Week 8, Day 50 - FLOWER: 06/13/2021
After inspecting the trichome development for the last 7-10 days or so, I’ve decided that today would be the ideal time to begin flushing. The American Pie #1 does not look like it’s ready to begin flushing quite yet, as she appears to be about a week behind in maturity. Despite that, I’ll still begin flushing her today too.
Recycled water: 70ppm, 69℉
+ pH Up: 7ml
Mixture: 95ppm, 6.4 pH, 69℉
ppm/ppm = runoff/soil

Week 8, Day 51 - FLOWER: 06/14/2021
Did a trichome check on the plants today. Spent more time with the Jelly Banana to better determine her maturity level. She actually looks like she is ready to harvest today. I’d say trichomes are 75-80% milky, with an amber trichome here and there.
I’m going to try and push her through at least one more low-ppm watering and test the runoff. If I start seeing more amber trichome development, I will cut her down.

[SUMMARY]
I expect this to be my last full week of flower. All the girls are looking ripe for the chopping.
The aroma that bursts out of the tent when I unzip it every time is heavenly. American Pie #1
is still about a week behind in maturity, but she will get cut down with the other plants
regardless. Jelly Bananen started to turn a lime green color so she'll probably get chopped
and hung up in the next few days when my second tent arrives (4x2 AC Infinity).

Un altra settimana è passata senza problemi...grazie alla mia perseveranza nel curarla e debellare i ragnetti Rossi che bastardelli mi sono arrivati anche dentro al box... sicuramente c'è li ho portati io involontariamente quando sono andato a vedere delle piante di un amico che erano impregnate di ragnetti e ragnatele sui fiori....vabbè ora devo sbattermi un po' più ma non lascerò che mi rovinino la mia terapia 💪👍🙏🕉️🙏... Boom Shiva Shankar 🕉️ belle le mie coccinelle 🐞 che mi tengono pulita la mia terapia

Well folks, this was a PPFD and CO2 controlled grow and I didn't use any bloom boosters like the Big Bud or Canna Boost etc.. Results are crazy.
I managed to collect over 760 grams of dried and fine trimmed nugs. The flowering lights is the LEDWisdom Coral 600W IP67 water and dust proof grow lights. For the first two weeks, I used Rosa 400W and Rosette 200W grow lights from LEDWisdom. When Coral arrived, I changed the light setup so the total lights used is 600Watts. Anyway Coral grow lights have near 3.0 umols/J efficacy and makes your garden yield like crazy no matter what. I'm sure I would have collected more if I used a bloom booster but I wanted to show you guys that you can achieve great results with a great grow light even without flower boosters. You can check my other diaries growing with the Rosa 400W and Rosette 200W. These lights are also killing it and they have around 2.7 umol/J efficacy.
Lights were drawing 590 Watts from the power outlet on the wall so I can say that the whole grow yielded more than 1.3 grams per Watt. These strains are not heavy yielders except the Chocolate Chunk but I only had one plant of this strain and she was the smallest plant in the tent. It didn't affect the total yield much. Pink Kush yields are pretty standart but the quality is exceptional. On the crossbreed strain, yield was slightly more than the Pink Kush plants and the yield from each strain is like below;
-Chocolate Chunk: 80 grams
-Pink Kush: 320 grams
-Purple Punch x Pink Kush: 360 grams
I made some COB's and also some kief and has with the trim. there wasn't much to trim in the end because I kept my plants in good shape. This was a joy to grow and now I have an amazing stash of high quality dried material stored in vacuum. I'm ready for another pandemic but I hope we won't have one 😅

Spider Mite infestation.
I put the story in the pictures. Long story short, the infestation focused on the lower (ticker) branches of AK2 and this explains the undergrowth compared to her sisters. The trichomes are half-cloudy / milky and she will be ready for harvest within a maximum of 2 weeks. I defoliated her by removing nearly all leaves and put her aside in the grow room. Open to any other suggestions.
I also confess that I neglected the plants and did not check the source of the white point. I also used some of the soils I used in other outdoor plants which I believe the source of the infestation.
Seed Formations
AK2, again produces seeds in lower branches. I did not pollinate this one and there is no other source that she is pollinated. I didn't see any Bananas, too. I am thinking it might be because of the stress from the Spider Mites. Open to any suggestions on that too.
Other Two Girls
I spotted some mites on them too, but it was not alarming. I defoliated the infested few leaves and they will be okay. Jack Herer needs two and White47 might need another 3 weeks and that is it. I think they all will be okay until then. I will keep a close eye on them.

My biggest mistake a hard trim and stretching with in PhD nutrients and to too it off I lowered the light ... Wow she got fried and messed up hard she is just starting to look better today and am happy that she is a fighter or else I would not be moving forward still .. dam my other plants are fine only this one took the brunt of it all lesson learned I guess .. here's to looking better next week in her new tent for flowering can't wait excited ... Right then 7 weeks of flower complete. I'll dive right in to the juicy bits as this week has been predominantly about deciding weather to chop or keep one of my girls going. In the end I chose to do both! As the photos and videos show the plant wasn't recovering so I checked the trichomes and it was actually pretty ripe. A few Amber's on the upper buds. Lowers still undeveloped so I decided to take the biggest and leave the smallest for another week or while ever the plant is healthy. I estimate I've taken around 7oz once dry. Depending how they swell up I'm hoping for a further 5oz of solid bag worthy nugs.
Looking nice and frosty, smell is that typical sweet haze with some sour diesel/fruit kick in there. You can see how the photos progress my hands getting covered in resin.
Got to give my other 3 some love as they are getting healthier and fatter. I'm thinking another week on one of them and 2 on the others. I'll more than likely stagger the harvest like tonight if it proves worth while. I will update mid week.

She finally stopped her heightgrowth. Happy with that, because i don't have more space to hang the growlight any higher.
I decided to give her more nutrients this week. She also did trink more water (4.2L in this week), although she was only exposed to the growlight and had no direct sun anymore.
She smells incredibly sweet. I quite enjoy it, and sniff here every day 😅 Really curious how long it will take until i'm going to harvest her. I decided to wait until she has 60 to 80% brown trichomes.
One of her leafes on the bottom still isn't looking too good and is more yellow, so i probably going to cut it in the next few days.

fifteenth day after switching to flower phase. the flowers are strong. The flower responded very well to the transplanting. I bend the flower every 5 days. This will be a very beautiful harvest if nothing goes wrong. 🤗

Easy grow. Sold no fuss strain. Big buds.
This is probably my favourite strain for consumption. Very head high but powerful. One of the few strains that has absolutely 0 after effects. No hangover. No stupids. The larff and shake made excellent coconut oil for Nanaimo bars.
