First week things are coming along strong 💪 I am super excited to be growing my first Fast Buds seed, and damn does that wedding glue look amazing! So one week down, seed popped after about 3 days which was pretty quick and now sits in my “veg tent” in a 7 gallon fabric pot. Can’t wait to watch this little girl grow up!

Still small so just been watering every 4-5 days. First set of leaves besides cotyledon are getting bigger…. Went to my weaker lamp because the 100 watt hort lighting group qb was a bit much for right now. I think I need to water less and more frequently.

Still slow going for the first few weeks… changed back to the smaller seedling light because I burnt the cotyledon a bit… the first set of leaves are growing longer and thin, and the second set is beginning to grow (hard to see in the pics but will add more. Not 100% sure when to put it in the bigger tent and put it under my 300 watt dimmable HLG qb LED. No nutrients yet, waiting for the third set of leaves. Overall looking alright….. already in final 7 gal pot and ready for it all to speed up!!! Any questions or advice always welcome! So excited for these Fastbuds seeds!!!

Fed twice this week, first with light nutrients and then with water at a ph of 6.6. Probably just a half gallon each time… she is starting to drink more but I am being careful not to overwater. Looking nice and green, hopefully lots of growth this coming week! … shoot almost forgot to add, unfortunately broke my 100watt Horticulture Lighting Group light and swapped it out for my 260 watt 4K dual board kit light from HLG… too much light for the tent but it’s dimmed down all the way and I’m not really seeing any burning or severe stress yet. Let’s see what these Fastbuds seeds can do!!

Lo try s of growth this week and everything seems to be drinking a bit quicker. Staked it out because it was getting top heavy. Stalk is growing much larger and I also topped now that growth has taken off (I know some say don’t top autos but who knows!). Gave it a larger feeding this time around, and I hope it likes it!!! Need to move it to my taller tent this week to get it ready for flower! Pictures aren’t the best but I am working on using a better camera in the future! Any suggestions or advice always appreciated!

Tons of growth this week and pistils starting to shoot out everywhere… will be moving it to my flower tent with my HLG 360 RSpec to start building that crystal up… probably gained about 6 inches in height after topping… been LST to get the branches all under the light. Excited to get it into the flowering tent because it’s about to blow up! Thank you @fastbuds for a great strain!!!!

This week I saw tons of growth! It is finally ready to move into my taller flowering tent. I fed with bloom tea this week for the switch over from veg to bloom and she seemed to love that. In the next few days I will move them and give them a nice biobizz bloom feeding to get them to start putting on some weight and crystal… with the tent change the light will also be changed to the rspec and the airflow will be much better… overall it’s a better grow situation and will help get it to where it needs to be!!! Can’t wait for them crystals!!!! I’m so excited for some good flower, it’s been too long!!!!!!

What a week!!! Talk about explosive growth. Finally got it into the flowering tent and as soon as that change was made and it was put under a light with rspec (thanks HLG!!). The flower tent allows for much better control of light, humidity, temp, smell and even size… I added 4 main stakes to pull the plant open on the inside and that has also allowed for continuous growth…. I think I am going to step up nutrient strength because I am starting to see some minor deficiencies while my baby uses everything it has to make flowers!!! Man what a strain! I can’t thank FastBuds enough! Can’t wait to grow more FastBuds!

This week the flowers are really starting to grow. I love how fast these FastBuds seeds explode! Everything is growing so quickly I am already seeing some deficiencies that are usually reserved until the way end. I moved the light further away and even turned it down (just a click or 2) to combat a little bit of burn and foxtailing. If you actually read the instructions on my light it says to keep it 18-24”, so I was being a little bit ambitious anyways… trying to rotate feedings between terp tea, biobizz, and some water and molasses. I think I have things adjusted to the right spots at this point and will hopefully just have more crystals to show next week! Big shout out to FastBuds for the best seeds around and of course Horticulture Lighting Group and Gorilla Grow Tents for making my hobby always fun and possible!

Just trying to get it as much food and cool air to keep everything growing larger…. Seeing some orange hairs. The buds are really starting to show lots of trichomes mostly clear and white. I would guess another week of feeding and then some flushing will do! This is the fun part but I need to keep up my A game so I don’t have any mold problems when finishing… any suggestions to combat mold in the drying process as well as the end of flowering? Still tempted to bring the light closer but I know that will start burning the leaves again and causing more foxtailing. Overall good week… hoping for a cold dry weather week to come!!!

How do you pack on crystal near the end of flowering? Always looking for some extra strength!

Keep RH around 40-50%. UV exposure during flower can increase trichome production. If you have UV in your lights, you don't want it on during vege phase or even early bloom, i bet. It's a stress that causes the growth of trichomes. It will adapt to UV and be resistant to it, if you expose from start (like field crops do -- this is why initial studies showed it did not help.. they were testing plants out in a field and exposed to sun from sprout, which have developed resistance to UV.) Certain stresses can cause it to occur. heat, low rh%, UV rays etc etc... but becareful not to piss off plant and grow nanners in your quest to augment trichome production. I'd becareful with heat. The RH suggestion is safe.. uv should be safe, for the plant (do use precaution for yourself, as UV will cause skin cancer.) in the end, any technique you use is always relative to genetics. Can't put lipstick on a pig... well, i guess you could, but it's still a pig. Not a reference to your plants, but explaining concept.

So this week was a good one. I got the temperatures down to mid to high 70’s with the light on and about 68 with them off… pistils are getting there, I’d say almost 50% orange at this point.. still packing on weight and crystal, and will begin the flush process now to see if I can flush for at least a week maybe 2… I can always tell the last two weeks because even with my carbon filter my room starts to smell lovely 😊. The RH has been low due to the colder environment sitting in the mid to low 40’s. One or two weeks of flush then time to hang!! Almost there!

Overall this was a really fun and pretty easy strain to grow! My first auto turned male on me so this is the first auto harvest I have had and I am impressed!!!! What a strain and what genetics…. FastBuds will be my go to for autos for sure.. still in process of drying and curing, let’s hope it stays nice and dense like the buds are currently. Can’t wait for the purple punch and the strawnana and blueberry!! Can’t wait to taste the sweet cake flavor with the strength of the glue… very excited for final completion!
