well short of it is, i overfed boom mix and now there is a K toxicity which always expresses as a magnesium deficiency. So I decided to give the plant the magnesium it needs to process the K. Plants look like they are recovering already. NEVER FLUSH if you are growing organically.

So on 12/14/21 opened tent to find leaves trying to get away from light, TS 3000 is a powerful light, at 24 inches from top of plants at 25% power it caused leaf folding. Adjusted light to 36 inches and dimmed light to 20%. Leaves are turning a darker shade of green and started praying again. Lesson learned know your light or get a watt meter cause 25% was close to 120 watts of LED. 12/15/21watered plants 100ml of water, except one which was still moist. Noticed green coming back strong now the lights at the right height.12/17/21 Plants fully recovered from my light. Looking vibrant green again.12/18/21 Nutrients fed. 12/19/21 plants are growing vigorously now that the conditions are right on.

The time has come! Flowering has been initiated and is off to a good start, The Photoperiod is now running at 11/13 on/off and the intensity of the light has been bumped up to 60% giving me a DLI of aorund 37.5 at 30" hang height in my 2x4. As the plants where topped a bunch I have found in previous grows the stretch will not be as crazy as if I left them on their own, however the increased pot size may negate that effect, only time will tell :D I also gave them a 2nd watering as the last one was leaving the pots a bit to light. This could be their new normal 1gal one week, 2 gal the next separated by a few days. They have all been amended with a 50/50 mix of grow and bloom from Gaia, Also added in some extra Insect Frass, Yeast and Bokashi grains, mixed this all with worm castings and compost for the top dress. added the compost after mixing it into the top layer so it gives it a bit of a blanket. made a little video of it and me watering the plants on a speed run. One thing I need to find is a sprayer head that has a 70-90 degree bend on it. I'm tired of watering from overhead as my wand is straight and does not have a bend. Its made of hard plastic and was thinking I would toss the tip in the oven to soften it up and place a coat hanger though it, then bend it ever so slightly and wait for it to cool, can snip off the wire and pull it out once its all done and have a bent tip. or I can get a 2nd wand attachment for it. Just been so busy have not had time to search for it, the peppers are doing much better as well, after the defoliation from last week they where getting a bit more light but that is all gone now, the plants have taken it back. and they are in shade, the plants seem to like it more. only the one strain likes the intense light of the led's, Fatalii peppers, It might be the hottest ones I'm growing if the goronong don't measure up. The JigSaw peppers are also starting to show some of their variegation in the leaves that make them pretty to grow now they are in the shade more. and its bound to be better then pure purple leaves from the LED"s Butterwort is eating all the gnats as well. so no problem there. Will apply the nematodes later next week to kill em off in the medium. Don't want them getting trapped in the flowers. stupid little fuckers. I left out some of the extras in the water this week as it was its first topdressing, didn't want to stress it out to much, I will be topdressing every week and diving the total ammount of amendments in 4 parts. vs one big feeding at beginning of the month like its been suggested on the label, I find this helps avoid the N burn I normally see and gives them a bit better of a breakdown for flowering period. It worked really well with my G13 Labs Blue Cindy grow so I am repeating the process and will likely make this my new standard. I will also be adding in some Mg into every other water till stretch is done same with a very light feeding of molasses, I know it has been negative in past grows but going to try it out again with much smaller amounts. 1tea/pot, the extra sugars should work wonders on the Bokashi added into the soil and allow it to thrive. Plants are starting to get more of a funk to them as well, So i feel that's what was happening with the gifted plant to my parents smelling up the place, it was just entering flowering as it was not in a tent n the lighting must have been to low. And the little cuttings I did last week are fine, no roots but will soon have a bunch of little clones to go. Just in time for spring. I think that's it. BB2 and GG2 showing widely scattered amber trichomes on the main cola mostly. Neither tent has a strong smell yet. Not the most fragrant strains, from what I'm reading. Learning to use my USB microscope for trichome pictures. Difficult to hold steady for good pics in the tent. Don't want to pull pots out anymore. Tips for better trichomes pics would be greatly appreciated!

Flowering is going amazing, this candy cane is growing some very fast weight and caking up with Trichome’s. The sweet and slightly minty berry smell is growing in power day by day, and I’m very happy with how the size of the buds are developing since adding the increase of 2-8-4 and fish bone meal, just a little bit, not too much at all and she’s reacting great, knowing that the candy cane is a larger auto in size makes me a bit sad with the total size of this plant, but in its young age as my very first auto I believe I probably stunted it, but after all this and how she looks now Im more than happy with the growth, yield and quality of it, just speaking now as I do not obviously know how much I Will revive from it, I’m guessing about a ounce. No small bud sites other than maybe one on a lower branch that already has a main top cola on it. The main cola is massive and packing on a lot of size. I’ve switched the light to a hour less now as I am growing 2 photo indica L.A grape and with the season change I am having to fix my temp and humidity more for the photos, so changing to a 17-7 schedule has actually helped quite a lot and also has helped my other autos veg slightly better. But all in all I’m very exited!

Day 30 of flower. Do sweet dos strain. Plants in front right. Roughly 30 days left to go in flower. Lights 1212 par value roughly 1000. I keep lowering my light no signs of light burn yet at 19 inches. Day temp 21-26 night 17-21. Rh% is set to 45-55%. Watering every third day. 4L per plant . No runoff. Every third water I give technaflora nutrients at 1400ppm. Water ph 6.2 Ive learned my plants love a water ph around 6.2. Even slightly altering this to 6.7 you can tell they don’t grow as much. Very excited for the next few weeks as you just sit back and watch them fatten up. See y’all next week.

I have cut down in jar everything the wait was 114 grams please consider that when it comes to my weight I wait until the main stem breaks with a loud crunch and the buds are really dry to the touch reason for it I have a very busy life and at the end of the day this is just a hobby so I cannot be opening those jars many times a day at most one in the morning and one in the night so I want to avoid mold on them so I push in a Boveda pack to keep them nice . I will update with flavours and other details once I try it I've I have been smoking a different strain that I will review today . After 4 weeks curing in jars the smoke it is very smooth very nice taste like tropical citrusy with a hint of skunk buds are very smelly and hybrid density to them very enjoyable to have . thank you for reading have a happy grow

the temperature has risen to 32 degrees.. but flowering continues without problems.I have no way to lower the temperatures, just over a month and they should be ready. I made a mistake by adding the top dress, thinking it would help during the flowering stage. But since the plants only spent one week in supersoil before I switched to flowering, I added a tablespoon per 7 liters during the third week of 12/12 light. Given how short the vegetative phase was, I’ve realized that the top dress wasn’t necessary. waiting until the end of September for the next run the height of only 150 cm of the growbox does not help in counteracting the heat. Gorilla cookies is a great beginner plant. I had my humidifier too close to GC early on causing rust spots. Week 6 there is no signs of rust spots and growth is consistent with the bigger plants in the tent. I was thinking this plant maybe behind given the rust spots, it caught right up, healthy hardy strain.

right in 2nd week of flower and they have lost their smell? prob because it is so dry and they have started flowering. I gave them bloom amendments last week. lets see if they are in a better place next time i see them. These were clones from a grow buddy but it looks like the pheno was not really deserving of cloning. hope it smokes well.

Another week has flown by! The girls are doing great, cruise control this week as I have just been monitoring RH and temps. Trying to keep them as low as possible, I’ve been getting as low as 74 during the day and 68 at night. I finally took a look a look at the trichomes with my jewellers loop, lots of cloudy, and a few amber around the leaves and top colas, but still lot’s of clear trichomes. I’ve ordered myself a wireless/usb digital microscope to assist with the process, and looks like it will be here just in time to determine harvest day. 😎🎄 I started by eliminating the nutrients at the beginning of the week. I typically allow for 3-4 pure water feeds before I harvest, and at the rate they have been drinking, this should be enough to get through the 7-12 days they have before harvest. I don’t flush, but rather “rinse” with normal water amounts, allowing the plant to use up the remaining nutrients in the soil. This also allows me to recover most of the soil from my grows and reuse ♻️ with other soil mix. There has been great debate and a great deal of bro science out there for many years, but the recent studies suggest there is no difference in end result when it comes to flushing or using nutrients right until the end, if a proper dry and cure is performed.
