Midweek update: 3 days, 1" of rain, and up to 5 inches of growth. The Bubblegum soaked up 6 gallons with half strength Advanced Nutrients and then a thunderstorm dropped an inch of rain before I could continue watering. While checking for damage I discovered both leaf hopper and striped cucumber beetles have found the plants. Pest control has begun 😞. The Gemstone grew a whopping 5 inches in 3 days trying to beat out the tomatoes. Im starting to think the soil Promix combo, pot bottom cut out and sitting on top of the larger garden, is really starting to pay off. PPG is still tallest at 47 inches and is in 100% Promix but Gemstone is catching up. End of Week Countdown: Plants have been in veg for 77 days with an estimated 51 days to go before the Start of Flower 😁 Did some serious defoliation of branches and finally pared the plants down to their main branches.
