Day 61 for The Tropical Ice Cream One 🍦 She stretched quite a bit and is now officially in week 1 of flowering. The canopy is already nice and flat so I've kept training to a minimum. She seems to be enjoying herself: VPD is around 1.3 and PPFD between 700-800. Bud sites are developing nicely and I'm excited to see how she performs over the next couple of weeks. This strain was a pleasure to grow! It was a strong, the most spectacular plant from the group. Always stepping up. The pheno was very resillient, growth was very fast and first pistils showed up after two weeks. Little neglected her when the stretch phase started - didn’t tie her down enough so she got a bit leggy (78cm tall) so there wasn’t really even canopy. And halfway through the flowering Magnesium deficiency or a lockout occured and never found a good solution to fix that. What Ive read Kushes need very large amounts of Ca&Mg during the flowering, and might be that 3:1 ratio of Ca:Mg had a synergism and decreased availability due the excess of other. Still managed to get some massive main colas. And can’t say enough how pleased I’m the colors! This plant growth was simply art.

Defoliation happened mid week before a trip away for a few days got home today to see they have just popped. Growing very nicely even the little one that was pegged down to spread it out. Plants ranging from 20cm to 35cm and all looking very happy with themselves. They have also been getting some 90’s grunge music that apparently they dance along to

No complaints this week. All the ladies are growing strong and healthy. Remember how stunted this plant was a few weeks ago? Now she stands taller than some of the other ladies. Speaking of, I have my 2nd trellis positioned exactly 12 inches a part from the 1st trellis. As you can see. There are many Colas that are over a foot long. Spliff Seeds... Dutch Blue Automatic. They are loving life in my simulated tropical invirment. 78 degrees with 65% humidity with long days.

Days 78-84 - Been lax in updates, but I still log every week to completion. Back injury in addition to The Nineteen, Rona Style, has been a bit of a pain in the posterior. (That means ass) Plants are gigantic and sassy. Had Dangergirl come out and defoliate/lollipop the bottoms out of the girls, saving me painful labor and increasing my yields, so yay for her! Plants are happy, pompoms are getting thick, and everything looks good. Switched FF01 to flower on day 84.

Haven't filled this in for a while - previous pics are 2 months old now. Spider mite problems still at large. Found a spray to 'contain them' But never stopped them but killed and stunned the eggs I believe. After 3-4 days they would be back on the leaf.

Day 43 of flower. I took some leaves out to bring in light to the lower canopy. But other then that everything is chugging along.

03/01/2022 You can tell which I put in flower room first, buds developing nicely 🙏🏻 Second one is a week behind but starting to flower have to raise the lights this week.

I removed a couple fan leaves and immature undergrowth. It's been a couple weeks in flower and no bud sites formed yet. I'm surprised. This strain must have a longer growth cycle over 9 weeks. Or she's just a late bloomer. Her pistils and first small bud sites are coming out after a bit over 2 weeks in flower. It is very bushy and thirsty so I trimmed it. This strain is showing less heat stress than the predecessor under the same light.

I am currently looking for the best chronic weed. No idea

Week 4

This plant is finally over. This was my very first plant in general and I went with DWC. The learning and experience I have got has been bountiful. This was not as easy as I figured to be but I have a huge appreciation now. --------Mistakes------------ I topped the plant twice super stunted snapped a main branch. Put it back together with tape it survived Took me 1 full month to figure out the nutrient ratio to provide got discouraged from the mistakes and neglected the plant for 3 weeks Had light burn while trying to figure out what light it can handle ---------Overall Results------- With this being my first run in a DWC I am happy with the results. I got 50grams overall of very sticky covered with trichomes larf that has a beautiful fruit loops aroma to her She smokes really good for what it is. She has small buds that aren't very dense and burns pretty fast because how leafy Taste great, gives a great high, smooth smoke through a Volcano With the grow and the overall way the plant has came out with this harvest I give myself a grade A lot of room to improve but with it being my first grow and the amount I learned overall I give myself a GRADE: C+ Was a great experience and I can't wait for what the future holds with my homegrown experience!! Vamos familia, como me gusta todo lo que provenga gelato, no sé porque pero me vuelve loco ese sabor y ese high tan bestial. Pues aquí va otra semana de las gelato olandese de dutchfem seeds , y ahora si que van con buen ritmo ,tienen un color y un vigor increíble una que no tenia mucha vegetación al final saco un par de laterales monumentales.
