Depending on the plant, anywhere from 5 to 21 days, but 10 days or so is about average. Sativas seem more stubborn, indicas more eager.

Ideally you should water the plant a day or two before transplant, and then lightly directly after transplant, then continue on normal schedule. There's no reason to not water after transplant, if anything this helps settling in the new bigger pot and for the soil to unify.

If you ask about damage, I would say Overwater. In this stage I water my plants 0.5 liter a day, your dose is 5 times higher. I think this needs some more air, cuz they hardly breathe in constant wet soil
