Beginning of week... Beginning of first flush week! So excited!!! I put 4mL of FloraKleen into 3L of pH'd water.. Going in: 160 PPM.. Runoff: 700 PPM.. I may run 1 more flush of FloraKleen through the medium in the AM.. Will be updating on the runoff as I go.. Just makes better sense to check runoff to me.. I know some people dont do it.. And claim its pointless.. But I think runoff tells you ALOT.. I think the runoff reading is just from what was built into the medium still.. I just like to make sure she's getting nice and flushed for a good while.. And if the trichomes arent where I want them to be at the end of the 2 week flush I will flush for another week.. But only if needed.. Anyways.. Hope these 2 weeks fly by cuz the week before this didnt at all! Lol.. Next day.. Today is day 2 of flushing.. Used FloraKleen once again.. This time the runoff came out at 640 PPM.. Gettin there lol.. Tonight I'm going to just run 3L of pH'd water and same tomorrow morning.. Will update in the AM Later that night.. Lol.. This time the runoff came out at 750 PPM.. I'm guessing its just more nutrients that were built up in there.. Jeez.. So tomorrow I am just going to flush pH'd water in the AM and in the PM.. With more updates on how that goes.. I also lowered the light down to 12 inches from the tallest colas.. According to the PPFD chart Mars Hydro has, the tall colas (but outside of the footprint) should be getting close to 800 PAR and the shorter (but in the middle of the footprint) should be getting.. Roughly around the same I suppose.. The inside branches are still about 14 - 16 inches from the light.. Wish I would have been able to keep the canopy more even.. But I went with a LST technique that helped me keep all the branches instead of removing some.. Like instead of bending the plant over (to make a "T") to where some branches should probably just be removed because they are going straight into the medium lol.. But this time I tried to bend her over a little different (to make an "X") so that all the branches wouldn't be going straight into the medium.. Idk.. something I've been trying to figure out on my own lol.. But I think I prefer the "T" because it is easier to keep each branch, and it's twin, fairly even throughout the grow.. But I'm still happy asf how this grow has gone so far.. Should have lollipopped a bit too.. But I still enjoy smoking every last bit of these ladies.. And if they are too popcorn-ish, I'll just throw them in a bubble bag with the trim.. Still gonna be happy with the outcome either way!!! Autos are fun.. But I think I still prefer to control when flowering begins.. I know a 2×2 isn't ideal for this.. But I really wanna try to ScrOG a girl in this tent! Just to give it a shot and see how much of a difference it can make in yeild.. Anyways.. Will update tomorrow with the runoff and whatnot!... NEXT day after THAT (Almost mid week)... This AM the runoff came out 444 PPM.. Since I already mixed some pH'd water, I'm gonna use it later tonight.. With an update.. Lol Later that night... Runoff is still coming out about 400 PPM.. Decided to check the pH and the runoff is coming out at 7.. The fuck!? Maybe I forgot to pH earlier this week.. Idk. Whatever lol.. Mid week.. Runoff came out at 333 PPM this morning.. Just going to go back to one watering a day till harvest now. Hope I can get it down to 200 PPM or lower for the last week at least.. But still not sure if I will be letting it go an extra week or not.. We shall see how it goes till then.. The nug I attempted to pollinate didnt take.. Guessing the pollen was too old.. Trashed it.. It was feminized pollen but wasnt the greatest genetics either.. So no loss there.. But the nug looks kinda pathetic.. The pic shows it next to its sister nug and that one still looks good.. Maybe cuz Ive been fucking with it alot.. But whatev.. Shit happens.. May still keep updating the runoff daily.. May not.. See how I feel tomorrow lol Next day.. Runoff came out at 330 PPM again this morning.. Not bad, I suppose.. Alot lower than what its been before I started using this Brita filter lol.. May use Florakleen once more at the beginning of the next week.. Then just water till harvest. Just to see if I can get it down a little more. If not, I'm sure it'll be fine. The fan blowing on the undedside of the light slipped off the pole and was chopping away at one of the colas.. Luckily none of the buds were damaged.. Trichomes definately got knocked off tho lol.. And mostly leaf damage.. This girl smells so fucking amazing.. The colors are awesome.. I don't think I can find another strain to top this one lol.. We shall see tho... Almost end of week.. Runoff came down to 280 PPM this morning.. Niceeee.. I can live with that.. As long as it's not 400+ PPM I think it should be fine.. The main top cola is showing a nice amount of cloudy.. And the very bottom 2 stems are cloudy also.. But the rest of the plant seems moslty clear but also have some cloudy/milky along with them.. I can find a few amber in spots.. Will be updating with pics tomorrow along with some trichome shots!!!... End of week.. Today's runoff came out at 260 PPM.. Niceeee.. I tried to get alot of trichome shots but I just don't have a steady enough hand.. A couple colas have some amber coming it on the very top calyxes.. Some colas are cloudy.. Almost there!!! Not sure if I am gonna take this just 1 more week or 2 more weeks.. We will see how she looks at the end of the next week... As for now.. On to the next week!!!...

30/08 They both on the surface So, lil amount of water + low DLI about 10 to 15 to start with. That´s about the advice I have gotten the last month... cause we need to do somethin about our succes rate!!!!!!! Hi ladies 👐👐👐😊 all good... 2 identical seedlings... they are both against the side of the wall, out of the sun, into the shade. The outdoor sunscreen is very reflective, so enough light! Not too much water... 🤞🤞🙏 31/08 flower mix is jump startin 👍 Feelso right man!! ❤️❤️ in the tent 👍 gonna keep an eye on the DLI !!!! Not too much water 🤭 spray the surface daily Moved into the tent, lookin to create some shade, 10 tot 15 DLI... 🤞🤞🤞 first 2 days doin excellent!! 😍😍😍 3th day and still goin, sprayin them with water, stretchin a bit... Now this baby was a delight to grow and grew real big. I decided to leave this lady to do her own thing and she ended up finishing just short of 6ft! The main cola was huge and juicy and all round the end result was really nice and super strong just the way it should be.

7/19 Rained all last night. Weather report says it will be rainy for several days. I "suited up" did some slight defoliation and fed two gallons to the garden. Still need to apply BT and get inside and prune with clippers. I'm hesitant due to this huge rash but I need to find a way to do this. Plants look good just need to be cleaned up. 7/20 No water as it's been pretty rainy. Thunderstorms tonight and rain tomorrow. I'll have to wait to apply either Spinosid or BT (as a preventative). I took down the tarps on the back. The wind isn't bad. Usually it's like a wind tunnel but I think this was the right decision. They are still attached at the bottom so the cam go back up quick if high winds come. Considering top dressing with cow manure. It's what I have on hand. I also need to find time to defoliate inside the plants. I'll have to do it when it's wet I guess to avoid the moths. I saw nests at my girlfriend's house on a bunch of apple trees so maybe I got this rash there. I hope so. 7/21 I watered despite some of the soil being damp. It MIGHT rain today but even if it does it wouldn't REALLY give my plants the water they are used to. I also cut some branches inside the plants. I have a lot more to do though. I found a brown-tail moth caterpillar crawling on the soil of one of those buckets outside my cage. Leaving his little poisonous hairs behind. I killed it with fire. I'll update after I spray and/or prune. Humidity is 98% today 70 degrees at 9am. "I'm going to need a bigger boat." 7/22 I put the tarps back up after finding the tall unsupported plant looked all blown over. I removed it from the cage. It's a 30 gallon tote so it opened up my area a little more. I watered this morning as it's supposed to be a nice sunny hot day. Later I plan to LST that seedling that I just left in the 30 gallon tote and kinda neglected. At least I didn't show it the love I had the clones. It's in reveg as well (the only one) and I'm questioning whether it might have a better home elsewhere. I'll check it out when I go for my evening inspection. Looks like possible thunderstorms tonight so I don't know if spraying is feasible. Thank you to all who have been following and helping me on this journey. Much cooler than it has been 65 degrees at 10:30am. 7/23 Watered this morning. I also did some defoliation and pruned lower limbs. I need a night without rain so I can continue with my IPM. I see pillar damage so it will probably be BT that I use. I weed Wacked around the cage this morning and was planning to feed but I ran out of time. The girls will have to wait until tomorrow to eat. The garden looks very healthy as a whole. Slight issues here and there but nothing an outdoor grower wouldn't expect. It's been a great year for growing cannabis thus far! I'll do another video once I get the cage weed Wacked. 7/24 Watered slightly before I Fed two gallons to the garden. Still have leaves turning yellow and falling off but I think its normal. At least the same thing happened the last two years right around this time. Plants have EXPLODED in growth and look great. The stretch is real. I took a minute video that might or might not upload. Took a few pictures too. Internet is pretty slow so I'll probably have to upload pics tomm. Reached the 80s today. Nice and sunny. Oh and walking down to the garden is like getting punched in the face by a skunk lol. The smell is incredible. 7/25 No water as it is supposed to rain today and they drank pretty good yesterday. Still need to defoliate a bit. A few of the seedlings are reveging. That's ok though. I hate seeing leaves die but looking at my previous diary (and the paper one before that) it seems to happen the same time of year right when the stretch starts. For the most part the garden is in preflower so I may start the next week as flower. I also STILL need to spray preventative. I don't really have a problem (besides slight pm and a few random critters but hey it's outdoors) but I need to keep up with the IPM. Im super happy with progress this far.

Week 4 - 01/22 to 01/28 2021 Pictures from Days 25 + 26 TRANSPLANTED! Might have waited too long but hopefully the transplant and LST stress might slow the plant down since i think it's already flipping to flower like the other @SweetSeeds Dark Devil Auto and the Purple Lemonade from @FastBuds. I think the Red Poison might have been the first one I noticed to flip but at least this one will be quick. More and more reasons to go back to a photoperiod grow after this for more control/really test out the new lights 🙌 Ended up more 50/50 ratio of Destiny Organic's Dark Matter Living Soil + ProMixHP since I had to make the Destiny last. Apparently they went out of business just after I decided it was my favourite/new soil :( Would rather stay away from Ocean Floor since I haven't had the best experiences with it (bugs/rust fungus etc) Feel free to drop some recommendations other than Fox Farms below 👍 The Red Poison Auto is going strong other wise, keeping the LST basic to see if I can still get the screen in the tent but it wouldn't be practical at this point. I raised the @ViparSpectraLED P1500 another eight inches after transplant and started basic LST. I really wanted to get these four under a ScrOG but if 3/4 are already flipping and the LSD is still runty I might have to wait it out again. Just like the Dark Devil in my other Sweet Seeds diary, there is a solid smell on the fingers after adjusting it/when the fan hit it just right 😍 I have the @MarsHydroLED TSL2000 set up and ready to go once the girls settle into their new pots. Have the new surge protector/heavy duty power cords/power tool grade timers as mentioned in Week 3. Some of it shown in the pictures. Threw some videos in this week as well with some Queen's Radio GaGa, Beastie Boys' Brass Monkey, and a little hint of Arkells ....COME TO LIGHT on the short @ViparSpectraLED ..GET IT.. 😓 I thought the Red Poison had the streaks in the leaves but turns out it was the Purple Lemonade, My Chocolate Mint OG Auto just finished curing so I must have made that update during the test session 😎 Chocolate Mint OG Auto Diary: https://growdiaries.com/diaries/77696-humboldt-seeds-chocolate-mint-og-auto-grow-journal-by-glazedgrow -- Thanks for checking in! Our #15 or rather this new creation by Seeds Mafia that we are growing with love is starting to get serious. It grows well and in a very regular way, the leaves are clean and it has a characteristic that makes the plants always very beautiful and special, it has low internodal distance, so don't top and let it go when you see autoflowering like this. We have started with fertilizers for growth which we give in reduced doses together with the rooting agent for the entire vegetative phase. Music of the week provided by Radio Nula from Slovenia. https://radionula.com/ Thanks to friends of Seeds Mafia try this and their other creations seeds > https://seedsmafia.com/en/ Light and tent > https://marshydro.eu/products/marshydro-sp3000-led/?lang=it

Day 50 - 2/1/22 - All have now received 2 rounds of Tiger Bloom +Sweet and Sticky and 2 rounds of Cal-Mag and Sweet + Sticky - and they freaking LOVE IT! Maybe it's genetics but the buds on the 2 more mature ones are fattening up nicely. A noticeable change from yesterday. I am on the right track... I gotta start thinking about the Harvest, Drying, and Curing stages! Day 70 is the general harvest day... Day 53 - 16 days till harvest (maybe) says the genetic description. So I did my first flush with filtered and Ph'd water. Almost a gallon per plant. Wondering if there will be a final push to fatten up the buds. Either way this has already been a successful grow! Note to self - be aware of the changing light to plant distance. I had the bigger one a little too close and she told me via yellowing leaves. Caught it in time but still a rookie mistake! Day 56 - gave them some FF Big Bloom. Not sure exactly why... I'm pretty sure I was thinking, finally, about micro-nutrients. Overall I started applying nutes a little too late - another rookie mistake. But this is how we learn. We go thru the process! Gonna add a couple new pics from this Windows Surface Pro 7 camera. Never used it before now. Let's see if it's better in the bright lights...

First of all a massive thanks to the guys at Ripper Seeds, and also GD for giving me these beans after placing top 10 in the Jan 18 Diary of the Month Comp ✌️👊 and thank you to all you guys that like/follow and comment each week, you all know it's always appreciated. When I run this girl again I'll be letting her grow bigger and thicker in structure before going into flower. She still turned out great, but with another week in the veg tent I know she would have yielded more, and would have stretched a bit more. Because I have 4 seperate plants/strains in one tent, under one light, I've had to calculate these by dividing the conditions by 4 (4 plants in total sharing same conditions). This is the fairest and only way to work it out on average as a full tent. Happy growing! 🐺

Week 4 seemed a bit slow at first, but i also realised that I wasn't treating coco appropriately, I should feed nutrients every time I water and control the ph and ppm better. By the end of week 4 I got a water quality tester and am now able to properly take my ph down and monitor ppm so my plants don't get nutrient burned, but still gets enough nutrients in time. I also allowed good amount of the top layer of my coco to dry because I mixed up advice that received about soil and coco together. Apparently coco has no issues with overwatering unless your pots have no drainage so in the last 2 days I started treating coco the way it's supposed to be treated, I also finally got calmag and my plants are showing good signs of health past 3 days, they look revitalised and happy again 😊 Unfortunately, apple fritter was way too sick for me to continue with it so I restarted it in a proper coco and perlite mix that's non fertilised, that's a separate diary because its a whole month later. I decided not to train the first 2 plants just to see how the natural process is supposed to go.
