Hi there!! 🐝 I collected some pollen. 💪 Feeling quite omnipotent now. Here's how I did it, it hasn't proven to work yet! I made a little paper bag (found black paper and it's great to see the pollen), I also use bags like those to store flower seeds from the garden. Each day when the humidity outside is 45% or below, I take one bag and collect pollen from newly opened pollen sacks. So much fun! 😆 Just tap the flower a bit, holding the bag below. The pollen will fall like a million stars. Maybe make a wish. 😏 It's not much pollen, so it's easy to dry it, I just put it in a jar with a silica pack over night. Then into a jar in the freezer with the other paper bags, also with a silica bag there. I mixed some with flour, maybe 2 : 1 (flour : pollen).. Fingers crossed! 😜 I would love to hear what you experienced growers have to say about my approach. ______________________________________________________ DAY 8 Potted the little genie, and watered thoroughly.. 💧 Here is how I use micorrhiza when potting - I put it close to the roots, so they can get married, and I won't add trichoderma for 2 weeks now.
