May 3- I picked up my clones for this season today. Plants appear very healthy and are currently under two 150 Watt HPS until these plants can survive the cold Maine temps which won't be for a few weeks. From here the will go in fabric pots ranging from 30 to 50 gallons and trellised. The soil mixture that I use is 1/3 happy frog 1/3 FFOF and 1/3 roots organic. When I get good weather I need to clean up last year's mess and wash my bags. I couldn't take pictures due to low memory but I will. I'm going to start hardening the plants off a few hours each day. 5/9 Watered everything and started LSTing but I need more room. Weather is going to be great so I think I'll hold off on training others. I pinched a few and I'm going to try to get the plants out side some so they can harden off. Planning on dumping soil and washing bags today. I got most of the cleaning done. Bags are dumped and soaking. Soil needs have been established and I'm planning on either ordering from Amazon or picking up in person the next couple days. Plants never made it outside today as it was rather windy.

5/11 Watered everything. I empty all my old soil, soaked and cleaned all my grow bags and cleaned up the rest of last year's mess. I would begin hardening my plants today but due to my schedule I'll have to start tomorrow. Nights are still in the 30s which is strange for this time of year. Bought 24 cubic feet of soil so I'm ready to role as soon as my plants harden. Still can't take pictures with my camera but I'll get some up here. 5/12 Forgot to take pictures of the ladies sunbathing as it was a beautiful day in the upper 80's. FINALLY, I fixed my phone's camera. Started off slow with temps still in the thirties at night. I checked PH of clones and it ranged from 7.5 to 8.3 or something on the high side. I don't get how this could be off already. The soil is ONLY happy frog right now. They will be transplanted in a week or two to their final resting place in 1/3 ffof 1/3 happy frog and 1/3 707. Haven't given any nutrs yet. I was considering a small dose of calmag but I think what I really need is to lower the ph some. Hardening off has begun. Plants did well in shade for a few hours and it was mid eighties. 5/13 upper eighties and beautiful today. Plants loved being in the shade. Won't be long and they will be in their final homes. I need everything dialed in and the plants hardened. I think the windows facing the direction they are also has contributed to some explosive growth. For some reason pH is still super high. I need to water tomorrow and I'll use pH down. I can also see good results from last week's FIMMIMG and pinching. I don't typically top the traditional way but these clones look like they were all topped at the sixth node before I even received received them. 5/13 The day started off with a flat tire and went to shit from there. Plants were watered with water approx. 6. I Don't know if my meter is off but I am seeing some deficiencies. Plants seem to love the weather. In a matter of days it's gone from freezing night temperatures to upper nineties today. Plants were moved to an outdoor shelter and are adjusting to the natural lighting schedule. A few more days of hardening off and they will be put in their final homes and protected and trained with a vertical trellis. Medium will change from 100% happy frog to 1/3 HF 1/3 FFOR and 1/3 707. I've had good luck with this mixture in the past. It seems like i'm real far behind this year has been pretty crazy. I uploaded multiple pictures but for some reason they didn't save. I'll take soe more tomorrow. 5/14 Hot day with severe thunderstorms. Plants stayed inside under lights. I was able to finish LST the few plants I hadn't due to space constraints. They have MUCH more room so am able to LST much more aggressively. I'm looking forward to moving the plants to their final home. Tomorrow I believe is going to storm but after that the weather looks like it will be nice. I think what I'll do is make sure the plants get used the the reduced light schedule (we are about to hit 15hrs daylight) so the don't reveg and they will be in their final home within a few days. I wanted to use a moth net but I realized my plants get s so tall that I wouldn't be able to adjust it the way I'd like. I'll just stick to my regular IPM. I'm also ordering another scope so I can periodically check for the dreaded bugs.. 5/15 Checked cams and brought plants out for sun even though it's overcast. They are under a roof in case it starts to down pour. A few more more days they'll be in they're final homes. 5/17 Plants were watered with rain water I collected that had a pH of about 6. Plants are still being hardening off. I need to place them in some direct sunlight more. This coming week they will be in their final homes.

This is more a "website specific" ? Fone has no storage and won't allow me to take pictures. Is there a way to upload photos directly to the grow diary app ,without using the memory of phone. Like on FB when you can just take a fresh picture? Just trying to make it till its fixed

Don't know, man... but I do know you can upload a whole ton of photos to a diary so just go try it! Nothing ventured, nothing gained... good luck!

How much pH down can I add to water to safely lower the pH of my soil? It's h frog and I've only watered a couple times. They were rootbound when got in 1g and I transplant to 3g. Ph is like 7.5-.8.5 with a soil gauge. Any other ideas? Thanks folks.

You never want to adjust out of range. As others have said your plants look good so no need to get it in range by flushing with PH water. Continue as normal, But make sure your water is in the range of 6.0-7.0. Never go out of that range even when adjusting.

5/18 I drove posts in attached 7ft garden stakes in a square around my 50 gal pot and a couple grow bags (30, 40). I'm trying to maximize my space and break the labor into smaller pieces. On the fifty gallon pot I just left the vertical trellis from last year. I'll adjust once they are transplanted. Plants are growing like....well a weed. Ph has gone down to a nice 6.4 on the majority of plants. I last watered with rain water. It won't be long now and these girls will be in their final homes. 5/19 Brought all plants out in the cage to soak up some rays. They will be transplanted as soon as I have the opportunity. They must be fairly hardened by now. They are receiving a few hours of direct sunlight a day. They are getting way to big for those 3 gal pots. With the wind I hope they don't tip over. I've taken some precaution. I'm going back over to pound stakes and attach bamboo/poles to them to run the trellis. I've noticed a touch of WPM which in this area is almost impossible to avoid. Potassium bicarbonate is I'm the future. I've got a lot of work to do. 5/20 Watered plants with One gallon of Phed water. I didn't want to drench them since I'm planning on transplanting as soon as the weather allows. I've noticed some small deficiencies on older leaves. I'm hoping it is from ph fluctuation. I've taken more pictures but the wifi in this area is touchy and they don't want to seem to load. The sites that I FIMed have all created three more main branches. I love this technique as it allows me to utilize much more vertical growth (The sky's the limit!). I really needed to add an extension to my grow cage however I'm just running less plants. 5/21 Last couple days have been dreary and rainy. I'm hoping for good weather tomorrow so that the ladies can be in their final home. I believe they are hardened enough for a smooth transition. I've noticed SLIGHT (and I mean REALLY slight) nute burn on a couple leaves but the are only in happy frog and have received no extra nutrients. I've also noticed spots that look like pH fluctuation. That would make sense. My ph had been running high and I have since adjusted my water. My USB scope shit the bed so I need to order another. I grabbed mykos and another trellis net and I'm pretty sure I have everything to "correctly transplant". It's gonna be tight. Again. 5/23 Glad I held off transplanting. Huge storm brought down limbs. Treated plants with potassium bicarbonate for WPM. Timer got switched to "outlet" mode somehow. Don't know when. I flipped it back. I'm going back over later and will update. UODATE: Went back over and attached 6ft bamboo/garden poles to the grade stakes where the bags will sit. I have everything framed out for trellising except the spot where my soil is sitting. I also attached my wind break tarps with better Bungie cords. I'm trying to break the work up a little. Weather is looking good. Plants seem to respond well to sunlight and high wind. I should probably mix my soil and put it in the bags the day before i transplant. If so it may be a few days. Plants are doing great have substantial growth with vibrant green leaves. Of course after working with them all day I pull out the camera to take a few pictures and the phone powered off. Oh well. I'll upload more pictures tomorrow. I watered using rain water I collected that looked like it had a ph of 6. My soil meter reads my plants soil pH anywhere from 6.4-7.5. 5/24 Another beautiful day. Plants got several hours direct sunlight. I have my timer on 17/7 trying to mimic outside as close as possible. I cleaned the cage and mixed the soil and set everything up for transplants tomorrow. I have everything I need. I could do it tonight but I'm tired and they'll keep. Feels good to get some of this stuff done.

5/25 watered with pH about six. I finished trellising everything. One end left tacked so I can slide the girls in. Wife had medical emergency or they would be in the ground right now. Oh well I imagine a day more won't hurt but I'm getting excited. Spot treated WPM on a GDP. I have a feeling I'm going to need to be on point with my IPM this year. 5/26 I finally got the girls in their homes! It's a tight fit. Only seven right now. I'm considering using axium to help with any transplant shock. They were already severely rootbound in 2 gal when I got them and some were VERY rootbound in the 3 gal. They were transplanted using mykos and info a 50 gal pot and grow bags 30 and 20 gals. I may use kangaroos or something tomorrow. A few were rough transplants since they were so big and rootbound. I'm hoping everything works out. I'll try to keep this updated. I also put most of them in backwards lol. I'm sure it doesn't matter but I turned the few I was able too. 5/27 Plants look great. I was a little worried about transplant shock but damn they seem fine. Rained lightly last night. 5/31 I see pH fluctuation on some leaves. Soil wasn't mixed enough on a couple plants. pH jumped to 8 on one I hope the rain lowered it. They survived a couple stops and still doing good. No nutes yet.

6/1 Ph is still high. I'm battling pm already. This is going to be a challenging season. We had frost warnings all last week. I've noticed what looks like WPM and some form of pest on one plant. Another has what appears to be either pH fluctuation or septoria. I'll update later with what I decide to do. I think I'll start small doses of nutes this week. 6/3 I defoliated anything that looked like it even MIGHT HAVE any disease. I then treated with potassium bicarbonate and dawn. This morning my sprayer broke. The one I use to feed so now both sprayers are broken. I fed two gallons of nutes to the garden with a soda bottle as my wand sprayer decided to finally shit the bed. Plants look good but I know this is going to be a hard year. I'm going to LST later and do a treatment of milk and water. I'll update later. Potassium bicarbonate doesn't seem to be having the effect that I want. Ill try the milk on a nice day (it's showers today) and then I'll just buy a product after some research. I took four cuttings from the healthy ones. 2 GDP 1 9lb kush and 1 NYCSK. 6/4 At second thought the k bicarbonate seems to be doing a decent job of keeping on at bay. That and defoliation. I held off on milk spray since it was overcast. I checked my pH and most plants were around 6.4. They were all within range which is good. They seem to be recovering well. I believe the clones I obtained were originally infected. My scope broke the day I met for clones so I kinda faked it. That's my fault. I should've noticed one of them was pretty stripped but I thought they just took a bunch of clones or lollipoped them.We had a real bad year last year though and I could've done a better job cleaning my cage. Next year I'll rotate. I did a little LST today and took a few pictures. It's not what it was last year but the conditions weren't like they were last year. Most people my way haven't started or have six inch seedlings or clones so I'm grateful for what I have. 6/6 Beautiful day. I fimmed a few branches on the blueberry. That plant seems to be doing well. I also defoliated some lower leaves and sprayed k bicarbonate on the small patch of WPM I could see on the GDP. Plants we healthy and to be improving. I think I'm going to up the feeding schedule and add grow big. 6/7 Plants seem to be thriving. Bright green, lots of new growth and the WPM seems under control....for now. I mixed two gallons of nutes and used it to feed all the plants. We are supposed to have some heavy rain showers sometime tomorrow. The weather has been good and I can tell the plants have enjoyed it.

6/8 Stormed last night. Rained most of the day plants look good. They have really acclimated and are taking off with bright green new growth everywhere. Potassium bicarbonate seems to be doing it's trick and the nute schedule seems ok too. I'll update later with pictures 6/9 Raining again today. Poured last night. Branches were flipped over due to hard rain and wind. Oh well maybe the super cropped themselves. Better weather is ahead. I've seen no negative effects from adding the nutes. I'll have to look back and see when I past fed. I took 4 cuttings (2 GDP, 1 9LB Kush, 1 NYCSK) but apparently I accidentally deleted WHEN I took them from this diary. Oh well. They have new growth and are attempting to root in jiffy pellets. 6/11 It stormed the past few days. Branches were limp almost like the sheet rain and high winds super cropped my plants. Once the sun came out they recovered nicely though. Fed two gallons today. Was hesitant due to the amount of rain but it's time to feed. Fimmed some blueberry tops and defoliated what needed it. 6/13 After a couple of sunny days the plants are really growing at a rapid rate. No problem with nutes. pH is in range. Growth is a nice green color. I'm surprised after the beating they took and the sparcity after some defoliation. WPM has been kept at bay for the most part. I pulled off a couple small interior leaves and spot treated around the areas that seemed to have the WPM. This method has seemed to work well. I did notice that I may have a slight mite problem on one of my GDPS. If so it's very early and it would be hard for them to keep numbers up in this harsh environment. Either way I need to continue my IPM for months anyway and was going to use BT but I may look into using spinosid. I can't remember how effective it is at treating mites. I'm not worried anyway. It's happened before with the two spotted mites but even the couldn't really build up numbers in these rough conditions. Anyhow I'll keep this updated. 6/14 Weather has been in the eighties and the plants have loved it. Hard rain and wind haven't damaged the plants yet (knock on wood). I'm planning on doing a IPM spray tonight. If I do I'll update.

6/16 Fed today. Left out the microbe and kangaroots due to time. I'm adding the kelp me kelp you as well but it was a rush this morning. Didn't get spinosid applied last night. I found a spittle bug in it's bubbles and killed the nymph. I noticed random little munch's so that makes me think the spinosid is a good idea. Plants seem very happy. 6/17 Transplanted the rooted cuttings of 9lb kush and NYC Skunk Ape into a gallon of happy frog. From there they'll go in either a five gallon bucket, 10 gallon bag or right in the bag. Considering how late it is I think the two ten gallon grow bags would be perfect. The two Black Widow/GSC seeds kinda dried out but got transplanted to two red solo cups of happy frog. It will be interesting to see which strains do well in this harsh climate. Didn't get the spinosid sprayed and I'm unsure of I will tonight. Looks like rain. I'd rather apply when sky is clear. I love being able to do this. Every morning I start my day off right. Great boost to mental health! Internet is fucking up so I'm having difficulty loading pictures. Rrrrr 6/20 Took a bunch of pictures but forgot to add them and my internet connection is to slow to upload right now. I haven't had to water this crop only a couple times this year. Temperature shot down to 45 last night. I noticed some more WPM on the interior of some of the GDPs. Also leaf hopper damage and random munches from other bugs. I did some interior defoliation and spot treated with k bicarb and dawn. I'll attempt to upload pictures again. Black widow/GSC has germinated. 6/21 Watered the girls with the hose. Was super pressed for time so I couldn't pH the water. The hose looks like it's about 6.5 but I know it's a little more alkaline. Oh well it's what I've always used. I should've fed but again...crisis. girls look wonderful. I took a bunch of great photos but I used the app to take them and the didn't upload. On the plus side I got some older ones up. I haven't spent nearly the amount of time I usually do on my garden. However I will say the k bicarb has been stellar. Even using it as spot treatment. 6/22 FED 3 gallons today. Kept the same schedule but added a 1/4 tsp microbe brew and a 1/4 tsp kangaroots. Didn't have the kelp with me so I left it out. PM seems to be controlled pretty well. A few interior leaves were defoliated but overall things look great. Especially considering the 35-40 degree temperature swing we've been seeing. I don't really see any insect damage. I'll wait until the temps settle before I do a foliar spray.

6/25 Watered today. Spot treated k bicarb. Got the diary messed up. I'll fix later. 6/26 It's been super hot. Did a thorough watering. Plan to feed tomorrow. Maybe spinosid or bt tonight. 6/27 Fed three gallons to the garden. (I think it was today.) If not it was the day after. (NOTE TO SELF. This is why you update the diary AS SOON AS YOU FINISH SO THINGS DINT GET MESSED UP) 6/28 Rained hard last night. Fungal infections are prevelant this year. At least it's infecting the brown tail moth population like it never has before. We've experienced 40 degree temperature differentials. It's been very hot and humid lately (90) and it rained yesterday. My blueberry is drooping due to what I think is my overwatering and the rain. The tub doesn't dry out like the bags. I'm sure it will come right back when it dries out. Super sunny and hot today. I've seen more holes and tears in leaves. Since I still have the PM and MAYBE a little downy mildew on my blueberry I'm going to get a fungicide to apply tommorrow. Something like safer that will also kill insects. I want to wait though. Not apply the day I fed. Plants are healthy and about as tall as me now. 6/29 The overwatered blueberry came out of it was standing tall this morning. Still some slight fungal problems and a few chunks out of leaves. I picked up 3 in 1 organicide to add to my IPM. That way it will hopefully take care of any issues I may be missing. The weather has been very hot and the ladies seem to love it. Did some slight defoliation today. Plan to apply organicide tonight depending on weather. 6/30 It rained last night. Humidity is really high. Did some SLIGHT defoliation on the interior of some plants. I applied the organicide bee safe 3 in 1. Insecticide/miticide/fungacide. I was planning on applying spinosid but considering I don't have an infestation and any problems I DO have are more fungal in nature (i.e. WPM) so I wanted the least invasive "catch all" I could get. If the organicide doesn't work I'll move on to something stronger. It's good to mix up your IPM anyway. The girls seem very happy despite the bipolar weather. I read organicide had a horrible odor and not to use it. I used it last year with no problems. I didn't notice a smell while applying but after cleaning my sprayer I could smell a slight fishy odor. I guess what I'm saying is although it says it can be used in flower I certainly wouldn't risk it. UPDATE: I WENT BACK OVER AROUND NOON TO CHECK THE GARDEN. PLANTS LOOK GREAT. THE ORGANICIDE LEAVES BEHIND A SLIGHT RESIDUE BUT THAT'S OK. I ALSO NOTICED A "SLIGHT" FISHY ODOR WHEN I GOT CLOSE AND SMELLED THE LEAVES. THAT MAKES ME THINK I WONT HE USING THIS DURING FLOWRR. HOPEFULLY THIS WILL BE A GOOD ADDITION TO MY IPM AND WILL TAKE CARE OF MY FUNGAL PROBLEMS WHILE CLEANING UP RANDOM BUGS. 7/1 We are into July! I havent been watering much and it's been super hot but my plants are thriving. I watered today. I didn't go quite so deep as last time as it caused my blueberry to be limp for a day. Haven't checked the forecast but things seem to be going well. Safer seems to work good. It leaves a residue on leaves and I DID notice a fishy odor this morning when doing some slight interior defoliation. I need to devote some time into pruning. Most plants are fine but a few (especially 9lb kush) need a few shoots removed to increase airflow.

7/2 Last week it was extremely hot (80's-90's) with cold nights. We had a severe thunderstorm last night and it's raining like crazy today. I didn't spend time in the garden as it was pouring. However I defoliated yesterday briefly. I had maybe a half dozen leaves yellow and die a couple days after the organicide application. They were mostly the largest oldest fan leaves most infected with pm. A couple smaller interior leaves yellowed and died as well but they were the leaves most infected. I assume that's normal. As I defoliated I noticed my first aphid of the season. I saw a few dead ones the organicide killed and a couple that were alive. Aphids aren't a big deal. They'll be evicted soon enough. I haven't seen one spot of pm though since the application. Maybe a little on a dead leaf but it seems to be working good. Didn't take pictures today but needed one to update the diary. Trying to upload videos but they take forever. 7/3 Ridiculously hot all last week. Extremely hot yesterday then a severe thunderstorm but it cleared to 90 degrees with 90%rh. This environment is a fungal nirvana. Still a slight smell from the organicide. I'm glad I used it though. I threw away some more leaves but this is the time that starts happening anyway. Before the stretch. With the ideal conditions I saw WPM rear it's head again. Only this time the organicide seemed to still have a residue. The PM only infected the super old biggest fan leaves and a few tiny tiny leaves on the very interior of the plant. I didn't know I had aphids but I've found a few dead on the underside of leaves I defoliated. So it seems to be working. My plants are growing towards the sun (partially due to my tarps which I need to be legal) which make airflow harder to maintain. My dad gave away my pallets this year. I had planned to put bags and supports on pallets with some sort of wheel so I could spin them. Oh well I'll do that next year in my new location. I have also found moth holes in couple leaves so BT it will still be needed. If videos didn't take so long to upload I would have a bunch. Happy growing. 7/5 Watered lightly (as it had been 90's) before feeding three gallons to the garden. Noticed some telltale leafhopper signs on a 9lb kush. The organicide seems to be doing a decent job of keeping PM at bay. The blueberry is now the worst it seems. I'm planning on another application before I try anything heavier. The fishy smell is now totally gone. Plants seem healthy and are a nice dark green. I have had some problems that have effected my ability to fully care for my girls. I have some defoliation I need to do. I also see moths sometimes in the morning plus the pm and the random munch. I guess that's to be expected outside but I need to get on top of this shit. I also have more LST I could be doing. 7/6 Rained all night and still off and on. Can't see any pm but I've found a few spots on the blueberry that could be septoria. I'm going to hit them either tonight or tomorrow with the organicide and if it doesn't work I may try a sulfer based fungacide. Took a few pictures. I need to defoliate as well. 7/7 Uploaded some duplicate pics accidentally. If I could've created the perfect environment for fungal infections I don't think I could've done better than yesterday. Hence the organicide. I was surprised it wasn't pronounced and only a little here and there. Also saw leaf hopper and pillar damage so hopefully this will straighten that out. Blueberry seems weak in it's stalk. I'm not sure if the wind is blowing it against that hard metal circle around it. It may have septoria. If it does I'll have to switch to something different or junk the plant. 7/8 This sucks. I can see signs of leaf septoria on the GDPs. This is definitely not a strain for the Maine climate. It's not resilient enough against diseases. This year has been particularly bad with 40 degree temp swings and rain then bright hot sun. I couldn't engineer better conditions. I appears senescence starts at the same time looking back over the past four years. However maybe that's just the life cycle of the earwigs. Oh yeah. I raked the inside of the grow bag with my hand and AT LEAST a half dozen earwigs came out RIGHT FROM THE SOIL IN THE BAG. I dealt with these prehistoric bastards last year and lost half my harvest. They eat other insects but the spread disease like crazy and they DO eat your plant while leaving behind the worst bacteria and plant disease. I have research to do. Like I said. This sucks. I'm changing locations next year but I need some help dealing with the septoria and the earwigs or I'll be fucked again. I defoliated anything that looked suspect. Still need to improve airflow.

How do you deal with ear wigs? They are in the grow bag itself. Raked fingers through top and 6 popped out. They already spreading diseases. Dealt with them before but not very well. Someone with experience please help. Also any tips for treating septoria would be appreciated

Bugs definitely spread disease. Leaf hoppers specifically caring many diseases. This grow is destroyed because of fusarium oxysporum. I don't want people getting misinformation.

7/9 I armed up for my battle with earwigs. I bought and applied diatomaceous earth and added sluggo plus pellets to the medium and around the bags and cage. Then I covered the stems on petroleum jelly. I raked my hand in the same bag as yesterday and found a bunch of earwigs. This time I was prepared. I killed them with a 50/50 solution of 70% rubbing alcohol. I found a few more that I killed as well and cleaned as best I couod. Weed Wacker wouldn't work. This was after I watered. The blueberry was droopy af. It stood right back up after I watered though. It doesn't look to bad. I defoliated anything too bad. If I see ANYMORE signs of septoria I'm isolating that plant (probably should anyway) and getting a systemic to deal with septoria. I got the wrong organicide I guess. I got bee safe instead of plant doctor. Regalia is what I'd like to get but it's like $90. Anyone have any good advice dealing with pm and or septoria? I know I should defoliate a little more. 7/10 Plants looked healthy and showed no negative effects from the previous application. I have some defoliation to do and I need to go over at night to check out the earwig population. Found a moth larvae and killed it. With all these other problems and medical issues it's hard to get everything done. I believe I watered today. THIS IS WHY YOU AT LEAST WROTE THAT SHIT DOWN EVEN IF YOU FINISH. 7/11 I had a few teeth pulled this morning after a horrible appointment with my doctor. I believe I watered before I reapplied some sluggo plus and diatomaceous earth. I inspected around my structure directly after the extractions while still numb. I found and killed literally 100's of earwigs! At first I was using an alcohol spray. They are in the structure itself!!!! Where the fence attaches to the wood and a bunch of other places. I used what I had filled it again, stomped them left and right then I found a can or roach ant killer. I CAREFULLY sprayed bottom parts of the structure and they would run out and get sprayed. Damn that felt good. Especially since I've noticed some slight interior damage on a couple plants that seem consistent with earwigs. Small leaves turning yellow after munched. New growth being attacked. Ragged holes in leaves. I wanted to go back tonight but I'm hurting. Noticed some dieing leaves on my blueberry. I'm wondering if it's septoria. I'll update tomorrow. 7/12 WATERED THEN FED 3 GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. Large thunderstorm and hail possible tonight Still in pain but I defoliated all the little dead new growth that the earwigs are eating and anything blocking nodes or that looked infected. Earwigs eat the new shoots that grow the buds. People think they are harmless but they are far from it. Just wait till you have an infestation and they chew off all your budsites lol. You'll have a ten foot plant with MAYBE a six inch cola (if the left ya any) that will probably be diseased. I'd rather deal with mites. I can't believe someone said bugs don't spread plant diseases. Well....they do. I've learned more about earwigs the past few years than I would've ever cared to know. I've seen aphids ONCE this year and they were dead from the organicide spray. I did find a few earwigs on the medium dying so something must be working. I'd spray it with alcohol and it would just spasm but not try to get away. I imagine it's either the DE or the Sluggo plus. After the earwigs eat the shoots the small leaves turn yellow and die. Looking at the plants the look awesome. When you get closer though I can show you branches with no budsites and some other things. I think I'm dealing with it right though. This year pretty much everything is straight up Indica (80/20 or so). Real bushy plants. I'm thinking about whether or not to spend money on regalia or just get plant doctor. 7/13 I had a botanist that teaches marijuana horticulture look at my videos and some leaf samples. No septoria so far! I need to cut some foliage by the forest edge and dispose of it and clean the grow area and be more sanitary. A new pair of gloves each plant or wash my hands after I defoliate. I'm going to spray the shit out of the surrounding area and remove the back tarp like many have suggested. It's a calculated risk but I think it's worth it. I think p jelly is working but some earwigs are dropping on them or flying short distance from plants because I've seen damage. I was going to get the plant doctor but I don't need it if I don't have the septoria. I need to go dig at each corner of my cage and get as many earwigs as I can and dispose of them. I'll kill the ones that rise with alcohol/water or raid. 7/14 I took the back tarp down and put a barrier of DE around the cage and each bag/pot. Added a touch more around the base. I'm finding earwigs dying and I'm really thinking the population is shrinking. I shoveled around the structure and didn't find any. I need my new weed Wacker to show up so I can clean shit up. The other one broke. I've been much more sanitary and am using different gloves each plant before I just started washing my hands in between plants. I'm planning on going back and AT LEAST try using the push weed Wacker to clean stuff up and spray the shit out the treeline and around the cage. It rained hard last night and it's supposed to rain again. If I notice to much more damage I'll do an application of spinosid. 7/15 Rained and stoked hard all night. I weedwacked the treeline back this morning to cut down on vegetation that's infected or could be. I weedwacked around the cage and hunted earwigs. I defoliated what needed it and I can see damage from the earwigs. If you watch the video I made for a friend you can see. I also I sprayed a gallon of baking soda/dawn/veg oil on the plants by the treeline and all around the cage. Used a different bag each plant and washed my hands before defoliating. Things seem to be going good. Plants are stretching. They are in what I like to call the 'asparagus' stage where they REALLY stretch and drop leaves. I'll keep this updated.

7/16 Took pictures and did a bunch of shit this morning. Came back and defoliated everything that needed it. SOME PM but not that much. At least I'm doing better with that. I killed a couple earwigs but I'm seeing lots that are dying. I added more petroleum jelly to the stalks and de in the medium and around the base. Left more sluggo plus pellets and sprayed the shit around everything but the garden with the baking soda mix. I'm tired and can't figure out if I already put this entry under last week. I'll fix it later. 9/17 Watered. Noticed some yellowing leaves at the bottom of a couple plants and some earwig damage. I think I'm decreasing the population but don't know if that's enough 7/18 FED three gallons to the garden. Upped grow big to 1.5 tsp this time. Getting the stretch. Thinking of switching to bloom soon. Plants looked amazing but of course phone was dead. I'll go back over but I have a busy day. Still some PM and earwig damage. I'll update when I have more time. 7/19 We got like three inches of rain. No damage from the storm. I think I'm getting a handle on the earwigs. Took a bunch of pictures and wrote a ton of shit but it wouldn't upload or save. Found a little moth larvae and a spot where it damaged a couple leaves. Earwigs will eat them up. I think I just need the population down. WPM is still present but it's over 90 with like 90rh so i can't spray. 7/20 Left for vacation without watering the plants. They had just got pounded with a thunder storm and they didn't need the water. It's been like 90 though with incredibly high humidity. I had pictures taken today (7/21) and the girls seem fine despite the heat so I'll hold off on having my "sitter" water. I think the diatomaceous earth has greatly improved the water retention. I don't want anyone fucking things up. I'll just wait until tomorrow when I go home and feed them myself. Plants are dropping lower leaves really stretching. I'm wondering when I should switch to flower nutes. I'm not going to post the pictures taken today as they are on messenger and I'm not sure I can get them on here. It was all outside my cage anyway. I'm sure they will be fine until the morning. 7/22 FED THREE GALLONS to the garden and defoliated a ton of dying leaves. Earwigs are still around number seems to be down though. Plants we're fine after vacation.

7/23 I already wrote a bunch of shit but my phone wacked out and deleted everything I had written and wouldn't work. I had to water deeply as it's been super hot. I'll write everything thing below. 7/24 I deeply watered everything again. The past few days have been like 90 plus degrees. I think I saw mld on the soil of my plants. Scary. Just fuzzy looking shit on a couple. I did water during the day when I got back from vacation as they were drooping and needed a feed. I'm wondering if it's diatomaceous earth since I've never used it. I thought I had a handle on earwigs but they seem to be inflicting more damage and shred some leaves or chew new bud sites. WPM is still there but I've been hesitant to treat since it's been so fucking hot. Today I saw too leaves tacoed. I'll definitely up the kelp the next feed. Senecios is definitely happening. It looks like a deficiency sometimes but the have grown a tremendous amount in height. I showed a commercial grower and he seconded my opinion. I have a lot of work to do. I have kinda forget the two little clones I took. They are still in 1 gallon pots all rootbound. Thy were extras anyway. That skunk ape plant is a beast and super resilient. I think that's a strain I'll stick with. Super mild and pest resistant. I have videos to add but internet is slow and I need to put the phone down so it can charge. I really need to think about when to switch to bloom nutes. I might need open sesame but it's the only one I don't have and I don't think it will make it or break it if I don't use it 7/25 I've been neglecting my garden the past few mornings due to some family medical problems. I didn't water this morning. I read about the mold on the soil (two bags same strain far from each other) and garden pages say that it's a (good) mold and "the soil is banging!" as in very good soil. And it's just eating the decomposing material. I'll research more but it said something on a cannabis forum to scoop it off the top and treat with vinegar solution. Thing is those are like the best plants lol. It's weird. Maine weather is bi-polar. I also forgot about a couple clones I had taken. They were just extras but still. I might transplant them even though they are still in the 1 gallon. 7/26 I didn't water today and my phone completely shut the bid so no photos or videos either. Next feed I'm switching to bloom. I defoliated what needed it. Eating population seems down but I've still got some pm. I wasn't planning on spraying until Temps are down. Mayve tonight. Once I figure this phone out and point some time at the garden I'll update. I spent quite a while defoliating today. Plants are almost through the stretch. They've been 7/27 fed 3 gallons. Upped grow big to 2tsp per gallon and defoliated what needed it. My blueberry was drooped right over and seems to be "falling" and the roots seemed to he breaking away from the plant due to somevof the strong storms. Itscrhe only plant not supported. I added a stake and tied it back up. Then I topped off the soil with happy frog and mounded it up around the trunk and watered around it. 7/28 I'm still noticing earwig damage. Wr found one in the house. I put out more of those spinosid pelleys and reapplied diatomaceous earth as well as re-applyong petroleum jelly on bottom of plant stalk and branch intersections. PM is still visible. I'm planning to spray either tonight or tomorrow. It will probably be with the organocide. The potassium bicarbonate works good too. I wish either of those worked in earwigs. When the internet is faster I'll upload a video showing the interior of the plant. 7/29 We had brief but torrential rains last night. I defoliated a bucket full of used up leaves. Either that or deficiency that I haven't nailed down. I believe it's senescence since it happens the same time of year according to past journals. However it concerns me that it could possible be related to a time (in (nature) which the earwigs become larger and more aggressive. I don't know. Im guessing. They like to eat the shoots that grow the buds. I need to check soil ph. Some small leaves turn yellow and die. Plants look great and are really transitioning and "stretching" like crazy. I will update further later.

7/30 I defoliated another 3 gallon bucket of dead leaves. I really hope this is senescence. It appears to be. However some little leaves on the bottom interior seem to be turning yellow and falling off. Plants look healthy. I always worry when this happens. I labeled this week as flower as I can see the "asparagus stalks" stretching that will eventually become colas. Pistols are evident. I'm wondering if my ph is off. I can't find my meter. That's how it always goes. Only thing I can't find is the thing I need. I'll update once I put some work in. I think the girls are hungry. I will feed tomorrow. Tonight looks cool enough to spray. Now to decide WHAT to spray. 7/31 FED 3 GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. I didn't water before or after I fed. I was on a time constraints and plants looked hungry. I hope I'm not putting to many salt based nutes to the soil to cause lock out. Leaves on my GDPs seem to be dropping. They've grown WAY taller though. I'll have to look at a deficiency chart but it just looks like they are bleached out. I hope the WPM didn't stop them from performing photosynthesis. It can't stay this hot forever though and I'll be applying either organocide or potassium bicarbonate to treat the WPM. It's not a bad case anyway. I'm not losing AS many leaves but lots have dropped or turned yellow. Leaves at the very top of the GDP have tacoed. Hopefully the kelp me kelp you helps. I put down more slug bait pellets to hopfully kill these bastards. Can't find my ph meter. I'm probably going to have to do a slurry test if i cant find it. One cool thing is that NYC Skunk Ape plant is ridiculously resilient. Even with plants around that have pm and other stuff this bush stands strong unaffected by disease or pest. 8/1 Didn't water. Leaves on my GDP's are turning yellow and the very top leaves are tacoed. I'm defoliating what I can. Ph must be off or something. Not sure. I'll update later 8/2 I took a few one minute videos to shoe friends the yellowing leaves. He thinks lockout as well. It's strange. Only the GDPs are showing these signs of extremely yellowing bleaching leaves. I did feed 3 gallons without watering due to a medical emergency. Maybe that fucked up the ph at the root zone. The tops of some of the GDPs have burnt 🌮 leaves. Friend said that's a sign of lockout. This morning the damage was the most evident as I didn't defoliate the prior day. I see all plants transitioning to flower though. The blueberry that was sideways and needed to be supported is doing awesome. The GDPs rte the only plants that seem to be struggling. I was worried about that when getting my clones. Oh well we will see how things work out. I either need another ph meter or a way to test soil ph. UPDATE: I bought another soil ph meter. The GDP in the middle had readings anywhere from 7.3 to 8.5. The other GDPs were low 7's. Same with other plants I got a read on. My well water is a tad alkaline. Not much. Usually adding nutes brings it down to perfect. I say this every year but I need to stop using salt based nutrients. I filled a 5 gallon bucket and phed the water before using the majority to 'kinda' flush the medium of the large GDP. I did the same to the other GDPs. Only time will tell if this was the correct move. Still have problems with earwigs. I added more sluggo plus pellets. I may go over after dark and see what I can find. 8/3 Massive thunder storm last night. Measured the ph and the three best plants (2 9lb kush, 1 NYC Skunk ape) had ph of 6.6 and 6.7. I couldn't read the skunk ape but it's the healthiest looking. The GDPs are ALL high 7's with the back of one bag registering at 8.5 at the highest!! This is after all that rain too. I'm not sure what I'm going to do. I'll update later. I see prior earwig damage on the small interior thin Larry stuff. I may need to lollipop. This is a challenging year. 8/4 The GDPs look pretty rough and are transitioning to flower. I'm wondering if I should just strip the damage from earwigs (almost like lillipoping) and cut the small interior larfy stuff that's been damaged. I did some slight defokiating but the gdps have dropped a lot of leaves. Transplanted that nycsa clone that was in a 1 gal FOREVER into a 10 gal smart pot. I don't expect much but better than just letting it die like I had been. The 9lb kush clone will get thrown in either another 10gal bag or right I. My pile of old soil. I have a lot of work to do. I have some plants that are doing amazing. I have a couple in rough shape. No more clones for me. No more foxfire nutes either. I always run into lockout at least once and I don't feed heavy. I'll update as I progress. Today is another day in the upper 90's with rh about the same. 8/5 I guess we got some rain last night. I brought the ph on all the plants down. Highest readingcwas 7.4 which is better than 8.5. That one big GDP is in some rough shape. Earwigs have stripped some internal shoots to absolutely nothing but a stick. I thought I was controlling the population pretty well but I guess not. I will go back over add more sluggo plus, de and petroleum jelly and possibly do a spinosid spray. Plants are really transitioning to flower. If imvgoungvto away now is the time. PM is there but it's really not that bad.

8/5 My previously gorgeous 7ft GDP was sick as fuck. LAST FED 8/6 DIDN'T USE TIGER BLOOM AS IT WAS CHUNKY AND OUTDATED. 8/6 Lost my first plant in four years. Huge grand daddy purple (7FT super bushy) seemed to have root rot or was rootbound. Some of it smelled musty and was brown but I think the stalk got detached from the main rootball. Spider webbed roots all over the bottom of the pot so it looked root bound too but the dirt was loose. I took some pictures but I'm home so it's taking forever to upload. I took a quick video too. I have much more space now so maybe it will end up helping in the long run flowering. At least with airflow. That one plant was a lot of my canopy. Fucking sucks to have to pull out your biggest plant. I needed to see if earwigs were in the soil though. I've been getting insect damage. Didnt find any. Just like last year they lollipop the fucking branches and eat the newly developing shoots and flowers. Also another hundred degree day with super humidity. My other girls seem to be doing well though despite the harsh environment. Last I checked soil ph is back in range. 8/8 Raining today. Plants were super dry and I didn't have time before my wife's doctor's appointment so i wayered with the hoyse lightly. Its only a tad alkaline. I wonder if i can ph a bunch of water andcstore it in buckets or barrels? Ill have to research. WPM doesn't seem as bad but I'm sure it will rear it's ugly head again soon enough. I'll need to do a treatment soon. My blueberry plant in the tote seems like the stalk is breaking away from the root ball like it did on that huge GDP. the plant looks healthy though. Other than some earwig damage on lower branches that will probably be clipped. Flower has started. I tied it to a stake to put it upright but I'm worried about the winds without my tarp. People talked me into taking my back tarp down and I think that's what finally killed the plant. Roots weren't attached and the soil wasn't compact despite the spiderwebbed roots all on the bottom of the plant. The others are doing pretty good considering the circumstances. 8/10 Rained two days in a row. Took a bunch of pictures but they wouldn't upload. Didnt swfoliate today. Plants are actually looking pretty good despite the horrible season we've had. In the 60's today. Thirty degree temperature swing and that's just during the day. Will update more later. Oh and I spoke with a local commercial grower who grows both indoor and out commercially and owns a dispensary. Farm to table. Someone u respect greatly take a look at the pictures/video I have and with our previous conversations and what he saw he said "If you want my honest opinion you did nothing wrong. You have the same strain in smaller containers doing fine so it's not genetics. The plant was rootbound when you got it and you could've even put it in a 100gal and the sane thing would've happened. It was just shooting so many roots our instead of circling because it had been rootbound and was so large. It wouldve happened with that plant regardless. I would chalk this up to nature. You haven't lost plant in four years right?" I nod. "Any seasoned or commercial grower would honestly look at you and be like one plant in four years and your bitching? Cone on man." We went over a bunch if stuff I couldn't upload here and the actual site. It was good to hear this compliment from a commercial grower. I mean he's on another level. He does three outdoor harvests a year here with light dep and has an indoor grow facility and dispensary as well. I'm really lucky to have these types of resources. If you see this shout out to you man! 8/11 Rained last night. Overcast today. Plants liked the rain. Other than some of the leaves that look like they might have septoria the plants seem to be doing good. Especially with the humidity and the varying temperature. With the loss of my biggest plant I think I have room to move some plants. I always plant t I close to the fence. I could move the GDP in front back and move the blueberry in the tote and add a vertical trellis for support. On a positive note I'll have more room to work and I'll have better air flow. As soon as I have a night without rain or a day without showers I'll do another treatment of organocide. I'm also going to start beastie bloom soon. I don't have open sesame and i dont want to buy it. Its the only one i dont have. Still random damage here and there. I've seen several Japanese beetles too. I'm glad I found them. It was on the top of a plant. If it did its thing it would've looked like cigarette burned wall the way through a bud.

Week begins 8/12 LAST FEED 2 gallons 8/12 AFTER A RAINING NIGHT. 8/13 I've found what appears to be septoria on a couple plants. Looks like the weather will be OK tonight so I can apply organocide or something similar before dark. I've seen random pillar damage so this will be a two-for. I also should move the middle plant back and utilize my space more. Ph seems on point around 7.3. Higher in some places of the soil. I've noticed what looks like root issues on my blueberry. Winds were horrible yesterday and this plant doesnt hace a vertical trellis for support. Stem was pretty wobbly for a while but the plant seems to be growing fine. Either that or a jpn beetle munched the top of a bud. That's probably what happened. It was in the low 50's this morning. That's a 40 degree temperature swing in just a few days. This grow season has been the most challenging I've faced. Of course it had to happen when personal, family, and health concerns rear their head. Oh well. I can only do my best. 8/14 Went over at 5am to apply organocide to treat WPM or septoria as well as insecticide for pillars. I got there and one of my healthiest plants had been turning a little lime green now it was drooped over just like the larger GDP. This one is a 9lb kush though and they were doing good. Now it looks like it's dead over night. Maybe it's that liquid kool bloom. The soil seemed dry so I watered the plants. It MIGHT have picked ok a little. I'll have to check tonight. If not something is going on at night or in the rootzone and I really don't know what the fuck is going on. I will post updates and check later tonight. Damn. This has been a real challenging year. 8/15 That plant might be overwatered or not be draining correctly. At least I was able to get underneath it and the ground was dry. It was also hard packed dirt so elevating the bag may help. I'm going to wait a few days and see if things improve. This really sucks. I'm getting that defeated feeling. I need to get out of it though as I'm starting to see flower begin. The blueberry is probably the farthest along. I need to remember to take pictures of the newly developing flowers. Granted I've had numerous medical and other issues that have taken me off my game but losing two plants in one year is pretty shitty. I was able to fix things with COVID last year or the year before so I hope I can at least save this 9lb kush plant. If I lose this plant too it will be a substantial amount of cannabis lost. I need to rearrange my cage as well to make use of the extra space. Maybe I could've overwatered that plant that had been in the rain for a long time. I need to get my water routine down pat instead of doing the "lift the pot" method I have been doing. I went to several different commercial growers and got a bunch of crazy answers. Only time will tell. Last night I finished the organocide application on all the other plants except for the two babies and the drooped 9lb kush. Don't want to stress it further. I'll see how it goes. 8/16 Despite the soil drying out the newest disaster (my 9lb kush) is much worse with chlorosis killing leaves. Stalks and branches seem good. Soil smells musty and a little wetter than the rest. It was roofed to the ground slightly. NO water underneath. I stuck my hand in the bag from a bunch of angles. It's like the same thing that happened with the other one. I added to my surveillance. I also smell bleech and I hace an idea this might not be my doing at all. I can't be detailed but I'll find out one way or another. UPDATE. Went back over after the dentist and plants were dry as a fucking bone and droopy. I mixed up five gallons of phed water and watered everything. Even the 9lb kush that is pretty much dead. The soil was dry though. Everyone is saying overwater but I really doubt that. We had some massive rainstorms bur still. I need to review a game cam I have because unfortunately my cams went on the frits for a couple days (and the dogs went wild during that time around midnight) couple nights in a row. I fucking smell bleech. I'm a good dude and don't really have any enemies but we'll see what the game cam pulls up. 8/17 Of course we are getting a shit ton of rain. I watered yestetday because everything was dry as a bone I watched yesterday as my blueberry was almost horizontal due to the wind. I added several supports to every branch and a few more up the main stalk. That may be what has been happening. The wind blowing so hard it separates the stalk from the roots. My problems started after I took my windbreaker tarp down. I put it back up for this storm. Or maybe it's just root rot. I dont fucking know. I cut all the dead stuff off the 9lb kush thats pretty mucb dead. Its holding on though. I probably shouldnt have watered that but it seemed bone dry. Maybe further down was wet. I dont know. Extra cams are up. I didn't smell that chemical bleachy smell today so it's probably in my head. I have better peace of mind with the night cams up though.and the dogs though. I've had a visitor this year but he left very quickly. 8/18 We got a shit ton of rain last night. No damage though. I spent what time I had in the garden working on the 9lb kush that looked like it was dieing. I'm not giving up on this one so easy. It seems to want to hold on. Despite the severely overwatered medium (due to this storm) I cam see new growth that looks healthy. The branches also seem stronger. I'm cautiously optimistic. The other one straight up died. So I might be able to salvage this. I'll go over later today and check on it. I debated putting it inside for the storm bur I figured I'd let the rain leech out anything in the medium in case it's locked out or something. At least I've got a couple real healthy ones this year. That NYCSA is amazing. That's a strain I'll probably grow again. Resilient as all all. Vigorous and doesn't seem impacted by things like WPM or other fungal ok infections or diseases like some other strains. I got a great recommendation from my buddy to use pots all the same size. It makes things easier watering. I just used what I had this year. I had bigger pots so I wanted to fill them. That tarp being up I think greatly helped with the wind. It's down now so things cam dry out. Still raining bit not yard and no wind. I think that may have played a large role in killing the 7ft GDP. Wind ripping the stalk away from the roots. Or it could've been a million other things. I'll never know. I do know that I have a better mindset, a great set of resources and I'm learning something new every year. If I can br8ng this plant back to life I'm going to be very proud of myself.....and her. Oh and I'm going to buy new tiger bloom. I'll start beasty bloom (hesitant as it has caused lockout in the past) as it goes better with my other nutes than the liquid kool bloom. Plus I started getting portables around tge time I used the liquid kool bloom. That being said, after two weeks I can see buds where there weren't before so I don't know. Next year I'm using seeds and I'm doing things different. I'm STRONGLY considering rapacaps idea about adding a removable roof for flower. The more I think about it tge better it sounds. That and putting wheels on pallets (buddy suggestion) and I could attach my supports directly to the pallet. I've got a lot of work to do that's for sure. Plants look healthy but I needvto him them again with organocide to fight any fungal stuff or pillars that might be hiding.

Can someone please look over this week and last week of my diary? I've lost two massive plants in the span of a couple days time. One may have been rootbound (in 50 gals) and this is in a 20gallon. Roots did smell a little musty. Should I try a peroxide flush? Any other ideas?

Damn... I don't know what to say except that I'm growing here in Maine myself and it HAS been a bitch of a season! And I chose THIS year to do my first-ever outdoor grow... It sure sounds to me like root rot - but that wouldn't make any sense if the ground underneath them was dry! I know you want to learn - and maybe someone else will be able to point you in a logical direction - but you've asked the commercial grower and I'll echo what he said: shit happens... and 1 (now 2) plants in 4 years... you shouldn't be ashamed!! The humidity has been grotesque, the heat, the bugs, the fungus, the wind, the everything... I'd take this opportunity to, as you said, to spread your grow out a little bit to get better air flow through the rest of your grow. One thing popped into my head as I was reading what the commercial grower said to you... I've just recently read a rather crazy article about how we're planting trees (bear with me) the wrong way... that we encourage them to become rootbound... that we should instead of digging a nice round hole, dig a square hole (sounds daffy to me) and KEEP THE BOTTOM OF THE HOLE SLANTED, planting the tree at the top of the little hill so the roots are encouraged to grow DOWN, not AROUND... So all of that to say, if these were clones, maybe they DID get rootbound in their circular pots and needed more encouragement to grow DOWN... like bottom watering at the beginning? Just a thought.... (and most of that thought was a little weird!)... Good luck, man... I think we here in Maine, like in so many other parts of the world, are going to have to contend with conditions we've never had to contend with before... but onward and upward... Good luck.....

8/19 Rained again last night. No damage but medium is drenched. The 9lb kush I've been struggling with seems to be improving. I spent a lot of time on her yesterday and at least an hour this morning defoliating and pruning her. New growth and flowers look promising. I'm cautiously optimistic. I defoliated what needed it. I needcto qpplyvorganocide again. I can see random signs of septoria leaf spot. I really have been off my fame lately. I'm back on it now. This week the garden will be rearranged and I'll pull that big GDP back and better support the blueberry for flower. That NYCSA is a beast. It's resilient as all hell and just continues getting bigger and fuller. Despite pr9blems in the garden this girl seems absolutely fine. At least I don't have that defeated feeling anymore. I've got flowers on a few different plants. I'll try to get a couple pictures. I may take rapacaps advice and add a cheap plastic roof for later flower. I'm not sure if the explosive flower growth is due to the liquid kool bloom but I think I'm going to switch back to tiger bloom as it works better with the other nutes. I'll jeep this updated but I've got work to do. 8/20 Well it Rained again last night. This is getting discouraging. Now my other 9lb kush has the bottom branch all droopy like there's a borer or something. Realistically with the temp swings and the weather I think it's a firm of root rot or pythiym damage which isn't good. I posted pictures of the stalks and would be grateful if anyone has any advice. I'm go8ng back down to look again for a borer hole but i didn't see one. What it looks like to me is that the petroleum jelly I put on the stalks (to battle ear wigs) seems to keep them moist or something inviting mold or fungus. I'm kind of at a loss. I don't really know where to go from here. I don't know if I should just replant the severely damaged plant away from the rest of the grow, bag it and get rid of it or leave it be and hope for the best. I certainly don't want anything spreading. I'm getting tigerbloom today as my plants still need to eat and I'm nervous about the liquid kool bloom. It's probably fine but still. I'll update after I put in more work and research more today. Any advice helps. UPDATE: No borer holes. The stalk looks fucking horrible. It's supposed to rain today. I'm going to give it one more day then I'll amputate that branch and get rid of the other plant if I don't see an improvement. Perhaps I'll plant it in the ground. Don't really know what to do. Family bar b que today so my options are limited. 8/21 FED TWO GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. ONLY USED .5TSP/GAL OF LIQUID KOOL BLOOM. Did not feed dieing plant. Back to super hot weather 80° at 9am. Did a lot of research last night. I also went to several commercial growers and asked advice. What I came up with was a fusarium infection of pythiym infection (Crown rot). I looked at all my stalks and they all have bark and are darker where I applied the petroleum jelly. I'm also NEVER using DE again. It fucking ridiculous amounts of water. Everyone swears by it bit it's not going in my garden again. Since use I can just watch water sit right on the GD soil. I tried to get some examples of what I'm talking about with the stems. I amputated that lowest bottom branch I trained (which was huge). I didn't have time to dispose of the other plant before my wife's doctor's appointment. I'll update when I go back over. I'm sure this won't help and may hurt but I used Bee Safe 3 in 1 on the wound and around the stalks of the plants I saw discoloration on. I didn't touch the NYCSA even though I see some discoloration. I may just be seeing things. That plant I'd super healthy and I don't want to risk losing it. It doesn't seem to have the stem rot like the others. At least I'm not the only one having problems. I hears some pretty bad stories. Still. I'm heart broken. I'll keep this updated after I go back over. FUCK. I MAY just go back to indoor. UPDATE: Got back from the appointment and the rest of the plant was all droopy just like the other 9lb kush (and the branch amputated). I wondered about that because other branches looked worse. I got the totally dead 9lb kush out and found some root rot. AFTER wheeling the bag out I found earwigs and other insects where the bag had been. Awesome. I used h202 to try to wipe down anything that looked Fingal in the stem. It sucks because it seems like that liquid kool bloom pushed them over the edge into flower. Cotton balls where there was nothing. So that's both my 9lb kush plants and the largest plant of the year the GDP that have all bit the dust. If you grow cannabis you know how I'm feeling. I KEEP TRY8NGVTO UPLOAD THE MINUTE VIDEO I TOOK BUT I CLICK ON SOMETHING ELSE AND IT DISAPPEARS. WIFI SLOW. HAVE TO WAIT FOR 5G 8/22 What do I say? Fusarium? Pythium? Stem rot? I'm going to have to get a tent to do some indoor to get the medicine I need for me and my wife. I took the last 9lb kush out and disposed of it. Well it's still in the bag. I'm hoping maybe it might come out of it (beyond hope and far away from the others (but I'm going to toss it today). This blows so hard. Flowers are just starting to develop. I like the liquid kool bloom. It seems to make flowers explode when there was none before. At least on the plants I have left. Actually even the dieing ones started flowering. I'm really concerned considering that one plant (at least) has septoria and every plant has that petroleum jelly on it. Cautio to people that use that. It seems thats where the rot started or is. In spots I spread the petroleum jelly. Anyway my NYCSA has the smallest amount of "funky looking stuff on the stem" so I'm hoping it will make it. Cotton balls starting to appear. If I lose the whole fucking crop I'm gonna go ape shit. UPDATE: Spoke with a few others and did more research. I removed my braces on the bottom of all the plants. It looks like the pjelly and the brace allowed for some type of contaminate. Other growers think I'm being too bleak. They think things will turn out okay. They are more knowledgeable about cannabis than me but I'm with these particular plants everyday. They're probably right and my anxiety is just getting g to me. It's scary seeing a healthy plant completely die in such a short time. After removing the other 9lb kush I could easily see extreme rootbound roots still too the size of the 1 gallon they came in. The bag was PACKED FULL of tight roots so they definitely made it down. The plant however just fell over when I pushed it. I had roughed it up a big before. Anyway I'm praying to the cannabis gods to not take what I have left. 8/23 Fucking pouring again. This sucks. I've gotten loads of advice and made another friend on here. I forgot my phone so I couldn't take pictures this morning. My spirits are up a little seeing that others are at least attempting to help. I'm headed to the grow shop after a night of research to grab supplies to battle this. I'll update later. EDIT: I picked up plant doctor at the grow shop. It was 50% off and I couldn't find anything with trichodermia. However, I've heard good things about this plant doctor. It's systemic and can be used as a root drench and a foliar spray. BIGGEST selling point for me is that it SPECIFICALLY lists fusarium, grey mold. Pythiym crown rot, black mold and all kinds of other shit. The thing that sucks is it's raining and it's not supposed to stop for a few days. That's going to make application more difficult. Oh well. I think I may do a root drench on the one plant that has a wilted bottom branch. I'll keep this updated. Thank you everyone who reached out. Especially growing grannies and my commercial buddy who is always here for me. However he has no experience with this so I'm kinda on my own here. EDIT: I couldn't find trichodermia and I don't have time to wait around and order. I found plant doctor which literally lists it treats all the possibly pathogens my issue could be. Even has a section for medical Marijuana. I did a root drench on the plant up front in the middle AND I did a foliar spray. Might as well get the septoria too. It's systemic but it gets in faster through the leaves I guess. It started sprinkling and I want to test this stuff out before I go ham with it. I did give some to the to other plants bit left my best AND THE TWO SMALLER ONES alone for now. I'm not seeing those issues on the NYCSA and I don't want to risk damaging it. I chose tge root drench as it's raining and the instructions for fusarium WAS a root drench. Thank you all for your help. I will close out tge question once I know it's figured out. Wish me luck. DID A SHORT VIDEO BUT WIFI IS SUPER SLOW SO I NEED TO WAIT TO UPLOAD IT. Went back over. Finished foliar spraying the other two and left the NYCSA and two Littles alone. Hopefully this works. I did I short video. Who knows if it uploads. UPDATE: Went back over and finished foliar spraying. Took a bunch of pictures and did a video but it didn't upload. I'm hoping this will do it. Plants actually look good. And they're flowering nicely! It's too bad I had to do a foliar bug this us supposed to combat PM and septoria as well. 8/24 It Rained last night but hasn't Rained today yet. It's supposed to and uts overcast. I'm really considering putting a roof on my grow (like rapacap suggested) for flower to decrease mold chances. Plants looked happy. I saw no negative effects from the Plant Doctor. I even sprayed a branch of the NYCSA and the stem and a little around tge roots. I finally feel like I can take a breath. I've been working so hard and worrying about losing g everything. I may have been able to save that 9lbkush but I don't think bit was worth taking the chance. The sun is peaking out now. My buddy at the grow shop called and set a side general hydroponics armor si 0-0-4 silica supplement cause it was 90% off. I pad like a buck sixty lol. I'll incorporate that next feed or water. Whatever comes first but it will be good to get it in the regimen. I was worried plant doctor might hurt but the girls seemed to kike it and I went ham on the worst plant. I mixed according to medical Marijuana guidelines on the label (Theres another label on the internet, it's not on this one, it's at the very bottom and just recommdations from commercial growers. I hope this stuff works. Things look better already though. That liquid kool bloom is the bees knees. That's making flowers pop up like crazy! I think I'll stick with it. I was going to use beastie bloom and cha ching later on (and still might) but I hate the lockout bullshit. I've done a bunch of videos but most don't get uploaded as i forget to upload when I leave and wifi is slow here. Anyway at least I've got a few good ones left and pleating the words of my commercial poll buddy, "barring anything catastrophic you should be fine. I know your anxiety gets the better of you sometimes." Couldn't be a truer statement. I'm still getting a tent and doing indoor though. I'm going to need to. 8/25 Did some slight defoliation. I think today I'm going to reorganize my grow space. Things are looking better though. Plants look healthier. Flower is on and they are going to beat hell. I'm glad I took a cutting from NY 9lb kush. I also took one from the NYCSA. THose are tge little ones. The 9lb kush is flowering pretty good. Too bad it's just on a 3 gal. The NYCSA us in a 10 gal grow bag though and is doing amazing. I still see septoria on the leaves. I'm sure I'll need to reapply plant doctor but thus far I'm impressed. Things LOOK better. I don't even remember the last time I watered. It Rained last night. Looks sunny today. I'm going to feed tomorrow. I want the soil to dry out though. We usually don't get consistent rain like this. It's a first for me. I'll update later if I get stuff done.still wondering if I should amputate that wilted branch or give it a bit. It's still attached right now. I'll get some sealant and do some more research.

Yikes! I've never dealt with this myself nor do I know of anyone who HAS ... but JUST today I was reading several articles on fungus and that name kept popping up.... here are some links if you haven't tried to find the answer elsewhere: This guy on youtube has a LOT of fairly good vids on cannabis - this is his on fusarium... www.youtube.com/watch If you don't want to hear him drone on, this is a good article: https://www.lahuertagrowshop.com/blog/en/how-to-prevent-and-get-rid-of-fusarium-in-cannabis/ The youtube guy has THIS on Pythium: www.youtube.com/watch And a really good article on it: https://www.growopportunity.ca/pythium-a-fungal-devastation-to-avoid/ GOOD LUCK - omg good luck!

8/26 FED TODAY. 2 GALLONS TO THE GARDEN. THE WATERING CAN I USE IS ABOUT A HALF GALLON SO THAT'S WHAT A NORMAL PLANT HAS BEEN GETTING. Wow. What a week I had last week. I'm hoping things are going up from here. It's overcast but we have a 90% chance of rain. Thunderstorms. I'm wondering if I should put my back tarp up. The wind doesnt seem too bad so I'll play it by ear. The remaining plants seem to be doing good to me. I wanted to let the soil dry out but I NEEDED to feed. Buds are popping up everywhere and increasing in size. Earwigs still seemed to lollipop the interior branches (mostly larfy stuff but still). I attached a picture so people can see what I mean. I'm getting hit on all fronts but I'm still kicking! I'll update as I go. Some pictures won't upload. I'll have to do it later. Oh and my ph is on point for once. I tested all plants a bunch of different places and readings were 6.6 to 7.3 at the highest. 8/27 Rained last night but not as bad as I thought it would. We are supposed to have some good weather coming up so I'm hoping my medium will get a chance to dry put. Still liking the liquid kool bloom. I'll up the dose next feed. I'm going to need to do another application of plant doctor this week too. It's about time for a BT application as well. I see moths flying off when I check early in the morning and I've observed some pillar damage. I'm slightly worried about soul going anaerobic. The color of the gdps are too lime green for my liking but our weather has been horrid. I never remember having to deal with shit like this. The branch that was all drooped with fusarium wilt has one (the closest to the stalk) shoot that has repaired itself. That gives me hope but I really should just amputate that branch. I guess I'm just nervous because of the reaction I had last time. Granted I've cut tons and tons of branches off in the past and prune things they didn't have whatever pathogen these do. Septoria is still there on one of the GDPs but it seems to be doing okay. I'm SLIGHTLY worried about the change in color on my big NYCSA. It's lost some of its vibrancy. I think it's kinda normal. I'm sure it has some PM (which I'm hoping plant doctor and the silica will help repress) but I think it will be a heavy yielding plant. Sun's poking out. The little clones I took are exploding in growth. They might not yield much but I'm glad I didn't just chuck them like I was going too. 8/28 Things are still looking good! We got some sunshine yesterday and the sunshine out today. Buds are really starting to form and colas are taking their shape. I'm slightly concerned with the coloring of my NYCSA but it started flowering later than the others so senescence may be behind. I may have lost half this year but looking at other diaries and attitudes of soms others I'm pretty fucking lucky. I didn't have much time this morning so I'll update later. I need to keep up with my IPM and do BT treatment and follow up with a second dose of plant doctor. 8/29 Super rushed morning. Only had time to shake the dew off the plants and snap a couple quick pictures. I lowered the growbig this week. I think that was a mistake. Plants are flowering like crazy. My NYCSA doesn't seem as vibrant green as it was. I may up feeding to twice a week or at least give them a little growbig if I need to water. I want tge medium to stay dry for a while. I also needcto cut that dead branch. I'm just afraid of a situation line before where the whole plant died. My anxiety disorder really hampers my growing ability. I qorry far too much. I should just cut it off right now. I've also seen pillar damage so I'm going to need to do a BT spray. I have the other organocide that's the 3 in 1 but I can't use it in flower. I'll just have to stagger applications. Either that or do another root drench or "sprench" and a foliar with the BT on another day. I have WPM on the garden and I'm pretty sure septoria. This plant was perfect though. I'm afraid it might be getting sick. Either way it'd an extremely resilient strain. The little 9lb kush I have in a 3 gallon is flowering the fastest. It really fuckihgcsucks I lost those massive plants. Judging by this "clone" I took off the other clone (I know) this strain wouldve been the first to finish. EDIT: Went back over to check the medium and do some slight defoliation. I inspected the stalks and the dead branch. The dead branch has a small indent (from breakage, insects or rot) where the branch connects to the stalk. I've seen this before but had no problems. However THIS branch seems to he coming out of the stalk RIGHT where the rot is. I cut the other one off that ENORMOUS 9lb Kush and it was dead a few hours later. I talked to my father who has degrees in biology and forestry (among other things) and he said he couldn't really see the harm in leaving it. I am worried that a cutworm mightve gotten in bit I don't see any evidence of any borer insect. Under that stem there is more "bark" and other stuff but nothing like a borer makes. I'm going back over tonight to treat with either BT or Plant Doctor. Haven't decided which. Probably the plant doctor. 8/30 Didn't have time for pictures. Large NYCSA NOW has fusarium wilt. Either I'm the most unlucky grower in our area or my plants got dosed with fusarium. After the research I've done I've cone to the conclusion that this season will be a complete loss. Maybe the two small separate cuttings will make it through flower. The rest is just a waiting game to see if fusarium kills it before they finish flowering. Even if it doesn't then I don't know if I would want to smoke the flowers. I'm shopping online for grow equipment. I'm going to do some indoor this winter. Wow this feels like a kick in the nuts. I'm a good dude. Like I said I'm just either the unluckily grower around or my plants had a little help. Who knows. EDIT: I treated everything with Pkant Doctor again. I'll feed tomorrow and see if some miracle happens and I actually get something 8/31 I added a few pictures so folks can see what fusarium looks like and how it progresses. As you can see it killed a branch and is progressing to the next and so on until the plant is typically dead. No need to get too scientific on the mechanism of action. I FED 2 gallons today. Still kept growbig low dosing.

9/1 Rained like hell. Fusariun is still taking branches. Still no signs on the two tiny cuttings I LEGIT ALMOST threw out. Used a ten gallon fabric pot and rounded up a 3 for the solo cup transplant lol. There doing good despite just being a practice of cloning something I pruned and couldn't give away. Oh fuck. I told myself I'd finish this diary though so other growers can see what fusarium looks like. It's very rare and almost everyone misdiagnosed it. I read that if you're close to harvest you may be able to save some branches before it takes the whole plant. Due to the storm on the 1st, the added weight and the weakening of the stems due to the fusarium I had a large stem break. It wasn't wilted but I suspect it will be shortly. I also read I should cut off infected branches. That's contrary to what I experienced. Maybe that's because it's infected the crown of the stalk. The blueberry seems to be OK bit I imagine it's gonna or already is infected. I'll update tomorrow. 9/4 We've had good weather but I've just watched the fusarium spread no matter what I do. I cut the branches open and saw the signs of the fusarium. I took more pictures and I hope this will eventually help someone. I'm hoping NY two little ones and the blueberry will make it. Fuck. I mean I've only got like 4 to 6 weeks left. I've just had to watch one right after another die. Looking at last year's diary at this time makes me want to cry. Good thing I've got a few elbows left...I don't have SHIT to lose so maybe I'll pick up some tree sealant and cut that branch of my nycsa. I mean what's the worst that could happen lol. It pains me to keep this diary goi g but I feel it would be a valuable asset to someone in the future. I think I'll change the name if the diary to "fusarium destruction" or something similar. 9/6 Just watching Fusarium kill the remainder of the crop one branch at a time. I've done a bunch of field tests. I've cut open the stalks. The pur I I've of this is to show people fusarium and how to looks and works so hopfully others can recognize this and not misdiagnose it and be forced to watch your crop go plant by plant. The dj short blueberry looks like it's going to make it. It's in a tote as well so I can move it indoors if the weather gets bad during late flower. I also have the 9lb kush cutting I took in a 3 gallon pot lol (it was all I had left of CLEAN soil) and NYCSA cutting in a 10 gallon fabric pot. Both are flowering. I'll get a couple pictures up but they are in a space that I keep forgetting to photograph. I'm just deflated I guess. Those little ones WILL make it to harvest. At least barring any kind of cataclysm.UPDATE: I did another TX of plant doctor. The two large plants I havexare looking pretty shitty. Tge blueberry I think will pull through. As will the two little clones. I SHOULD just cut the other two down NOW. However I can't help bit think MAYBE it won't kill ALL the plant. On the last GDP the leaves at the top look like a root infection. I hate seeing premature flower on a plant wilted all too shit. This will be a big loss. I'm just praying mrm dj short survives. 9/7 I don't want to sound weird but I meditated last night and prayed. In the transcendental meditative state I was shown my plants dead. I knew when I went over this morning I would see that come to fruition. The NYCSA had every branch but one wilted. I took a picture of the ONE live branch next to a wilted one and you can see the difference. I hope this diary will help SOMEONE. All the original clones I started with are dead (except the lone blueberry). The two cuttings I took have survived thus far. I fed today. I mixed up a gallon. I forgot to add the silica first so they didn't get any. Obviously fed only the blueberry and the two littles (which I managed to get a picture of this time). Blueberry has a little staining in the bottom but I light just be seeing things. We shall see. I would be very grateful if I could keep those to small cuttings and the blueberry until they are ready. Since they are in movable containers I could even bring them inside. We shall see I guess.

WEEK STARTS 9/8 9/9 Going back over to dispose of the dead plants. Blueberry still looking good. Stacking up and smelling amazing. Leaves are changing to a purplish tone. The cuttings seem to be doing okay too. I used old soil on the little 9lb kush so I'm a little concerned that it might get infected. Oh well. If I get anything this year I'll be happy. EDIT: Went back over and disposed of my other two seven footers that died due to this ridiculous disease/fungus/pathogen. I dont even know if the pros know how to classify fusarium. The classification has changed before. Anyway I burnt the plants I worked so hard to keep alive. Now I'm writing this entry before I pull out the dab pen. I tried saving some bubble gun sized buds to wash but I still have larf and trim and actual bud from the last two years I haven't washed yet. Oh well. It's hard for me to throw it ALL out. I wish I took a picture of that NYCSA cutting in the 10gallon but I didn't dare go near them after messing with the fusarium. It looked great! REAL dark green like possibly a nitrogen excess. I guess my soil gets used up during these long seasons and since these were late they got fresh happy frog for flower. Oh well. I'm going to get stoned. In the future if anyone has questions about fusarium don't be afraid to hit me up. I had no one to help as Noone had dealt with it. 9/10 Super rushed morning. Cage looks barren with that lone blueberry. It seems to be doing good and is taking on nice fall colors. The buds are swelling up nice and emitting a fruity/skunk smell. I really hope these go the distance. The two cuttings look good. No new photos but I'll try to get some today. The NYCSA clone I took that's in the 10 seems real happy. I don't remember the last time I watered. It's been dry though and they needed some water. I gave the blueberry like a gallon of phed water with silica. I watered the other two as well. I'm trying not to water too much I'm case of rot or fusarium coming back. I'll continue with plant doctor and I'm planning a treatment of BT sometime this week. The 9lb kush in the tiny 3 gallon pot looks a little lime green to me but I used recycled soil so it mat just be hungry. Or it could be that the one next to it is so dark it just looks that way. I feel a little better now that I got rid of the other plants. I can just focus on what's here and hopfully I'll be rewarded. We shall see. 9/11 Went over and shook off the buds on the blueberry. They are really fattening up and getting a strong citrusy odor. I really hope I get to see this plant finish completely. Leaves are changing to a purple in places. This plant was the stragglers of the clones I got thus year. Funny that it's the only one left and is doing good. I'm going to get some beastiebloom in the feeding schedule and do a BT spray tonight. The 9lb kush in the 3 gallon with reused (possibly infected) soil seems a little more light green with a couple yellow leaves. I'll investigate further tonight. 9/12 Due to health problems in the family I haven't been keeping up with my grow like I should. That and losing all my plants but one put a damper on things. However, buds are EXPLODING in growth ESPECIALLY on the blueberry. The smell is amazing. I noticed some slight earwig damage so I need to pull out the sluggo plus again. Earlier this week I noticed a large adult on it during g the DAYTIME. I've researched earwigs extensively but once I move my grow they won't a problem. Out of the two Littles I'll need to look into the 9lb kush and either amend the soil or add the nutes it's missing. I just need to get close and look. I had been afraid not wanting to spread fusarium. Those plantsxare gone though. Well all but one. I wanted to look through it first and see if anything is usable to make bubble hash. Didn't have time today. Three doctors appointments in three different towns. I hope I get the b.t. sprayed tonight at least. EDIT: After a day of doctor's appointments I went back over and mixed a gallon of nutes. Left the silica out as I fed that the other day and I added beastie bloomz. I was hesitant as this has caused lockout in the past. I'm also keeping nutes low to avoid any fusarium if it's there. Also trying to water as minimal as possible. I fed the 3 remaining plants and mixed up 1 and 1/2 tsp per gallon thuracide BT and sprayed all the plants. It's something I've been neglecting and I feel better getting g it done. Since using plant doctor I haven't seen a trace of pm. Seems to work awesome. It SAYS you can mic it with nutes and use it but I'm not tempting fate. I'll do a root drench or a "sprench" tomorrow. I've mourned my loss now amd I'm trying to save the little that's left. Granted some of the flowers on that blueberry are really fattening up. Noticed some more earwig damage. I hate those prehistoric fucks. No aphids or mites bit they dont STRIP a branch clean either! I may he a little bias. I put sluggo plus pellets(spinosad) in the container and all over the ground. I had been slacking. This works good. I WAS EDITING THE WRONG WEEK EARLIER AND I FUCKED SOME SHIT UP. I THINK I FIXED IT NOW THOUGH. 9/13 Still seeing earwig damage. Little bastards are eating whole buds. I'm going to go there tonight at night with my alcohol spray at the ready. Gave the last three plants another treatment of plant doctor. I don't know about the fusarium but it sure keeps the pm down. I defoliated the yellow leaves off that Tony 9lb kush. Things are getting real frosty. There is still a slight coffers stain on one side of the blueberry stalk. I'm praying it makes it to completion. Just a few more weeks. Buds are looking good. 9/14 Rained like hell last night. The blueberry was the ONLY plant I didn't support correctly and I lost half the rootball when it was transplanted. Despite a little septoria amd earwig damage the plant is a beast. It's gotta be a different phenomenon then what I grew last year. Buds are swelling up real nice. I think she's gonna make it. I added another garden stake and some temporary supports with string and garden wire. I'll have to come up with a more permanent solution. I still want to be able to move it inside if needed. The other two plants are doing good too. The little 9lb kush has wicked dense gard buds. It's known for that so I'm excited to see how it turns out. At least i still have a couple plantscti work with. Don't know what I'd do if I didn't.

Hey folks. I'm looking to do indoor this winter. I'd like to get a tent with everything kinda ready to go. I would like a nice light ad well. Would I be better off buying a complete tent or buying each item separately. Looking to fit a few plants. Lookin 4 opinions

A couple of 2x4's some screws and tacks, and some black and white plastic from the hydroponic store and you can build any size tent you like. You can use a cheap pond liner from home depot for the floor, then you can water to runoff all you like and just vacuum it up with a wet vac.

9/15 I'm starting by saying that the plant doctor is a great product. For the first time in forever I have no traces of wpm. The fusarium doesn't seem to be spreading g either. Blueberry is exploding in growth. It seems like everyday the buds are bigger. We had a MASSIVE wind storm. I mean a windstorm that knocked down trees. The blueberry was the only one that wasn't properly vertically trellises. My tiny little supports didn't hold. Nothing broke and there's no damage but I had to move the plant and secure it better. I didn't have time before the doctor but I HAD to do it. I used the trellis from another plant to keep the branches upright as they're so heavy. If it RAINED those branches would've snapped for sure. I put the little one in the lean-to beside the barn out of the wind. Blueberry is getting closer. I really think k it'll make it. UPDATE: I took some buds from the plants that died in early flower and washed them for ice water hash. Well I'm in the process of washing some. There's a lot and I want to see if it's any good before I kill my arms. It's a great forearm workout though. Although it's hard to take a drink now. Of course that's when it REALKY started bubbling furiously. I know I'll get double the next pull at least. I'm going to let it sit and maybe add some more when I do it. I'll post a temple ball if it works out. If not I have other stuff to wash. I may do a diary on that. Went back over and all plants seem happy despite the gusts of wind. Luckily I was able to get the tarp up. I'm taking a break before I die from exhaustion. I felt off the ladder earlier this morning..... 9/16 I watered the plants a little. The soil was dry to the touch but i noticed the container was still heavy so I lightly watered. With all this sun and it supposed to be 80 today I felt I needed to water. The wind is still horrific. I have my blueberry trellises pretty good. Others have wind breaks. I fell hard yesterday morning hurrying around. I was on an upside down bucket on one foot and it kicked put from under me. Legs flew in the air. Luckily I wasn't injured. At least that's something I've taken from martial arts that's benefitted me. Knowing how to fall. Anyway everything is progressing nicely in flower. I'm goi g to continue with beastie bloom but I'll switch over shortly to cha ching. I'm getting close. Also ran a batch of water hash with the buds of dead plants. I didn't think I'd get anything but I did. Now to properly dry it and see if it's any good. Still a heart break. Oh well. 9/17 I totally fucked everything up. I uploaded a shit ton of pictures to the wrong week. The app wasn't working. Hope I didn't fuck or too much. Fed everything today. The blueberry is in late flower. Some buds look REAL close to being done. My wife keeps talking to me so I can't finish this. I have to do things one at a time sometimes and this just isn't working here. Massive wind storms but no broken branches. Temps get down close to freezing at night. Low Temps are bringing out fall colors. I took a video of the blueberry. the other two won't be done for a little bit though. Oh well. I'll just bring them inside the garage at night. 9/18 I've been out multiple times to shake the buds today. It's not raining now but it did last night and today. Another day or two of rain and then some. I che ked some trichs and some buds are done. I'm just waiting for the rain to clear up and we get some sun. Wish I checked the trichs before this bout of rain. It's not raining now though and hadn't for a little while. Prime for thieves but I'm not realky worried. To much hassle for one plant and there's dogs. I may harvest in sections. I was going to do plant doctor today but it will have to he tomorrow. 9/19 It's been raining but today looks good. Treated with plant doctor. I can't say enough good things about that product. I got the trich scope out after a few friends said my plants look ready. Some buds are. That's how it goes. Buds don't all mature at once. I like a solid couch lock though. If the forecast is just going to he more rain then I'll do a selective harvest. It's about the same time the strain finished last year. Now I've got earwigs eating my buds from the bottom up. UPDATE: I found my old trich scope but couldn't find the right batteries anywhere. I wad able to buy a new one for ten bucks. I went back over having more time. After ACTUALLY checking the trichs they were mature. Obviously the whole plant can't be at the same stage but everything is nice and milky. Earwigs were starting to eat the bottom of buds and had stripped a couple lower branches. After seeing this and having a nice day where the flowers dried out and an upcoming rainy forecast I chose to harvest the majority of the blueberry plant. I left some small branches but I'm almost positive it will just turn into earwig food. Seems early to ke but looking back this was about the same time this strain was ready last year. Same problem with the ear wigs only I let them eat the while inner plant before I called it quits and took what was left after it was my finally my perfect stage. I was using a USB microscope and was being to picky. I think I made the right choice.

9/22 I was correct in my assumption and correct in picking my harvest date. The buds I had left on the branches of the blueberry plant were eaten from the bottom up on almost every bud. Looks like a hat. They eat up the stem and leave like the very top of the bud. I'll try to grab a picture for you guys. Trichs were milky with some amber but the heads were full. It looks amazing and smells even better. Very pretty flowers. I smoked a bud that earwigs had chewed off. It only rolled half a joint but it was awesome! The hash I made is bomb too. I still have tons of material to sieve when I have time. The two little plants are doing amazing despite the horrible weather we are having. It's been pouring for what seems like weeks. I do want to point out that plant doctor is an amazing product. I fully believe it saved my blueberry plant when all the others died. It has also suppressed all signs of wpm. If you've seen my previous diaries the blueberry is hanging in the same spot as before. A string and a half. I'll update the harvest report when it's dry. It was great that my plant got washed by the rain and was able to totally dry out before I harvested. I've NEVER seen trichomes this CLEAN and Sparkly. It's like a crystal forest. I believe the last feed was on the 18th. I've had some personal issues so my diary is a little off. 9/23 Rain has ended for now. It's supposed to rain mon, Tues, wed. Though. The two little plants left have a few weeks left. No pest damage. No signs of fusarium. Plant Doctor has even kept pm from raising its ugly head. I need to do a harvest report on that blueberry plant. Turned out MUCH better than I assumed it would. I'll put that in harvest report when I have time. I think I may do one more beastie bloom feed before I switch to cha ching. I find it amazing that this short amount of distance has rectified any problems. The bag is only 10 gallons and the pot 3 so if need be I will move them inside the barn to finish or avoid inclement weather. It's not like the others that were 7ft tall and trellised all up. Its an easy move. 9/24 FED 1 gallon TODAY. ADDED CHA CHING INSTEAD OF BEASTIE at same rate. Wind is ridiculously. I started making a make shift support but the plant almost broke so I just put them in the garage until this is over. I'd you look at the cleaves yiy can see the Wind damage. Other than that the plant looks great. Wind is 30mph with gusts up to 55mph. I'll bring them back out tomorrow. I'll do the blueberry harvest when I have time. 9/25 I'm super glad I was able to put both plants in last night. The leaves on the NYCSA show wind burn. They just look a little crinkled in spots. With gusts up to 65mph I was lucky I got there in time to save them. I thought the 3 gallon might go airborne lol. That's with a wind blockahe on 3 sides. At least these plants are healthy and can go until I decide they are peak. Having a smaller bag makes it extremely easy to move these plants inside. I buried that cutting so deep when transplanting that like half an inch above the soil are two quarter sized buds. I also noticed slight pillar damage (one spot on one leaf, I know) so I treated with BT early this morning. 1tsp per half gallon. I will take pictures of the blueberry I harvested once I trim some stuff up and have time to do the harvest abs smoke report. Super happy that the plant was even able to survive. Let alone produce good smoke. 9/26 More fucking rain. I've been. Super busy but I'm go8ng to try to get the blueberry harvest and smoke report done. Multiple doc apps today. Rrrrrrr 9/27 Rain. 9/28 Says it's gonna rain today. The little 9lb kush is very close to done. Trichs are turning amber. I'm keeping an eye on it. The NYCSA seems to have am extremely long flowering time (up to 10 weeks) but it's extremely healthy. I FIMMED it and the results were amazing. It's got like five different tops at that split. I lucked out. I was going to apply plant doctor again but I held off. I've seen zero wpm and these plants obviously missed the fusarium or I would he seeing signs. I need to get my trim on and post some pictures of my blueberry. I want to actually do the harvest and smoke report correctly (and I've had a lot of doctors appointments lately) so I don't wantvto just half ass it.

9/29 Wow that NYCSA is probably the healthiest plant I've ever grown.ive researched more on the strain. I researched flower time and it is 8 to 10 weeks! Tichs are starting to turn milky. Hairs are turning a little amber. I FIMMED this and it turned out beautiful with like five colas. The little 5lb kush is done. It's about the densest buds I've grown. We have a few days of good weather so I may leave it for a few days. I was considering another app of plant doctor but held off. If I see ANY wpm I'll apply it. Going to hit the NYCSA with cha ching again. Probably one more feed. Grow big should've been taken out a couple weeks ago. Seeing this plant grow so healthy solidifies my new grow area. I even found two or three aphids! Obviously there are no earwigs or their wouldn't be ANY aphids. Nor buds near the stalk. I've got two little quarter size buds at the bade of the plant and those would be gone. Blueberry turned out great. Can't believe it made it through the fusarium outbreak. UPDATE: I think the little 9lb kush is done. Both by the trichs and the shape of the bud. The next few days are supposed to be really good though so I might just let it ride. That NYCSA has continued to surprise me. Strong odor resinous buds. Still blond hairs that have just started to change but the buds are really stacking up. This is one of the healthiest plants I've had so its going the distance. The buds are swelling and trichs getting milking bit the hairs are still blond. I'm hoping for another both swell. When I FIMMED this it ended up coning out perfect with like five tops. I'll have to post a picture of the limb skeleton. I can't take the anxiety with the rippers and letting things go till perfection so I've started keeping the plants inside. I guess that's one benefit if a small grow bag lol. 10 gal us a lot easier to move than 50. I was upset that I lost so much but in very grateful for what I still have. 9/30 Harvested the 9lb kush today. Trichomes say it's done. The buds haven't been getting any bigger either. It is coated in trichomes (approx 15%-20% amber) and extremely dense. I'll save details for the harvest report. FED the NYCSA kf gallon. I used only Cha Ching and Silica. I'm not sure if it should be hit one more time with plant doctor or not. I'm not seeing mold or pm. It says up till day OF harvest and has instructions for medical cannabis. The trichs on this NYCSA have swelled and are filled in super milky. Amber on leaves. I think the FIM might be deceiving me as so many tops are going to be smaller than one large cola. It also has blond hairs all over it. They ARE pulling in a bit but the plant doesnt look ready to me. No senescence but It's one of the healthiest plants I've ever grown. Temps dip into the low 30s at night. I will keep thos diary updated. I need to get my ass in gear and trim my blueberry so I can do the harvest report. I grew it last year too. Turned out better this year. Still have buds on tge blueberry plant that I want to use to show the damage earwigs do. Even to fully mature buds with tons of trichs that should protect them. 10/1 This may have been a shitty season and I lost ALMOST everything to fusarium but I'm grateful for what I do have. Quality over quantity this time. The NYCSA goes inside at night. Trichs are all milky af buds are dense af. This girl has a week or two left. I'm young to pet nature dictate this harvest. I know this is a long flowering strain so I'm letting it ride. Very few of the yellow pistols started turning red. 10/2 Another super sunny day. I'm go8ng to have to water soon. Wondering if I should do one more app of plant doctor before I harvest. I saw a smidgen of pm on a very lower inner leaf. I think the plant needs a week or two. It's tricky. Trichs say its done and buds are swelled but the pistols haven't changed color yet. A VERY few have but hardly any and I've got all milky trichs and super rock hard buds. Frost warning today and tomorrow but I'm putting the last one inside at night. I check it multiple times a day. Should be OK. 10/3 Last couple nights were freezing! Car was all iced up this morning. Good thing I put the last girl in the barn. She was absolutely perfect except for a few spots of pm down low. I bring a loupe everyday things change so fast. However since this plant is so healthy and has no problems I'm letting it ride until I feel it's perfect. Another hard frost tonight but the days are AWESOME. Just pure sun! Pistols are receding but haven't changed colors yet amd are still light orange. Some have died and turned red. The trichomes are full and milky with a few amber. I know that NYCSA is a long flowering strain. Looking at the structure of the flowers and the thickness if it's not done it's really close. I gave it some water today. About half a gallon. I was wondering I'd I should give it one more dose of plant doctor before I harvest. I think I've got a week or so left. I'm uncertain if I should use it or not. The pm was very space amd I wiped it off with a paper towel and alkaline water. The lb kush I harvested looks and smells amazing. I can't wait to try it. 10/4 Super cold last night. I waited to bring the plantvout until 8am and the temp only rose to 35 from 31 at 6am. Checked trichs again amd they look perfect. My only hesitation is that pistols haven't changed color and I noticed that SOME die and turn a bright red. The others pulled into the bud but stayed a more yellowish color than orange. I can't find any I go on this strain New York City Skunk Ape. I found the breeder which is from Maine. I think it's goonie genetics and its 10 week flower I think. This is a tough one. We have some sunny weather coming and it won't be too cold. I'll bring it inside at night. I did notice negligible amounts of pm on lower portion of plant. I defoliated but I didn't want to do the plant doctor as it's been so cold. Last few days have been all hard freezes. Below 30°F. I'll check on this later. If possible I'd like it to get all the sun it can. I'm just running out of time. Checked the relative humidity with not a cloud in sight and iys all sunny but the rh is 88%! No wonder we have a problem with mold. It I didn't think I'd be harvesting in a couple days I'd use plant doctor again. I'll make that decision later. It will at least get today's sunshine. EDIT: TODAY WAS THE DAY. She came down. Trichs were milky turning amber and the buds were fat as hell. I'm not risking anything else and I doubt I'd gain anything anyway. This girls telling me she's done so I listened. I'll be updating that harvest report soon. So excited for this strain!

This was one of seven plants in my garden. Fusarium Oxysporum took all of them but the blueberry and two small expurimental cuttings i couldnt givecaway. It appeared to have a slight coffee stain on the bottom of the stalk and appeared to suffer from WPM AND septoria. Plant Doctor saved my ass this year. IF it was infected it got stopped in its tracks. P.m. went away. I did have to harvest a tad earlier than I would've liked due to the earwigs. I did a test and left a few buds to see what would happen. The bugs stripped them during the rain. They look like little wizard hats so I certainly made the right decision. Just wish i got it plant doctor earlier. This plant pulled through all those obstacles like a champ. Smells and tastes of berries.

This strain did great until fusarium came and totally destroyed it. It looked like I was getting a hold on it but it died shortly after. This little guy was tough as heck though and has some of the densest buds I've grown. I pulled on the stalk after harvest and the rootball came out of the pit with ALL the soil and stayed totally intact. Nice white roots but definitely rootbound. It smells skunky and gassy and is COVERED in crystals. I can't wait to try it. EDIT: I didn't know the green faces meant that the cannabis CAUSED those effects. I thought that meant that it specifically HELPED with those conditions. Which this strain did. It greatly helped all those conditions and didn't induce anybody them.

I've used growdiaries for a few seasons now. For the most part the community is great and really tries to help each other. I've even made a few friends (here's looking at you @growinggrannie ) . However this go 'round I noticed a lot of ego's being thrust around in order to score points for a competition. This resulted in some outright TERRIBLE advice and even worse bullying. This is such a great site for us to learn and share knowledge. Let's not let one leper ruin our colony. Sorry. I'll get off my soap box. New York Skunk Ape grew itself for the most part. I just gave it the things it needed to do its thing. The smell is extremely pungent. I can't wait to sample this strain.
