So many problem. Burnt tips, yellowing leaves, throwing star leaves. I'm at the top of my tent with light and plants still growing I'm at 18 inches now but can't go any higher. With that being said my Temps are in the 82° danger zone.

So my struggles are finally paying off my girls went into flower!!! Northern lights- did some low stress training to bring main cola down away from light. Added some vinegar in bowls and shot glasses to grow tent to control these flying knats(which bite). Pineapple auto- she's in flower I'm just concerned with all the lower leaf issue's that it's going to affect buds. I've over watered this plant which started the leaf issue's at like 3 weeks. At week 4 I trimmed all the fan leaves off which put it in stress almost haulting all growth for a week. Oh and the knats! I will never use walmart soil again for my grows or house plants. The neem oil has really knocked alot of them out. So the leaf burn and star leaves began at week 5 and it was the only feeding i gave my plants with cal mag and within 2 days the throwing star leaves and burning began.. not sure if it was the cal mag or the knats being so bad at that time. But thru all of it this plant has been a fighter!! You can see in pics the new growth and bud sights are healthy so I hope she fights all the way to the end! I would like to thank Growdiaires and it's community for the opportunity to help and share with others. I appreciate all help, views, likes, comments and support. We all share a common interest and knowledge is power! Thanks again till next week.

Can anyone tell me if this is going to effect my flowers? Should I cut these leaves out? What can I do to correct it? I left a pretty good description in week 7 of the battle with this plant.

Ola amigo tudo bem?

Hey fellow growers week 8 update in the books! Not much happened this week besides having to raise my light to its max! The pistols were showing signs of orange pistols but it looks as though they are burning 🔥 so measured my light to plant and was sitting at 15 inches so I got it back to 18 inches but if these plants stretch any further I'm going to have to cut a hole in the top of my tent for the light!! So I finally had a week of ease. Thanks for viewing my grow and be sure to smash the like button and drop a comment I'm on here a lot prob more than I should be. Sorry for the bad pics this is a closet grow and its pretty tight quarters with no light so I have to work with what I got! Well until next week Best of luck and Happy growing!!😎🌱💚💪💪

Hey guys/gals welcome to my first grow diary! Well it's week nine and it's still 🔥 in my tent. So I decided to change my light from the philizon 600w to a Viparspectra vs1000 to try to help the flowering and see if it would cool my tent down some. It helped by a degree or two but anything helps! The 🌸 were responding to the Viparspectra very well until I missed a watering day and she got to dry from my blazing tent. So when I came home and checked on my girls I noticed my Northern lights is lime green and the bottom leaves are yellow and falling off. So did some research and it's nitrogen and a lack of other nutrients that cause the loss of color. So gave a heavy feeding. The only problem with that is the top layer of soil absorbed water and then it all ran to the bottom of the pot and into the runoff tray so I let them soak for 10 mins and then drained runoff. So the top and bottom are moist and I can push on the side of pot and u can feel it's dry soil but the pot feels heavy. So I will wait it out and feed again. I have noticed the color coming back to the Northern lights so their is improvement! No issues with pineapple auto! UNTIL..... Don't use neem oil on your plants in flower!!! Before u wonder yes! I sprayed them in dark cycle. They soaked over 11 hrs before lights on. It literally says on the bottle u can use up till harvest day! So I drenched them in neem oil lastnight because I believe the bugs are causing a lot of my deficiency problems. Got up this morning and bugs are still flying all around. The neem oil is a bust! Also checked the plants as soon as lights on this morning to make sure oil was absorbed and noticed all the pistols on both plants are fried. They were white and plump yesterday so that's all I can think it could be. I did read an article that also says that neem oil shouldn't be used in flower because it has chemicals toxic to humans. Here I copied the article: Neem Oil will leave an unpleasant taste/smell on buds when used to treat flowering plants, so don’t let this stuff get near your buds! There’s also some evidence Neem oil may be harmful to humans so use with care! That being said, Neem oil is an all-natural remedy that is very effective against many different types of bugs and mold. You will need a mister (also called a “One-Hand Pressure Sprayer”) to spray all the leaves evenly since neem oil and water can separate easily. *Bugs* so I've said this before but in case your just reading this week of my diary I bought some cheap potting soil from Walmart for this grow. I spray my sapling with a spray bottle for the first 7 days for water and on day 2 spraying the soil I noticed little tiny white bugs crawling all over the soil and from then on it's been a battle that I'm losing. I have now ordered some dematious earth sure I didn't spell that right! Hoping this will help. We shall see. Well till next week! What's up fellow growers another week in the books! Well let me start off with this has been a horrible week for this grow! My ladies are sick. So acouple days after their 10/15 feeding I noticed both plants were moist on bottom and moist on top and dry as hell in the middle. I found this out by my pineapple auto leaning over! The roots on one side of this plant are practically gone. With having this knowledge I gave them a couple more days to dry out and then yesterday I did a ten gallon flush and the 11th gal I gave them another feeding. I also added more of the walmart soil that I still had left to try to firm the plant up more. It seems to have helped. But upon adding more of this soil I just added more pest. There's little white bugs crawling all over my pots. The flush seems to have made things worse but I know it takes a few days for signs of corrections to take place. So I'm waiting and hoping I don't lose these plants in that amount of time. They are both yellowing badly. 10/15/21 5.3ml Micro 4.7ml Grow 6.1ml Bloom Ph 6.5 Solution temp 73.1°F 10/22/21 10 gal flush with 11th gal being feed 3ml cal mag 2ml micro 4ml bloom Ph 6.28 631ppm Solution temp 73.3°F At this point I'm not sure if it's pest related or deficiency. So I will just sit and see what happens. The new growth on buds is green but all the old growth is dying off. Well until next week if their is one! Best of luck and Happy growing!😎🌱💚💪💪

Not 100% sure but they could be Springtails( growdiaries.com/grow-questions/39905-white-strange-insects ). The other is like ojeterpelon said mealey bug. If you can see how they react when in a jar of water. If they spring(shoot) really fast across the water around 1" at a time they most likely are. In which case they are harmless to the plant, but usually stress out the grower 😃. As for the look, Your correct in you just flushed them and now they are hungry. When I need to do a flush once I complete the flush I finish it with a light dose of the usual feed to make sure they have something. Good luck and Happy Growing

Hey fellow growers another week in the books! Not a lot going on this week except some leaf plucking! Total plant life is 77 days old( 10 days over Northern lights supposed to be harvest time). I'm in my harvest window now for pineapple auto. Neither plant is close to ready! Both could prob use another 2-3 weeks! I will start my 2 week flush today on these ladies. As I need this tent for drying. I would try to stretch these ladies a little longer but as fast as they are yellowing I'm not sure if I can even make it through the two week flush! These girls have started defoliating themselves and I'm running out of fan leaves. Thanks to my rookie mistake of defoliating all my fan leaves off both plants some weeks back! All the issues these plants have are my mistakes. Like I just found out that changing from blurple lights to white lights in flower could have stressed these ladies🤯💩🤬! Now that I think back and look back my girls were doing well up till light change! Live and learn is what this has become for me. Not a pro and prob won't ever be until I can figure out this nutrient feeding. I can look on all these different sites and everyone will tell you a different amount to feed and still have yet to find one single feeding suggestion chart for an auto flower using my nutrients. Well as u know from last week I did a 10 gal flush to correct dry pockets in my soil. It helped! Both plants will now hold a gal of Solution instead of a 1/4-1/2 gal. It didn't improve the yellowing of either plant. I was told to stop giving nitrogen as the plants themselves are passing maturity and are nearing the end of their lifespan. I thought when u stressed an autoflower it just set u back a week so u had to grow a week longer. What I was told is an autoflower is genetically designed to go a certain length of time and once it passes that time that's it! So losing a week to stress is a week lost of 🌸. Can anyone reassure me that this is the case because it is important to me to know that I'm putting out accurate info to others. So enough rambling... 10/27/21 3ml calmag 2ml micro 4ml bloom 1/2ml ph down Ph 6.38 631ppm Solution temp 70.4°F 10/31/21 Will begin flushing today! So while the site was down for 2 almost 3 days🤬 I got bored and started an Instagram page for my grows! Now keep in mind I'm no instagrammer! I mainly did it so when I need to show someone pics of my plants it's faster on there than here! I also became an affiliate for Viparspectra!! Well growers I have brought this grow to and end! I will be cutting these ladies today! I have done enough damage to these ladies. They are being cut early in flower stage not plant life. There is a reason I'm taking these ladies early. As u know if you have been following me I have two grows going at the same time. This is my first grow and I started my second grow behind it thinking this tent would be finished for drying! Well I was WRONG as u know my frosty critical purple #2 in my second grow is almost ready! With the damage I've done to these ladies I'm willing to sacrifice them to make sure my critical purple has the best drying environment. It kills me to end the Northern lights as this is my favorite strain! But I do have 2 more Northern lights seeds! I will be running them in the future if not in my next grow. I will most likely stick to the 5 blue dreams as I want to run a grow of all same strain so I can enter some of these contest. I know I could do separate diaries on each strain but as I have learned doing these two grows at the same time it becomes very time consuming keeping up with all the data to do my diaries. So I wanna keep it simple. From this point on I will only be growing in my 48x48x80 and drying in this tent which is my 24x24x60. The pineapple auto doesn't bother me as much seeing that I have two more in the other tent that are out shining this one by far! I won't lie I may get the urge to throw both Northern lights seeds in on my next grow or possibly my little tent. If I don't they will be in my third grow for sure as I'm an indica fan and my wife is team sativa and the blue dream is sativa so I will have none for me! I will do a harvest update next week. Here's my last watering stats... 10/31/21 Water both plants Ph 6.1 182 Ppm 1.25 ml Solution temp 70.8°f I also became an affiliate for Viparspectra!!
