Any time you have the luxury of rooting this plant in the earth (where it belongs) is a huge bonus. She didn’t need much of anything and took all she required (for the most part anyway) from the garden👍. OG’s in the emerald triangle pride themselves on the makeup of their soil and the quality of the plants they grow. I like to think that while this girl didn’t have that benefit - she got as close as she could to it here in the north. She was struggling heavy at the start when she was indoors. It must’ve been my error some how but she hated the coco medium, hated the nutes and hated the grow light. As soon as she was moved outside, she was a completely different plant - like she had been begging for the sun the whole time. 5/5 coconuts because you simply can’t beat growing in the ground as the cannabis gods intended😎. Yield🌴🌴🌴 Ahhh the great equalizer of grower egos. Let’s put all of the above in perspective; this girl ended up where she was out of necessity. She was exposed to the elements and potential rippers and named “the decoy” because her express purpose was to draw attention away from the other 2 plants that we didn’t want anyone messing with. Thankfully, no one with a thought to theft ever really noticed her and it wasn’t until late flower that she demonstrated herself to be an award winning plant👍🤘👍. Woulda thought she’d yielded more with how thin her side branches were in comparison to the buds. They were massive and she was ready to fall over by the time the chop window opened. But the buds were also somewhat less dense which made their final sizes a little deceiving. Another limiting factor was that some of her branches were pollinated - probably from a randy bumblebee that had gotten into it somewhere else. Like the other 2 outdoors this year, we pulled 6 or 7 seeds off this girl that may eventually get used in future grows. I’m certainly not opposed to the occasional seed as long as she’s not a full-on hermie that can’t be used. Who knows, maybe a breeding project Is in the cards next year🤔. End of the day, results were about as expected given her conditions and growing environment - 6.51oz of sun grown, sativa goodness👌. 3/5 palm trees for this - without some training and a more accommodating environment - we definitely left some of her potential on the table here. There’s still more than enough to go around though😉. Props Again, a shout out thank you to GD for the platform. Big thank you to HSO for breeding some wicked, awesome beans. And another shout out to good karma for seeing us through this one. Of course some special mention to those who swung in to creep on it these past weeks. I topped both plants once thus far, cleared their lower nodes up to the 3rd node on "nemo" and 4th on "v" names are easier then saying seed 1 and seed 4. added pics and video of day 34/35 for these two. hope y'all can stand the slight off hue from grow light. pics/vids are taken on phone camera thru grow room glasses, when watered the 3 gal pots are heavy and not easy to yank out for a picture.

All the buds on plant 1 seemed to have doubled in size this week. She's also starting to get a very sweet citrusy smell. I'm loving how sticky and smelly everything is, especially after trimming.

This was the last week on vegetation light schedule, we think she had grown enough to start flowering cicle. We also started the defoliation, gradually removing the leaves, when we find it necessary.

Day 56- Starting to frost up. She's not as thick as my other autos but she sure has way shinier trichs than the rest. I like the pronounced purpling also. Im hoping she kicks it into turbo drive this week and starts to bulk up. Day 61-WOW she is really colorful in so many ways. The leaves are sun damaged but under control now but the buds are forming jut fine and turning a nice purple. So many trichomes, making this plant shine like crazy.

She grew 24cm this week! Really starting flowering too! She's doing well. Nothing else to the report as I'm just letting her do her own thing. I notice her leaves are VERY thin and Sativa-like!! 😍 For nutrients I'm using 15g of 20-20-20 mixed with 10L of water. Also added 4ml/L of both Cannazym and Terpinator. Beginning of week This week I have cut out the Grow nutriets.. I will now double up on the bloom nutrients and have also added a half dose of Kushie Kush bloom booster from Advanced Nutrients. I have always had good results with this bloom booster.. The smell of the nutes itself just smells like it would help make the buds more dank lol.. I dont know how else to explain that lol.. But yeah. Kinda regretting the aggressive defoliation and late LST (including 1 branch that was supercropped) now.. But I'm sure by next week she will be a gorgeous little bush again.. I just wanted the lower branches to get just as much light as the tops.. Still no trichome production.. Another plant that I have flowering only about 5 days ahead has alot of trichomes for such small little nugs.. Still happy with this girlie! End of week.. Some trichomes have now popped up! Not much but SOME.. She has been showing slight signs of nutrient burn.. I think its mostly because I use the second cup to hold the runoff so that she has plenty to drink while im at work. It helps to do a little flush and NOT let it build up in the runoff cup.. Sometimes the PPM of the runoff gets up to 2300 or even 2500 PPM.. Today it was 2800 PPM so I flushed it really good this morning and going to get another good watering (no nutes) before lights out so that she can have that to drink untill the AM.. PPM got down to 1800 after doing the flush thing.. I shpuld be able to make a new batch of nutes tomorrow.. Maybe I'll even back off of some.. I'll figure it out tomorrow... She is one happy and heathy girl, otherwise.. On to the next week!!!...
