Day 56 flowering
The Gorilla Girls are almost ready to harvest. Foliage is still quite green and thick and tricomes are maturing. There is a significant addition of frost so I do not mind letting her go long and flushing well.
Both plants smell the same with a slight heavier presence of melon in #1... Sweet, Nutty, Vanilla and dare I say it...Cakey.
There is not much more to tell right now besides they are "greener" looking than the other 2 genetics in the tent. I cut a lower bud off today for a tester...I couldnt wait any longer :)
Considering this was my first run of this genetics I think they did well with no topping. The colas are nice,tight and fat and the lateral branches grew quite well also. Next time I will use a little less PPM instead of pushing so hard.
Thanks to Sweet Seeds once again for gifting me these seeds. :)

@jourelemode, Sweet Seeds Gorilla Girl is easy to grow but the smoke is not for beginners. Strong smoke! I've grown it 3 times.

@OutForReal, Thanks bro... I used the entire Advanced Nutrients lineup and blasted them pretty heavy with it. Lighting was intense also

@Nebula420, Hello friend. I use Vero29 COB LEDs. There are 5 cobs running at 75watt each from a single driver (ballast)=375watts . The driver is dimmable so it doesn't always have to be on full power for such times as when you have seedlings or cuttings, you can dim your lights down and save electricity. It was purchased as a 4'x2' kit from Rapidled.com. It is very bright, not very hot, full spectrum lighting and efficient.
This will be my first grow from start to finish with the lamps. I purchased it mid grow last run. So far in veg from seeds it is making very strong, squat plants.
