Good week plants are growing strong.💪.
Still running the lights(viparspectra XS 2000, 240 watts)
at around 60%, so my guess would be around 150 watts or so,
Gotta love it👌..
I tied down the tri-leaf plant and ended up with a nice ring of
bud sites and a fairly level canopy, looks real good. Magnum #2
all I did was top it and it pretty much trained itself, some heavy
side branch stretch and the canopy is leveling itself. Just going to watch this one grow😎..
Later!!
@Mrs_Larimar,I already had one of these lights(xs2000) I purchased it
awhile back, but have not grown autos with it yet, Emily let me test another
one to see how two lights work in a 4'x4' (120x120cm) tent, should do the trick👌.
I just need to get used to them, I had the light about 70cm above and at 50%
and the sprouts stretched about 6-8cm in two days, I had to bury them a bit or
they were going to fall over, lowered the light a little and turned it to 60% or so,
seems to be better, I have the R.H at 65% and temps at 25-27c.
Any suggestions would be helpfull.
Thanks👊. Have a great day!!
@Mrs_Larimar,I've never seen this before, I don't know if it's good or bad,
but the plant looks healthy so far so we'll let it grow. I did some reading on this
and the plant should grow like normal, but with more side branching and maybe a little more leafy.
I don't know if the genetics are more or less stable, but it was a freebie from Canuk seeds so we'll just have to wait and see😏.
@Mrs_Larimar,Thanks👊,
I think I found the sweet spot, but I'm constantly adjusting these lights
and the plants respond fairly quick to the changes. Just past week 3 not
counting a week for the seedling stage and all of these plants are flowering already,
SUPER FAST😄 and the stretch is on, some lower branches are growing 2-3 centimeters(1'')
every day, AMAZING!!!
Have a great day !!!
Happy growing! I hope you get some good results! Take care and stay lit! I will drop by sometimes to check on your process! Say hello if you ever visit my page!
Peace & Love - L.S.T 🙏🏼🌟
@Legendaryseedthumb,I still like my autos even if their
not very consistent, I think you just have to bite the bullet and
spend a little more on good genetics to get more consistency with the auto flower..
Photoperiod plants are more consistent becuase their genetics haven't been meesed with as much,
you can get a little better quality with the photo's and control is much easier. You can veg. as long as you like
and train real aggressively, but just remember that the plant will just about double in size after you flip to flower.
I always make the comparison that a photoperiod is like a Cadillac cruising to the finish line😎
and autos are like a Corvette racing to the finish line😵😋.. Just something to think about👍
@northernMike, yeah it’s lots of fun with a big different of buds but the thing is I do not like that there is a big difference!!! The plants is growing in they own way and nothing looks like the other plant ant that makes it kinda hard for me to dry and plan my harvests!! So I’m more into feminized seeds these days. Just trying to grow my first feminized but what I’ve read there is more easy to make it your way!
