Hello again growmies, hope you are well and get to enjoy your weekend :slightly_smiling_face:

Lovely growth again this week. Various terps are starting to appear (very nice mix:+1:)

Northern Lights: Apart from looking incredibly pissed of she has still put in a good shift.
I think she's mostly still pissed off about the heat, she's been experiencing temps of around 29-32oC most of the week and is also thirsty alot. Being a mostly indica plant and in most descriptions of this cultivar say it's used to a lot cooler/temperate climates I can understand why. Last week she had a Mg deficiency that I believe she is now beginning to bounce back from.
Her odour is low but every now and then she produces the smell of fresh sweet healthy earth (it's alot nicer than it sounds!)
Her resin production and pistal formation has bumped up considerably from last week, some of her top bracts/ calyx are swelling and turning a very nice shade of purple.
She will be fed and watered on Monday along with all other plants in this run.
Cant wait for her to kick in properly with her flowers and I'm excited to smoke her.. NL being one of my top classic smokes for medication values and also I find it a deeply relaxing smoke :+1:

#3: WOW every time I go into her tent I am amazed by this mystery seed. All the messing around and learning more about the cannabis plant in general had not stopped her from producing some incredibly stinky, sticky buds :sunglasses::sunglasses:

She has an incredible terp profile already, very much Mango, orange and a eye opening gas smell!

She is still looking to me like a typical sativa dominant cultivar with her leaves and stems but she is starting to fill up abit now. About 60-70% of her trichs are still crystal like and shiny and I can see where she is still bulking up.

reckon another 3ish weeks before I stop feeding her and then let her express and finish herself off :smirk::joy:

#4: Although not the fastest growing plant ( probably because of my mass defoliation) she is still growing strong.
Taken well to being pinned and twisted always bounces back.

She is most definitely showing signs of wanting to flower and I think I will put her in the 12/12 maybe late next week if the week after.

Her smell is still very very nice.
She has this powerful grape smell that I love along with a fruit punch and creamy undertones. Depending on harvest and how she looks she might become my first try at monstercropping :sunglasses:because her smell and plant strength are really impressive.

I think that covers the bulk of it and I'm sorry if im just rambling on (I get really high before doing these diaries :yum:) . Still got so much to learn but I am really loving doing this!

Thank you for stopping by and having a look, I appreciate it, Alot!!
I have other diaries on here too if you want to check them out :grinning:

Peace growmies :v::sunglasses:

Ganjagrandaddy week 7

Great update UK. Lots of info and some great pics to follow your thinking and planned organics. Gnats are a pain in the arse and need dealing with very fast. They can each lay 100-200 eggs and gain number . I used a powder that you top dress with. Instant killing adults and emerging babies too but has no I'll effects to plant agorathin I think it is called. Works brilliant and now no gnats anywhere at all for 2 harvests since. Love what your doing . Keep up the good work mate. Temps back to reasonable now thankfully.

@Ganjagrandaddy, Thank you mate :slightly_smiling_face: so far so good with the organic switch, especially now I've got some mulch going.
Yeah I really hate them, got some nematodes on the way to treat them so hopefully with the mulch and Pearlite I can reduce their numbers for a few days until nematodes arrive.
I'll have a look at that agorathin now, is it organic? Can you store it for a good amount of time?

Thanks again growmie appreciate it and yes hopefully now the temps should go back to normal :+1:

Low humidity is a problem for me at the moment and it's causing slightly slower grow I think. Any tips on a cheap humidifier?
Peace :v::sunglasses:
