Chemdawg, aka Chemdog, is a slightly Indica-leaning hybrid that became one of the parent strains for the insanely popular Sour Diesel. Its genetic ancestry is shrouded in mystery, and many wild stories go around, but somewhat certain is that its roots trace back to Nepal and Thailand. Chemdawg plants grow tall, making them best suited for bigger indoor setups. They also require lots of light and meticulous environmental control. Also be sure to take appropriate measures for odor control, because this strain reeks so strong that it can easily alert the neighbors. Both the aroma and flavor are very potent, spicy, and diesel-like. Hints of ammonia are possible, depending on how well the buds were cured. The effects bring the best of both worlds, but it’s best known for its intense psycho-activity – the cerebral high boosts creativity while your body becomes more stoned and relaxed. Sleepiness is bound to follow. Main therapeutic uses include treating pain, stress, ADHD, migraines, and PMS.

The ChemDog was also one of my first strains that I grew myself. it has grown really big, the plant was 120cm tall in the end! the buds have become beautiful despite reveg!!! super end product, very sativa-heavy, tastes/smells like gas and wood! and is great for smoking during the day!

This strain is old but good, you will need to have experience to try because they need train and time expend on it. The buds are good and all the mains looks really impressive unfortunately i do not get a good experience in production maybe i need to start again with the experimentation with this lady.

Für den ersten Grow eine gute Sortenwahl. Bin mit dem Ergebnis sehr zufrieden. Riecht sehr nice nach Diesel und ist schon recht smooth. Noch ein paar Wochen im Glas und es wird glaube sehr geil :D

Wow, so much better then my last run. Ultra sweet and sour. Cure has begun, iam waitng for the Flavor to report but she is smelling dank. Very pungent sour deep smoke. Sweetness only on the Nose, i freaking love her. Bud structure is not the best although i wont be picky.

I feel like this strain could've turned out better if it wasn't mixed with others in the same hydro system. Not as heavy as I'd like and could've been stronger.

The Chemdawg is a perfect strain for any time of day really. It's a good mix of both indica and sativa so you can do a few puffs during the day and be enlightened and energized, or really partake in the evening and plan on just kicking back and enjoying life. 😎

I'm loving the chemdawg!!! This is an easy to grow strain which frosts up nicely and has a great flavor and buzz. Not quite couch lock but very stoney. I would recommend this strain to anyone from novice to experience

So they hit the nail on the head in regards to the flavor profile if grown correct, the buds stinks of raspberry and lemons. No diesel in this just citrus and I'm not complaining about it. The plant stunted and I'm sure that's from the soil amendment, was still able to get 1.5oz of QUALITY from her which I will hoard in storage until the spring/summer. Spider mites are extremely attracted to this plant and probably due to the high lemon terps.

All in all it was a fairly easy strain to grow. ILGM states "Chemdawg is moderately difficult to grow, as it will need protection from mold and pests". The environment where I live is dry so mold was never an issue. The yield was not bad at 3 ounces per plant. The smoke is pretty darn stoney, with a unique but good flavor, especially after curing for a bit. I would definitely recommend this strain, maybe my favorite from ILGM so far.

This stuff is strong man!!! By far the strongest I’ve ever grown. I had a 1 g joint like I usually do and was gonzo. It was awesome, chilled for 2 hours and watched fishing videos. Could hardly lift my arms to hold the remote for half an hour. It has a sour gas lime kinda aroma that is so pungent. I’m super pleased with this pheno and strain. Great job to Humboldt Seed Company for a sweet seed. Like I’ve said before, this is all for me so idk the total weight. There 4 1qt mason jars full plus a 12x12 ziploc bag full of larf for edibles. It was definitely worth while running those mothers. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This grow went smoothly, until week 5 of flower when i noticed the first spot of powdery mildew, it was all downhill from there. Overall great citrus smell, buds looked great… but threw most of it away due to the mold.
