Well the genetics from this line still continue to impress me they are quick germinating seeds and have a fast growth rate once in the ground . I wanted to try these strains for a while and was hoping this would be a great to smoke . I'm not disappointed at all it's got great terps and Dense buds with sticky trichomes . The plant grew like an indica in fan leaf shape but had long colas almost like a sativa .. The grow was organic for the most part and gave me the chance to try a legendary strain . She had a great outdoors presence its a gorgeous flower to run outdoors had no issues with the bud rot and pm was almost never there .. That being said better training with a more steady feeding. Line up would have gotten me a better harvests but for now I'm happy with it .. next year I will do a few more strains I got left ( stinkin bishop )

Ich war am WE unterwegs, daher gibt es da keine Bilder

Nachdem ich ein paar Triebe aus Versehen abbrach, lies ich vergangene Woche die Pflanzen in ruhe. Mittlerweile war alles zugewuchert, weshalb ich mich dazu entschloss, einige Blätter zu entfernen und mit etwas LST zu starten um die Pflanzen auf das kommende SCROG´ing vorzubereiten

First week was running quite well. VPD could be more on point but it's alright. The lights are now at 25% (~66W). I'm just not quite sure if I should just let them grow or if I should LST them. Allegedly King's Juice has a nice natural structure. Oh boy I just had to put an early update in. King's Juice #3 is exploding while #1 is continuing to be the drama queen

SUNDAY 5/5: Rearranged the gardens..have 17 plants in the 4 x 5 now...yowsa! MONDAY: Plucked some dead leaves and did a trichrome check on the furthest along. She's ready! I'll start flushing her tomorrow or Wednesday.👍 TUESDAY: I observed some white spots(maybe powdery mildew) on a few leaves here and there throughout the garden, so I sprayed them today with Trifecta Crop Cure, a concoction of a bunch of natural plant oils. I already decreased the humidity in the room to 45% with my new 70L dehumidifier, so I think they'll be fine. I'll spray them again tomorrow and the next day, then I'll have to hope that did the trick, because a couple of these hybrids are already in the harvest window. WEDNESDAY: I flushed one of them and watered the rest today and included a bunch of terpinator, bud candy, bembe, and cha ching. It was possibly their last dose of any nutes...but a couple might get one more dose... THURSDAY: Took a couple of photos and tried installing my new Solacure FlowerPower UVB light, but it was dead on arrival.😢..back to the 15.0 reptile UVB lights for now I guess...

Day 57: Girls looking good and healthy. Got the HLG turned up 100% pumping 500 watt to em! We shall see. Still only given around 500ppm nutes. Day 58: Got mostly cloudy with just a couple amber it looks like. I'm thinking I need to start flushing. Albeit, only on one plant. I will wait a few days more until I make a decision. Day 59: Still looking beautiful! Buds are getting thicker! Decided I will give MOAB till week 10 and check the tric's at that time. Prob start flushing at that time. Only time will tell. Day 60: Girls looking good. 👊 Not gonna lie, getting nervous as I do not want to cut em too soon or too late. This is a tough spot. The one has a ton of red hairs. It looked as if there was just a couple of amber that I found the other day. I was looking on the outside of the buds, also. So I know the inside is where I need to look. Just not wanting to jack with them too much. I will check again at end of week. Day 61: Busy. No updates. Day 62: These girls are starting to smell amazing!! I don't see any noticeable growth here lately. I'm hoping they start to bulk even more though as I think I am still seeing some clear trichomes. Day 63: Welp, all is well and no new updates. I been feeding pretty heavy so I will back off and just water tomorrow.

2/17: I spent a little time rearranging today. I bought some 32" x 14" plastic ventilated storage shelves and cut the legs down on two of them so I have some different-height platforms for the shorties in the garden. I should also be able to easily flush 6 plants in 5 gallon pots, or 9 plants in 3 gallon pots at a time now, that's a win!👈 2/18: I debated whether to feed or not, and settled on watering them with about 1/2 gallon each. including bembe, cal-mag, signal, humic acid, and a little beastie bloomz. The new dehumidifier is pulling about a gallon and a half per day from the air, so I should be able to feed them in a coupe of days. I've reached the ceiling again with my lights and all three are still stretching. I've either tied down or supercropped all the branches on the two taller ones at this point. 2/19: Rainy day outside, so I'm pulling in 99% humidity, plus the pots are still petty saturated, but the new dehumidifier is keeping up. RH is holding at about 45% today.👍 2/20: Day 31 of flower...they grew another couple of inches overnight! Damnit!😟 After emptying the closet (again) today and supercropping more branches (and some of the same branches again), a semi-solution occurred to me that allowed me to raise the lights another 3-4 inches! Now I'm truly maxxed out... Word to the wise..you get the idea from the 49-day estimate that FF#11, being Indica-dominant, will be short/squatty/fast, but I can say that this strain, if well fed and illuminated, consistently produces absolute monsters...slow to flower.. 300%+ stretch from whenever you start flowering them. I really needed everybody to finish in the same week so I could get my Spring autos going...😶 I'm still hoping that they will get their groove-on and finish by the EHD(3/11), but it's not looking possible at this point... They're likely to be the heaviest producers in the garden, so that's pretty good consolation I suppose. I took photos and videos of all the plants today since I had to empty the closet and it wasn't a feeding day. 2/21: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including beastie bloomz, tiger bloom, big bloom, signal, bembe, and cal-mag...no grow big this time. 2/22: MONSTERS..they're such a pain in the ass, but I do love them so! During veg, they were pretty dark green, but they've lightened up quite a bit. They are still the slowest to flower, but they're stacking up nodes really nicely.👍 2/23: I ordered some Terpinator because I'm not so sure about Signal's efficacy at this point....I'm usually dealing with odors more by now..😕 That's it for week 9-

Another straightforward week in the grow room. All three Phenos continue to look fine with good leaf color. I've been working on this super soil recipe for three grows now. I learn a little more with each attempt and come to find this particular blend in larger 7 gallon grow bags IMHO is passing the eye test. All three are in stretch, so I'll continue to keep an eye out over the next 2-3 weeks. In the 3x3, I have manage height. No additional feedings just watered ph'd between 5.8 and 6.2. I do water at top as well as bottom (wicking). These girls are already beginning to exhibit a loud smell. Just bought a new carbon filter, which I will swap out today. This closes out the week. This plant was an absolute dream to. Grow, no issues at all with health of plant, just struggled to tame her as she was a a thick strong climber 💪💪. I'm so impressed with how this turned out, I could have flushed for another 3 days to make it 12days but I needed the space. After The 2 days of dark I was recommended I can definitely say it has vastly boosted her trichomes and the smell when I opened the tent blew my head away 😍😋 Aiming for a 10-14 day hang dry, The 10-12 weeks curing in jars with humidity packs. I will update with a dry bud weight and smoke test 👌 Bud wet weight is just 500g+ Final bud dry weight is 298g. Of juicy resinous purple and orange buds 😍 smells like sherbert and hang dry smoke test revealed a candy sherbert, no banana yet but hoping like the grow it matures with cure process now. Hits eyes straight away, sandy bottom kids, giggles, munchies, fun time with Mrs, bed. Fat Bastard sure looks pretty fat👍 I'll try drying for at least a week with both temp and humidity between 55-60. I may go check the wet weight, but😕 I'm curious to see how fat bastard turns out. Smells skunky/sweet-fruity, can't wait. Hung a wet towel in the closet to help keep the humidity up there and it seems to be working.

She's chugging along this week. A few more tirchomes on show and the buds have swelled noticeably. Had to add some scaffolding to support some stems.... On she goes........

Not an overly impressive strain and I would say she was not that hard to grow. If I even grew this one again I would let it go naturally with some LST. Wanted more grape flavours but they don't really come through in the smoke. There's a bit of a sharp fruity smell that's sort of piney with a hint of fuel at the end. The smoke is not too flavourful in my opinion but that just means I didn't grow it well. Super tight nugs so be careful with humidity as stated above. Also she's a bit of a light feeder so be careful with your nutes. As you can see I burnt her tips and over fed her a lot. Not a bad yield though! I've only really smoked the lowers on this one so far so that gave me a bit of a racey high, just slightly racey. I would accredit that to the lowers not being mature enough at chop. The plant is super dense and since I mainlined it the lowers didn't receive enough light. I tried to let the lowers mature more but the plant stopped maturing when I chopped the tops, this caused stress and the plant just shut down basically. Not sure if I would grow Blimburn's GDP again until I grow the real GDP.

This was my first ever serious grow ever. About 12 years ago I grew in a little PC grow case but I picked it early and didn't dry and cure it right. Tasted like hay, ha! So for my first ever legit grow, I was super happy with these genetics. On the whole they were relatively easy to grow. There were never any bud rot, PM, disease or insect issues at all. I had two distinct phenotypes from these 2 seeds. One was the normal green pheno. It grew extremely easy and showed no deficiencies whatsoever the entire grow. The nugs it produced have a very funky smell to them. Lots of orange and green on those ones. My cell phone pics I attached were desaturated from my cell phone. I'll take better pics of it after it's done curing. The purple pheno on the other hand was a little more temperamental. Right after germination it kinda of twisted a little. I nearly cut it at one point because I didn't have enough experience to know if it would make it. Thankfully I didn't cut it! It had what appeared to be a calmag deficiency the entire grow despite the green pheno doing perfect with the exact same parameters/nutrients/water. In the end though, I think the environmental stress the plant had throughout the grow was possibly what caused the purple pheno to come out and maybe was also the reason there were soooo many crystals! They smell very floraly, spicy and perfumey kinda. And they are SOOOOOO beautiful. They smell incredible too. Green pheno yielded 41g. Purple yielded 37g for a total of 2.75 ounces dried. I dried the green plant for 12 days and the purple plant for 16 days. Whole plant dry. Average conditions were 62 degrees, 58% over the dry. My basement is great for drying due to the year round low 60 degree temps in there. Gonna cure them for a couple weeks to see just how much more sophisticated the smells develop. I will upload some more high quality, non cell phone pics after these are done curing. So I can only compare these genetics to nothing as it's my first grow but I was extremely happy with these. For my next grow starting tonight or tomorrow I'm gonna focus on more training, better nutrient feed and a slightly longer veg time so that I can really up the yields for that harvest. I'd like to get 8 or more ounces. We shall see!

Harvest day 70 since the time change to 12/12 hrs. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested. After the trichomes have been checked (70% milky 30% amber) as always, it was left in complete darkness for 48 hours before it was neatly trimmed by hand. After trimming, she was put back in the drying tent on nets. There they are allowed to dry for the next 8-12 days at 62% humidity before they are put into the jar to ferment with 62% boveda packs. After about 4-6 weeks in the jar I will swap the 62% boveda pack for a 58% boveda pack where it can be ready for another 4-6 weeks to enjoy :-). As always, the remains of the leaves are used to make Ice o Lator and oil. Of course, as always, there is a final update during the fermentation process. Borked the time tracking on the previous diary weeks, both are still going strong. Grapefruit is developing a lot of new internode fan leaves, but she's too late into bloom now to defoliate etc. and don't want to stress the GG XL either. Latest GG XL photos are in Week 5. Microgreens are also coming up fast. 17/07: Forgot to take Day 42 photos for both girls, my apologies as my wrists have been giving me hell but will get some more up soon. I've been keeping with the same watering schedule, some bud sites are being shaded by fan leaves so I'm trying to VERY carefully bend them down to prop up the little bud sites better. I've rubbed my fingers on some of the fan leaves to get rid of whatever weird white dust is ending up on my leaves, probably just debris from the air and the fan might need a cleaning soon but holy shit my fingers smell strong like Pomegranate and fruits. It's getting quite addictive to smell the bud sites and rub that resin of her fan leaves, I wish I could describe it better but damn it smells good. If the resin is any indication of the final smoke I know that the Grapefruit is gonna be dank. Can't wait till drying + harvest time :)) 18/07: Plucked off some lower burnt leaves that were really old, snipped off two more big fan leaves shading new bud sites and removed the stumps from old leaves rather making those closely cut down stubs instead so no bug invaders can get a free home. :P Humidity has been ridiculously high today >~65% and dropping now in the evening after the rain has stopped to <~60%, I added some Sodium Bicarbonate in plastic jars around the tent to help pull out water from the air. (18/07: Seems to be helping, I'm seeing about a ~2-5% drop overnight and this morning, usually the humidity in the morning before+after rain is ~60-65%) 20/07: The paper ref regarding RH and Bicarb. of Soda: W.-Y. Kuu et al. / International Journal of Pharmaceutics 166 (1998) 167–175 / PII: S0378-5173(98)00049-0 - I don't know how or why but keeping temps at ~21-23C drops the RH down to a stable mid-low 50's range. Thank fuck now I don't have to drop tonnes of money on a huge dehumidifier... Occam's razor baby :) 21/07: Had to move the light, fan, carbon filter and literally everything. Some minor shit for the cover broke on top of the CaCl -RH% and the bicarb got knocked over. Wiped, sprayed down and cleaned out the fan filter as well. What a fucking start to the day... 31/07: GG XL is in Week 7 now, so getting well into flower, growing at an exponential rate and starting to give off a very subtle smell, Grapefruit smells quite noticeable now too. 03/08: GG XL ending week 7, getting massive. ~77-78CM now. Had to defoliate the Grapefruit since leaf miners were still assaulting her, hopefully this helps get more light and airflow into the bud sites, been having humidity issues but can't do much.
