Just a little run down on our method here,
We are keeping the plants in a hydro (coco) setting until transplant when we will be using organic methods.
We have found it eliminates all manner of problems and yields high growth for those first 10 days.
This is the most critical time these first days so stick with what works.
Think this is the third time we have grown this genetic, Into water 9/15
9/17 Good color tail - planted
9/20 let the veg begin
I really do not like the grow medium we chose for the seedling, lesson learned do thy own coco prep.
So transplanting to try and get em past it roots look good so praying we got these pots right as the grow depends on it.
No nuets for a while pot is loaded with Dr Earth Grow
Soil PH showing 6.9 -6.8 happy with that much.
Soil wetted to runoff
***
7 gallon pots
Pots were preped with 1TBS/gal Dr Earth Grow, 2oz Dolomite Lime, 1tsp/gal Cavern Culture, 1 tsp/gal Microriza fungi
They have been cooking since August all I know to do
10-7 Dropped lights to 20 hours
10/8 Transplants finished first feed 3 days after transplanting 1/4 cup Dr Earth Homegrown and a mix of goodies
GD does a horrid job of handling dry nuets its listed but the amount is meaningless
10/9 Looking MUCH better now seems all the boxes are checked for now for the Gold Leaf and Green Crack, tested pots for Nitrogen found them low so will be adding more N as we go.
Gor Glue improved greatly as well , others lagging but seem ok-ish Reduced light to Bruce Banner and GSC by half they just a bit young yet.
10/10 Last update for the week:
Feed tomorrow increasing FIsh Mix to 5ml/gal Nitrogen still a bit low
Bruce Banner has turned a corner and top growth is excellent in form and color.
Girl Scout Cookies similar but less so she has further to go but color and form of top is also excellent.
Gor Glue is just pretty as hell and doing good.
Ditto for green crack and gold leaf
10/12 Week four start
Ok very glad to see the success we have been granted and working on the issues. Think the crisis point has passed and things line up a little.
General - Pots are good on Nitrogen so just including some biobizz for the sugars and trace stuff. No real deficiencies to deal with in general.
Problem child GSC ... just have to treat it like the others and do what we can clock is running out on this girl to pick up.
Bruce Banner is better and growing so not changing anything there.
Gor Glue is looking so tasty she has picked up enough to consider cloning down the line.
Green Crack, hey whats not to love how she is growing? Also cloning her.
Gold Leaf surprisingly our largest plant absolutely cloning God willing.
So it looks like the clone grow will end up as GG, GC, GL two each in a few weeks
10/13 pics no issues
10-14
Feed adjusted to add a little extra Phos and goodies, added Biobizz Bloom - not a big fan of it but should work excellent in this application
Weekly Recharge application as well
water use up a bit as expected
Some notes on the grow***************
I am getting used to the idea of letting the dry ferts do the heavy lifting and just keep things copasetic with liquids.
For one they are more complete, but lets be honest easier to go wrong for a long time as you got to live with em for a couple of weeks at least.
So far I have found Dr. Earths feed schedule correct FOR A LIGHTISH SOIL, unknown for heavier prob ok there as well since we had to add Nitrogen with a light dose in the pot. 1/2 schd
Biggest change is mindset, from feeding the plant to feeding the soil so it can feed the plant, from complete control to guidance, and from dependence to independence.
Working now to replace the packaged dry ferts with the raw minerals and amendments, need land for compost in any quality so still buying that for the foreseeable future.
So the guy gets to sell me soil, meh cost of doing business but someday.
Not going to be easy and expect a lot of bumps but looking for an end product in ourselves, not just the plants.
That is something we had to learn and still are.
This plant is helping cure us of ills that would otherwise be rather hopeless so perhaps that is what He wanted us to learn.
Meh enough of my ramblings, yall help people grow pot.
😎
10/15
all good enough, Next top dressing for dry ferts 10/21 plan 3 TBS Dr.Earth Grow, 1 TBS Dr Earth Flower Girl, 1 TSP Fox Farms Cavern Culture to carry through topping and end of veg. Next top dress will be half and half grow bloom decreasing grow as we go but wont lose it entirely ever for the CA and MG
BTW if you play attention to the over head shot you can see how far the roots have taken in each plant, just the way it works.
For example the gold leaf has about filled hers while the GSC has really yet to take hold with a drip line still over the original container.
Vertical growth always picks up greatly when this is accomplished and a good indicator.
Which means of course if you use large pots like these are you have to give em a longer veg to do this but once done you get the full bene of the large pots
10/16
Pics - no issues to address - seriously plants are are healthy or better than any I have ever grown.
All the roots are filling the pots so happy tent
10/17
Feed - no recharge that will be every other feed - increased nitrogen and gave cal-mag a bump up
Upped kangaroots for the smaller plants that have yet to finish root building. Next feed 10/20
10/20 week 5
We have no complaints on the grow, at all. Literally nothing to address.
God has been kind indeed
Top dress nuets at next feed.
Just maintenance, keeping the low end clear etc.
Due to falling temps think the watering/feed will wait another day.
Gold Leaf - Finally going vertical, two inches in two days so keeping an eye on it
Green Crack - Close to topping day for her will take care of it on the top dressing
Bruce Banner - finally hitting her growth as well watching
Gor Glue - Just looks great not sure on topping here either
GSC - Man what a turn around may regret that 3 gal pot. Cutting back on the special kanga she was getting to help the roots, seems to have worked.
10/21
Fed and top dressed - topped
10/22
GC-BB-GL all recovering from topping
Plan to flip tent in a few days about the time they finish recovery
Dialing back Nitrogen by switching from Fish Mix to Bio-Grow think we at the upper range of it.
Had some mag spotting on the leaves of the BB think its due to the heat getting out of hand the other day (90 F for about 1/2 hour ) going to keep cal-mag in the mix just the same
10/23
After looking at the tent this morning I am seeing some small signs of Nitrogen being a tad high so ending for now the bio-grow but will continue the Bio-bloom
Have to head these things off at the pass so trying
Last run of kangaroots its done what its going to do by now since we aint fighting root eating critters
10/24
Fed as shown, basically its just a watering
Watching leaves flipping within a day or two
10/25
Tent flipped to 12-12
10/26
Looks just great god willing and the creek dont rise we on the right path
Video is on the Green Crack Diary only net is slow today
Running some Big Bloom see how it does
Week 6 10/28
Main diary so always check here
Day behind, dock my pay :D
Fresh pics tonight at lights on
First cold-ish weather of the year so getting environment right
Popping pistils everywhere in the tent so calling in flower 3 days since flipping close enough
Adding the bloom and grow goodies at low strength at feed tomorrow watching for when to top dress sched says 11/4 see what plants say
Be top dressing with half grow half bloom and a tad more cavern culture for extra P
GL GG BB GSC GC all healthy and on the same feed God willing things will continue likewise
10/29
Looking well - Stretch has begun in earnest on the Green Crack and Gold Leaf inch or two a night or so
11/1
Pic nothing to address
11/2
Watering day in advance of top dressing in 3 days
Up the super thrive a bit more comfortable with it
Touch of bloom and big bloom
11/5
Top dressed with 2 tbs dr earth grow 2 tbs dr earth flower girl 1 tps cavern culture
Watered - pots too dry
From the way they look and the soil I should have done this yesterday so a little wilty on the GC they getting about 4/5ths a gallon/3 days so thats going up to /2 days
Removed biobizz for now dont want to over do it
Recharge on next watering
11/7
Plan for watering in the morning
light Big Bloom - Recharge - Cal-mag - light biobizz - ST
Looking good
11/8
Watering pics
week 8
11/11 Introduced Soul Peak PK One time dose just to shake hands with it see how they react
Moved the GG so more room
11/13 Watering @ 1 gal per pot
11/15
Ok eval day on the nuets
Good position to be in grateful for the grow.
Going to continue low dose of Soul Peak the stuff has an effect though this use is "Off Label" so to speak
Just a couple of days from next feed of Dr Earth and Co top dressed with an inch of new soil in prep for this.
will be 3-1 bloom-grow this round for those
Not seeing any deficiencies and stems look good so change nothing in that respect, no toxicity either though a couple of time Nitrogen was too high by a tad.
Bio-bizz? Meh keeping it around its as good as any bottled nuets and its so far keeping things level. Bloom only from here if nothing changes
SuperThrive, its not utterly obvious but this stuff has an effect, dont use too much too early but a little is golden. Keeping
Cal-Mag, Recharge, and Big bloom of course doing their thing well, keeping as is.
Here's to the next month see what happens
11/17
Some signs of CA def showing in spots.
Watered and feed, increased cal-mag to 5 ml/gal, bloom to 10 ml/gal, Peak to 1.5 ml/gal others remain as was.
Top dress soon as pots dry a bit a bit early to do so just yet.
11/18 Week 9
Flowering stretch seems to have ended very happy with what we got.
Top dressed 7 gallon pots with 1.5 TBS Grow, 3.5 TBS Flower, and 1 tps Cavern Culture
Looks like I am a couple of days behind the CA curve some strains are HEAVY eaters like the Green Crack and GSC some are more middle of the road like Gold Leaf others like Bruce Banner and Gor Girl seem to be on the light side. Makes timing this a bit challenging but moving the schedule to every 12 days down from 14 per Dr. Earth.
3 gallon was 1 TBS Grow 2 TBS Flower 1 tsp Cavern
Next top dress 12/1
Keeping cal- mag at full till sure these CA defs have cleared
11/20
Look good defs have cleared
11/22
Well that was a little premature. The heavy feeders again GC, GSC. New strains new methods meh expected.
Defs continue on the GSC, small pot large plant problem, has drained the pot of nuets so correcting.
Added extra Dr Earth in a half grow half bloom mix, 1 TBS. Should have more impact on the smaller pot.
Gave a bit of bio-grow in the watering as well
GC similar but large pot so less impact
Others are fine so there ya go
11/24
Fed and watered
11/27
Fed and watered top dress next watering
week 10
No complaints at all, just trying to keep it on the path.
11/30
Top dress 5 TBS a day early busy tomorrow same mix 3-1 bloom to grow
12/2
Watered
week 11
12/4 Slight nuet change based on leaf observations
Changed the tent brought my problem child GSC to the fore to keep an eye on her. Better now but not thinking its ok yet
GC looking better but half an eye on her as a heavy feeder.
GG just looks good think these genetics are great.
BB is spectacular ditto on the genetics
GL is a real beauty watching her leaves for any sighs as she is eating hard and fast now.
Less than a month to go God willing and the creek dont rise
12/5 pics
12/7
Upping nuets at feed tonight
Heavy feeders (Green Crack and GSC) get a doubling of the bio-bizz to 10ml/gal
All get 5ml of Soul Peak
12/10
Final top dressing tonight they just pulling nuets in so moving things ahead a bit.
All 7 gal pots get 1.5 TBS Grow 3 TBS Bloom .5 TBS Cavern culture
Full dose of Soul Peak tonight 10ml/gal be the last use I think we will see
Giving a full dose of Cal-Mag want them to have all the CA they need.
Taking the bio-bizz stuff to the low end cutting out grow completely bloom only a bug dose 2 ml
Just cant say I am real happy with bio-bizz but then prob on me
Feed schedules dont really hold in organic growing, pretty much a guide unlike hydro which is very regimented by necessity
This lesson is why my plants have so many colors in them lol 😉

Last day for her she did well ILGM
This GC took after the Skunk parent and the buds remained hairy never closing in fact out of all the GC we have grown only one, Ripley from the feb 19 grow that produced the one pounder was indica taking after the Afgani.
And its proving strong across the board from breeder to breeder, not saying it cant be fouled up though
Had we flipped a few inches taller I have no doubt it would be a one pound plant
Grow it!
