Going great, I have no concerns at all and I'm fact she imo is very healthy. Her growth rate is of the charts and I do believe that I have a purple colored pheno. I say that because her leaves are purple on the underside. This leaves me very excited to flower her. Like always my set up reatrics me on how long I can veg, usually 7 weeks max though I prefer 6.
She's doing really well. I had tired her yesterday at all nodes. As far as HST training I'm done. I wanted to top her as soon as possible because she's probably going to be in veg for 8 weeks so my autos will have a chance to fill in before I flip to flower.
She is doing so good . In fact she barely missed a beat every time I topped her and she has been topped 7 times. Speaking of topping I'm done with all that hst and now I'm just waiting for her to grow out so I can start to form the ohh soo lovely manifold. She's going to have plenty of veg time actually I may just have to finish my Auto's on a 12,12 we'll see.
She's growing soo fast and healthy. I've already taken a bunch of leaves off and I'm sure I'll be taking more. I just need her to grow a few more inches before I can finish my training and let her do her thing.
Well I do believe I have yet another great genetic from Seedsman Seeds. I'm glad I got a extra pack of 3 beans. I'm very impressed with the vigor and recovery of Gelat-OG. She's been a complete joy to grow and can't wait for my reward.
Growing nice and strong. She's trowing flowers like crazy. No issues to date thankfully. From here on out it's just light defoliation. Other than that I'm going to let her grow from now on with no more LST being that my training was a success imo. Now it's just a waiting game.
Doing great, flushed her today with 5 gal of ph'd water and started a new feeding schedule as seen above I will alternate watering and feeding. One week water one week feed. I'll keep this gradually increasing the strength of nutes. As far as everything as a whole couldn't be better. Looking forward to her bounty.
This week was good. I saw the start of rapid trichome production and the first signs of the buds starting to fatten. Breeder States 8 weeks give or take for flowering. With that being said I'm about halfway through according to the breeder but in all reality I probably got a full 10 to 12 weeks of flowering. I flushed last week was great results, after flushing the plant demonstrated praying fan leaves, and my experience tells me that that's a very happy plant.
Doing super great. Getting frosty and she's starting to fatten up her flowers. I've cut out all nutes except for calmag+iron. I'll be using the call mag up until two weeks till harvest then just ph'd water. I'm really happy about the genetics and performance of the Gelat-OG. So I can already say it will be in permanent rotation with Sweet seeds Gorilla girl F1, Seedsman Blueberry and Seedsman white Widow.
Did another 7 gal ph'd water flush on the 16th of September. This is my first time with this strain and I'm finding out that it gets really sensitive to nutrients during flower. Also shes drinking like crazy , I flushed with 7 gallons of water 2 days ago and I'll need to water again by tomorrow. So she's requiring at least a gallon and a half every 3 days. Paying close attention to how much water she's drinking along with the trichomes helps me to determine 9 she's maturing. Now comes the dreaded 2 weeks. The final weeks always take forever but well worth the wait.
She's coming along rather nicely. I started my flush and I probably got another 2 weeks maybe. I've had very few problems from this plant other than it's stinking everything up. I'm definitely going to let her go until she don't want to go no more because the buds are only getting fatter daily. I'm going to start checking the tricomes daily now and I'm going to wait until I at least have 10% Amber then chop chop.
Wow wow wowsers !!! This lady has been a absolute joy to grow. There's a technical term for how I care for my plants and not just cannabis. I like to treat them like there a loved pet , seriously 😳. I find that I end up with a very happy plant. This particular Gelat-og kush is just amazing . Her flowers literally doubled in size and mass in the last two weeks or so of flower 🌺. She's faded rather well and I wish I could have kept the day time temps lower so she would have faded with nice colors. Don't get me wrong she's looking great how she is .
Now this Gelat-OG pheno was really sensitive to nutrients especially during flower. I pushed her pretty hard with some Humboldt's Secret Flower stacker and the results were great. I flushed her 3 times total and it was a wise decision. The first flush was during her early flower phase and the next day all leaves we're praying nicely. The flush consisted of several gallons of ph'd water that was allowed to gas off the chlorine. I used simple tap water with good results for flushing and watering, feeding. The next two flushes were done in week 7 and then week 11 to help the flushing process for harvest.

Now the training technique was aggressive and successful. I mainlined her for 8 main kola's and she took well to the training. I also used defoliation to allow for better light penetration due to her being such a compact and tightly growing plant. All the kola's are around 10 to 12 inches long and all but one had the same flower development. One in particular had that classic kola look , looks like a D. N. A strand wrapping around the branch. The others have the top flower with pairs of flowers underneath spaced out at about every inch. They consist of 8 nice lowe flowers and a few beaches that developed into nice sub tops. All in all a hell of a nice job Seedsman.
Now I have her last watering 3 days prior to the 36 Hour dark period. My hope was that the medium would be mostly dry when I harvest. That's exactly what happened,I times it just right with that. Now her tricomes are all milky" cloudy" and with about 10% amber. I broke down and purchased a loupe so I could inspect her trichs and I'm glad I did. Originally I was going to go by the hairs and I'm glad I did not. If I would have I do believe that the thc would have started breaking down into "correct me if I'm wrong please" cbn cbd and so on. Not what I prefer.
I'm closing I want to thank all folks for your support and kind words, also thank you Seedsman for a stunning genetic masterpiece. As you can see in the picks I have a few of your Gelat-OG seed packs. I will finish off this diary when she's all trimmed and dried so I can get a weight comparison between dry and wet weights.
CHEERS.!!!
Well it's dry and cureing in jars. I ended up with 78 grams of dry sticky buds. Growing this cultivar was a breeze! I mailined her for 8 main kola's and I would say that it was a success. I did however end up with more larf than I would have liked, but I'll be using that for fresh flower rosin in my Rosineer press. This particular pheno did not like her nutrients above a mild strength at all !!! I did flush her 3 times during her life and with good results. The first was to clean and build up of veg nutrients , primarily nitrogen. And the other two times were during flower. I wanted a good transition into flower. I've had a bad habit of thinking that a super dark green plant is what I want in flower. All in all she was a delight to grow. Not to finicky and a forgiving strain imo.
