The CHEESE from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS is a classic strain, which I have grown often before. This plant was grown from the ORIGINAL seeds from the HIGH TIMES CANNABIS CUP 2006, where this strain won the INDICA category and started its LEGACY! The CHEESE has a typical funky aroma to it, that is very recognizable once you have smelled it. This plant HAD THE TYPICAL CHEESE AROMA and smelled AWESOME! The dense and hard nugs of the CHEESE are DELICIOUS TO SMOKE and have a STRONG MEDICINAL effect. This strain takes away my chronic back-pain right away and lets me totally relax. It is VERY POTENT and therefore more a NIGHTTIME smoke! I LOVE IT!

The BIO NOVA nutrients line for SOIL CULTIVATION works AMAZING. The plants have a healthy green color throughout the whole cycle until the FLUSH is started. The development of buds is GREAT and the amount of trichomes FLABBERGASTING. The purity of the nutrients works PERFECT in the AUTOPOT system, I had no clogged hoses or anything.
Lights
The NEW EVO4-120 LED lights from SANlight did an OUTSTANDING JOB! The lights have the PERFECT SPECTRUM and INTENSITY for growing Cannabis. The plants grow healthier and develop quicker than under HPS and the HARVEST OUTCOME IS BETTER AS WELL!
In THIS CYCLE I HARVESTED 649,2 GRAM OF DRY-BUD under 500 Watts of LED-light.
This means I achieved and average of 649,2/500= 1,3 GRAM PER WATT!
THAT IS FANTASTIC and better than all I achieved under HPS.
Tents
The AMBIENT Q120 from HOMEBOX in Germany is my favorite grow-tent. It is made from materials of the highest quality, its sturdy built and has a good reflection. I have been using it for years and I am VERY SATISFIED with it.
This one plant of CHEESE from BIG BUDDHA SEEDS was grown from the ORIGINAL SEEDS from the HIGH TIMES CANNABIS CUP 2006 in Amsterdam. Gifted to me by Milo, the breeder of BIG BUDDHA SEEDS, right before he won the INICA CUP with the strain and started its worldwide legacy.
I love to grow this strain, unfortunately I ran into some nutrient problems with this plant. My PH-meter was not calibrated correctly and I overfed the plant with a solution of 5,0...this made the leaves go crispy and start a yellowing in week 5 of flowering. In order to save her I flushed her pot well with lots of water and then stopped giving nutrients all together. This diminished the development and finally the harvest weight substantially!
The one plant harvested only 48 gram of dried bud (normally Cheese is a good harvester!)
The quality of the buds was OUTSTANDING...very dense nugs with looooooooots of trichomes and sooooooooo delicious to smoke. Typical oldschool CHEESE aroma and taste!

hey there,
Great set up you have got there!
Always curious about the Sanlight, they have plenty power for your growtent.
But I think you should hang them 20 cm higher and see how that works out !
I think you will like the results because as your pictures show they had a lot of light stress.
More is not always beter, myself bought recently a Telos 010 pro and it burned all my seedlings @ 120 cm,
I had to learn my ways around a quality fixture that's all.
Now? I'm loving it, not only in yield but special in the quality of the buds.

@SanderanderS, HI, there! Thanks for your kind words and also the tips about the lights. I had the SANlight EVO4-120 lamps dimmed throughout veg. and beginning of flowering, therefore I dont think they had light stress. After my plants showed yellowing and some crispy leaves I checked my ph-meter and calibrated it again. It was off by a full PH-point! That means I fed them with ph=5,0 instead of ph=6,0 and that brought my soil out of balance and the plants could take up nutrients anymore...
