Hi growmies, happy Friday I hope you all had a good week and get to enjoy the weekend. #3: Is now and the last part of flowering, she has not been fed anything just been watered with a small amount of MycoBoost dry ammendment. She is now producing amber trichs and I would estimate the amount to be 5-10% Oddly she still has very dark green leaves but is now kicking out a proper stench of orange, Mango & floor cleaner. Incredible smell. One of her colas has fattened out very nice with some good size dense sticky buds. The other two are slightly looser but contain really fat and super dense golf ball like buds. I really cannot wait to be able to try her out!!! #4: Has responded amazingly to being flipped, she is praying to the light everyday and is packing on some good vertical growth with very happy looking new growsites. I feel like she has certainly come to life more during this week! She is now starting to produce more of the grape smell mixed with a slight cookie/bakery vanilla smell which is very sweet indeed. Long time left for her but if she continues thriving like this then I reckon she will be giving me a nice yield (for a 5 litre pot 😂) Northern Lights: Lets start with the good.... Her aroma is amazing!! A proper old school sweet earthy smell that I love and brings back lots of good memories for me 🙂 she has started to produce very light purple colours within her buds and pistils which is spot on to how I remember Northern lights looking back in the day. Abit more bulking up is needed, especially on some of the lower growth but so far her buds are looking and smelling really good to me especially for a plant in a 5 litre pot! Now unfortunately she is having big big problems with her leaves. Lots of orange spots, leaves crisping out and dying, she still looks as pissed of as she did a few weeks back... Not good I have tried to implement many different remedies and took advice from.some of you amazing guys on here but so far nothing has touched it so here's what I know so far.... PH is stable and solid, the same as all my other plants growing in the same medium and conditions. I've added CAL-MAG as it also looked like it may have been a deficiency, no change. She has been getting enough of the Bloom & Bloom 2 through the her flowering period so I doubt very much it's a PK problem. There was a small infestation of gnat fly's a good few weeks ago but I introduced some predatory nematodes as it happend and not seen any since, could this of caused permanent damage? I believe also that she may of struggled alot from the heatwaves we encountered a few weeks back and maybe hasn't recovered since? 🤷‍♂️ I dunno Either way I'm having to remove alot of leaves due to necrosis. Anyone got any thoughts? Thank you for stopping by, really appreciate the support and getting to talk to some amazing people on here! I have other diaries currently active too so please check those out of you want. I update my diaries every Friday afternoon (UK) Peace ✌️😎

Hi matey. The discolouring could be down to needing calmag , well more mg really. L.e.d is known to leech it from the plants as does coco too. I have the same issue just starting to show out more so have added 10ml calmag to the 10L watering. I am using megacrip and shogun products in my l.o.s so rely more on them than the life in the pots at the moment ( can switch it back to alive with a recharge and life-cycle) avoids the greedy needs mid flower and my los not keeping up due to smaller pot sizes then recommended 200L at 60L. Use it for the water movement mainly now. A clever or similar cover crop can also give great results and help with mulching/slower water evaporation too.

@UKPersonal420, powdered oyster shells and epsom salts are good for cal mag 👍

@UKPersonal420,my pleasure mate. Tou can grind soneneggshells upnafter putting them into the oven to brown off a bit. Grind it up to a dust and add this to the soil. Free amendments and still all natural. Wash the shells out before oven drying though. Works a treat.

@Ganjagrandaddy, Hey man, thanks again for commenting and providing valuable information👍 Yes I believe you are right with the MG being a problem but I currently do not have any Organic cal mag other than my dry ammendments like wormcasts and the grow/bloom nutrients. She is also under a Mars Hydro LED that does say plants will need more cal mag under it. I recently just spent all my "growing money" on other items so I'm hoping that with a good old feeding of the wormcasts along with the other dry ammendments that she recovers abit better 🤞 The other plants do not look as bad even after getting that mini heatwave last week... Thankfully. I have some mulch and cover crop on the way so I'll be making sure the soil is more protected then. Thanks again for stopping by mate, loving your diaries by the way. Great detail and videos! Peace ✌️😎

Hey these are looking great! If any thing what I usually will do if they start off slow I will do a half feed with advanced a+b coco from what I’ve learned! Tbh I’m thinking of switching nutes to as they are kind of week for late veg the Npk ratio doesn’t seem to do it even when I go over??! But none of the less and maybe try germinating in a bit of great white and they usually pop with in 15/24hr max buddy of good genetics!!! Add me on IG for way more content!! @NEXTDOORGROWER

As xmcrazy as it sounds, have you inspected the leaves undersides dormant "friends". It is ideal spidermite tine for us uk tribes. Certainly looks ready to rock now.

@Ganjagrandaddy, Yeah I've checked with a loupe and not found any intruders but there was alot of them a few weeks back. Might be residual damage? She is just doing her second run of pistils now and is looking okay in her buds but I think those leaves are essentially dead at this point.

Great update UK. Lots of info and some great pics to follow your thinking and planned organics. Gnats are a pain in the arse and need dealing with very fast. They can each lay 100-200 eggs and gain number . I used a powder that you top dress with. Instant killing adults and emerging babies too but has no I'll effects to plant agorathin I think it is called. Works brilliant and now no gnats anywhere at all for 2 harvests since. Love what your doing . Keep up the good work mate. Temps back to reasonable now thankfully.

@Ganjagrandaddy, Thank you mate 🙂 so far so good with the organic switch, especially now I've got some mulch going. Yeah I really hate them, got some nematodes on the way to treat them so hopefully with the mulch and Pearlite I can reduce their numbers for a few days until nematodes arrive. I'll have a look at that agorathin now, is it organic? Can you store it for a good amount of time? Thanks again growmie appreciate it and yes hopefully now the temps should go back to normal 👍 Low humidity is a problem for me at the moment and it's causing slightly slower grow I think. Any tips on a cheap humidifier? Peace ✌️😎
