I started Lucy 11/6/21, she split within 24 hours, I planted her in soil from "A Pot for Pot" which is a mixture of "superb soil", coco, and perlite. (Bottom of the pot (5 gal) is 1/4 full with superb soil only, the rest is filled with a mix of the soil, with coco and perlite.) I used a solo cup filled exactly as the 5 gal pot was. She sprouted 11/9, and was ready for transplant 11/26. She had a nice firm root ball (thank you Mykos) and the transplant went seamlessly. She was a bit mad for a couple of days, since most of the moisture in the pot was below the level she was planted. She got her roots into the lower part of the pot a few days ago and has been growing like crazy since. (This week she stared out at 4.5 inches, and yes, she's flowered! Today she is 9.25, nearly 5 inches in a week.) She showed her first flower on day 16(!!!), and has been busy growing flowers all over since. Apparently, Lucy doesn't believe in a veg state. I finally made the decision today to perform a modified LST on her, pulling her branches out from under the fan leaves so they can get some light. She has flowers down to node 3 though I suspect that won't amount to much. I jumped on this site b/c more growers have grown this strain and there is simply more information on the type. I'm open to all suggestions as a first time grower. Additional info: I'm a newly retired teacher, on a "fixed income" as we say, so I have to keep my costs down for the time being. If I have reasonable success, I plan to upgrade to higher quality lights in the future after I have saved for them.

12/5 - She is 27 days old today. She got her feeding last night, and was so happy she didn't droop at all at bedtime. She was also very perky when she got up this morning. I put the ties on her last night, and this morning tightened them a bit. She has a very upright habit, her branches were growing straight up. This should help. I am not touching the top in any way on my first grow, I wanted to see how she'd do allowed to develop naturally. Today, she is 10.5 inches tall. She's been growing .5 inches + daily, and hopefully will keep that up for a bit. 12/6 - 28 days, tied back a couple more branches last night before bedtime. She is growing like crazy - she reached 12 inches this morning! This is her greatest gain in a day. She's got some stretch in there now. Lights are set at 55 DLI this morning. She seems to very much like the 20 hours of light. Got a better color picture today - shows more her actual color. 12/7 - 29 days. 8 branches tied, two more later today. She's 12.75 inches this morning, I had been concerned she would stop gaining height, but not yet. I'm hoping for at least 18 inches. She is also somewhat light, she's right on the border (4) b/t "dry" and "moist". I finally gave up on distilled water for her humidifier - I'm not making special trips to the store. I'll go with tap water unless I'm shopping. Her RH in the tent drops into the 30s at night (she has a 4 hour lights out period daily) until I turn on the humidifier, then it's sitting in the high 40s, low 50s. I had to turn the lamp down a touch since she "grew into" DLI 65 this morning! (I normally check on her within one hour of her lights on time.) Her fragrance is becoming more enticing, I'm getting a bit more than a faint whiff now. Overall, a good week so far. I suspect she may get water today - tomorrow at the latest. 12/8 day 30. Now with 10 ties on her. Still gaining height - 14 inches - maybe she'll make it to the 18 that I was hoping was the least she'd do. 1/2 gallon of pH 6.5 with Sugar Daddy. Magical, and Awesome Blossoms at 1/2 strength. Got almost no run off. Might increase water in next time. I'm happy with her progress, her branches are getting longer and don't object to the strings. 12/9 Day 31 14.5 inches, so still growing slowly. I moved her to the floor of the tent and adjusted the lights. Working to get some slightly higher temps. 12/10 Day 32 15.25 inches at 7 AM, and weight 9 lbs - quite likely she'll need water tomorrow. She's grown about 6 inches this week so far, I'm pretty happy with that. Close ups reveal the start of frost developing on the sugar leaves. For a little girl, I think she's working pretty hard. I'm still trying to get a handle on a time line for her - but that's what this grow is for, to learn and do better next time. She's starting to get rather fragrant, a tease for days to come when I'm enjoying her product. 12/11 Day 32 16.25 inches tall at 7 AM. Weight 8 lbs, we're going to have a drink of molasses water (1Tbs of molasses) this morning. She's thriving with the light at 100%, the DLI is high at the top cola, but the side ones are happy to have the light and are growing. She is getting more smelly as we go along, less like mowed grass, more like a skunk. She's happy and healthy and I'm watching her like a hawk b/c I have no idea when she's going to finish!

12/12/21 Day 34 - Lucy received the above nutes with her .75 gallon of water yesterday. She is still growing between .5 and 1 inch per day. Her buds are getting longer - lower sites are now over an inch tall, and top is about 4 inches. The strain data indicates she should finish between 10 - 14 weeks, so I hope I'll have four more weeks for her to do her best. Her scent is developing - she now smells like weed, and has an distinct skunky odor. I think she's doing really well, she is going to be a little girl, but it's looking more and more as if I'll have a bit to smoke when this is all done. Notes for the last three seeds: Definitely top/FIM the next run, encourage a lot of lateral growth. Apparently the phenotype is a bit varied in this strain, with lots of shorties and the occasional tall one mixed in. 12/13 Day 35 - Lucy has grown .75 inches. She is now 17.5 and I'm convinced she'll get even bigger than 18 inches. She had used 1/2 of her water since Saturday. She was bright and perky when I saw her right after lights on. She has not drooped at all since the week of transplant, so I know she's feeling happy. Her flowers are developing noticeably every day. I'm now feeling pretty confident we're on the right path. Can't wait to see how she changes this week! 12/14 Day 36 - She made the 18 inch minimum I was hoping for. I was concerned because I read that typically a plant doubles in height after it starts flowering, well, she was 7 inches tall (barely) when that happened. Genetics are amazing things, no matter what you read and expect, plants being living things are going to do what their specific genes tell them. She's likely going to need water tonight or tomorrow, so our watering schedule has picked up. 12/15 Day 37 - 18.5 inches today! Grow baby grow! She needed water/nutes today, so she got 1/2 strength of Techniflora Bloom formula. 1/2 gallon used today and she did return some run off. Her scent is starting to intensify and her trichomes are visible to the naked eye. She had a light trim yesterday, removing lower level fan leaves to allow for better light penetration for the lower buds. 12/16 Day 38 - 18.75 this morning, not much growth in height yesterday but she drank a lot of water, about 2 lbs worth so about half. She is starting to smell so delicious! Light has been raised to the top of the tent, and light intensity - still at 100% - will be slowly dimmed if/when she grows taller. Maintaining 40 - 45 % RH during her 20/day light hours. 12/17 Day 39 - 19 inches today. She's slowing down gaining height. She was pretty light this morning, 8.2 lb, but she still has some moisture down the bottom of the pot, and she looks totally happy so I'll recheck later. Had to up the exhaust to keep the temp under 80, it's very warm here these last two days and so the grow room is quite warm. Her scent continues to intensify and it's just delicious. 12/18 Day 40 - Still at 19 inches. I believe she has stopped growing tall and is now concentrating on "wide". She had water with light nutes last night, she was telling me at bedtime that she badly needed a drink. 1/2 gal 6.5 pH, Recharge, Awesome Blossoms, MagiCal, and Sugar Daddy. Opening the tent now creates a puff of delightful scent. Can't hardly wait to see what next week brings!

12/19/21 Day 41 - Lucy is closing out week 6 strong. She has stopped growing vertically - she topped out at 19.25 - but she's starting to bulk up. I observed that her bracts are staring to swell up. She's still putting out a lot of pistils, and the lower buds are getting secondary branches. She had her last water Friday - without BC Boost and Bloom - and is using about a pound to a pound and a half a day. She will quite likely need more tomorrow. Her scent is intensifying and she smells quite irresistible now - sweet and skunky at the same time. I suspect we're getting into the final lap here, and think that she probably has two weeks left. Let's see how well my prediction goes! 12/20/21 Day 42 - Last day of her 6th week and she went crazy making new flowers overnight! She also drank nearly all of her water. She felt really light to me this morning, but rechecking with the moisture meters shows still with some moisture down the bottom of the pot so I'll hold off till later today. She's getting her full nutes today b/c her fan leaves are looking a bit pale to me. Want to be sure she's getting everything she needs while she's working this hard. 12/21 Day 43 - Starting calendar week 7. She had her A schedule nutes today, upped the strength on them to 3/4 this time. I think it's time to turn down the lights a bit, I've been running with DLI of 50 so far this week. She is a beautiful little jewel of a plant, and is smelling up a storm now. A leaf brushed against my hand when I lifted her today and I can still smell it on the back of my hand an hour later. I'm impressed. While due to her size, her yield will be limited, I think it's going to be some excellent smoke. 12/21 PM - Well, that was a rookie mistake. She immediately showed me she was unhappy with her feed - leaf tip burn. Very slight, but oh no! So I flushed her, PPMs at around 1000 from run off. Her pot is now a shocking 17.6 lbs, which is how I learned I've never had this pot completely wet. I checked her again a while later to be sure she wasn't sitting in water (I had let her drain sitting on a crate for a while before retenting her) and all was good. She looked perfectly content, no drooping or "sulking". I believe I dodged that bullet and I'm very happy she let me know right away she was unhappy. I will add Rechange the next time she needs water, which will be heaven knows when! 12/22 Day 44 That was a rough night for me, my poor girl. Not happy to have made such a careless mistake, but she's looking ok this morning. No drooping, no further issues with her leaves and the top of the plant seems to have escaped the damage. Her pot was 16.2, so over a pound down from last night. Humidifier is off for now, the RH is 35 which will be fine while she is "drying out". A reminder to myself: this strain does not like a lot of nutes. In the future, I'll keep the feeds at 1/2 strength, or perhaps a bit less. I'm glad I fuss over her constantly so I picked this up as quickly as I did. 12/23 Day 45. Lucy seems to have entirely forgiven me. Pot was at 13.4 this morning so we're using a lot of water. Finally turned the humidifier back on as the air RH was only 25% today. She smells wonderful. Took a few glamor shots and tucked her back into her tent to focus on ALL THE FLOWERS! 12/24 Day 46. All is well with Lucy today. She continues to develop her buds nicely. The smell is just delightful tonight. She's down to 11 lbs from 17.6 3 days ago, so she's really drinking up her water. 12/25 Day 47. Merry Christmas! Lucy is happily celebrating by snowing all over herself and bulking up her buds. Water wt 10.2 this morning, we're coming along nicely.

12/26/21 Day 48 - Lucy has experienced no problems following last week's overfeeding and subsequent flush. She's used up 9 lbs of the water she uptook during the flush. She is getting fatter every day, and her top now shows purplish leaves as they get ready to open and release the pistils underneath. The leaves then change to green. I accidentally touched a sugar leaf today while tending to her, and my finger was super sticky. She did gain .5 inch of height last week, due to the abundance of flowers she's unleashed on the top. When those burst open, they have multiple pistils instead of just two. I'm pleased about her progress and my friend who made a joke that she will be one giant bud may not have been that far off the mark. There are very few places that the main stalk is visible at this point. 12/27 Day 49 - All seems well, there are a couple of leaves acting strangely and I wonder what's going on with that. Hopefully nothing big! She is light this morning (7.8 lbs) so she has used up the flush water at this point. She will get a dose of Recharge with her water. 12/28 Day 50 - I checked her leaf temperature yesterday using my no touch thermometer. She's 75.5 degrees at the very top of the plant. She got 1/2 gallon of pH 6.5 water with 1/4 tsp of Recharge. She smells so strong now she's overpowering her gigantic air filter. 12/29 Day 51 - She continues to have a leaf temp of around 75, tent is varying between 75 - 77 throughout the day. RH at 40. This morning's weight was 8.6, likely will need water tomorrow. I'll watch her closely today for that. I've decided to monitor the "lifting leaves" as all temps, RH, pH, etc etc are within acceptable limits. I think she just likes to make me worry! 😉 12/29 11 PM: Nope, she needed water tonight. She got 1/2 gal 6.5 pH water, Awesome Blossoms, MagiCal and Sugar Daddy. The first two to 1/2 strength, the SD to 3/4 strength. Post water: 11.2 lbs. RH in tent: 40%, Temp: 75. Leaf temp: 75.5 All looks in order to me. Light currently set to DLI 35. 12/30 Day 52 - All is well with Lucy today, scent is getting insanely strong, glad I have a good filter. She drank 1 lb of water overnight, so she's still working hard. 12/31/21 Day 53 and Happy New Year from Lucy and me! She's started changing the colors of her pistils - they are turning orange, and some at the top are popping out of the buds as orange from the get-go, not starting white and changing. I'm sure this is a sign of her increasing maturity. I often hear 80 days floated around as typical harvest for an auto, but she's never done anything typically, so I'm expecting her to finish up in the next couple of weeks. 1/1/22 Day 54 Happy New Year! Lucy was light this morning coming out of the tent, but I decided to wait till a bit later today. I've got a big chore preparing the 3x3x6 tent, the new 300W light runs so hot I'm going to have to hang the giant filter/exhaust right above the light. I have a huge intake fan already installed. Lucy's been so comfortable in her little tent I haven't been in a rush. I plan to use the small tent to sprout/early veg my new girls, then move them to the new tent, the equivalent of the equator!

My plant was flushed last week and has now used all the water from that. She showed some curling tips this morning. Any ideas what's going on? Light set for 40 DLI. If she needs something, I want to add it today while she's thirsty. Thank you for your help!

Cannabis can take 60DIL and above in most test settings. curling leaves is heat stress though. however 26c is not that hot. and humidity is proper. It does seem to only be the upper leaves of the plant vs the bottom. It could be that the highest tips of the plants are experiencing higher temps then the rest of the tent. where is your sensor located to monitor temps? do you have an extra one for fault checking? week 5 was 18" distance from lamp and this 8th week its 12" this could be the main cause of this extra stress. at what height was the 40DIL calculated with your setup? maybe need to return it back to its older settings. Best of luck

1/2/22 Day 55 - Lucy is thickening her buds by the day. She is so dense you can barely see her stalk. The smell is very intense now, overwhelming her exhaust fan. I gave her 1/2 gallon of water this morning as she was at 7.2 lbs, she's now comfortable at 11.0 lbs. She got Sugar Daddy only today with her water. I was given advice to try to drop her temperature well into the 60s overnight to encourage color development, I need to move the tent to get at the floor vent so it's a bit of a job but could well be worth it. When I start running the other tent it makes sense anyway since the new light gets super hot. I feel that the end is near - I know it's always "about two weeks" but this time, it may indeed be true. 1/3/22 Day 56 - End of her 8th week and she really is starting to look like it's nearly time. Pistils are all turning orange, some are starting to get brownish. Time to get the microscope flared up and take a really good look. Hopefully I can get some good shots but it seems to be pretty difficult. 1/5/22 Day 58 - Missed yesterday, it was my day to start setting up pots for the next grow. I'm using A Pot for Pot - "superb" soil at the bottom, the top is coco mixed with a lot of perlite, some diatomaceous earth, and mykos. (I added extra). I've set up two pots so far - a 2 gallon and a 5 gallon. I have one more 5 gallon pot to go and I'll get that today. APFP recommends letting the pots age a bit before you plant. I've used a different technique for the solo cup - I cut the bottom out, cut the cup into three sections like a banana peel, and planted the cup into the soil and filled it. The purpose is to allow the baby seedlings to go from paper towel directly into the final pot, while keeping the roots and water contained within the cup. Once plants establish, you "pull the peels" out of the soil, voila, no transplant shock. I'm trying this since Lucy is such a shorty, just on the chance it wasn't 100% genetic. As to Lucy, she continues to ripen, her pistils are almost all orange or brown now. From what I can see, the trichomes are still clear or cloudy. I suspect I have about a week left, but the way Lucy has hurried things along, I have to keep a very close watch eye on things. I ordered a moisture meter to help me judge the drying process, and Grove bags for the cure. I can hardly wait, her scent is just intoxicating. 1/6/22 Day 59 - I trimmed her last night, removing most of the remaining fan leaves. Lucy continues to add some color every day, and the scent is nearly overwhelming and can be smelled through the door of the room - even though she's tented and has a really huge exhaust filter. I don't think it's going to be long now - maybe a week is my guess. 1/7/22 Day 60 - She's two months old! I noted today that she didn't use any water overnight, she was 8.8 at 10 pm, and 8.8 at 10 am. Keeping humidity at 40ish - my new humidifier has a hygrometer which will be a helpful addition. Night temp got down to 64 degrees, day is running low 70s. I had harvested a tiny piece of bud which I'm drying in a paper bag. It should be dry in a day or two, and I can get some idea of "what she's like". I suspect that harvest will be next week, but she hasn't been super predictable so who knows. 1/8/22 Day 61- The end of another very successful week. Lucy is slowing down water uptake, changing color and smelling up the grow room. I will be tasting my "test bud" later today. At this point, I need to check out info on harvest and trimming. I will be using Grove bags to cure her. She's done an amazing job for me, entertaining me and "keeping me company" for the last two months. I've learned a ton and fallen in love with the hobby. Hubby has taken to calling me Nero Wolfe, one of his favorite fictional detectives who spend hours a day tending his orchids. Nero ain't got nothing on me!

1/9/22 Day 62 - Despite Lucy being only two months old, I believe she is in the last week or two at most, unless she slows her ripening way down. I tested a bit of her bud yesterday, and she is going to be powerful once she's properly finished. I'll be carefully checking trichomes daily at this point because who knows when she will decide she's finished. Having all these detailed notes is going to help inform my next grow, where I will be planting three more LSD autos, and trying to correct any mistakes I've made this time. Lucy does look like she's going to have a great yield for her size. I have plans to help avoid what I think was a bit of transplant shock that may have played into Lucy's short stature. (Of course, it could have been strictly genetics, no way to every be sure.) This has been a very engaging learning experience. I hope to keep building in my knowledge, and eventually have more weed than I know what to do with! 1/10/22 Day 63 - The last day of Lucy's 9th week. She had a big surprise for me this morning - purple leaves! So pretty. She is getting down to 63 - 64 overnight (window is closed, heating vent is shut, it's really cold here this week!). She had been showing purple edges to leaves last couple of weeks, but changing over to her usual bright green. She did this overnight, which is her usual MO. She also used water last night - 1.2 lbs of it! She had been slowing way down to a few ounces a day. Who knows? I'm giving up trying to predict. Her scent is now so strong, it's nearly overpowering and easily defeats her massive air filter. Yum! At least we can't smell her downstairs. I know it can't be too much longer. 1/11/22 Day 64 - Welcome to the real week 10! Every day matters in the life of an auto, after all. Not much new today, just doing her thing and growing her buds, good girl! Also loving the purple leaves, and how she's taking on a pinkish cast. Last night's tric examination yielded - who knows? Trying to figure out "when" is quite the task for me. She is going to want a drink today, she's at 8 lbs this morning. All water from here on out. Can't hardly wait! 1/12/22 Day 65 Microscope pictures today - I wish I could more easily see these, and be able to interpret. I feel that we're very close - but just not sure if "today is the day!". If anyone sees these, I'd appreciate opinions - thanks in advance! 1/13/22 Day 66 Her colors continue to change - she has a lot of "pinkish" to her now, along with the purple leaves. I clipped another budlet for a test of readiness - I'll be checking this weekend. Looks as if we're going into week 11. 1/14/22 Day 67 - Had some other growers really look at her trichomes pictures for me, and the opinion is she is rapidly approaching peak THC. Yay! Advice was given to give her 48 hours of darkness after her next drink, which will likely be tomorrow, she still has water. (8.4 this AM) So looks as if the harvest is indeed going to happen next week, I'm really excited and sad in a way, she's become quite a "pet" to me over these last two. Oh well, I'll have her sisters to fuss over soon. I'm super curious how much dried bud I'm going to get off her tiny little 20 inch frame. 1/15/22 Day 68 - Cleaned up tons of leaves today, preparing her for her time in the darkness. In my usual style, I'm still waffling on what day to put her in darkness, was going to start today but perhaps I'll give it another couple of days. She is just inside the harvest window, seeing as how she's rated to finish b/t 10 - 14 weeks. She's always been in a rush but perhaps we'll slow down a bit for these last couple of days.

1/16/22 Day 69 - I was convinced I was going to be putting her into her 36 (48? Who knows?) hours of darkness today, but some loupe work last night convinced me to slow my roll for a bit. I still think it's going to be this week, just later in the week than I expected. Took some scope shots, see a tiny bit of amber. I'm not going for couchlock, but still - just a little more. I tested another wee bud (paper bag dry x 3 days) and I was very pleased. Strong, clear high with the energy I like to have, but still, I kept forgetting to finish the bowl. Some fun! I do have the Grove bags ready to cure her in, and a cool place to dry in plus my moisture meter (11% moisture in the bud = ready to cure - this is to remind me so I don't have to look it up AGAIN.) I'm hoping on my next run I'll have a better "eye" for ripeness. 1/17/22 Day 70 - Today was the day I expected to harvest, but I was waffling over it. This morning, I could smell Lucy in the hall, through the bedroom door, through the tent, and her oversized filter. Her scent increased by around 2x overnight. I also noted her buds are more swollen. Loupe reveals 90% cloudy, 5% clear, 5% amber. So I think she's in her final push before complete ripeness. I'm going to continue to scope/loupe every morning until I see a bit more amber, then into the dark she goes. 1/18/22 Day 71 - Still patiently waiting on her - today's loupe views show just like yesterday. She was very thirsty this morning, down to 6.2 lbs! So she got another watering, just pHed water, no nutes of course at this stage. 1/20/22 Day 73 - No change except in her scent. She is starting to smell "sweeter" and less "skunky". Her buds are all a lovely pastel pinkish purple, I think she's just gorgeous. She's going to be well worth the wait. 1/21/22 Day 74 - Again, no change in her trichomes under the scope. She's going to make me take her into week 12, much to my surprise. That's ok Lucy, dawdle along - I'm sure you'll be more potent for it. 1/21 - Oh WOW! Lucy won POTM at A Pot for Pot. I'm super psyched - as a newbie, this makes me even more excited to see what I can do next! 1/22/22 Day 75 - After looking all over her with my scope, I have decided tonight is the night - she is going into darkness after lights out. I'll unplug after she's gone "to bed". I gave her a small drink to prepare her for 2 days without me looking at her - which I'm sure will be harder on her than on me. She has been flowering since week 4 - she's had over 7 weeks (closer to 8) of flowering, which should do it. Her cloudy trichomes are swollen and opaque, I see a rare clear or two, and there are noticeable amber ones too - still a small amount but that's ok. Based on my test bud of a week ago - which was really good then - she has had some extra time to get "better".

1/23/22 Day 76 - Today was supposed to be her first "dark" day but I totally forgot to disconnect her lights, oops!! Oh well, one day won't make a difference. So I took her out and took a bunch of scope shots. She's got enough amber on her now - it's pale, but it's there. So I will remember about the lights tonight, and she'll be ready for the chop in a couple of days. I'm looking forward to that, though losing Lucy as my "pet" is going to be tough. At least I'll be ready to grow her some sisters! 1/24/22 Day 77 - Last day of her 11th week. She's in the dark, 8 week of flowering under her belt. Her test bud of nearly two weeks ago was quite good, so the extra finishing time likely just made her better. Studying up on harvesting/drying, and I have Grove bags ready for her cure. An exciting time, though it's really hard not to spy on her in her darkness. 1/25/22 Day 78 - Today's the day! She's been in the dark a little over 36 hours. I'm very nervous - even worse than the day I transplanted her from her little solo cup! I'm going to take a ton of pics before and after the chop. 1/25 PM - Busy day. I took Lucy out of the tent, took a million pictures - noting that her lower branches had spread during the dark period! Then she got to have a little vacation time in my guest room while I changed my tents. That took a few hours, moving the filter (which weighs about 30 lbs!) to the top of the new tent was very tough for one old lady. But it got done, I installed the window vent kit and ran a test of ability to control heat. I'm going to be able to make it work. Then I took out the drip pan from Lucy's tent and sanitized everything using the type of sanitizer they use on high chairs and toys at daycares. Left things to dry for a bit, tent was very clean except for calcium dust from using hard water in my humidifier. I put my new humidifier in the tent, set the hygrometer for 50% RH, put a tiny fan on the floor and opened the bottom vents. Cutting her down was MUCH harder than I expected - her stalk was as thick as my little finger and it put up a good fight. Finally managed though, and put her on the scale. Fresh cut weight = 9.14 ounces. Likely I'll end up with 1.5 or a little more once dried and cured. I downloaded directions on drying/sweating/curing from Grove Bags, which I'm using for my cure. Tomorrow I'll get out my moisture meter (the kind for drywall) and get it ready to test her. When she hits 11%, into the Grove Bags she will go. For me, this was a sad day. Having recently lost my 13 year old greyhound, Lucy became a "surrogate pet" for me and something to occupy me in my grief. I know I won't feel this way every time, but it was hard to cut her. Within the next couple of days, I'll be dropping seeds for her three sisters. Hopefully, I have as much success as I had with Lucy, and may all of the triplets survive and thrive. I'll be posting harvest stats next week. If you have been following, thank you! I hope you enjoyed watching this newbie complete her first grow!

This was my very first grow, so I have nothing to compare against, but I was a nervous newbie yet I managed to grow a very healthy beautiful plant that yielded 2.19 dry in under 80 days. I am a former science teacher with a lot of experience growing all kinds of plants (except cannabis!) and I've never seen a plant grow from seed to full maturity this quickly. She was a beautiful little jewel of a plant, fragrant and dense and very strong - the only problem she ever had was because I decided she needed "extra" food. Now I know how to trust the plant to tell me what she needs, and I look forward to repeating my success with her three sisters who are currently sprouting. As far as Grow Diaries is concerned, I love the format here with plenty of equipment and nutrient choices listed so I could keep track of every detail of this grow. I found the site after she had sprouted, but kept daily records of her development after I started. I now have an excellent record - and very well documented with plenty of photos! - that will give me lots to refer back to as I work on my second grow. I have recommended the site to a couple of grow buddies, and I hope the site continues to thrive, it is an excellent resource! Finally, thank you to all who followed along, and offered advice and encouragement along the way. I hope to return the favor in the future!
