plants in the room, with temperatures around 20โ€“21ยฐC and relative humidity generally around 55โ€“60%. Once the drying stage was complete, it was time to bring out the scissors and take a closer look at what this girl had produced. And that's when her flowers really started to shine! ๐ŸŒธ Dense. ๐ŸŒธ Compact. ๐ŸŒธ Beautifully formed. ๐ŸŒธ Absolutely worth photographing. She might not have been a massive plant, but the flowers certainly make up for it! โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โœ‚๏ธ TRIMMING TIME โ€” SMALL PLANT, SERIOUS FLOWERS! My friendsโ€ฆ LOOK AT THESE LITTLE BEASTS! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’š One thing that immediately stood out during trimming was the density and compact structure of her flowers. These aren't particularly loose or airy flowers. They're hard, dense, compact fruits, with a beautiful appearance that makes you want to stop every few moments and take another photograph. And, of course, that's exactly what happened! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ The TrimBin and scissors were ready, and we took our time working through the flowers. I really enjoy this stage because it gives us another opportunity to appreciate the final result. During flowering, we're looking at the whole plant and following its development. At harvest, we're looking at the branches and individual flowers. But during trimming, we finally get to appreciate the finished flower structure up close. And Cash Express Pheno B certainly didn't disappoint! She may not have been the biggest plant in the room, but she produced some seriously beautiful fruits. Quality of appearance over plant size โ€” that's what I love to see! FINAL HARVEST NUMBERS And now, let's get to the numbers! After drying and trimming, we have the following results: ๐ŸŒฟ Wet harvest weight: 448.8 g โš–๏ธ Final dry flower weight: 56.1 g That's our final dry flower weight for Cash Express Pheno B. A beautiful result from a compact phenotype! And remember, the numbers are only one part of the story. We also want to appreciate the flower structure, the individual expression, and everything this plant has shown us throughout the journey. For me, she has been a lovely example of how a smaller plant can still deliver some impressive flowers. POST-HARVEST โ€” TIME FOR CURING After trimming, the flowers moved into the curing stage. This is where we continue taking care of the harvest and allow the flowers to settle into their post-drying storage environment. We'll keep monitoring the curing process and give her the time she needs. And one important thing: we're not going to rush into describing her aroma or flavour just yet. That's something I want to explore properly in her smoke review, when we can give the terpene profile and overall experience the attention they deserve. For now, we're celebrating the harvest and documenting the finished flowers. The smoke review will have its own chapter! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ‘ƒ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ‘ƒ WHAT ABOUT HER TERPENE PROFILE? You'll have to wait a little longer for that one, my friends! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’š I want to keep the harvest report focused on the drying, trimming, final numbers, and the beautiful flowers she produced. We'll take a closer look at her aroma, flavour, and overall experience in the upcoming smoke review. And, as always, we'll judge her as an individual phenotype. Her sister has already had her own review, and Pheno B deserves exactly the same treatment. Same cultivar name doesn't mean the same final experience! So stay tuned for that next chapter. ๐Ÿš‚๐ŸŒธ โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ’š FINAL THOUGHTS โ€” THE COMPACT BEAST DELIVERS! Cash Express Pheno B! What a lovely way to finish her journey. She wasn't the biggest plant in the 8ร—8 Adventure, but she certainly made an impression. Her compact structure developed into some beautiful, dense flowers, and the final numbers gave us another reason to appreciate this phenotype. 448.8 g wet. 56.1 g dry. And a whole lot of beautiful flowers to photograph! ๐Ÿ“ธ๐Ÿ’š I particularly enjoyed the trimming session because it gave us the opportunity to appreciate just how dense and compact these flowers really are. She made it through the run without the bud rot issue that affected her sister, and we're happy to have a clean harvest story to document for this phenotype. Now the harvest chapter is complete, and the curing journey continues. The next time we visit Cash Express Pheno B, we'll be looking at her aroma, flavour, effects, and overall smoke experience. But for now, let's give this compact girl the appreciation she deserves! Small plant, big personality, and some seriously beautiful flowers! ๐Ÿ‘‘๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’š โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ™ A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE! As always, none of these adventures would be the same without the people and companies supporting the journey. ๐Ÿ’š Zamnesia โ€” for the Cash Express genetics and for being part of this adventure from seed to harvest. ๐ŸŒฑ Plagron โ€” for supporting the nutritional side of the project. ๐Ÿ’ก Future of Grow โ€” for the Black Series lighting and the additional 600W fixtures that helped us expand our lighting setup. ๐ŸŒฟ LumiFlora โ€” for the additional under-canopy lighting. ๐ŸŽ›๏ธ TrolMaster โ€” for supporting the environmental-control side of the room. And, of course, a massive thank-you to the entire GrowDiaries community! To everyone following the diaries, sharing comments, asking questions, and appreciating the work behind these reports: thank you so much. Your support means a lot! COME JOIN OUR DISCORD COMMUNITY! That's another harvest chapter completed in the 8ร—8 Adventure! Thank you for following Cash Express Pheno B throughout her journey, from seed to harvest. She's been a pleasure to document, and I hope you enjoy these photographs as much as I enjoyed taking them. We'll be back with her smoke review once she's ready for her next chapter. Until thenโ€ฆ Keep learning, keep observing, keep sharing, and never forget to appreciate the individual story behind every plant. LET'S GROW! ๐Ÿš‚๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š ๐Ÿš‚ 8ร—8 Adventure โ€” Cash Express by Zamnesia | Pheno B | Smoke Review ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ’š The Compact Beast Takes the Skatepark! Same Skunky Character, Peppery Personality, and a Heavy After-Dark Experience! ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ”ฅ Hello again, my friends! ๐ŸŒฑ๐Ÿ’š Well, well, wellโ€ฆ It's time to give our beautiful Cash Express Pheno B her final spotlight! And before we get into the experience, I have to say that this girl deserves a special edition photoshoot! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ“ธ As you can see from the photographs, we decided to have a little fun with the dry and cured flowers, bringing out some miniature skateboards for the occasion. Because why should our flowers always have to pose in a jar or on a black background? Sometimes they deserve their own skatepark! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’š But jokes aside, look at those flowers! Compact, dense, beautifully formed, and absolutely lovely to photograph. This girl may not have been the biggest plant in the room, but she certainly delivered some impressive little fruits. And after following her from seed all the way through harvest, it's finally time to talk about the finished experience. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ‘ƒ AROMA & FLAVOUR โ€” SKUNKY WITH A PEPPERY TWIST! Now, I have to be honest. Her profile is remarkably similar to her sister, Cash Express Pheno A. We're getting that same skunky character, accompanied by a peppery twist. If I had to describe her in just a few words, I'd say: SKUNKY. PEPPERY. PUNGENT. Looking through the GrowDiaries flavour categories, the closest options remain: ๐ŸŒธ Flowery ๐ŸŒฟ Herbs ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ Pungent She's not the easiest profile to put into a few flavour categories, but that skunky and peppery combination is what stands out most to me. And yes, her sister was very similar in this department! Two different phenotypes, two individual growing journeys, but a remarkably familiar final profile. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐ŸŒ™ EFFECTS โ€” DEFINITELY AN AFTER-DARK GIRL! And here comes the heavy part! Cash Express Pheno B is not what I'd personally choose when I have a busy day ahead. She's an after-dark kind of girl. A strong, relaxing experience that makes me want to slow everything down, leave the day's responsibilities behind, and enjoy some quiet time. The effects are noticeable both physically and mentally, with a heavy, relaxing character. For me, she's much better suited to those evenings when there's absolutely nothing left on the to-do list. No rushing around. No important tasks. Just time to relax and eventually get some sleep. ๐Ÿ˜ด๐ŸŒ™ Her overall experience is very similar to her sister, and I'd describe both as particularly heavy, relaxing phenotypes. And, of courseโ€ฆ ๐Ÿ’ง DRY MOUTH! She's keeping that family tradition alive! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’š โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ โš–๏ธ FINAL HARVEST REMINDER ๐ŸŒฟ Cultivar: Cash Express by Zamnesia ๐ŸŒฑ Phenotype: B โš–๏ธ Wet harvest weight: 448.8 g โš–๏ธ Final dry flower weight: 56.1 g โญ Final impression: A beautiful compact phenotype with dense flowers and a strong, relaxing experience. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ’š FINAL THOUGHTS โ€” TWO SISTERS, ONE FAMILIAR CHARACTER! Cash Express Pheno B has been a pleasure to document. She was compact, developed some seriously dense flowers, and gave us a beautiful final harvest. Her smoke profile turned out remarkably close to her sister's, with that familiar skunky and peppery character and a heavy, relaxing experience. The main difference between their stories was in the growing journey itself. Pheno A had the unfortunate bud rot incident affecting her main cola, while Pheno B made it through without us encountering that problem. But both gave us something interesting to document, and both deserve their own place in the 8ร—8 Adventure. And let's not forget those special-edition skatepark photographs! ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’š Sometimes growing is serious business. And sometimes we just need to put a beautiful flower on a tiny skateboard and have some fun! Thank you, Cash Express Pheno B, for another lovely chapter in this adventure. โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€โ”€ ๐Ÿ™ A HUGE THANK YOU! ๐Ÿ’š Zamnesia โ€” for the genetics and for being part of this journey from seed to harvest. ๐ŸŒฑ Plagron โ€” for supporting the nutritional side of our adventure. ๐Ÿ’ก Future of Grow โ€” for the Black Series lighting and the additional fixtures that helped expand our lighting setup. ๐ŸŒฟ LumiFlora โ€” for the additional under-canopy lighting. ๐ŸŽ›๏ธ TrolMaster โ€” for supporting our environmental-control setup. Status: Blรผte Tag 28 English: ๐ŸŒฟ Grow Diary โ€“ Flower Day 28 ๐ŸŒฟ Exactly one month since switching to 12/12 โ€“ weโ€™ve officially reached the end of week 4. Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿšฝ๐Ÿ’ฆ๐Ÿšฝ๐Ÿ’ฆ It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ’จ even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop โœ‚๏ธ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! ๐Ÿบ
