The week was partly sunny and partly rainy and our plants had to be canopied on the balcony nearly every day. Rare sunny hours. Humidity is mostly ok, but I‘m checking now very regular if the plant need to be harvested. The flowers are covered in trichomes, pistils got brown on the upper flowers, the larger fan leaves loose their color and I could spot first amber. But I want to wait as long as possible. Pure rainwater in the morning and in the evening. Flushing first time with a good drainage. Trichome fotos at the end :)

3/03/2021 - Seeds arrived - I let one seed soak in distilled water for 12 hours. Room temperature. The other seed will go straight into a moist paper towel tomorrow. 3/04/2021 - After 12 hours of soaking I moved the seed to a moist paper towel and put in a ziploc bag. I also started another Seedsman Blueberry seed (didn’t soak it as an experiment). I put the ziploc bags in a warm dark spot. I will check it in 24 hours. 3/5/2021 - The seed I let soak for 12 hours has started to root. I’m going to let the tap root get a little bigger before I transfer it to a rock wool cube. I will check the seeds in 6 hours. Well 6 hours later the non soaked seed broke open and exposed a small tap root. Tomorrow they should be ready for rock wool cubes. 3/6/2021 - Moved the seeds to rock wool cubes. We observed that the seed that did not soak, rather just placed into moist paper towels, had the first sprout. We made sure to put root down first with spout over the top of the rock wool. 3/7/2021 - Both seeds have sprouted and are in the humidity dome. They will continue to grow until I see roots. 3/8/2021 - The sprouts look great! We will let them grow until roots appear from the bottom of the cubes. The 3rd cube in the dome is another Seedsman Blueberry we will be growing as a mother plant for clones. 3/9/2021 - Not really much to report. They seem to have stopped stretching and are taking shape nicely. I will continue to keep them in the humidity dome until they root out of the bottom. 3/10/2021 - Today all 3 seedlings had roots showing in the rock wool. I transplanted each one into solo cups filled with Fox Farm Happy Frog. I noticed the cubes were soaked and over watered. The soil will dry it out and I will start feeding them Fox Farm Big Bloom.

This is probably the final week of the full tent shots, these were taken a few days ago and at this point there is only 8 plants that have not yet been harvested. I learned a lot this run, tried some new shit, grew out my own crosses, dialed things in by getting rid of the light leaks and adding the heater so it was a success. The new lights out performed my expectation and the leaf strip might become a staple in my garden. The leaf strip made me nervous I wasn't sure how it would turn out but all of my buds are noticeably larger, the lowers are filled out and as dense as the tops and it saved space, water and nutrients. The lights could have contriuted to the larger buds but the other things made it well worth it. I have been vegging out the next run for a while trying to keep them from growing too much in 1/2 gal bags so there should be some interesting plants there stay tuned. * These came out pretty good, #1 was a lanky bitch and leans heavily toward my Ciroc cut but has these sweet lookin pink tips. I feel like the buds could have filled out a little more but maybe I will run it back and if they do fill out I will hit it with the MC2 pollen and make some fems. #2 is the mutant and is ridiculously frosty, usually when I have a runt it comes out decent at best but this one outdid itself. The buds actually came into shape pretty nicely, they are a little slim but the frost is insane. Some of the photos of #2 might look like I didn't take them compared to my usual photography style and that's because my girl took them, she is a little more artistic than I am but it was her first time using the new camera so some are slightly out of focus because the ISO was too low and there was a little camera shake. Okay growmies here we are at the end of our PURPLE LEMONADE by FAST BUDS. It was such a pleasure to grow, i learned so so so much this run that will help me through the rest of my adventures. The beginning was tough as i am new i over watered and did not ph the water and what i mistake. But its okay i learned. She bounced back like nothing and produced these HUGE, THICK, DENSE BUDS!i remember the panic i had week 2-3 and wanted to scrap all of this and start over.... thank the weed gods i didnt because look at this masterpiece. I always said in the passed weeks comments i hope my ugly duckling becomes a beautiful queen. And here she is. She was SOOO HUNGRY AND THIRSTY! Over 5L a day guys..... and not a SINGLE drop would come out of the bottom.... over a all a pleasure and amazing grow. I will for sure grow again and again. I would love to Try this out door or in a 10L pot can probably get this beast to be the size of a 5x5 easily! Fat Banana doubles in size this week and starts to develop some true leaves. Taken out of the humidity dome & moved a lot closer to the CFL now, roughly 4-5 inches. Roots looking healthy and developing nicely, will be transplanting in the coming week to a slightly larger pot when I'll also introduce some 1/4 strength veg nutes.

The plants are still growing at a good pace. Just finished their 1st week on 12-12. They definitely filled out so we went ahead and did like a 40 % defoliation to help the light get through all those branches. Waiting to see the start of the stretch and some more early signs of preflower. I was short on time or inwould have more up close shots of early signs, I'll edit mid week and update on how they bounced back from the trimming.
