Hey everyone, hope all is well👊
Emily from Viparspectra sponsered me a light to grow a couple auto diaries, the XS 2000,great light!👍Thank you very much👊..
New diary,New lights, New seeds, can't wait. these seeds were freebies from the True North Seed bank. (Great company, they make sure you are a happy customer, 5 stars)
Magnum Auto, a strain that I have not tried before, another experiment😵, hoping for the best..
I soaked the seeds for 16 hours and planted directly in the soil with a sprinkle of great white, 100% success
Thanks for stopping by👊 see you in a week
Hey👊, I think I'm getting this new light,(Vipar spectra XS 2000),
dialled in. I have it hanging around 28'' above the plants at 70% and they
are praying to the light and not stretching so much anymore. Feed has been simple,
just water75mLs, skip a day and water with kelp me kelp you, 75 mLs, 1ml/liter, repeat...
One of the two Magnums has a 3 leaf mutation, I guess this happens now and then,
not supposed to be a bad thing,so like the song says we're just going to LET IT GROW😏another experiment!!
Hope all is well👊 thanks for stopping by
Under the Viparspectra XS 2000, which only pulls 240 watts from the wall,
I'm running these two lights at around the same wattage(actually less because of dimmer switch)
as one of my other lights which pulled 400+ watts from the wall, gotta love it👍👍..
The plants are healthy and growing strong, they are approx. the same height and the node spacing is close together.
Plant #2 has the tri-leaf mutation, (weird) so far so good, all is growing as it should😏..
Got some dirt all mixed up, I'll be transplanting to 3 gal. fabric pots in the next day or so...
Thanks for stopping by👊, see you in a week
Hey everybody👊, hope all is well!!
These two plants have just exploded in growth this past week
after transplanting into 3 gal(12L) fabric pots on the 9th and topping
them on the13th. I have the light(Viparspectra XS 2000) around 32''-34'' away
from the plants at approx. 60% and they love it, growing like crazy and looking
really healthy.👍.
Later!!
The Viparspectra XS 2000 is performing as it should, great light
but I don't think that I'll have to run it at full power, 60% so far and
keeping the heat at 23c👍 in the tent.. Since the transplant
both of these plants went crazy, almost doubled in size, haven't had to do
lst as the plant is leveling it's own canopy👍, side branches are growing fast and
keeping up with the rest of the plant, so maybe I'll tie down a couple of branches
in the next week or so, we'll see how she grows..
Remember it's 420 somewhere😎
Good week plants are growing strong.💪.
Still running the lights(viparspectra XS 2000, 240 watts)
at around 60%, so my guess would be around 150 watts or so,
Gotta love it👌..
I tied down the tri-leaf plant and ended up with a nice ring of
bud sites and a fairly level canopy, looks real good. Magnum #2
all I did was top it and it pretty much trained itself, some heavy
side branch stretch and the canopy is leveling itself. Just going to watch this one grow😎..
Later!!
Another great week under the Viparspectra Xs 2000(240watts at full power).
The growth was explosive this week, the lights are hanging 24''(60cm)
above the canopy and the plants are loving life. Both plants have stopped stretching
and are concentrating on flowering, they are starting to smell a little and a bit of
frost is starting to appear😋, another 4 weeks to go😵 can't wait!!
Hope all is well👊, thanks for stopping by
Under the Viparspectra XS 2000, running at 80% and 24''(60cm) from the canopy.
All the Power is going to the Flower💪, there is a noticable difference everyday in
the size of the buds and the sugar production on both of these plants, IT"S OFF THE CHARTS!!!
I'm able to keep the tent at 23c and around 50-55% R.H. and the plants are super happy,
Their drinking approx.1.5-2L everyday, #1 drinks a little more than #2 but I think they will
both start to slow down very soon. That's it for now, thanks for stopping by👊..
See you in a week!!
Super growth under the Viparspectra XS 2000(240watts at full power)Great Light👍..
Sugar and Smell, that's what these girls are made of, AMAZING!!!
Well, it's getting close to the end so I started to flush today.
Todays flush was 4L plain water each, followed by another 1L of
banana peel tea each, and we'll keep flushing with plain water
everytime they dry out for the next couple of weeks or until the trichomes tell me their ready...
Thanks for stopping by👊
Remember it's 420 somewhere!!!😎
Running the lights(Viparspectra XS 2000) at 80%
about 20 inches above the plants and everything looks
GREAT!!! Buds are getting thick😍 and real dense.Lots of sugar,
and the smell is WEIRD😏, but good, kind of sweet...
I've flushed them twice with plain water this past week
and today with a couple liters of banana peel tea and a couple liters
of plain water. I'm guessing another week maybe two and it'll be harvest time😃..
thanks for stopping by👊...
Hey everyone, hope all is well👊..
These plants were freebies from Canuk seeds through the True North Seed Bank
and all I can say is wow!! both plants got fairly big and robust, they were easy to grow
and I was just along for the ride, was lots of fun👍...
I harvested Plant #2 on Oct. 2nd and hung it in a box because my drying tent is full,
not a bad problem to have😏..Ended up with 469 grams wet, super happy😋..
I'm thinking I should end up with somewhere around 100-120 grams, approx. 4oz.. AMAZING!!!
Plant #1 the tri-leaf mutation is still growing and has the whole tent and the Viparspectra
XS 2000 all to herself for a week or so, expecting a big yield from this plant as well, the buds are getting
big and sticky and really dense but a bit more time is needed before harvest for the plant to fade a bit.
Thanks for stopping by👊..
see you in a week!!
Hey everyone, how grows the battle?
This one has come to an end, easy plant to grow,
big, sticky and really dense buds, super happy👌...
Magnum #1-523 grams wet
Magnum #2-469 grams wet.
Both plants are still hanging to dry, will update in a week or so
once I'm able to smoke some😎, can't wait!!!
Thanks again to Emily from Viparspectra, Great light👍...
XS 2000 produced some stupid sticky buds, highly recommend👌..
Thanks to everyone for taking the time to stop by and say Hi,
Much appreciated, Smok'em if you got'em!!!!
Magnum #2 dry weight-97grams, 3.5oz😁😁😁..
Has a very sweet, gas like smell, very nice smoke👍👍...
Magnum #1 dry weight-109 grams, 3.89oz😋😁, super happy!!!
It's not as pungent as #2 but they smell very similar.
Breaks up real good in the buster and smokes with a clean white ash,
should be some good herb after a cure, if I can keep my hands out the
cookie jar, so to speak😶
Later!!!
Harvest day for the MAGNUM #1, tri-leaf..
This plant grew strong right from the beginning, it
was just a pleasure to grow, she took all the nutes and
boosters that I gave her and she drank them all in, 0 troubles👍..
Ended up with one of my biggest wet weights so far😃Happy, Happy...
523 grams(18.67 ounces)💪, guessing I'll end up with 120-130 grams dry,
just over 4 ounces, gotta love it.. Big thanks to Emily at Viparspectra👊.
New diary, New strains coming up right away..
Kind of messed up the weeks somehow😶😏
the dry weights will be posted in last weeks post
@Mrs_Larimar,I already had one of these lights(xs2000) I purchased it
awhile back, but have not grown autos with it yet, Emily let me test another
one to see how two lights work in a 4'x4' (120x120cm) tent, should do the trick👌.
I just need to get used to them, I had the light about 70cm above and at 50%
and the sprouts stretched about 6-8cm in two days, I had to bury them a bit or
they were going to fall over, lowered the light a little and turned it to 60% or so,
seems to be better, I have the R.H at 65% and temps at 25-27c.
Any suggestions would be helpfull.
Thanks👊. Have a great day!!
@Mrs_Larimar,I've never seen this before, I don't know if it's good or bad,
but the plant looks healthy so far so we'll let it grow. I did some reading on this
and the plant should grow like normal, but with more side branching and maybe a little more leafy.
I don't know if the genetics are more or less stable, but it was a freebie from Canuk seeds so we'll just have to wait and see😏.
@Mrs_Larimar,Thanks👊,
I think I found the sweet spot, but I'm constantly adjusting these lights
and the plants respond fairly quick to the changes. Just past week 3 not
counting a week for the seedling stage and all of these plants are flowering already,
SUPER FAST😄 and the stretch is on, some lower branches are growing 2-3 centimeters(1'')
every day, AMAZING!!!
Have a great day !!!
Happy growing! I hope you get some good results! Take care and stay lit! I will drop by sometimes to check on your process! Say hello if you ever visit my page!
Peace & Love - L.S.T 🙏🏼🌟
@Legendaryseedthumb,I still like my autos even if their
not very consistent, I think you just have to bite the bullet and
spend a little more on good genetics to get more consistency with the auto flower..
Photoperiod plants are more consistent becuase their genetics haven't been meesed with as much,
you can get a little better quality with the photo's and control is much easier. You can veg. as long as you like
and train real aggressively, but just remember that the plant will just about double in size after you flip to flower.
I always make the comparison that a photoperiod is like a Cadillac cruising to the finish line😎
and autos are like a Corvette racing to the finish line😵😋.. Just something to think about👍
@northernMike, yeah it’s lots of fun with a big different of buds but the thing is I do not like that there is a big difference!!! The plants is growing in they own way and nothing looks like the other plant ant that makes it kinda hard for me to dry and plan my harvests!! So I’m more into feminized seeds these days. Just trying to grow my first feminized but what I’ve read there is more easy to make it your way!
