03-09-2025 I have found some white hairs in my buds and it scared the shit out of me 😱☠️ I immediately thought of bud rot, again. A close examination of the bud helped me find the culprit: a caterpillar 🐛!! I saw it’s arse sticking out my bud. I poked it with my scissors ✂️ and it fell out of my bud, hanging by its wire. I fed him to the chickens. Some leaves are turning yellow. I cut them off. The plant is reaching its end and I should watch it closely.

They're doing their thing. They're following their own rhythm. They're developing their flowers. And we're not trying to constantly interfere with that process. There's no major training. No major reshaping. No unnecessary intervention. We observe. We maintain. We provide. And we let the plants finish their stories. And Purple CousKush? She may be starting to tell us that her story is getting close to the final chapters. 🌸 ──────────────────────── 🌱 The 8×8 Adventure — When the Plants Start Writing the Ending For anyone discovering this diary for the first time, welcome to the 8×8 Adventure. Same grower. But different genetics. Different phenotypes. Different expressions. Different rhythms. And now we're reaching one of the most interesting parts of the experiment. The plants are starting to show us not only who they are... but how they want to finish. Some are still pushing hard. Some are still developing. Some are moving faster. Some are moving slower. And she's absolutely covered in frost. ❄️❄️❄️ Honestly... the resin production on this girl is becoming one of the first things I notice when I look at her. You don't have to search for it. You don't have to wonder whether she's getting frosty. She's basically announcing it. 😂💜 The flowers have that sparkling appearance that makes you want to get closer and closer with the camera. And the closer you get... the crazier it becomes. Trichomes everywhere. Resin-covered surfaces. Beautiful flowering structures. Tiny details catching the light. This is one seriously frosty girl. And I absolutely love it. ──────────────────────── ❄️ Frost Levels: Completely Ridiculous Let's just give this its own section. Because... wow. 😂❄️💜 The frost on Purple CousKush Pheno A is absolutely out of this world. She's reaching that stage where the flowers almost stop looking like they're simply covered in resin... and start looking like the resin is part of the flower itself. Every angle seems to reveal another layer. And this is exactly why I love having the camera around during this stage. The naked eye sees a beautiful flowering plant. The macro lens says: "Hold my beer." 😂📸❄️ Suddenly you see an entire world of tiny structures. Trichomes. Resin. Pistils. Calyxes. Sugar leaves. Texture. Light reflecting off everything. And Purple CousKush is giving us plenty to photograph. ──────────────────────── 🌸 The Flowers Are Looking More Mature The flowers themselves are continuing to develop nicely. They're established now. We're well beyond the stage of wondering what the plant is going to look like. She's showing us. And she's showing us beautifully. The structures are substantial. The flower sites are well defined. The resin is heavy. And there's a clear sense that the plant is moving toward maturity. This is one of those stages where the changes from week to week can become more subtle. And that's what makes me think she may be approaching her final run. Not necessarily tomorrow. Not necessarily next week. I'm not putting a date on it. But she's definitely giving me the impression that she's beginning to wind things down. She's basically saying: "I've done a lot of work here. I might be getting ready to clock out." 😂💜 And I'm listening. ──────────────────────── 🌱 The Final Stage Is Starting to Show One of the things I enjoy about growing is that plants don't always need to tell you exactly what's happening. Sometimes they simply show you. The overall appearance changes. The foliage begins to fade. The flowers look increasingly mature. The plant's energy seems to shift. And eventually you start seeing a very different version of the plant compared with the one you met earlier in the run. That's what I'm beginning to see here. Purple CousKush isn't looking unhealthy. She's looking like a flowering plant approaching the later part of her journey. There's a difference. And it's an important one. So for now... we observe. We don't panic. We don't start making unnecessary changes just because the leaves are changing colour. We simply acknowledge what the plant is showing us. The Future of Grow Black Series LEDs continue providing the main overhead lighting, with the additional fixtures now part of the upgraded lighting setup. We've already adjusted the output to approximately 59% from the plug after adding the two additional Black Series 600W fixtures. We're working around: ☀️ ~1,500 PPFD across the upper canopy with intensity naturally changing according to plant height and position. And Purple CousKush continues making absolutely beautiful use of those photons. She's not suddenly changing her architecture. She's not trying to stretch. She's simply continuing to finish what she started. Finally! it's the Day I've waited for and now i can't believe it's actually done. The plant is hanging in the tent, looking so good. Like she is the prettiest plant i've ever grown. I don't know how to show it better on pictures, but i just upped my weed quality. Super dense, super frosty, SUPER LOUD! 10/10 I LOVE this strain! i can't imagine her being cured hahahaha Thank you, Fast Buds for providing me the seeds! Hi everyone! Today i installed the first of two scrog nets. I think about 2 weeks of vegetation are enough for the rest to reach the hight. I watering them 2 or 3 times the week about 2 ½l clear water.

Watering when dry only & doing my experimental grooming still . From the looks of it it’s working exceptionally well. Not much to report other than it’s time to do more LST. Only 1 of the 3 have thrown preflower pistals beginning 1 week ago . Another week on the GreeneScene in the books 📚

A-1 of a plant just like the gorilla cookies auto. Massive buds with a huge plant structure. This plant will fill up any space you give it. Giant round rungs all over. Super dank when I was wet trimming the plant about every 2 min I had to clean off the gunk on the scissors this plant definitely has some huge tricombs. It doesn’t look like it but when you cut into it you can really see. There buds are gonna be awae to smoke just like the gorilla cookies auto. This strain has potential to breed with some fire

Day 43 - She is streching! Did some very carefull LST. I think she wants more N, i´ll add 1ml/L of Fish-Mix to see how she responds. Day 45 - Fed her today, nutrient amount corresponds to the chart above. Day 47 - Explosive growth continues, i think she loved the extra fish-mix! See diference between days 44 and 47! Leaves have darken a bit, but due to GD image coding, i dont think you can tell so well. Day 49 - She´s pretty happy, did dome minor LST adjustments. I think she is finishing her stretch. Next week will arrive my Carboload and Big Bud by Advanced nutrients, which i will introduce :) Maybe with foliar

First week in water.

Good stretch this week, I haven’t lollipopped at all, not even in veg. It’s fairly leafy everywhere and I want to get in there and defoliate bottom 1/3 soon. A lot of dead leaves I imagine, just been so busy and been neglecting the grow. Funny, how when you first start out and you’re overly micro-managing and then as the months go by, it starts to become a chore. I ordered a light from China, a Meijiu (HLG)550 V3. HLG Canada didn’t want to give me a decent discount so, unfortunately had to ship my money outside the country. Saved 50% for a quality light though. Might take a bit to get here, been processing in Hong Kong for 4 days. So far the leaves are healthy but last run they started to turn deficient after the stretch. In my defence, with the last grow, I was just starting on the dry nutrient regimen and made mistakes. Hopefully it stays healthy throughout bloom cycle with new changes and knowledge. New reservoir this week as follows: Partial drain, most of it gone, but 100mL RO added and; 40 gram cal nit 30 jacks 30 mag sulph. 100mL mighty bloom enhancer 100mL head masta 300 mL h2o2 25 mL Fulvic 40mL Humic pH ended up high with addition of bloom enhancer, added pH down to 5.8. PPM 1360. Wednesday-Day 10 Added water and some nutes. PPM 1200 pH 6.0 Started a small section of lower 1/3 defoliation Day 11 Did some more defoliation, added a video to show progress. Day 12 Finished lollipop on right plant. Moved some branches around. Added 20 liters and 20g cal nit, 10g of both jacks and magnesium sulphate.

7/4 - When I came into the tent this morning all the Jacks were praying! Even my little Struggling Jack (who is looking great). I have to believe it was the worms. I did nothing else. I watered all with Trinity and RO Water. JH2 has nearly completely recovered from her deficiencies. Her leaves look great. Very little sign of any of the previous damage. 7/6 - I'm amazed at how well JH2 is doing! I had to take a little video to show how well she has recovered. She has nearly no visible damage left to her leaves. She is very green and looks happy. The other two have completely recovered, but they were no where near as bad as JH2 was. I watered them today with just RO water, CalMag, and Extreme Serene as they will get fed tomorrow. I also did a foliar spray of the Extreme Serene on all. 7/9 - Watered with RO water and Molasses today. The Jack Herers look super healthy and happy, even the one that was struggling. I left one of the Jack o'natural. I didn't top her or do any real LST because she had some deficiencies at the time and I didn't want to stunt her even further. Now that she's healthy, it's too late. I'm flipping them to flower next week and that's just not enough time for her to recover. So, I thought I would leave her as is and see how she turns out in her natural, Xmas tree shape!
