Transitioning to an outdoor grow. Moving plants outdoors daily until frost risk ends. Permanent replant outdoors planned for June, 2 in pots, 2 in ground. Was dealing with some mold issues on MC and PPM which appear to have resolved after a couple days outside ๐
@TrickOrTrip, thanks I appreciate the comment ๐ It's risky starting ahead of the end of frost date but they are a hardy plant. The 2 I left outside appear to have withstood the 2C temps no problem. Looking forward to some Heat!
Such a beautiful garden; big and bushy ๐ฟ
I wish you the best of luck with the rest of your grow, Iโm sure you will have your hands full come harvest time.
@Grisly, yes!
Iโm in that boat with you my friend!
Itโs a lot of fun and a lot of diligence to get them to grow into giants like these; but the gamble and effort is worth it when you get to pull in a huge crop at the end ๐๐ค
@Themythicalchristine, Thanks and here's hoping. Great fun to grow them big! I like the gamble and possible Big payoff as the long haul comes down to a bit of luck and good weather in the last 2 weeks ๐
Not gonna lie I am 1) Jealous of the patience to veg 16 weeks I've only gone as far as 10, 2)The fat stalks with bark and the presumed harvest at the end. This is ridiculously awesome!
@cfstan85, Nothing special, just the initial topping and time. I'm counting on them getting larger still. The gemstone is > 2" in diameter at this point ๐

@linassof, Advanced Nutrients are added to the water at the max recommended amounts. I'm only fertilizing the plants in containers with 100% Promix. Typically watering 2 or 3 times a week dependent on rain and temperature. The 2 plants in soil are feeding off a layer of dry fertilizer and compost. ๐
