Hello beautifull people!
2nd week of flower. Not so great news, i got deficiencies on one plant and i think it might have been bugs. I spotted one, so i immediately pulled out the big guns and used phytochlorex on the soil so they cant breed there. Few days later everything seems fine. Its early enough to use this kinda toxic product bcs its still pretty early in the plants life. I think i am in the clear.
Other than that i upped the nutrients a little to 4ml/l. Im doing top and bottomfeeding.
The nets are filling out nicely. There is one girl standing out and filling the screen better compared to her sisters.
If this RQS Blue Cheese is like Barney's Farm one , it will be a killer grow ! Will follow that, it's seems that a lot of grower are experimenting RQS this summer , good luck
@OutForReal, Yea i have grown Barney's to... twice. I got this sick blueberry pheno on the first time. One of the most tasty if not the most tasty plant i have ever grown.
RQS has always be in sight for me but never rly considered growing it. They have been around for years and keep up to date with modern genetics so have to give it a go :)
Thanks Spinner!
Dude, this is looking great! Definitely interested to see how she turns out. If your going to top it I’d do it real soon and it might help bush er out a little more (prob. Might’ve wanted to do it earlier though). Either way, looks like ya got the space for her to grow so best of luck. This ones gonna rock me thinks! 👍👍
@TheBudWhisperer, Hey man thanks for your help. I actually started topping at the 5th node i see now. Imma switch to 12h on monday and will continue to tuck the plant to fill the scrogg for 1 to 2 weeks and see from there. Im kinda to late to add co2 so i wont bother for this grow.
@GrowZex, my bad bud, I didn’t take a closer look at the pics and see what you mean now. Lookn awesome!👍 If they were originally topped at the 3rd or 4th node that’s the correct time to start (u don’t really want to do it earlier). Only issue with topping her more is that every time you top, you divide so your overall bud production per cola will reduce. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing if you have height restrictions but it looks like you’ve got lots of room in that tent so I’d get em as tall and plump as possible. Topping usually results in about a week of recovery for the plant and based on the current size, I’d probably stop now (if u upload a couple pics of the structure and undercarriage it would be helpful). This strain is still 40% sativa so I’d expect a pretty decent stretch when you transition to flower. I wouldn’t go more than another week or so before you flip. Only saying that because I think you’re gonna fill out the rest of that screen with the stretch alone and you’ll be busy tucking and tying for a couple weeks for sure. Based on what I’m dealing with on my scrog right now (almost a pure indica strain), I couldn’t believe how much they stretched and am starting to worry I might run into a light burn issue if the colas get much taller. Wish I had the same kind of indoor space - little jealous too! Good luck, I’m watching this close for sure!👊👍👊
Still lookn good despite the thrips issue dude. It’s possible that the one plant the leaf damage is just localized light burn - just trying to think positively. Either way - doing nicely regardless bud, good luck👍
Best of luck with this grow. I have never grown Royal Queen Seeds but have heard great things. What medium will you be growing in? Keep up the good work!!!
Really nice looking plants you have here! Hopefully they aren't stalling out for to long and rebound nicely in the next week. Looking forward to seeing the final weight to these.
